Popular Post slender_adrian
#145 Difficulty: 5/10 Enjoyment: 9/10 Grind: 3/10 Time: 93 Hours Rarity: [Ultra Rare 2.7% / Rare 13.27%] "The reunion is nothing to fear." The original Final Fantasy 7 it's just one of the best videogames ever made. Look if by any chance you haven't played it or if turn based games aren't your thing, I highly recommend it, it has a magnificent story and ost, the most memorable characters and one if not the best antagonist in games, so how do you do a remake of that? A remake of a game that is consider legendary. Well this is the biggest remake ever, but it's the best one? In my opinion the best representation of a remake so far is Capcom's Resident Evil 2, FF7 Remake is pretty good but it has its flaws depending on who you give the game too, for me the things I didn't like or that at least the things I don't buy are the generic stuff they are throwing in, not just on the gameplay side of things also on the story writing, and the constant lingering of Nomura's Kindgom Hearts nonsense, I can smell KH miles away, and I like KH but KH NEEEDS TO STAY IN KH. FF7 Remake is not bad, in fact is pretty good, seeing how amazingly good Midgar and all the characters look is mind blowing, this game is a technical marvel. As for the story, I don't mind that change in story, unless it goes the generic shonen route, and it doesn't bother me that Square is making multiple games from the original game. As I said, this game looks beautiful, is a work with a lot of heart for the original game, but being honest Nomura should keep his nonsense in KH and only there. One thing that disappointed me about this game was that they tone it down a lot, always minimizing the actions of everyone, the original FF7 story beneath all of the humor has very edgy and dark themes and moments, even horror moments, hell even FF9, the most chibi and tender looking FF had more balls than FF7 remake, but I get it.. different times. But the moment where this game did disappoint me a lot and I mean a lot was when I saw how bad they screw up one of the best moments of the first disc and the original game, I'm talking about the moment when you see what kind of monster is the katana guy, and I was really looking forward to this moment. I think the worst part of the game are the last 2 chapters, especially 17. Despite my complaints, I still think this is an incredible game but I can understand why some og fans are not pleased with the remake. The ost was something different, the new orchestrations of the old tracks are good but some other tracks feels very forgettable in my opinion, the original ost is legendary so I'm not surprised with this. Still, I had tons of good hours with this remake and a what's important a lot of fun playing it, and I liked my fanservice. I will always recommend playing the original first and then the remake. The Final Fantasy 7 Remake trophy list is nothing to special, very standard trophies. Basically collectibles, side quests, grinding, hard mode and that's it. On my first playthrough I got basically most of the trophies, in this playthrough I missed only 2 music disc on my own, they are pretty easy to collect and beside you always have chapter select to get anything you missed. I highly recommend getting every trophy before going to Hard mode so that you can only focus on the story and don't bother with anything else. One of the trickiest part of the plat can be the VR battles, especially the last 2, Malboro and the Pride and Joy, but this battles comes down to one thing and is good preparation, having materia maxed out is key here. I defeated Malboro on my first try and Pride and Joy on my 2nd attempt. This plat was fun, the only tedious trophy was the dress one, I was kinda worried about hard but if you go well prepared is pretty much easier than the original playthrough, there where only to bosses that took me 2 tries, Abzu and Long Katana guy. Very fun plat!!! I still can believe that the platinum for the original FF7 is easier hahaha. I'm really looking forward seeing how the FF7 project will end! Popular Post Ceridane
› MELTY BLOOD: TYPE LUMINA # 71 Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment 8/10 Time for platinum: 8 hours Its strange the rarity of this game is close to 10% because its a really short and easy fighting platinum. I would have expected something in the range of 30 ~35% I enjoy it very much because of how straightforward the platinum is. You pretty much need to beat story mode with 14 characters to unlock rush boss mode and spend the in game currency to buy a bunch of stuff. Best part is the set only have one online trophy in the list and also my favorite type: play an online game 🤣
Popular Post Prince-Varuni
Final Fantasy 8, my 40th, I did enjoy the game itself but the junctions, switching those same junctions (And losing them forcing me to have to do it again) was quite frustrating. Omega was annoying to beat as well, but hey, I did it, and it's finally done. Joins Final Fantasy 1-7 and 15 in the platinim list.

