Also, instead of dashing around the arena, I just dashed back and forth at the bottom, going from side to side.

Thanks to both you.  At least the song is more enjoyable than hearing the tick tick from an online metronom hahaha.  I have to admit that the "blue/green" outfit helping for the dashes is wrong?! Maybe people believed it when the game was released? The newest posts on reddit etc. Debunked the benefit of this outfit. The only benefit which this outfit have is:

 

"Green outfit’s effect is false. It doesn’t change the dash timings, it changes how quickly your health  when you use a health pack."

 

People say it was a placebo effect back when the game was released. 

 

Yeah I tried both methods I was more successfull with the against the clock dashes but I wished you could control the player with the d-pad too so left right method would be easier but hey, practice is key right? Happy hunting guys.

Well... Long live the Placebo effect then ? I didn't even attempt this without, but saw it mentioned in the guide after my first blind PT and unlocked it before attempting the challenge..

A quick update on how my progress for tier three has been going. I have completed the first three games from this tier which were Brawlout, It's Quiz Time and Modern Warfare 3, only leaving Infinite Minigolf and Medal Of Honor. The percentage completion I have for these games are the same as when I started the tier (92% and 71%) respectively. 

 

As for some thoughts on the games trophies I have completed so far:

 

• Brawlout - Towers, the only trophies that require a degree of skill. Fortunately for me it was easy to use the cheap method for it for those trophies, cleaning them up in a day. The very dull grind for the brawlers is done and I have the platinum bring on the next dull grind.
• It's Quiz Time - As is the case with most party games, very quick and easy to achieve all the trophies with the only drawback being the trophy for an eight player game. Separate devices to use and controllers do not count, well that is a little awkward. If only emulators existed. Or you could "borrow" every local device you find.
• Modern Warfare 3 - Reached wave 15 and used all of the weapons; I certainly managed to speed run the completion with a lighting fast time of one year and seven months.

 

In case anybody cares, my aim is to finish up with the online for Max Payne 3 and Grand Theft Auto 4 before finishing this tier and adding more money to the cause. No shortage of options for next tier on my side so should be quick. Then again I could have said that for the previous tiers.

In that case I want to use my final swap to change trackmania turbo for mighty no. 9 to complete this tier. That should give the final 5 euro for the bonus.

was able to finish this game up. I just need to update my list again for last trophy. This game was really grindy from 50 jumps,200pigeons to all the online grind wasn't hard just  grindfest. The base game wasn't really difficult but I found the dlc to be really hard mostly achieving 100% all missions in bogt I might be just bad at shooters but found that to extremely difficult :p.

also i would like to switch out soul calibur 5  for nfs shift 2 since server shutdowns soon

I finished Absolver and Starwhal last week.

Absolver is kind of a decent game, with some good ideas, but ultimately falls a bit short of it being actually fun. There are almost 200 combat moves in the game, but it doesn't really matter that much, as fights usually aren't that different anyways, so it got repetitive kinda quickly. The open world feels like they were trying to go for a Soulsborne style where things are somewhat interconnected and it's not easy to find your way around, but in this case it's much easier to get lost, also because there's very little variety between areas. As for difficulty, overall it was a pretty easy game, with some of the higher level bosses requiring a few tries to memorize their movesets, but nothing too bad. There's however 1 trophy that I got stuck on for hours, which is for making 1 boss kill the other when you fight the twins. This requires depending on the AI to cooperate, but I just could get them to do that for hours?

 

There's not much to say about Starwhal, it controls just as shit as when I did it the first time, so I don't recommend playing it unless you're doing it for a competition like I was

 

I would also like to swap Terraria for Titan Souls, as I expect to finish the former today. I've also started Nova-111, might have to swap that in too if I happen to finish it before Space Overlords.

My first game for Tier 5 - King of Fighters 2002UM

 

Pleasantly surprised to see this one becoming an UR. After playing through it, I could see why: challenge mode in this game is no joke. I guess this is where KoFXIII got its inspiration from.

Luckily for the most majority of the challenges you could create macros so the character can do an entire combo at a press of a button. 

 

A big thanks towards @Thedah for saving me from the clutches of online elites. Online is currently dead and whoever plays this game must have been born near a KoF arcade cabinet. I rarely have been beaten like this in a fighting game  

Good game if you wish to approach it, but be mindful of the challenges. This game is not as trivial as I initially expected.

Damn this trophy looks awful. I’m picking this one up in the current indie sale though because the game looks fantastic. I’m going to save this comment to help cut down on future pain and suffering. Thanks!

Hi! Just wanted to give an update. I have 100%ed Crypt of the NecroDancer and The Last Guardian since I last posted (I wanted to finish Tier 1 before updating, but that's fine) so I only have 1 more game to go for Tier 1

Pox Nora might be really in depth and perhaps even good strategy game, but it's not needed at all to learn anything about the game to get this plat, apart from the very basics. It was mostly just a boring boost and having to contact devs to help with some glitches that blocked the 8 faction trophies from being obtainable. So I definitely don't recommend playing this game, at least not until the tutorials are fixed.

Kinda similar story for Terraria, might be a good game, but I just got carried in someone's trophy world, so I didn't need to actually learn anything. At least this was shorter than Pox and had me actually play the game for a bit.

Street Fighter V done! I bought the champion edition and the premium pass to get the 100k fight money. After the online was done, to get the remaining fight money I had to finish all character stories, watch all the demonstrations, finish all easy survival and finish all the trials in Vol 1, 2, 3, 4 and 6 and around 50% of the trials in Vol. 5.

 

It wasn't that bad since I didn't have to do any Normal/Hard/Extreme survival other then the one time for the trophy.

With Axiom Verge 2 being released I had to get this done soon. And this game is amazing, one of the better Metroidvania games I have played in a while. For anyone not familiar with those games. They are side scrollers with a lot of focus on exploration. You find tons of upgrades on your weapons, health and abilities until you become a powerhouse and blow everything up.

Also completed Extreme Exorcism and Nova-111 that were on plus a while back. I will be using 2 swaps for them. Both of them were nice and short.

Damn, it's been quite a while and all I have to show for it is a completion of The Bit.Trip! I've been meaning to play these at some point, and this collection was the perfect chance. I'll say that a few of them were a lot more boring than I had anticipated. Fate and Void ended up being the flops for me, despite them sounding really fun in concept. I had played Runner before, but it was enjoyable the second time around. The pong variant games were a lot more fun with motion control than I had anticipated. Overall, the collection isn't very demanding save a couple annoying trophies.

 

Otherwise, I've made some progress on Tetris Effect, although I still feel miles away with these last two SS ranks. Great game, though! Fenix Furia continues to be a game that refuses to give me the death trophies, which will probably be forever forgotten soon. I'll probably chip away at Tetris a bit more, but not sure what else I'll be working at next on PSN.
