Popular Post greggors95
Platinum 79- Star Wars: The Clone Wars I never got to play this the first time it was released on Original Xbox and Playstation 2. This was a fun short game and it's interesting to see what was the blueprint for the first Star Wars Battlefront games. I'll be honest the controls are a little bit janky at times and can take a while to get used to but once you get used to the different controls but once you get that it's really fun and quick game to play.
Popular Post Darghel
#221 Spirit Hunter: NG Difficulty: to be honest, I used a guide this time, because I wanted a relaxing game Time to Complete: About 17 hours (2.5 playthroughs) Recommended: Yes Total score: 7.5/10 So... the day I got my REmake platinum, my sister came to me for an offer I couldn't refuse: "Let's buy the next game, and we'll split the price". It was also on sale, and apparently, she really liked the previous game, so I thought "Eh, why not, I'd like that". So after I got my plat of REmake, I immediately installed this one and we started getting into it. And this time was...conflicting to say the least! Anyway, Spirit Hunter: NG (the letters are important in the game, so I can't spoil it) is a... spin-off! That's right, this game is not a sequel - there is a sequel, called Spirit Mark II, but I'm gonna wait for that one - and this time we have a different cast with a different set of rules, etc. This time we play as a young man called Akira and how he got into trouble by playing a game called "The Kakuya's Game", where he has to comply or else "he'll die". It is not as mysterious or desperate as the "death mark" from the previous game, but it has some interesting twists later on that make it "more than just a death game". But as a result, we have the usual spirits to hunt and purify (or destroy) and these demons are pretty interesting on their own, at least the later ones. I can't really get into the game much due to spoilers, but it does a good job at getting the plot going. But the problem for me is that I can't see if this game is worse or better than the previous game. For one, I liked the mystery revolved around the mark, and how you meet similar people in the same condition, making it a group effort. On the other hand, in this game, you already know who's behind it and you're the only one affected, while the others aren't in danger like you are, so it feels more like you're dragging people around rather than having a team effort. Another thing is how the roster is much smaller - 4 in NG vs 12 from DM - meaning that not only do you get to know them better - and have death scenes with pictures! - but you also get a better story. However, the protagonist is a lot less likable (in my opinion) than Yashiki from the previous game and he can get quite annoying in some early stages of the game. I also like how they made the game less cryptic in NG, the hints are better explained, and the game will tell you that doing certain things will purify OR destroy the spirit. But in return, they also made the game a lot more straightforward and less explorable - you even have a map this time, which is nearly worthless as you don't explore big areas like the first game. And lastly, I really enjoyed how the story in NG is tied together this time around, with the last spirits being somewhat tied to the main plot, making the mystery bigger and more exciting to know. However, some threads are pretty loose near the end and, in my opinion, the twist in DM felt better and more interesting. Bottom line, I struggle to see which one is better or worse: for one flaw one game has, the other fixes it, and viceversa, which I don't think it's a bad thing, but sometimes It made me miss the first game's protagonist. In other words, both completes each other, and that's why I gave this game the same score. As for the trophies, it's a little more complicated this time, as you have to do 3 endings (instead of 2) and they're a bit harder to obtain than the first, involving multiple people dying or only a few. Nothing too complex, but it does require at least one full playthrough from "the start" to get it done. First time took me about 12-13 hours to finish and you can skip most of it so it's not unbearable, but it will take some hours. Anyway, if you're into horror VN - and liked the previous one - you might like this one. It's easy - well I used a guide, but only because I wanted to relax before my impending business in the next weeks - and nothing too complicated to do. Give it a shot one day when it's on sale!

