This games are classics, and I highly recommend playing them! Love the reference to Strider (both Strider and CD are by the same designer, Isuke) in the trophy name. This one is actually a challenge, since the last level will have checkpoints for once. My name is Kirin! Finish off the Slaver with a Fatal Attack You get 3 FAs per life (2 lives per credit). They do a TON of damage to bosses. You’re fired! Suplex Herio Cannon Dancer (Osman) is similar to Strider except you punch, kick, and throw enemies instead of using a sword. The level of difficulty is much harder though. The Devil is in the Details Discover Akuma in Super Street Fighter II Turbo to prove your worth. Finally done with all versions of Street Fighter II. The difficulty in this was also pretty high. This remasters took me my surprise, I didn't expect them at all though I wish ATLUS remastered FES instead of Portable but still it's a great version of the game but not my favorite one. Getting a bit tired of the combat and may take a small break before playing the DLCs. PS4 Heroes of Ancient Britain Complete all Tombs of the Fallen And went back to get this. Still have the last two DLCs to play, but I haven't bought Dawn of Ragnarök yet. One annoying thing about going back to the PS4 after playing the PS5 version, it feels slower. Now THAT is how you do a remake!! Since I'll never get the plat as some of the trophies are speed runs, I'll post my opinions here. First of all, I had a blast with the game! From the second I loaded it to the last moment of the credits (god that ending song was wicked) I felt like I was playing something truly special. Most of the changes are so fucking good and surprising, you can really see that the devs put A LOT of love into this one! The story was fucking awesome, Leon and Ashley were adorable together, and the darker Leon was a great balance between serious and goofy. Ashley, by far the best improvement from the OG, became one of my video game darlings because of just how likeable she is. I love that she roots for you during combat and during the shooting range parts as well. And how could I not mention the remixed version of Drive?!?!? That alone got me tingly and happy beyond measure. The new voice actors are a mixed bag though, as are the new renditions of old characters. Ada and Hunnigan just sound terrible, don't know if they area diversity hires or what, but it was painful to listen to. I already miss the older versions. Saddler was a dud as well, just a bland villain. Luis and Krauser were equally good, though I kinda prefer the older Luis. But both of them were still great and on par with the OG. ANd, of course, I miss the old banter between Leon and the villaines. But hey, this is a different game and I love it for what it is. I can always play the OG as it still holds up amazingly well. Though I think the biggest victory this game will get from me is the fact that I love it to bits even though it diverges in some parts from the original which is in my top 5 games ever! 6 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Eblait Posted April 24, 2023 Share Posted April 24, 2023 Got quite a bit of trophies since my last post: I'm slowly getting to the endgame with my partner - when we're done, I'll go for the 100% solo since she's not willing to do the more challenging stuff. We still need to get a few Teensies to unlock the last painting, so we're playing the Origins paintings to get there. And then there's the Challenges... it's been a pain to grind them, mainly because Ubisoft's servers are not registering some of them. People are losing points everyday because the cups for clearing the challenges are not being awarded. Dragon Rider! Complete the "Dragon Slayer" painting Invaders! Save enough Teensies and get rid of the Dark Teensies to make all the Invasion paintings appear I'm past 50% completion on this one! The final act and the Leviathan/Citadel DLCs are the remaining stuff left for Platinum/100%. I might be able to complete this by the start of next month. And with that, I'll have 100% completed the Mass Effect Trilogy on PS3! Hard Target Call down an orbital strike. Master and Commander Deliver most of the Galaxy at War assets to the final conflict. Always Prepared Obtain two non-customizable suits of armor. Last Witness Extract ancient technology. Paramour Establish or rekindle a romantic relationship. I didn't realise that i was reading straight for six hours and is just the first case!!! I couldn't rely on environment this time though. So there was a lot of item using, but that's practically normal really. Long cutscenes afterwards though. The group was super nice to that cop's daughter and it was really sweet honestly... but I feel like he's still going to backstab them... ?
