Popular Post tommeyliang
#69 (nice~!) & #70: Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key (PS4/PS5) Earned my 69th and 70th platinum trophies. The end of a fantastic trilogy in the Atelier series. I have only played the Atelier Sophie and Atelier Ryza games, and Ryza is definitely my favorite of the two. The dev team of Gust really wanted to finish strong as you can use 11 playable characters (which is the most for Atelier Ryza), along with even improved gameplay. There are four overworld maps including Kurken and Cleria. Loved the ease of duplicating and rebuilding in order to get as many SP and gems as I could. I had waited a year to play this due to there not being a trophy guide. I had to read some threads on PSNP, GFAQs, Reddit and some YouTube videos to truly get some of the more obscure trophies. Ultimately it was quite the treat, and I had a blast. Overall: 8.5/10 15

Popular Post Bean_Cove
#171 - The Outer Worlds as well as 100% I'm really glad i played this game, huge fan of obsidian's new vegas and wanted to give it a shot it certainly isn't as fleshed out as new vegas but as it still manages to stand out in the crowd of RPGs the DLCs were also much more in depth than i would have expected, you can tell the devs cared for the whole game when in production
Popular Post Mr_Wright95
Platinum 183 Despite being a free game on PS+ with a very short time to complete according to various guides, this game started off by pleasantly surprising me. Having never played Hello Neighbour 1 I felt this game built suspense really well and whilst a guide was more or less essential, I still got some enjoyment out of the game. Unfortunately bugs ran rampant for me with this game with so many crashes + my save corrupting forcing me to restart and do an entire playthrough in one sitting. (which still crashed) Based on that and the fact that the suspense and "fear" effect of this game does wear off fairly fast (and the ending was a bit all over the place) I have placed this in the "Not My Cup of Tea" tier. I contemplated it for Regret Playing, but ultimately only 1 restart due to bugs saved it from the bottom tier, had that happened again it would be towards the bottom. Without any bugs this game would likely have been at the bottom of: Not Bad, Could be Better. Popular Post Biertje373
Platinum #96 The LEGO Movie: Videogame The Piece of Resistance Fun: 8.5/10 Difficulty: 2/10 Time: 21 hours I've played quite a few LEGO games in the past, but I never really got the platinum with them, when I started this game I didn't expect to go for it but for some reason I had a feeling that I wanted the platinum, and well I did it and it was fantastic. So like the previous times it is time to give my thoughts about the game: The story was alright, it had many fun moments, but you can see that it's made for a younger audience. I do have to say that I really liked the voice acting and the cutscenes were pretty cool. Also "Everything Is Awesome" is a good song, I wouldn't listen to it outside of this but in the game I was jamming to the song. The characters were pretty cool, Emmet and Lucy were awesome, the blind guy was kind of funny, I did not like Superman and Batman in this game, however they were very useful, at least Superman was, I did replace Batman with Wonder Woman. Aside from that, all the extra characters (there are a lot were fun. And collecting them all was worth it. The gameplay was simple but fun, obviously the combat was super easy, but the other stuff like the hacking minigame, the dancing minigame (I wish that there was more) and all the character specific actions were awesome. It really shows how much thought they put into all the stuff. Now the 100%, it was the part that I did dread, but nah it was fun. Collecting the characters was very straightforward. The red bricks were in my opinion the most important collection, they obviously make the gameplay even easier, but the collectable finders and the stud multipliers were life savers, I thought that they were insane for making the player collect 1,000,000,000 studs, but it was honestly super easy. I had some trouble with the Golden Manuals, obviously the ones on the slide kind of sucked but I also had a few times that they wouldn't spawn so I had to retry some levels, but honestly even that wasn't too bad, I did use a video guide for some of them, but most of them I found on my own. I do feel like I said everything I've said, I do hope that this is my first of many LEGO platinums because I had a lot of fun and I would like more. And this time I do have a platinum screenshot, I like it a lot:

Popular Post Starrk_01
Plat #257: Like a Dragon: Ishin! My last Yakuza game for awhile and the longest plat time for a Yakuza game since Yakuza 5. The game itself isn't difficulty (even doing the final battles on Legendary wasn't as hard as what I thought it was going to be), but that equipment grind to get 100% completion wasn't fun. The worst was the Last of the Dragon Sword which needed the following items/requirements: 1. Beat the superboss just to get the base weapon (technically twice). 2. 20 Eye of Dragons 3. 20 Dragon Whiskers 4. 20 Dragon Talons 5. Kill 100 people with the base sword (you don't learn this until you try to smith the sword). 6. This isn't for the normal blacksmith; go to the magical blacksmith (at least it doesn't cost any money). So 1, 5, and 6 aren't a big deal. However 2, 3, 4 will probably take hours to accomplish as these are only drops in the game, so imaging playing the same dungeon over and over again where not every enemy drops an item, and the pool of possible items dropped is 10-15 items. Yeah this took me probably 10 hours by itself. Don't get me wrong...I enjoyed the game and the platinum experience, but the grind/luck gods could have been nicer.

