How to Access the Old PS Store (PS3, PS4, Vita & PSP)

UPDATE: Sony just shut access to the legacy web store, in any shape or form. It’s over, folks. Time to lock the thread again.

Between 21-28 October 2020, the PS Store got an overall redesign across the world in preparation for the PS5 launch. This redesign removed the possibility to purchase PS3, PS Vita and PSP content (games, DLC, themes, avatars, etc.) on the desktop and mobile versions of the store. Any previous Wishlist also has been removed on the new store. Now, the option to buy and download PS3, Vita and PSP content is via the console’s respective store. However, it was still possible to access the previous desktop and mobile PS Store by entering specific link addresses, but the old store went closed at the end of March 2021.

 

While it's no more possible to access the old PS Store the normal way, there is still a workaround! To access it, you will need to have Firefox installed on your desktop computer, and you'll need to follow these steps, many huge thanks to Silica to make this possible!

1) Install this Firefox add-on browser named "Valkyrie PS Store": https://addons.mozilla.org/en-GB/firefox/addon/valkyrie-ps-store/.

2) After installing it, go to https://store.playstation.com/en-us/home/games and log in from https://my.playstation.com.

3) Once there you can access to any link of your desired region on the list below this thread post! Enjoy!


To access to the old download list, showing all your PS3, Vita, PS4 and other legacy contents, you need to enter the following link: https://store.playstation.com/xx-xx/download/list. Replace the ‘xx-xx’ part of the link to your account’s region code, like ‘en-us’, ‘fr-fr’, ‘ko-kr’ or ‘de-de’.

 

Note that it allows the use of PSDLE again.

Don’t forget to bookmark the links to the countries of your choice, including the download list link!

I didn't even realize yet that the wishlist was missing on the new storefront. Thanks for the heads up.

It’s sad they removed the wishlist because that gave you a full view of prices and sales of games that you wanted and now it takes time to search for every single game even if you copy and paste each title. Shame they did this

Oh no I understood bad, I can buy games in my respective consoles xD. Sorry. So I suppose it is removed from desktop and mobile only.

No, the old Store is gone from the new PS App. You get to access it via browser, either desktop or browser.

I meant the old Web Store, since it was used through the old app. I'm asking to the people that already received the PS App update.

Thank you heaps for sharing this discovery. Sony better not take notice of this thread so they’ll just shut all of this down, at least not anytime soon.

 

The new PS4/PS5 store is complete trash and since browsing that for myself I never intended on visiting again, but now I can continue using the previous layout for just a little bit longer. (or maybe indefinitely, who knows?)

Since Sony forgot they shut down the PSP store back in 2016, let's hope they forget this old version of the webstore exists and leaves it be indefinitely.

Losing the wishlist is my biggest complaint with the new store.

 

Coincidentally, today I received an email from Nintendo informing me that an item on my wishlist has gone on sale. *Sigh*, that sure is a nice feature, eh Sony? Would be great to have something similar on the PS Store.

From the fantastic new PS App, in the push notification settings, there is a "Wishlist Updates" option that can be switched on and off. I'm sure they will place wishlist back again for PS4 and PS5 articles and you'll get notified when there's a deal on an item in your wishlist. :)
