Popular Post Biertje373
Platinum #98 LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean All hands on deck! Fun: 8/10 Diffictuly: 3/10 Suddenly I was in the mood to play another LEGO game, but I did not know which one I wanted to play next (yes, I want to play more of them) and after much thinking I went with Pirates of the Caribbean. And I think that I made the right choice. Here are my thoughts: Re-experiencing these movies in the LEGO way really made me smile, it did make me realise that I misremembered or just didn't remember stuff. Like I don't remember 80% of the characters, in my mind there are only 3 movies (which I am obviously wrong about) and I just don't remember a lot of the events. It makes me want to watch all movies again to bring back memories. This platinum felt quite a bit harder than the platinum I got with LEGO Movie, not because the challenges were harder, because I still remember that slide from LEGO Movie, but there was a lot more specific stuff like playing as all the extra character, having every character (that's able to) walk on the bottem of the water and riding every type of animal. While the animal one was pretty straightforward, the other ones could be pretty annoying if it wasn't for the guide. There was also one level that just was a pain in the arse, not to play, but getting 100% on the Brethren Court was not my favourite part of the game. Aside from that, completing the game was fun, the Red Hats are once again the most important collectible, they're all important of course but the Red Hats makes collecting the other stuff pretty easy. Be it putting arrows on top of the collectibles are multiplying the studs, most of them are super important. Because I was streaming the game, I was wondering if I could play it with two controllers and I am so happy to find out that I can do co-op, it was not fun to play alone with two controllers, but hey if it works it works. Music is fantastic, what else is tehre to say about Pirates of the Caribbean music? And the trophy designs are really nice. Aside from that I don't have anything to say, I really liked this game and I am already looking forward to my next LEGO game.
Popular Post yellowwindow7
King of the Road / Jak X Combat Racing first time i played this game was way back when it's relased on the ps2, it was made by freaking Naughty Dog, Son. it's surely can be as good as Crash Team Racing righ? 😃 nope! it gave a really sour taste in my mouth, i don't even remember 100% it, i just forgot about it and never touch it ever again once i've beaten it. fast forward to 2020 i got the Jak and Daxter collection on the ps4 and jak X came in the bundle and there's a reason why i played jak and daxter, jak 2 and 3 all back to back in 2020 and skipped jak X all the way until four years later, and also i remembered why i hated this game back then. ask anyone what is the worst aspect of this game and the first thing everyone gonna mention is the Rubber Banding and this is 100% is true. the CPU will be glued on your car's tail as if you're pulling them with a chain behind you like a tow truck no matter how fast you are, and the moment you get blowing up ( which will happen a lots even with professional players ) you'll always gonna be sent back to 5th or last place right away. the weapon pick ups and spin outs and lose controls were all scripted, for the weapons the moment you outraced the CPU to the weapons pick up's line and everyone will be shooting heatseeking rockets at your hot ass immediatly after they pick theirs, then you gonna get used seen your car flying all the time turned into a pile of wrecked metal, and defense weapons are so useless! you can only block one attack but the CPU will armed all of it's racers with these rockets and the racers can shot them twice each. you go a bit too far and the CPU will be armed with this shit item which is the Peace Maker from Jak 2 that hunt the person in the first place, if you somehow avoide it another CPU will shoot another one at you, if the one been shot at you lost track of you halfway it will always gonna get back somehow to chace you until you'll be blown up or lucky enough to have a shield, you can also avoid it by slowing down so it will kill anyone else that took first place but sometimes this wont works too. as for the spins and bumps, your car despite how well it control it'll randomly keeps jumping as if it's step on a bump etc. or to flipping over with the worst physics possible or spin out randomly to face the wrong way or immediatly to straight hit the railing head first and get stack on the road like that.... ( if you survived not getting blown up by someone or by the collision with the wall ) also i recommend to not upgrade the Engine of your favorite ride at all, for some reasons the controls will be worsen and worsen every time you upgrade your engines and ironically you can still win 1st place even with an engine that you never upgraded at all, it's even pointless to upgrade the enging anyway as the CPU can easly catch up and even pass you completely by raw speed even with a fully maxed out Engine and Gearbox. the story of Jax X is one of the worst in the series, the Big Bad Guy is your typical Disney villain that hide among the crowds and you'll immediatly gonna spot them from the very start, somehow jak and his Close Friends who got stuck with him to race as a team or something to survive the event and pass it together ended up that they all wanna kill jak and trying to prevent him from winning first place to save their asses and the day... unless there's something i didn't get 😕 the platinum trophy is not that hard, it's just time consuming with the orb farming, also the game can be fun when you speed through the courses and take corners smootly by drifting but even that won't gonna last long with the A.I turning you into a hot metal fireball 10 to 20 time in one race. i heard someone said even ND themselfs admitted that they wished if they never made this game, i dunno if that's true or not but to me personally i considered this one of the worst jak game experience i played, though it's still a better game than Jak and Daxter the Lost Frontier. there are far much better Kart/Arcade racing games than this on the ps3, ps4 and ps5 even on the ps2 itself.... Burnout Paradise Remastered, Wipeout Collection, Sonic and Sega All Star Racing/Racing Transformed and even F1 Race Stars if you can still find a copy of it just to name a few.