Popular Post insaneeeRob
Platinum Trophy Fallout Shelter Oh wow this really took 1 month and 4 weeks… When I started this game everything was going great until I had to stop upgrading my vault because of the 50 raider attacks and that one really took me a week to get all attacks… The 100 missions were not that bad cause I was doing like 2 a day and eventually popped. The 20 weapons trophy unlocked early for some reason and the rest of the trophies were not that bad. This game took me so much time than expected and waiting days for a single theme was soooo boring lol like I was already tired of Fallout Shelter but I finally unlocked everything and the platinum popped. Now it’s time to go back to GTA V. 🥴
Popular Post Elvick_ Posted yesterday at 02:08 AM Popular Post Share Posted yesterday at 02:08 AM Platinum #357 Resistance: Retribution (PS4) Retribution Paid Unlock all trophies in Resistance: Retribution Not going you too much about the game itself I already did when I did it on PS5, but this version has a ton of slowdown. At least playing on PS4 itself. I mainly picked it back up because I intended to do both eventually, but also because I noticed TrueTrophies had a target for getting a bunch of bronze, silver, gold and a plat expiring at the end of the month and this let me do that fast. Managed to get the gold E3 one too with some of these as well. Was fun mostly. Other than the slowdowns. Unlike Sly Cooper this didn’t let you disable the rewind at all. When I had issues with Sly disabling that made it run fine (again on PS4 natively). plus after idk 60-70 hours of Kingdom Hearts across PC, PS3 and PS4 I needed something quick and different. Only annoyance was getting the collectibles for the dlc trophy.
Popular Post MidnightDragon Posted yesterday at 04:57 AM Popular Post Share Posted yesterday at 04:57 AM #124 Assassin's Creed Rogue Remastered You can see what I thought of the PS3 version here. I enjoyed it the second time as well. I played this on my PS5 and seems to be all good. That being said, there were some weird graphical things and technical issues, but nothing game breaking thankfully. The grind did annoy me a bit at times, but pushed through it. The final legendary battle was just as frustrating this time around, but at least I got it done. Platinum shot
Popular Post Clocker045 Posted yesterday at 05:10 AM Popular Post Share Posted yesterday at 05:10 AM Katamari Damacy Reroll Platinum: Prince of Prince Difficulty:5 Enjoyment:6.5 Hours to plat: 43 hrs Not bad and it was fine the first few levels but as the difficulty ramped I found myself losing some of the leisure this drug trip offered. It's fun and if there wasn't a time limit I would treat this game as something relaxing as I roll up items and fix the mess the King made. It has some nice tongue in cheek moments with the humor and story. Trophies are straight forward but the hardest is getting every item with 1438 items overall. Most you roll up but specific items will have you looking up guides to see what question mark is eluding you. I am glad to put this game down and while it wasn't the challenge I was after, I still enjoyed getting this game off my backlog and game bucket list.
Popular Post Redgrave
#313: The Dragon of Dojima - Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name I bought Infinite Wealth and figured it as good as time as any to play this too so I can now be caught up whenever I decide to play Infinite Wealth. My understanding is this was supposed to be a DLC for Yakuza 7 but became its own thing and despite it not being very big it does have a fair amount of content even if it mostly takes place in Sotenbori and the Castle area. There is also the new combat style with the gadgets that I can see originally being intended for the turn-based combat of Y7, which in a way I feel like is kind of doubling down on the whole over-the-top and whacky side of Yakuza especially with the rocket shoes but they are fun to use at least. The story though also short also serves a nice bridge between Yakuza 6 to 8 and the ending hit pretty hard especially since the credits starts playing the piano version of Amazing Grace which feels like a callback to Yakuza 1. It was also cool seeing Kiryu's side of the dissolution scene that happens in Yakuza 7 and I love how the final boss fight is kind of like the one in Yakuza 5 where you are fighting through the Tojo Clan Headquarters only this time it's the Omi building. I definitely look forward to playing Infinite Wealth and seeing how all the events in that unfold and hopefully Kiryu gets something of a damn break. On top of constant emotional turmoil the man has been repeatedly shot, stabbed, and had to deal with tons of nonsense from the countless substories since at least 1988 with barely any time to settle down. The only other thing left is the trophies which pretty much everyone knows this is one of the easiest trophy lists for Yakuza because there isn't a Completion List or even a Legend Difficulty trophy. It is kind of interesting though since they definitely could have since there are the usual mini-games where they could have added a trophy for completing them all, including beloved Pocket Circuit. You don't have to but I did at least the Pocket Circuit events and I'm glad I did because there is something of a payoff when you beat all the rivals you can. The only real grind in this one is the Coliseum stuff but it isn't that bad. I actually liked the Hell Rumble thing even if I had a hard time hearing myself think with the party setup I had especially with Mr. Masochist constantly going "LET'S GOOOOO" every few seconds on top of the constant explosions and hitting sounds. That said if you've played the other Yakuza games this is a short but sweet experience especially if you went through Yakuza 0 all the way to 5 and for me I also include Ishin because no way would I have started this so soon if it were anywhere near that long. But it felt like a nice sendoff to a game where Kiryu is the main character, at least that's how it seems. Some of the callbacks were cool, like how one of the arena fights is where you fight robot versions of all the bosses Kiryu fought in the previous games and it plays their respective themes. I did it twice just to hear Fly and For Who's Sake.

