Me. It has been almost 9 years since my younger brother, without asking, put Brotherhood on my profile. 9 years of seeing that stain on my list, with so many locked Trophies. 9 Years of dreading the online. And, now, a year or two of worrying that Ubisoft will finally close the barely functional servers. Well, guess what? After getting my PS3 back on August 1st and first going online this Thursday or so, I'm now one bonus away from AEOTM (if you know that acronym, you know my pain). I also need to still unlock Role Model, which has glitched twice on me now. But Download Complete? Getting to the max level in the online? Done and dusted. I set up and ran two gaming sessions, one which didn't take off on Saturday and one which we fused with an existing Discord on Sunday. I was level 23 at 10 AM on Sunday morning, and by 6 PM that same day I finally reached level 50. And let me tell you, it was a slog; Ubisoft's servers are terrible in that they inexplicably refuse certain players to play in the same session, which is a death knell when you need six people to boost. The method involves splitting into two groups of three and stunning eachother over and over and over again until you get to 650,000 XP. For reference, each stun gives 300 XP..... But, with perseverance and some great guys (real chararcters too), quite a few of us popped Download Complete yesterday. I myself sat in the session for ten straight hours, eight of which were spent getting to lv 50 and the final two to just help the others out. We got disconnected, ejected, 'unreachable' errors, but we still saw it through. The number of times routers got reset and lobbies had to be remade must have reached the dozens, and the number of invites I've sent out as host must have gone over a 100. But it was all worth it, even if this is a lowly silver where it really should have been solid gold. What a complete pain. What a shit game. What an unnecessary tacked-on multiplayer mode. What an absolute **** of a younger brother. I can only thank the madlads at Ubi for keeping the servers up for this long, even if they have been complete garbage from the start. But, of course, most if not all the credit goes to all of my boosting friends @mikeandleanne12 xXCostdeathXx @celerydude @mangio_tanto @Desmond_Miles_75 @ZeeshanNasir7 @DamnedSky @Wakayama_PT @thebuf @corpsegrinder220 @westmingseven @blackbelt57 @Iqrahaq PepsiPunk100 And a few more. Dauersack Posted August 10, 2020 Share Posted August 10, 2020 Valkyrie: Beat Valhalla Mode Valhalla mode is insane, completely ridiculous, and yet somewhat entertaining to play despite being so over the top. Just when beating it with all available tools though, which is what this trophy is for. It will most likely be my last trophy for this game, as the other 2 gold turn Valhalla mode into weaponized anti fun, to the extend that the dev of this game publicly apologized for it on steam, and it truly becomes that bad. After failing for several hours and getting only 1/12 requirements, I decided that I wanted this trophy here instead to at least rip some gold out of this games cold, dead iron grip. Now I will try to go for the 2 hardest things of these other trophies respectively, Hagalaz no damage and Odin no God Powers. Plate Villain Earned 5 TECHNIKA 3 Plates. Dance of Death Cleared D2 2 times using D2 gear and notes. More progress made in DJMAX. Looking at the trophies last night, I think I actually might be able to plat the base game. Before I thought it was going to be one of those games I love but would just never plat, but as I've gotten better it's looking more optimistic. Now 100%?
