smellslikejavier
Until Dawn - A Symphony of Horror Trophies -snip- everything that you found to be negative or annoying was designed to be that way, keep in mind that the whole game is just a parody/homage/satire of every horror movie, the predictable story, the unlikeable teen characters, etc is supposed to be that way since thats the premise of many horror movies, and the developers were just making a parody of all of their clichés. the cutscenes as well as the re-caps can't be skipped since the game is loading while they are playing, if you skip the cutscenes then you will have long loading screens instead, and also because like quantic dream's games is supposed to feel like an interactive movie, skipping the cutscenes will mean skipping 90% of the game and leaving the interactive movie feel behind. with that in mind the recaps are not unnecessary and the game wasn't conceived as an episodic game like telltale's games or life is strange, the recaps allows the game to load the subsequent scenes and the game also tries to resemble a horror/mystery TV series with them, in the same way other games like resident evil revelations 1 and alan wake did it and they weren't conceived to be released episodically. is just a way to make you feel like you are watching a TV horror series and a horror movie at the same time, and in case you stopped playing the game for some time then they allow you to remind you what happened last time, remember that the game gives more priority to the story rather than the gameplay. Popular Post xMissFantasy
85 BioShock 2 Unlocked all trophies Another masterpiece finally completed. Like the first BioShock, I still have DLC to complete but I'd rather finish Infinite now before I do that. Unfortunately, I don't have any DLC for Infinite so come September, that will be the only new thing I experience in the series. I really do hope one day they make another one. I'd buy it in a heartbeat. By far one of my favourite series.
Popular Post SirDave1988
# 60 - God Of War III Remastered (PS4) King of the Hill Unlock all trophies Yep, month #31 of 1 plat per month in a row, still going haha! I believe this is the first instance where I have earned the platinum on the remastered version of a game I have previously platted before. In this case, I have to say, the remastered version of God Of War III isn't really worth it if you've already played the game on PS3. There isn't a whole hell of a lot of difference to be honest, but it was still fun to play through it again nonetheless, despite Zeus on Hard, that was frustrating as hell after the 10th go at it haha! One weird thing, they did slightly adjust the trophies compared to the original release, I'm not sure exactly how, but I noticed the original had 36 and this has 35 total, weird , oh well. 7 God of War plats out of 9 (soon to be 10) earned in total, I think I may go for the complete set! Also, never thought I would get to 60 platinums total one day!

Yea, it was. Besides 2-3 hour grind for 50 Level. That was not cool. But at least fight with Evil Marty was Difficulty: 3 Enjoyment: 8 Edited July 4, 2016 by xPolydeucesx
Popular Post vjuchen
#53 Ether One - Validation This was my first PS4 game that I played on my PS4. I think it was boring all together. After you understand how exactly the puzzles work, you automatically run through the game without thinking. The story was okay and the end was a little bit surprising and sad. I like the fact, that they try to make people to understand the situation of people with this problem. So, altogether you need to like this game in order to enjoy it. But give it a try, hiding trophies is much easier now #54 Dust: an Elysian Tail - Mithrarin My second game on the PS4 and I have to say that I enjoyed it lots. The graphic design, the music, the story, the gameplay... It was great to play and challenging too. I did use the option to let someone else play the game to get 4 of the challenges done and I have to say thank you to zajac9999 again for helping me. I have to admit that he's way better in platforming games than I am. I would recommend it! That's the third part of my platinums I got lately... I just split them up to cheer myself up a bit, because I can't play at all atm
Popular Post Rollers23
#15 Odin Sphere Leifthrasir Great game from Vanillaware, looks and runs really good on Vita. What surprises me is that the original was released on PS2 in 2007 (I dunno what has changed since then, I haven't played PS2 ver) and it outclasses Muramasa and Dragon's Crown in every aspect. Don't get me wrong, I loved Dragon's Crown but Odin Sphere feels like an overall better game with its excellent story and gameplay.

