I'm not a fan of having multiple lists of the same game on my profile and I already have Borderlands 3 on PS4. With the upcoming BL3 DLCs, I was worried I'd have to play the PS4 version of the game on my PS5 to avoid a new list but now I can upgrade and play the best version of the game. This is awesome news for me. Now I just need DOOM Eternal to do the same so I can play The Ancient Gods - Part Two on the PS5 version of the game as well! I haven't played Borderlands 3, but I only want to play it once and get the Platinum and then move on to other games. Instead of wasting my time trying to do the game twice in a row. Cause it's easier since it's still fresh in your head and you would do everything quicker the 2nd time around. I hope other developers do the same, since some games are backwards compatible. In that case, the final expansion was only available on PS4, which meant PS3 players were screwed. It's be a shame for that to happen with some of these titles. Dry Posted November 3, 2020 Share Posted November 3, 2020 In my opinion I think that playing PS4 games on PS5 through backwards compatibility should continue using the existing PS4 trophy lists, but if it’s like Cyberpunk 2077 or Spider-Man Miles Morales where the PS4 and PS5 versions are seperate releases then they should be seperate lists (even if there’s a PS4>PS5 upgrade available). Just started the game and want to switch over to ps5 as soon as I get it. not keen on two half finished games, and not keen on doing those grindy trophies twice. It's possible that the way PSNP and Exophase are pulling data wouldn't catch this yet. Not saying it definitely is (or isn't) shared, but I wouldn't be surprised if trophy sites have to do a little cleanup over the next week or two.