Popular Post Moridin83
#304 Chicken Police I had been vaguely interested in this for a while, and I saw it's leaving plus in April, so it was now or never. I ended up liking this a lot more than I expected. It's a point and click detective adventure, with the twist that everyone has animal heads. It's just as weird looking at it sounds, but it works for the game. The story is decent detective/noir faire, and I appreciated the character interactions. A guide is sort of necessary for the plat, since some collectibles need to be gotten on the same run, and can be pretty obscure. Luckily the one on PST is very good and relatively spoiler free. Just make sure you use the additional forum guide for the questioning, since apparently a patch changed some right answers. The only annoying trophy is shooting the lights out on a car, and that's mainly due to controls. All in all, I had a lot of fun with this game, and you can easily clear it in a weekend, or even a long day of playing. Check it out before it leaves plus if you can, definitely recommended.

Popular Post red_berin
Darkest Dungeon The Iron Crown - Collect all trophies (Platinum #40!) I can't believe I finally got this plat. I first played this game back in 2019 and greatly enjoyed it. Due to the difficulty, I didn't imagine that I'd ever platinum it. Since then, I got more interested in trophy hunting, and the Platinum Difficulty Challenge inspired me to pick this back up again. This plat is currently my rarest, and I am proud of it.

Popular Post BubbleJayGum
Platinum trophy #139 - Demon's Souls (PS5) Slayer of Trophies I've got mixed feelings about this game. Never played the original one on PS3, so my only expectations was that typical soulslike experience where every battle is a real test of your patience. Really dug the level design, especially the castle in World 1. Plus, all those tight spaces were pretty cool - made the fights feel even more intense. But that world/character tendency stuff? This mechanic made totally zero sense to me. Just made the whole platinum journey annoying as hell. Platinum trophy #140 - The Order: 1886 (PS4) The Grail This game is pretty basic, but man, the graphics blew me away, I was very surprised by those visuals. This game came out 9 years ago, lolwut? It looks better than a lot of the new stuff. Voice acting was also superb. But apart from that, yeah, it's kinda generic with not much going on in terms of mechanics and variety.

Popular Post CracK061196
God of War 2018 PS4 Platinum #8 Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 Hours Played: 36 Hours "Father and Son" As my first God of War game I am impressed. I installed this game last year and played for few hours and quit. But apparently it has a slow start and I wanted to give it another chance. And here I am, 36 Hours later I have only good words for God of War. Nothing was specially hard but as always only first read guide and then go for the Platinum. Story was great, graphic also and a lot of stuff I liked. Of course chasing Ravens and Artefacts was not so fun but it's also not so hard and it's kind of fun. I would only love that this game has a bit more easier fast travel but later in the game I learned a lot so it was going faster. I was so afraid of Valkyries, but with a good build and some skill it's easy to achieve.
Popular Post ZephyrEvo
Dragon's Dogma 2 Had a blast chasing this platinum. Game absolutely consumed all my free time these past weeks. Above are the stats from my first playthrough. Speedran and cleaned up the rest of the trophies in NG+ which took about another 15ish hours. Popular Post Thrillhelm
#3525 Blood Bowl 3 (PS4 version) Difficulty 5/10 Time to plat 40+hrs (shortcuts possible) Fun 4/10 After the PS5 platinum I went to the PS4 version, thankfully a less grindy experience since my progress got saved online, so I had an experienced Chaos Chosen team for the campaign. Still ended up with 40+ hours because getting three kills in one match vs AI, unlike on PS5, seems to be impossible. RNG is infuriating as in all Blood Bowl games (you're definetly not blessed by Nuffle), especially with this trophy. So I changed tactics and went on using a second console to rig a match in my favor - three kills versus a Skaven team happy to die, took 15 minutes. Do not bother going for this trophy against AI, in fact just steamroll through the 12 faction trophies rather than having a one hour long match against a braindead AI. They also added custom teams, meaning you can create a maxed out team of level 7 players with all the advantages, saving you a lot of grind and frustration. These teams can be used in tournaments (if you allow them as host), but not in the campaign. Its still the soulless cash grab of a game that took tons of content away from its predecessor, the far superior experience. The campaign lacks any funny or memorable moments Blood Bowl 2 had (like the in game hosts joining your team), you still have the same bugs like the AI freezes when you are about to intercept a pass (which never happened in Blood Bowl 2 for the AI never attempted a pass yet still managed to be a bigger challenge), and even four season passes in you still have half the races. So if you really want to plat this game, breeze through it with a second console or a partner, and use custom teams. Platinum can be done on a weekend or in a frustratingly legit way, you decide. Blood Bowl 2 takes about the same time thanks to its updates and is the far superior game. Lifetime service did this franchise no favor.
