Popular Post PooPooBlast
#187 and 100% DLC completed Doom 2016 As a first-time Doom new-comer, I can see what the hype was all about. Gunplay feels great, the music slays and Doomslayer kicks all sorts of ass. Combine the three and you have yourself a solid game. Seriously tho, the music slayssss \ Story-wise, I can't say I liked it that much. It was just... there. I felt that it was there as an excuse to shoot demons which hey, I didn't mind at all as I knew what I was getting myself into. Nobody plays Doom for the story, LOL. The MP was surprisingly fun, like really fun. I managed to get all DLC MP trophies legit which only took me about 22 hrs according to the in-game timer. No boosting sessions needed which is always a win in my book! Yes, that means the servers are still populated enough, even 7 years after release! In the Doom MP, you essentially have the classic Team deathmatch but also objective-based games like capture the flag, securing bases, securing a single moving base (extremely chaotic game-mode) and soul extraction (collect medals, err, souls when you kill an enemy). Anyway, the way that SP OP items were implemented in the MP like quad damage, BFG and powerup spawns was pretty smart. So yea... Doom 2016 in a nutshell. Good stuff. I already bought Doom Eternal which I plan on playing later this year . Onto the next!

Popular Post MidnightDragon
#99 Dragon Age II This game takes place in the 10 years following Dragon Age: Origins, where you play as Hawke as they journey from being a refugee of the Blight to the Champion of Kirkwall whose actions will ultimately change the course of the world. I thought the framing narrative was pretty interesting. The combat is much faster paced, which is a nice touch. That was the main thing I would've changed from Origins. This game is not Origins, but it's good on its own merits. I honestly don't see why all the hate. The main conflict in the game is mages vs. Templars. As the game goes on, you'll hear about it more and more, which is understandable since your influence grows throughout the game. By the end, you may be, as one of your companions says, sick of mages and Templars. It's still a good story and the characters are memorable. As good as this game was, one has to wonder how amazing it would be if BioWare wasn't being rushed by EA. There are quite a few trophies with collectibles. One in particular, Supplier, is a potential plat breaker. A lot of ingredients are locked behind places you can't go back to once you finish quests and you also have to watch some of your companion relationships. You don't get the last ones until just before the end of the game, so if you mess up, you have to play again. Also, too many fucking spiders! While I still enjoyed Origins more, this was still quite enjoyable. On the DLC, if you play just one, make sure you play Legacy. It's VERY relevant to the series. The Exiled Prince is a nice extra character, but you probably won't use him outside of what you need for trophies since you get an archer early on and you may very well be an archer yourself if you're a rogue. Mark of the Assassin is a nice little detour. They poke fun at themselves for some of the criticism of the main game. It was mainly to promote a then recent web series, but you don't need to watch it to know what's going on. Anyway, if there was a remaster or remake of this game, I would play it again. I would recommend. Edited May 20, 2023 by MidnightDragon

Popular Post DeepEyes7
BlazBlue: Central Fiction Finally finished with the main saga of BlazBlue (just pending the Cross Tag Battle Spin-Off, missed the JP Stack of Chronophantasma Extend but really dont want to mess with the Vita Trick...), I really liked the story even if some people thinks otherwise, the story of this game is HUGE, you can take 20-30 hours just reading the full story of each main game in a VN format, and as confusing and convoluted as it is I think that it had a good sad ending. Will miss the gag reels of brother paradise and Eros glasses, and I'm sad because I didnt had the ending of Litchi's costumes on CF... In conclusion, BlazBlue is a very good fighting saga, each game tried to improve things respect their predecessors, some worked, some don't but in Central Fiction we have the most complete version with a huge roster of characters each with their own drives and gameplay that makes this saga very rich and enjoyable.
Popular Post Mr_Fluffy_Pants_
138 - Suicide Guy Sleepin Deeply Only paid a dollar for this game so can’t really complain. While it isn’t what I’d call shovelware, it certainly isn’t a good game by any means either. The second last level has some references to the tomagochi toys from the 90s, I thought that was pretty neat. All in all I can’t recommend this game for anything but a quick platinum.

