Worst Trophy/ridiculous trophy list

I would say a ridiculous trophy/trophy list would be Darksiders 2.

Not for difficulty or grindiness.

But why is there 1 online trophy for a list and a game that is a 100% single player hack 'n' slash adventure thing? It's completely out of place.

Thank goodness they got rid of that trophy in the PS4 version, but it still annoys me that I will never get the plat for the PS3 version unless they bring the servers back up. Which apparently they're 'trying'.

I'm so glad I read the thread before starting this game. I have 0% ATM completion and I probably won't start it unless servers are fixed which I highly doubt considering it's been 4 or 5 months since the last guy got this trophy. Oh well, I'll take that as a lesson to pay attention before going for plat s in a game

Don't worry, it happened once to the XBOX Version as well, but now it works. I would check last tracked Gamers for this Trophy or check up other Communities.

Nah they removed the trophy from the PS4 version, so that one's doable.

Edit: The last time someone got the Pay It Forward trophy for the PS3 version was May 15th 2016, so maybe the servers are up again.

 

OT: I would go with Star Ocean, since I don't know much about the other games, 300-400 hours seems a bit mental.

Other - because i was really hyped to buy Twisted Metal but then that garbage trophy list came out and i said hells no. The All Sales Are Final trophy is a giant middle finger to all their players. I hope it cost them more than just my business.

I can deal with the brutal Single Player trophies, as at least they're based for the most part on player skill and can be done at any time, but oh my god the fucking win a match every day for a whole month shit is inexcusable. Given that there's most likely barely anyone playing it anyway you have to have people dedicated to getting online for 30 days straight in order to do this, and any number of factors could make this difficult. It's just a stupid and pointless trophy, and respect to anyone who has got the Platinum for this game. 

Voted for rock band 3. Those extra instruments are ridiculously pricey

Not to mention the trophies themselves based around them are hard as fuck too. The final Pro Keys trainers are VERY hard for people who don't have a background in piano and to be honest those are probably the only people I can see easily doing it. Not to mention that Well Connected as well as a few of the DLC achievements on the 360 version are now unobtainable due to them shutting down the service and the removal of key songs respectively (though obviously this doesn't affect the PS3 version, thankfully, same with Rock Band Blitz on the PS3 not having that ridiculous play 300 different songs achievement). 

 

Still, it's an absolutely fantastic game that I thoroughly recommend regardless and was easily the most polished and well realised game in the series unlike the abortion that is Rock Band 4. Still, I would recommend playing this on the 360 as there are more songs available via the Rock Band Network.

That bs one in Orcs Must Die Unchained. I played over 200 hours of that game naturally and didn’t even get a third of the way to spending all those coins ingame.

 

only thing keeping me from the platinum. But I tried the farming and it’s just boring. I could’ve probably spent another 100h normally playing but doing the same shit with one character over and over and over wasn’t going to happen.

 

 

the bs ones in Super Bomberman R for breaking blocks and placing bombs. Just a needless grind for no reason.
 

Every single playtime one since 99.9% of games that have those have no content to justify playing for that long since you already did everything

Oh yeah, Rayman Legends bs. Not just the diamonds but the amount of Lums too. Why. By the time you’ve 100% the levels you’re nowhere near the latter. 
 

and the former isn’t fun. I’ll probably never plat them and that’s a bummer

Someone mentioned SF5, but i also consider sf4 lists are brutal

 

For me it has to be Tetris effect, even if you play amazing and you have full idea of playing tetris in a competitive way, its a lot of hours, luck, and dominate every mode and song of the game to get the perfect score on everything.

 

Bonus: Doom bfg edition for ps3 its a tedious list because its a ton of bronce trophies for doing a crapton of playthroughs and playing amazing