Popular Post madrofus8
#125 - TIME to go Outside (Super Time Force Ultra) An old to-be-platted game of mine, which I was delaying thinking by the rarity of it that it'd be kind of difficult. Popular Post shadaik
Plat #162 - 100% 248 Hello Neighbor 2 True Journalist Prove your worth to Raven Brooks PS4 Originally, I planned to do these in order. But then I saw the first one has one trophy that takes 3.5 hours of just waiting for a tree to grow. And this was the wrong weekend for that. So, I'll do things out of order. Not like Hello Neighbor is a heavily plot driven series, right? Thing is, I'm not so sure anymore. We play an unnamed journalist on the trail of a case of child abduction. By going through a couple of buildings, avoiding the pople that live their and don't like trespassers in their homes, we get the keys we need to explore the house of the culprit and free his victim. Sounds more like police work then that of a journalist? Well, yeah, but we don't care for the sake of this game's story. And that story makes absolutely no sense at any step along the road. There are some layers of dreams/nightmares in here, but they make one wish for a more straightforward approach where it's way more obvious how many layers of dreaming there are. Like, say, Inception. Or any other Christoper Nolan movie. Or any other piece of media, really. It's confusing, there is no way to ever know where to go (thankfully, loading a save will always spawn you in front of the building you need to go to right then), and it's buggy, to boot. Twice in my playthrough, I saw enemies with AI stuck standing somewhere in the middle of a room, not moving until I do something really loud like breaking glass, which would startle the AI back into life. I wonder if it was dreaming of electric sheep, though... It all begins when we witness a child abduction. Fleeing the scene after being spotted, we crash into a barn. Apparently that really happened but we still wake up in our house afterward as if from a deam? And it seems the crime had also really happened, there is a house patrolled by police now, with "crime scene" banners and everything! Bear that in mind. Specifically this bear Maybe it all would make sense had I played the first game first, but I highly doubt it. We ultimately find the child in the attic and free him, but then stuff happens that stops the whole thing from resolving. The man, Mr. Peterson according to the outro, apparently has a different relationship to the child then we thought? And there is somebody else around, serving as a cliffhanger that feels like it's there just to advertise a third game? The ending frankly feels like there were pieces from several jigsaw puzzles laid out across th etable with no rhyme or reason and then suddenly, they all teleported into one fitting set, albeit the images on the pieces were still from completely different puzzles. Which does sound like an idea for an art piece, but not like a satisfying story. Playing without constantly referring a guide and with previously available exploits seemingly removed, the time this took went up from a reported 20 minutes to about 5 hours, which happens to be roughly the same time the first one would have taken me. I really should have played those two in the rght order. Just on the slim chance that would have actually helped make sense of this mess of a narrative encased in a game that is not all that bad, but lacking in direction. Maybe the DLC would help but frankly, I have no motivation to go ahead and try. I also can't recall anybody doing any journalism in this game Game: 5/10 List: 7/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Time: 5 hours