Popular Post Phoenixofadranon
My is Metal Gear Solid 5! I really, really loved this game. To be honest the platinum is a little boring cause you have to do 157 side missions (always the same 5 categories of missions over and over) and basically play main missions twice (one for S rank and 1 for finish all missions tasks). You can of course try to get S tank and all tasks in 1 go, but I wouldn’t recommend it honestly. Someone says that In this game you gave to grind for materials to build nuke and all the mother base but I can assure you I haven’t grind nothing. Really 0 materials farming and I almost get the F.O.B to the maximum too! So you will have plenty you materials IF you play infiltration fob. You can play just the ones agains AI without invade a real player fob and you will have more then enough materials for literally everything without farming nothing. This game is awesome and if you played Peace Walker, you will love this. Enjoy!
Popular Post Starrk_01
Plat #262: The Messenger My last game I wanted to platinum before it was removed from PS Extra (also finished Last Stop and The Artful Escape). I was recommended this game from my brother and it was fun. There was a few frustrating parts including a couple of the bosses (I'm looking mostly at the DLC) but it was a classic 2D platformer. The music also felt nostalgic with its 8 bit soundtrack.
Popular Post Neef-GT5
#42 – Horizon : Forbidden West Difficulty – 4/10 Enjoyment – 8/10 Time elapsed – 100+ hours Horizon Forbidden West comes in my list of sequels unfortunately unable to match its elder, at several levels. Narrative first – Zero Dawn did propose an amazing story line, that kept me deeply involved until the very end. After every main mission I couldn’t wait to unravel an extra layer of the mystery around that Zero Dawn project and how it had somehow saved mankind’s day – or not. I wouldn’t go as far as saying that Forbidden West’s plot is failed: it actually manages to bring interesting additions to the gaps left open by the previous opus, but it simply never caught me like Zero Dawn’s had managed to. Gameplay next – Forbidden West simply does not bring any relevant addition and only manages to over-complexify the formula set by its predecessor. Among the weak points that have not been solved (if not worsened), the very linear exploration: climbing becomes quickly frustrating due to a lack of coherence between some parts that can be climbed on and others that cannot, just because computer says no… A bit of a shame for an open world. I will also mention the skill upgrades system, awfully messy as split in 6 trees with a lot of abilities that are often dispensable. More generally, the interface is not great and one will sometimes have trouble to quickly select a specific gear or asset. But the worst of all is the constant backseat from Aloy, sometimes overly aggravating and with no possibility to choose whether to delay or remove those constant clues that are being thrown at the players face… In terms of structure, this second Horizon opus is quite an usual, Ubisoft-friendly open-world with its truckload of question marks hiding various kinds of secrets to uncover, many of them being quite dispensable when not deeply shallow, truth be told. Here again, the devs are just bending to the current stream of filling their game as much as possible, even at the cost of their own game’s coherence – I’m busy saving the world for crying out loud, I don’t have time to play chess, learn cooking or whatever other mini-game popped to your mind! The arena challenges are an exception as they are teaching advanced fighting techniques, but the rest is just here to tick boxes in the chart of the standard 21st century AAA game. Yet this open-world remains the game’s greatest asset: it is stunningly gorgeous, full of life, with amazing, varied landscapes. More generally Forbidden West is technically flawless, with great animations and hardly any performance issues, even on PS4 (I’m playing on a PS4 Pro). I will only regret the endless loading times that make fast travel tedious, but this is not something I can hold to the game itself and for having tried it on a PS5, what amazed me was far more the lightning-quick loading screens than the gaps in terms of framerate and graphics. The bestiary is also a major asset of the game; it proposes an enhanced variety of enemies, machines and humans, with an amazing work done on animations and patterns. Each type of foe will have its own way to be handled and multiple strategies (quiet, tanky, long-range…) are always possible. Unfortunately, here again, humans foes remains just as dumb as Zero Dawn’s and fighting machines will be far more interesting and rewarding, particularly as the developers have significantly enhanced their variety. That being said, melee fight tend to quicky become fairy messy due to the unability to lock targets, quite amazing such a basic feature is still missing… All in all Forbidden West is not a bad game, far from it, but is fairly disappointing as a sequel – I sure would have appreciated it more if I hadn’t played Zero Dawn before. As a third opus in the future is almost certain (anyone having played it until the end will agree) I can only hope Guerilla will try to revisit the formula by focusing on the core assets of their game, instead of burying it under countless layers of shallow features.