In this game, you control Kena, who has to travel and explore beautiful scenarios, saving cute creatures and defeating enemies in combats that can be very challenging in the most difficult modes. This game was visually stunning, with great music and engaging combat. However... I didn't enjoy playing it, I just didn't. The story failed to capture my interest, and collecting items was a nightmare. I found myself wanting to play other games instead. I believe this game simply wasn't suited to my preferences, but it's clear that it was made with love and dedication. Sometimes these things happen...
Popular Post dj_lalle
Recently Got the platinium for star wars jedi survivor. the game has been really fun. graphic has been fine, gameplay open world elements has been good (just wished for a minimap to know where I was on the map), challenges were good. story was also great. the addition of fast travel has been freaking amazing, otherwise I think I’ll never would have gotten the platinium without it.
Popular Post Starrk_01
Plat #223: Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series (PS4) This is a remastered version of the Klonoa series (two games) which first appeared in 1997. While I never played the first as a kid I remember borrowing the 2nd game from a friend on the PS2. It is a simple platformer with levels that occasionally have puzzles in them. There are collectibles you need to get in each level with a few that are well hidden, but it isn't difficult and if you aren't good at platforming you can select Easy difficulty (which gives you infinite lives). A relatively quick plat.
Popular Post blacklight-nero
#434 Not much to say that hasn’t been said already about this great game but I enjoyed it very much was really fun, Being open world I took my time exploring everything I could find I was very thorough but no doubt missed plenty of secrets and items still to find, Compared to the other souls games achieving the platinum was way easier for me as its been stated before you can make it as easy or as hard as you want I choose the easier way aka Ashes, I like the fact I virtually did no grinding like the other games for stuff like covenant items and chunks or whatever it may be hallelujah, nah just joking never really minded the grind that much but I like that it’s not necessary here, I usually play as a mage or pyromancer in the souls games but went for a melee build this time my brother always said I haven’t experience true souls if not doing a melee build meh whatever but still it was fun with the exception of flying enemies annoying, I’m a big fan of open world games and absolutely loved playing through this but undecided if I prefer it more than the linear progression of the other games ehhh, Anyway overall had a great time. ? Popular Post disaster500
#71 Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart - 63.09% Personal Difficulty - 3/10 This was playing on Hard difficulty. If you use every accessibility/assist feature and play on the easiest difficulty, you are literally invincible and have auto aim, so probably a 1/10 with that stuff. Time Played - 13 hours I got way more gold bolts/collectibles and levelled up more weapons than necessary, you could easily shave off a few hours with that. Because of university exams I took a 4 week break from the PS5. During this period Rift Apart was announced as a PS Plus Extra game, which I've wanted to see for a while now. So I come back, finished off the last singleplayer trophy in DOOM Eternal (Extra Lives mode) and jumped straight into this. It was an overall fun experience all around. I like platformers, and I like shooters, and R&C is kinda both, so naturally I'd enjoy the games. This one has a nice set of weapons, although I found the new RYNO a little disappointing, especially after the beast that was the RYNO in R&C PS4. The trophy list was kind of underwhelming though. The requirements for the platinum in this game are barely above a casual playthrough, so the typical trophy hunting experience isn't there. You beat the game (whilst using auto-aim, immortality etc. if you want), do the tiniest amount of clean-up and that's pretty much it. 90% of the arena trials aren't required, almost all of the gold bolts/armour/lorbs aren't either, and you only have to upgrade a single weapon to level 5. Not even level 10. You don't even have to do Challenge Mode, other than playing the first level up to the first shop to buy the 2 Challenge Mode exclusive weapons. It's not surprising that this is now my most common platinum. I get that R&C games are supposed to be easy and have easy plats to reflect that, but this trophy list feels incomplete. IMO they should've done a similar one to R&C PS4, which needs everything I mentioned in the previous paragraph. Whatever, it was still a fun time. Definitely recommend. Next might be DOOM Eternal, depends on if I boost the multiplayer trophies before platting something else.
Popular Post Moridin83
#267 Syphon Filter: Logan's Shadow And we're done with Syphon Filter, unless they add the PS2 only title. I can't say I'll really miss them. The PSP games haven't evoked any of the nostalgia that the PS1 titles did. So you're just left with a game that has not aged particularly well. I think I mentioned it regarding a previous game, but Gabe is a moron most of the time. The one bright spot here is that he finally wins the stupid prize for all the stupid games he's been playing!