Popular Post ClankToThePast
81 - From Space Rarity - 10% DLC - 4% Visually silly, and very, very pink, From Space is an indie action game in the same vein as Alienation and the like. It was decent fun, but it doesn't break any new ground or stand out from the crowd in its genre. Be aware if you're looking for a quick platinum, you won't find it here. Reaching level 30 in story mode is a decent grind, but the true slog is the multiplayer. You can play solo through it all, but the more players you you have in your party, the faster you level. Unfortunately, you need to reach a "prestige" level of 26 (similar to CoD games), which means leveling up to level 5 26 times. And with the online basically an empty wasteland, it takes a long time to reach that goal.
Popular Post JungleCat20
Milestone Platinum 4,300 The Jedi Survivor As in the first game, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, I thought the collectibles were overdone, but I liked the story, combat, and exploration. Some of the "Force Tears" were a combination of both skill and rage. None of my PS5 Controllers were harmed in the playing of this game, though.
Popular Post AK-1138
Platinum #785: A Short Hike Difficulty: 2/10 Playtime: 2-3 hours Oh wow, gang... that no-good jewel-fencin' thug Joey Minaldi ain't always right, but when he's right... he's right. Y'know, in purely chronological terms, a Moe Greene Special really should be known as a Joe Minaldi Loupe... oh well. ...Now, it doesn't happen too often, but every now and then, ya take a chance on a game you've watched friends and acquaintances play in your peripheral vision, and fulfills a sufficient amount of criteria your Hunting instincts desire at a given moment... and it turns out PRETTY HECKIN' SPECIAL and stuff. And what makes for speciality of a pretty hecktacular aspect in this day and age I shall now deign to eludicate upon... or something? A Short Hike is exactly what it says on the tin... which makes it all the more mind-boggling that such a brief trek turned out a more satisfying and fulfilling interactive televisual experience than scores of recent games that boast exponentially higher playtimes. Like Lester Moore said before he took them six slugs from that .44, "less is more." RIP, Les... the world is a lesser place without ya. So this is the story all about a shy and sweet bird girl named Claire and her daunting quest to find cell phone reception on a utopian resort type island filled with wonders and secrets and stuff like that there. But for what purpose? Sorry, the not-knowing is in this case rather inextricably essential to this here experience, so you'll just plain have to make your own Short Hike to find out. You'll........... SHORTchange yourself if you don't. Muahahahah, just call me... DAPUNZEL! Or don't, since that would increase your chances of becoming an incurably Cheesy Boy like yours truly. To summarize a simple game in simple terms... ASH is an open-world platformer that comes on like an actionized Animal Crossing that nonetheless deftly dodges derivativeness. Claire's trek up to the Tip Top of the Not-so-Huge Island can be completed without much fuss, but that would be missing the point... and not just because the Hunt demands you fully explore the island and its bevy of fun and wacky activities. We're talkin' parkour races, speedboating, trezer hunting... and not to mention the glorious game of BEACHSTICKBALL, which is sure to take the place of the mudshark in your mythology! Oh boy, Sora and his islander pals are kicking themselves for not having come up with it... hmm, actually, BEACHSTICKBLITZBALL might well be even better! Helping cute animal people take up arms against their sea of troubles and, in opposing, end them, is liable as not to reward you with a humble and radiant GOLDEN FEATHER... which function as a kind of stamina meter of sorts, expanding your ability to flimb and cly... and maybe improve your karaoke ability too, who knows? They really do provide an excellent feeling of progression, allowing for true navigational mastery of your closed loop surroundings... the minimalist and memorable layout of which really comes to the fore when you find yourself able to intuitively fly from one "end" to a specific area in another in a matter of seconds. Hey, it's a cheaper and less risky way to fly than mescaline, at any rate. There is, of course, a litany of chortles to be had from the goofy and likeable script, borne largely of a canny knack for quickfire characterization in lieu of overuse of the crutch of one note hackiness that metatextual comedy has become in recent times. In place of my usual inevitable fatigue with NPC dialogue was an excited exhortation to learn all about the quirks and foibles of the islanders... and that's just plain unusual. In a nice way that is nice. It really was an ideal kind of Hunt, too: the sort that rewards you for seeking out challenges and experiences rather literally off the beaten path. The few trophies that demand a minute bit of extra skill and effort ultimately