I honestly don't think there is any harm in using that remote play script for that trophy. It's kind of a ridiculous almost troll-worthy trophy really that's also impacted by the input lag @ladynadiadmentioned. I will likely do it with the help of the script when I get around to FF9 I reckon. But that being said - props if you manage to do it without the script @Heather342!

I gave it a damn good try, and I really did want to do it legitimately, but after so long the rage and frustration won out and that's when I used the script.

Still just working on Fe. Got the biggest missable trophy and have been working my way through the story. Think the collectables will take the most time to clean up honestly. There was one trophy for getting 10 or more lizards for a 'conversation' and I had to take a video of it cause gosh darn are those lizards adorable.

Should be on track to finish up mostly before Arise's release. If now, I guess I'll have to put it on the backburner once Arise comes out, or use it for breaks if Arise decides to emotionally destroy me.

Just finished Fez, which was worth every minute, day, year I put into this game.  4 years and definitely worth the ride!

Yo I'm tackling my first Yakuza game (0) and it's already staggering how much there is to do!! I could only imagine how further up the ante is where you've gotten... Unless I totally fall in love with the series I may just finish 0 and the kiwamis and slip out the back?

The jump rope trophy on the PS4 version I'm sure is highly affected by input lag. I spent about a year practicing for it, and the best I could manage was 294 jumps before I mentally caved and resorted to the remote play script.

I have an alternate save file where Vivi's right by the girls, I need to keep going to it regularly. I've heard that about the lag too! Sheesh... when I played this on PS1, I tried it and was like "Fuck this! Why would I subject myself to this silliness, it's not like there's some sort of achievement tracker that will hold me accountable for doing this stupid shit!"

 

Twenty years later, seems my luck ran out?

You can go back to the skipping rope in 'Disc 3' of the game progress. They move to the bell tower and they stay there pretty much for that whole section of the game. The camera is front facing there, so it's a bit easier to see the jumps if you're watching it. But after a while, you're better off going by sound as it jumps so fast you can't really keep up ?

Update #1: I’m quite happy with what I’ve accomplished in the first week of this year’s Fall/ Winter Backlog Challenge. I earned the few trophies left needed for Fallout: New Vegas’s plat, my 75th overall. While the game isn’t difficult per se, the challenge comes from how often my game needs to be restarted due to unexpected crashes. There were times the game would crash without warning, and other times it’d reach <10 frames per second before freezing up. I could go all session without a single freeze, and other days, I needed to restart my PS3 multiple times to complete a single quest. I played through the Dead Money and Old War Blues DLC, the latter being for the first time, and completed enough challenges to 100% the Gun Runners’ Arsenal DLC, thankfully. I’ve just started Honest Hearts, a story-based DLC set in Zion National Park, a place I know and love to hike IRL. I’m excited to continue my Fallout journey, hoping to finish both of the remaining DLC’s before my next update.

Hej!

Brave has now been completed, and I actually thought it was an okay game. Not a very complicated game, but a bit of fun. Had to grind for money over a couple of hours, no biggie there either.

Other than that I've decided to play MediEvil through to the end now, mainly because it will shut my airplane of a console up. I'm not actually sure I like this game yet, but hopefully it grows on me over time.

Also started dabbling a bit in Jak & Daxter, just to get a feel for it. Not really a fan of the camera, doesn't seem like you can change rotation for it. Eh, challenge accepted I guess!

Gf is working on Moving Out and having a lot of fun with it. Some of the challenges are a bit frustrating, like having to move through a crowded building and not touch any artwork. But it is actually really satisfying to see them completed.

Completed my first game last night co-op with @Spacey Dweeb. Pretty decent game and made us both scratch our heads at times trying to figure out how to solve the puzzles thrown at us. I'd recommend it but going in blind is a must. Also making some decent progress in South Park: The Stick of Truth and will likely continue on with that this week/weekend.

For real!! Even with a guide that game got trying very quickly. The story completely falls apart before the third playthrough, and it's just such a monotonous chore to go through the motions again and again. It's my only platinum that makes me feel like a cruel parent, I look at it and think "...you were an accident."

I knew what was going on the whole time. I was just scratching my head trying to think how to explain to @gruffiiti's Neanderthal brain that square pegs don't fit in round holes.

Made some more progress in Shiness.  Got past that obnoxious cannon thing by adjusting some settings to make the battles faster and figuring out a trick to skip one of them so I only had to do three.  Worked like a charm.  Then had to get past the next area which was a stealth mission pretty much since there's a trophy to not set off any of the alarms.  We'll just say there was a few times where I had to reload because I did trip the alarms.  Also ran into a glitch that required me to start over at one point, very annoying.  But all that remains now is finishing up the last area and whatever boss I get and mopping up trophies.  Then on to a second playthrough to get the few quests I missed and the other ending and hopefully do the second run with no game overs.  If I pull that off, I'll have the plat then.

 

Definitely can't say I'd recommend Shiness though.  It's a mess of a game that feels very incomplete.  About all that I can say that is good about it is that I'll have a nice shiny UR plat fir my time spent and it will be yet another that I'd not recommend to anyone.

Update 2

 

I managed to finish up the Assassin's Creed Freedom Cry stand alone game. I wasn't really planning on doing this as a separate trophy list, but during the summer backlog challenge I started it by accident thinking it was the Black Flag DLC ?. It's not a bad story, but I can't really see why they also made it its own game. The port was also prone to many blue screen crashes, in the end I had to play it by signing out of PSN because it was too frustrating losing so much progress after every 45 mins. 

 

I've also been playing Crash Team Racing, and managed to get a few more trophies here. Still not quite got the hang of the drift boost mechanics, but I'm sure it'll click eventually ?

I'll second this. Possibly the most dull game I've played. Slow as anything!!

Maneater on PS has been buggy since DLC release with man people unable to unlock some or most of the trophies, including myself in the base game.  Might ask to see if it won't count as a swap since you might be like me and can't complete it.   I too will likely swap it with Control as I had snagged the ultimate edition from a giveaway before the end of August.