Popular Post Mr_Fluffy_Pants_
139 & 140 - Hot Shots Golf 2 - PS4/5 The ps1 was one of the first consoles i owned as a kid so I have a lot of nostalgia for these games, but this one in particular I never played before. Wasn’t too bad, managed to knock out both versions in two days just playing a couple 2-3 hours a day. The one trophy that was very tedious was the albatross trophy, somehow on the ps4 version I did it in three or so attempts, on the ps5 version I was trying to get it for HOURS, and that’s with rewind. I don’t know much about golf but It made me wonder if anyone has ever gotten an albatross in real life ? or even in a golf game without rewind, seems next to impossible. Really hope they bring trophies to more ps1 games, I’d love to do resident evil directors cut, harvest moon and ridge racer type 4 but sadly none of those have trophies as far as I’m aware.
Popular Post Mariner1534
#83: Final Fantasy - Master of I The game that started it all, the original Final Fantasy feels a bit weird to go back to after playing some of the later, more grandiose entries. It's a short, pretty basic quest without a lot of the recurring elements (such as characters/enemies, mechanics, etc.) that the series would be later known for. It probably won't be your favorite Final Fantasy, but it's still decent fun and worth a playthrough just to see how far the series has evolved from this one. I'm kind of disappointed the game doesn't have the extra content from earlier ports (like the GBA version's extra dungeons), though I respect Square's decision to keep the pixel remasters authentic to the original version as much as possible. This has got to be the easiest mainline Final Fantasy to plat. The game itself is really short if you know where to go (the main story only took me around 9 hours, plus 2-3 hours of cleanup), and past the early game (where resources are a bit more limited) there's really not much challenge in the combat unless you purposefully chose a weak combination of classes. You can also just jack up exp/gold earned to 4x, although you really don't need that at all here. Nothing missable (a rarity for Final Fantasy, so enjoy it while you can), and a tracker for treasure chests makes the 100% trophy for that a cinch. Honestly, the only annoying trophy was for completing the bestiary... some enemies have a really low spawn rate (*angrily glares at Warmech*). Popular Post Rias Gremory
Platinum #1150 Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut Trophy 25,000th Milestone 1150th Uncommon: 49.24% Difficulty: 3/10. Enjoyment: 10/10. Challenge: 10/10. Music: 10/10. Story Mode: 10/10. Trophy Progression: Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut 100% Completed. Genre: Action, Adventure, Drama, Open World, Stealth, Murder, Death, Historical, Hack and Slash and Beat em up. Playtime Hours: 89 hours and 20 minutes. Grind Difficulty: 9/10. Platinum Time: 3 weeks and 1 day. Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut Summary. I will have to admit that Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut was a superb and a fantastic experience for me when I played this game around 3 weeks ago. I really actually loved the Japanese open world game culture and historical places such as, enemies from another country invading Tsushima and other vast kinds of stuff in the game. The story mode was excellent and yeah I definitely give it a well deserve perfect score of 10. It was well worth it and given how good the game really is. I name my horse Kage (Shadow). My own favorite horse got killed at the end of Act II. Best loyal horse I have ever had with me on the journey. Man this feels so good right now. The rage, the emotion that seriously gets tense up completely and everything else included. Upgrading Weapons and Other Objectives. As I continue to forged ahead of the game. It took me some considerable and huge amount of time for me to understand the game alot more better. Purchasing upgrade weapons was a huge must for me if I wanted to increase my chances to succeed in the game. It did took me a little while to fully upgraded everything and hit everything I have got within me. Best weapon choice I like the most was the Kunai. Now that right there shows the very effective and quick damage to staggered and kill enemies on the spot. Moon Stance was my most favorite one as it can cut down large brute enemies really easily just as long as I can dodge perfectly and I have no faults on it whatsoever. Collectibles was a huge pain in the ass for me and honestly it was fucking annoying as I had to go through every single map of the three islands in it. It did tired me out real badly but I haven't given up and I never will. Others included went fine and still no mistakes. Multiplayer Online Objectives and DLC Packs. In order for me to get 100% completion of Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut. I had to do the online trophies and honestly it was a royal pain in the ass as I had to get all 4 roles at level 20 to get that trophy out of the way. Well strictly speaking, the higher the difficulty you do, the greater the risk and the greater the rewards you received with better weapons and of course the XP as well. I had to do Raiders on three rounds on Iyo and succeeded perfectly. You will understand that in time when you played the game guys. *Sigh* Putting through all that hard work I did and ultimately it paid off in the end. I had to do another DLC pack and it took me around a couple hours to completed and that was Iki Island. Took all of those bad boys with me back to Tsushima and it made me go extra stronger and better chance at completing the game at a fast rate paced. Platinum Trophy! A Legend for All Time Trophy! Honour the Unseen Trophy! Master Liberator Trophy! Transcendence Trophy! Highly and strongly recommend this game! Next Platinum Goal: ???