Popular Post DamagingRob
#135- The Legend of Korra(PS4) Video Game Bender Got all other trophies. I bought this game, before I had even seen the show. :/ I loved The Last Airbender, though, so I figured I'd like Korra. I have since started watching it(about halfway through Season 3), and I was right. It's a fantastic series, like the one that came before. The game was pretty fun. I don't know why the critics were so harsh. The Plat can be fairly frustrating, though. Extreme mode, with the right equips, can actually be easier than Normal mode. But there's a certain section that is pretty damn tough, no matter what you have equipped. And that's the final Naga section.. It's tough, but doable. Worse than that, in my opinion, were the probending matches. I tried for 2+ hours to win the final one, and finally decided to put it off until I had maxed out my abilities. Which I wasn't aware made your team better at first, or I maybe could have saved myself a lot of time and frustration. After maxing them out, it was quite a bit easier. Got it on my 1st try, which may have been dumb luck. Or it really did make that much of a difference. I also had a different team in the finals, which possibly could have affected things. So yeah, good game. But expect a decent challenge, if going for the Plat. Edit: Almost forgot the Platinum image. :/ Edited July 4, 2016 by DamagingRob
Popular Post Sunflower
#46 - Zero Time Dilemma The first in the trilogy, 9 hours 9 persons 9 doors is my all time favourite DS game and one of my all time favourite games in general, so I was beyond disappointed when the third game wasn't being made after completing Virtue's Last Reward. However, I'm so so glad that the demand was enough for the developers to finally make the final game and oh maaaaan did it not disappoint! I don't really want to say anything because of all the spoilers, but what I will say is that if you haven't started the Zero Escape trilogy yet, please play it and definitely play the first two before ZTD so you'll fully appreciate and enjoy it. I'm actually pretty sad now that it's all over but over the last 6 years, I've thoroughly enjoyed my time with this series and I'm so glad I got to experience it.
Popular Post Ala-Arska
The Treasures of Montezuma 4 Platinum trophy Obtain all available trophies in game We built this ziggy on rock 'n roll. Jesus Mary and Joseph, this game is grindy. And then some The Treasures of Montezuma 4 is one of those "match three of the same color" type of titles, and I thought this would be a fun 'game between games'. What I didn't take into account was A: it's only fun like 2 minutes at a time, and B: I f**king suck at these games. I was pretty much screwed. Okay, so it did get easier once I got some upgrades to keep up good scores and once my skillz got madder. Fun, it never was. And that goddamn grind...I don't mind farming XP in RPGs, but this was something else entirely. Leveling up all the way to 100 took (dozens of) hours of my life. Hours that I'll never get back How many sunsets I missed because of this? Did I miss my chance to become the greatest hand model that ever lived, just because I never left the building to be discovered? Can I still dance with the Devil in the pale moonlight? Do people still exist? Have they started making Soylent Green already? Is it made out of people? Mysteries left unsolved, thanks to TToM4. Play it if you like tile matching games. Otherwise tell it to go block itself
Popular Post Dead Weight
#152 Zero Time Dilemma I said that Virtue's Last Reward's story was a mind fuck; well ZTD's story is also a mind fuck, to the 100th power! I do like the fact ZTD took a lot of different directions compared to 999 and VLR in terms of going cutscenes instead of visual novel and the darker art style. The escape rooms were also fun to play, not too difficult and not too easy.
Neku-tan
I dunno what has changed since then, I haven't played PS2 ver You have an option to choose between the new and classic mode (where the 2nd is from Playstation 2). Also, the OST has changed.
Popular Post minh2t
Platinum #77: Demon Gaze Global Edition Bought the game over a year ago and finally started playing it last week. I loved the game, the characters were pretty entertaining and interesting (Fran!!) and the combat system was fun too. This was my 2nd drpg and it's making me crave some more. I thought the bosses were pretty hard at first but with proper artifact, demon keys and setup; they all became pretty easy. Trophy-wise; Murasama grind... oh god. Took me 15-20 hours of farming to get both of them. All in all, great game I definitely recommend to jrpg/drpg fans, although expect some farming with a lot of luck involved for the 2 Murasama trophies. I probably will play either Operation Abyss New Tokyo or Moe Chronicles, anyone played those?
GTA_Darren
It is not a bad GOW game. Overall it is pretty easy and fun, there are some tough battles and 1 difficult challenge. Besides that, it is an easy platinum. #51 - God of War: Ghost of Sparta - PS3
Popular Post slash
#65 - Zero Time Dilemma Zero Escape: Collect all trophies I didn't really get into the Zero Escape series until pretty recently but I'm glad I did, considering that they tell some of the most compelling stories I've ever experienced in any entertainment medium. Zero Time Dilemma is the 3rd installment of this gripping tale of ethics, humanity, and even insanity. Much like the previous games, the primary gameplay is solving escape room puzzles and making some kind of agonizing choice afterwards. I personally had fewer problems with the puzzles in this game, but that's probably because of my experience with this franchise by now. Either way, there's a strong balance in the puzzles, giving you a sense of challenge and great accomplishment after you solve it. The choices, however, are where the game truly shines. This time, the stakes are higher since the choices aren't so binary. Multiple choices exist and it's your responsibility to discover which one will lead to the ultimate goal. Going into any more detail than this would already be going into major spoiler territory, so lips are sealed here The biggest change is that full cutscenes are rendered instead of a pure visual novel aesthetic. This really brings the characters to life and allowed new developers Chime to go for a MUCH more visceral approach. The cutscenes in ZTD go into some extremely disturbing moments that had me wide eyed and shaking. It's kind of amazing to see what they were capable of creating here. However, the animations are incredibly janky, especially with the lack of any kind of lip-syncing, regardless of what language you choose to listen to. Which is unfortunate because the voice-acting is fantastic (but for real, play the game in Japanese with English subtitles, it's superior ). Regardless, I still enjoyed this change and not once did I think ZTD truly suffered because of poor animation quality. Games with very focused ambitions overcome their shortcomings, and ZTD is still one of the finest experiences I've had with a video game. It's going to be hard topping this one as my personal Game of the Year for 2016. Edited July 4, 2016 by slash

Popular Post Donkrieg1011
Plat #49: Resonance of Fate Finally had time to finish this after buying it a year ago . This game has one of the most innovative battle systems I've seen in an RPG. The one thing I didn't like was the challenge rooms: 50 of them repeated 10 times each. Had to mute the TV and played some music to make it less boring. Still a great game though. It's on sale until Tuesday so grab it fast if you're an RPG fan
Popular Post lednatius
#31 Lord of Ironrath Really enjoyed it, though it was quite depressing. Had ubisoft-esque graphical glitches with Asher in episode 6 :/ . His face was just a crumpled up piece of skin colored paper for a sec, and then after that his hair was Black with weird shaped patches of grey for the rest of the scene at least. This made me want to watch the TV show though.#32 Trophy of Zeus First time actually playing through a GoW game, it was quite enjoyable. The challenge of the gods really got under my skin, but other than that it wasn't too difficult and was really fun. I plan to do others in the series soon-ish, I hope they don't get much harder than that. This is my 2000th trophy, I finally didn't screw up the trophy milestone count . #33, #34, #35 You've Gone Platinum! It was more fun than I thought it would be. A few of the Death mode levels gave me a similar amount of frustration as the challenge of the gods. 38% platinum is disgusting, i'll get/do the DLC eventually, need to save $ right now though.