add some enervating spice to the otherwisely pervasive vibe of selfless egalitarianist chillness that we could do well with trying to embody on planes of existence outside of digital girlbird platforming. It also marks maybe the only time I'll ever randomly stumble upon a system clock-determinant trophy of its ilk, so that's fun too. Now, I'm a little split on my biggest misgiving... you see, a lot of games these days either leave me wanting much, much more, or--as is more likely--much, much less. By the well-established framework of the Baby Bear Porridge Principle, in almost every applicable aspect this game is Just Right... but especially due to some emotional depth I wasn't expecting from what looks like an upscaled DS game, I still also feel a little bit like they could have gone just one touch further in this regard during this brief yet spiritiually edifying few hours in paradise. But on the other hand, maybe the wanting more is part of its power. Just a big ol' greedy ol' home invadin' Goldilocks, I guess... Oh well, never fully satisfied. That's human nature for ya... even if you're a freakish penguin human hybrid type person! The catchy and lovable music, boasting an all-time leitmotif of the idiom, is just the Chuddle Dollop atop this contrived metaphor that does, for all its typically overwrought verbosity, struggle to adequately summarize this experience of pure heart and artisanship. So why don't you go take a Hike... and be utterly dazzlepated at the inexplicably fumbuzzling relativism of humanity's perception of time and substance, and stuff! And if thou diggeth not these chill vibes... prithee, another type of hike shouldest thou take. Final Score: 8/10
Popular Post GothGirlMaxine
On The Road (PS4) Platinum rarity: 1.98% Completion time: 300 hours Difficulty: 2/10 The PlayStation's answer to "we have ETS 2 at home", On The Road takes you on incredible journeys across Germany, delivering pallets, pigs and more! While the game is not the best simulator out there, it's probably the best long-distance trucking simulator we will see on PlayStation. I might do the PS5 stacks someday if I'm feeling brave but for now, that's me done with trucking across Germany. She says as she's downloading the PS5 version while typing this post. Anyway, another UR platinum and a few UR trophies for me.

Popular Post ozymandias1994
This is my third InFamous platinum. Game is fun, wreck havoc on the streets of New Marais might occupy you for 10-15 hours, but story is short, lack some interesting bosses (bosses in general) and city activities. The biggest advantage of game is side missions, quite a lot of them are funny and not lengthy. The biggest problem is parkour and everything related to it. Cole always trying to stick to something, ledges, streetlights, windowsills etc. It really annoying, it has let me down many times when I wanted to be nimble and hide from enemies. UGC servers situation made me a little nervous. But now they are finally alive, every trophy is achievable. 70 | Difficulty 4/10 | Rarity 16.49%

Popular Post Mr_Fluffy_Pants_
253 - Metal Gear Solid (PS5) I had owned this game as a young kid for ps1, so I’ve always had lots of nostalgia and fond memories of it. Playing through it now though I quickly realized that my entire lives recollection of this game was only from the opening section LOL as after the first half hour or so I didn’t remember a thing. Funny how nostalgia works sometimes, about 30 minutes of gameplay had somehow given me 25 years of nostalgia and good memories. However playing it now for the first time in its entirety (twice) I have to say it still holds up really well, I love the humour and gameplay and it’s truly a testament as to why Kojima is so beloved. I truly enjoyed the main game, but what I didn’t enjoy however were the VR missions. Having to complete every one of the 300 VR missions for a single trophy was horribly boring and tedious. I could only manage to play a few every day and because of that this platinum took me about 6 weeks to complete. I am glad I stuck it through to the end though, as I have always loved this game and always wished it was available with trophies so, it’s one I will always look back on proudly on my trophy list. This is definitely one that I wish had a save transfer or auto pop option though, as I don’t believe I will ever bring myself to do those 300 VR missions again. ~ Can’t wait for Death Stranding 2 ~

Popular Post RylahPlatin