Popular Post Trancexistence
#60 - Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Moving into the sixties with my favourite Tekken game, a statement I feel like I don't hear many people use about Tekken Tag Tournament 2. I've always felt nostalgic towards this game which essentially serves as a "greatest hits" collection for the first six mainline games in the same way the original Tag game did for Tekken 1-3. Trophy wise it's very straightforward to platinum although reaching Tekken Lord (30th Dan) in Ghost Battle is quite a grind and this is where I spent most of my time. I had to win 355 matches in total, although this can vary depending on how many matches you lose, and it's possible to drop in ranking if you lose too many times. Oddly enough, the final trophy I needed was Fickle Friend for switching places between partners 765 times and I ended up going into practice mode to grind that one at the end because I was roughly a couple of hundred tags short as it turned out. I've always loved the soundtracks in this series and this game is no exception, with the highlight for me being Sadistic Christmas from the Arctic Dream stage. The game also has my favourite main menu and character select screen music in the series too. I'm sticking with this franchise for my next platinum as I'm doing Tekken 7 next. Enjoyment: 10/10Difficulty: 4/10Total Game Time: About 20 hours
Popular Post KenjiCBZ
#94+5000th Trophy: Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled Woah! (7.98% - Very Rare) Earn all the other Trophies The original Crash Team Racing was very important to me, that's why I decided to make this Platinum my 5000th Trophy: not only as a kid, but for several years, from 2014 to 2018/19, I used to do time trial challenges with other players on an Italian Crash Bandicoot forum, so I developed some skill in this game and I even ended up beating some developers times in a couple of races. But it's been some years since the last time I played, so I was a bit rusty and I had to practice again: timestamps don't lie, it took me around 40 minutes to win my very first race in adventure mode. From then on, however, I got good again and I ended up doing everything in few tries, except for Papu Papu's boss race that, for some reason, gave me some trouble. I even managed to get the four Platinum Relics in the first area but, after taking way too long in trying to get another one, I gave up, since they are not required for the Platinum: however, while going for the Sapphire Relics, I still managed to earn a couple more of Platinum Relics, despite playing kinda bad. When I got to the end and I had to race against Oxide for the second time, it felt impossible to me: Oxide starts driving without you, he is faster than you because of rubber banding, and the whole track is full of potions and crates, making it impossible to drive the way you wish. So, after some hours of trying, I gave up and I decided to restart the Adventure mode from scratch, this time not on Easy difficulty rather than Hard, and in few days I breezed through the mode and I beat Oxide with ease. Regarding the time trials, since as I said I have a lot of experience with this game, I found most of Oxide's times to be easy and manageable: I managed to beat them all in few days. Two worth mentioning are Dragon Mines and Crash Cove: the first was definitely the hardest to me, it took me around 20 minutes but in the end I beat him, despite not playing perfectly, while the second took me only few tries but, unlike the other times, I just barely beat him, rather than outlasting him by a mile. In the process of beating Oxide's times, without wanting, I also managed to beat Velo's times in some races. The Platinum would have been very, very harder if you were required to earn the Platinum Relics, beat Oxide twice on Hard difficulty, and beat the developers times: thankfully, none of that is required and therefore I find this Platinum very doable, with a bit of practice. Obviously, having years of experience with the Ps1 game was a huge advantage to me. That said, I am very happy of having made the Platinum from this game my 5000th Trophy. Woah!