Popular Post MidnightDragon
#119 Star Wars Episode I: Racer A very fun racing game. It's based on podracing. It's pretty easy except for a couple of tracks and the AI is pretty forgiving. This game was originally released for N64 and it shows, but it's still a lot of fun to play. You can upgrade your podracer to make it easier to win races. As you win races, you unlock more racers. I used Ebe Endecott, who is unlocked from the start, for everything except for trophy reasons and it worked out pretty well, but it really comes down to personal preference on who you think is best. I would definitely recommend it. Platinum shot

Popular Post nyx770
#99 Not sure what i think of this game . The setting was creepy. Story semi predictable. Gave me some flashback of Firewatch with the whole walkie talkie radio vibe reporting to another everything going on . Something different to take a break from other games. I think i enjoyed it as i didnt want to stop playing it at any point . Weird , bit creepy and sad story .
Popular Post OmriStyle27
#81 - Last Stop (PS5) - All Done Unlock all trophies ------------------------------ I wanted to play this game only because i saw a youtuber (Mystic) play it in a 30 platinum in 30 days challenge and he really recommend it. and yeah he was not wrong , the game starts pretty slow but by the later chapters it's a lot more interesting and really crazy how this story turns out. even tho this game has some major plotholes , and your choices throughout the game doesn't matter at all expect from a few choices at the end of the game (which was really disappointing) i still enjoyed the game nonetheless and i do think it's worth the experience. i really wish they will do a prequel to this game to give a bit of back story on some of the characters. Popular Post Terra
#214 Who Pressed Mute on Uncle Marcus? (PS5) Difficulty 1/10 Enjoyment 7/10 This is another FMV title developed by the great Wales Interactive. In this title, you play as Abby who is tasked by her supposedly eccentric Uncle Marcus to find out who poisoned him at the annual family's quiz night. The game plays like a typical FMV "Choose Your Own Answer" with two or more dialogue options available to select at certain points in the story. The game is unfortunately rather short, and with a walkthrough, can be beaten in under 3 hours which is a real shame because I really wanted to find out more about each and every one of the family members (especially Aunty June). The characters are extremely well acted and are very believable, all of them portraying a picture perfect example of a dysfunctional family. Again, I wish the game was longer and had more endings so I could really have the chance to learn more about the family. If you haven't played any of the Wales FMV titles and are looking for somewhere to start, I can't recommend this enough.

Popular Post Biscoito18
#261, #262 - Tibetan Quest: Beyond the World's End Platinum Enjoyment: 4/10 Difficulty: 2/10 Typical puzzle game from Artifex Mundi but this time categorized as Quiz/Trivia, so great for those who, like me, were looking for a quick and easy game to fill this category for the Plat Every Genre Challenge. I couldn't help but notice the drop in quality compared to previous games like Hidden Objects puzzles repeating the same objects several times, for example. #263 - Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion You did it! Enjoyment: 7/10 Difficulty: 2/10 Very funny and creative game. It's so relaxing to shred documents like a maniac without any worries. I hope the second game doesn't take long to arrive on PlayStation. #264 - TOEM And that completes the list! Enjoyment: 10/10 Difficulty: 2/10 I think this is the best cozy indie game I've played. A lot of charisma, simple graphic style that pleases the eyes, good jokes, cute characters and creative solutions. It's a complete package! The only bad thing about TOEM is that it ends. Good thing I still have to complete the DLC. #265 - Martha is Dead San Casciano Enjoyment: 7.5/10 Difficulty: 2/10 I liked it a lot more now than the first time when I got the plat of the PS4 version a few years ago. The excess of exposition and revelations in the final chapters is overwhelming, so I was able to understand and feel better the impact of many events by knowing in advance what was really happening. If LKA's previous game, "The Town of Light", is about the dehumanization of psychiatric treatments of yore, "Martha is Dead" is about the danger of leaving these people without treatment. There was no way out of that nightmare at that time.

Popular Post geunc
#178 - The Complex (PS5) Difficulty: Very easy Enjoyment: 5,8/10 Time: 3-5 hours I would not recommend this fmv game if it were not for the platinum, a game barely has a little more than 30 decisions to choose from and most of them are irrelevant (Late Shift is much better), the story is average and the only things that can be highlighted are the role of the actors and the settings, despite having different endings, many scenes are repeated during the game. #179 - Exit Slum 11 (PS5) Difficulty: Very easy (with guide) Enjoyment: 5/10 Time: 15-30 minutes with guide, hours without it The idea of the game is this... rules are simple, if you observe an anomaly, something out of place or something not seen before run back where you started. Otherwise, keep running to the exit. When you reach exit 11, you'll manage to escape from this nightmare. The best thing about the game is the graphics, totally photorealistic, best looking exit game so far on PS5. In each attempt, some change may or may not appear in the playing area. The problem with this game is that while some differences are clearly visible, others are almost imperceptible (I think there are 23 in total), which makes luck count a lot when it comes to escaping, if you reach the end and there was a difference then you will go back to exit 1 but if you go to back to the beggining and there was no difference the progress does not restart, this for me is the second error of the game, for those 2 reasons I only give it a 5, it's a shame because the idea was good with those realistic images, here is an example, it's really from the game.