Milestone Platinum #50 [Elden Ring] Total Playtime: 72 hours Difficulty: 6/10 Enjoyment: 9/10 PSNP Rarity: 38,46% (Uncommon) Elden Ring My 50th milestone platinum and I was looking for a special game to take on the occasion. With the imminent release of the DLC and the great reviews this game has been getting, I thought the 2022 game of the year would be a good one. And to make a long story short - it was. I've already played Bloodborne and Sekiro - so this wasn't my first Fromsoftware game. Exploring the huge open world and various dungeons was super fun and pretty much necessary to get runes, equipment and upgrade materials. I tried to explore most of the maps and locations to get good stats and gear for the hardest bosses in the game. It was very positive that there was only one missable weapon in the game - otherwise everything trophy related can be collected at any time. The game has 3 different endings that are required for trophies. Fortunately, you can upload your game to the cloud and get all 3 endings (if you've done the necessary steps) in the final boss room. I played a Dex/Stregth build the hole game through. Never even touched magic or spells. I just like it simple - a big sword is all I need. The build felt pretty good the hole game through - so it was a lot of fun fighting and staggering enemies. I was able to almost clear every dungeon and boss in the current region I was exploring. The only things I avoidet where Crucible Knight (just not fun as melee) and Bell-Bearing hunters (the often felt way to overtuned and I didnt bother to come back later). Before the last boss I managed to get to level 181 - which overall took me around 72 hours. After finishing the game and beating most of the bosses my favourite bosses where: Dragonlord Placidusax Shardbearer Radahn Rennala, Queen of the Full Moon My final stats after beating the game: The end of the journey Platinum Screenshot after about 72 hours Next Up for #51 ⬇️
Popular Post mega-tallica
#275 - Grid Legends + 100% Enjoyment: 4/5 - Always been a big fan of Codemasters, the Dirt and Grid series are staples for racing games. Aside from NFS, they're really the only two other arcade racers out there. When it comes to racing games, they're all the same really. What separates the good from the bad is how the cars handle and Codemasters always nails it. Every car has unique handling and handles exactly the way you expect it to. The Stadium Trucks handle like crap because they handle like crap in real life too. Jumping into a different car with a different discipline keeps the repetition fresh although, per usual with racing games, it does naturally get grindy after a certain point. I played mostly on expert just because normal is too easy. I don't how anybody could play this game on easy and not get bored with it. But when you play on an appropriate difficulty to your skill level, it's a very good game and very fun. Many claim this game is bland and boring and for those folks I say to up the difficulty because you're probably playing on easy if you say that. On easy you're literally lapping the field every single race and it takes all the fun and difficulty out of it and just turns it into one big grind. The AI is pretty well programmed as well, no rubberbanding which is such a huge relief as that has no place in any racing game whatsoever in my opinion and on expert, the AI is challenging enough as it is that you don't need rubberbanding to add artificial difficulty. Decent variety in tracks and disciplines, the only thing I didn't really like was the fact upgrades for cars were locked behind how many miles you drove in them which can turn into a grind real quick if you don't plan accordingly and drive the cars you need to drive to accumulate miles efficiently. There's a Mechanic Pass you can buy which lessens the miles needed for upgrades but the problem there is its behind a paywall which is certainly a problem considering they almost surely made the game grindy in that regard to entice people to buy the Mechanic Pass and lessen the grind needed. If you're going for 100% and all DLC, you get the Mechanic Pass as part of the upgrade so you end up buying it regardless. Difficulty: 2.5/5 - Entirely depends on what difficulty you play on. Easy and normal are 1/5 difficulty, no challenge whatsoever for the base game at least. Expert is more like 2.5/5 which is what I played on for most of the game. The only real challenge this game provides as far as trophies go are the Time Trial trophies in the DLC and the 1,000,000 drift score in the Winter Bash DLC. This is entirely skill dependent and can make-or-break your 100%. 3 out of the 4 time trials are easy and you'll beat them without much effort but the San Francisco time trial in the Plymouth will test your skills. I'm fairly good at racing games so I got it within a few attempts but others do have an extremely hard time with this one. The 1,000,000 drift score trophy I had a much harder time with and took an hours worth of runs to finally get it. Once you understand and learn how to keep your combos up down the straightaways to rack up a high score fast, it becomes very doable with practice. But it's certainly one of those trophies that seems impossible at first glance. My first 3-4 runs I was barely breaking 250k, nowhere close to a million but with practice and memorization of the track, you start stringing together longer combos and ultimately bigger scores and it starts to get within reach and then you finally get that perfect run. Still quite a challenge, the only true challenging trophy in this whole game in my opinion.
