Will make sure to get the PS4 version later down the road. Have to get the console first! lol

The PS3 version became pretty rare pretty fast, at least the black label one, so be careful there.

Interesting but the Main Tales of I want to play (and get a Western release) is Destiny DC. Which at this point i doubt will ever happen.

You can never rule out a Tales of Destiny DC R, though. Innocence and Hearts got it, so you never know. On top of that ToD is way more popular tham those 2.

I haven't seen it on Amazon UK yet. Any news on a Collector's Edition?

Nope, but if this excitement keeps up I can see Bamco taking advantage of it. After all, all the latest Tales games have had a Collector's Edition.

Good birthday gift to buy for yourself then! :D

Definitely gonna buy this edition and co-op it with my sister, like the other Tales of!

They mention the “Anniversary Bundle” being exclusive to the Bandai Namco Store and I think the steelbook is a part of that, but I'm not 100% sure. I had a quick look and couldn't find it available for pre-order yet.

Ok, thanks for the info!

I also had looked in the EU Bandai store and found nothing..

Hope it does find it's way into EU in some kind of shape, be it in the collector's Edition or on a Day 1 Edition (like Xillia 2).

Had this on my 360 but never really gave it much of a shot. As a sort of aside, I thin kit's really awesome to see this recent spate of former non-Sony exclusives coming over to PlayStation right now!

Ah, I found their tweet about it.

So yeah, it's not up for pre-order yet. I assume EU will get some sort of collector's edition, preferably the same one NA gets. I really want that steelbook. :P

Cool! Ya, I hope that I can get my hands on that one too! (missed the Rollo Steelbook for Xillia 2 and kind of regret it now.. I have the regular day 1 steelbook for that one).

That steelcase is... well it's okay, I was hoping for something similar to the 360 steelcase. Still, it's a major upgrade compared to the two previous steelcases they gave with the EU versions of Zestiria and Berseria because it's Repede, and he's awesome.

Following its January 11, 2019 western release date announcement earlier today, Bandai Namco has announced that Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition will launch in Japan on the same date. The physical edition will only be available for PlayStation 4 and Switch, while the Xbox One and PC versions will be digital-only.

In addition to the 5,700 yen standard edition, an 11,000 yen first-print “10th Anniversary Edition” will also be available. It will include:

  • A special box with artwork by Kousuke Fujishima
  • 10th Anniversary Edition reversible box art
  • Hardcover Memorial Art Book full of 10th anniversary content, including character illustrations and more
  • Anniversary double acrylic plate featuring the characters of Brave Vesperia
  • Tales of Vesperia: The First Strike Blu-ray disc with bonus original new video content
  • New video bonus #1: “Special Dramatic Skit: Reunion” – The party reunites after the events of the game. Hear the thoughts of fellow characters that you wouldn’t hear otherwise.
  • New video bonus #2: Short Anime “Tales of Home Room ~Vesperia~” – A new short animation depicting the characters’ summer vacation.

Early purchases of both the standard and limited editions (for the digital version, the purchase must be made before February 7, 2019) will include a serial code for the “Special Dramatic Skit ~Celebration! 10th Anniversary~,” in which Yuri and the others talk among each other about the 10th anniversary of Tales of Vesperia. The serial code can be entered on a special page on the Tales Channel+ website.
