Finally got back to the Anthem grind a couple days ago and started making progress again. Almost done with the Interceptor gear challenges then I'll move on to the Storm ones. While I'm doing that I'll be working on the reputation grind and collectibles. They are all really close to being done so hopefully just another 5 or 6 hours over the next few days will get me the plat. Then I can start my next game over the weekend. Not sure which one it will be yet. I also downloaded a few of the new PS Plus games so I might make a swap or two after trying them out. I thought about just adding 3 more games, but I'd like to actually finish my list in one of these challenges.? Then I can add on a few more after that. Take care! Popular Post Crispy_Oglop
Update 2 - Well, more of a non-update really, the construction going on in my house is taking way longer than I thought it would, so access to my gaming set-up in general has been patchy. I did get a few hours of Dark Souls 3 in on the occasional evening, but it didn't result in any trophy progress. I have a nice long weekend ahead of me which should be construction-free as apparently all the work will complete today so I plan on making way more of a dent in it. I'm also super tempted to give TMNT a whirl as the release footage looks glorious. The only other gaming stuff really was Fallout 76 which I dipped into with my partner to see what it was like. But I couldn't really make my mind up on it as we only got an hour or two into. Hope everyone has a lovely weekend and I should have a bit more of an update in the next one. Take care! Popular Post Darling Baphomet
Finally got my first event game of the month finished! I'm happy to report that Planet Coaster is now another honored member of my platinum collection, and a damn fun game in and of itself as somebody who grew up with the RCT franchise. It's a shame how much the park management genre has stagnated, although it appears to be picking up some speed again with games like Jurassic World Evolution and this picking up the slack. Anyway, not sure what I'll be doing next - perhaps finally starting Cyberpunk 2077; that goddamn rental has been sitting on my desk for far too long. I wasn't a big fan of it and imo it kind of has no business being a ps5 game. It is janky as hell; the combat is awful. It looks like a PS2 game. I could not wait for it to end. It's unfortunate because I like Frogware and I love Sherlock Holmes Chapter One. Oh well, that's what I get for going backwards. I've also been sort of working on Crash. I've got all the "easy" stuff done. I still have to beat the game, get a couple more miscellaneous things done, and then start working on all the relics and such. That'll be interesting. I finally also beat that stupid Downtown mission in Planet Coaster. My god people in that one are so rude. Oh I'm thirsty, better kick this bench! Oh now I'm mad that stuff is vandalized, what a shitty park! Then you have to make their overall happiness 80%? Jerks, all of them. I did enjoy kicking out the pickpockets though, that was satisfying.
Popular Post RoastedPeanut
Update #3 Wow, that time of the week already? I had another productive week and was able to knock off two more games. Wonder Boy Collection was great. I never played Monster World IV until last years remake, but I really enjoyed it. The other three games in the collection though were my childhood. It was really nice playing through them again and they're definitely games I never get sick of (I still play Wonder Boy in Monster World every year). I also finished off Stranger of Paradise. When it was first announced I wasn't really interested in it, but it gradually grew on me and I'm so glad I picked it up. It's definitely one of my top 3 games I've played so far this year. It was a bit of a grind towards the end, especially for the final trophy which required maxing one of the jobs at level 99, but I still had a hell of a lot of fun with it and hopefully the DLC doesn't disappoint when it finally drops. If it's anything like Nioh's DLC it will be great. I've always made some progress in New Little King's Story and Dragon Quest Heroes 2. I don't expect to finish DQ any time soon. The trophy guide says 200 hours and I can see why. The grind is going to be a pain but I'm in the mood to rewatch every season of Weeds so that will be setup on my laptop next to me while I grind away. Happy hunting, everyone! 1. Popular Post Heather342
Update 3 Hi everyone, hope you've all had a great week ?. I'm still chipping away at Resident Evil 2. My gaming time has slowed down a lot recently and I'm dividing my time between this and re-watching all of Stranger Things before I get into season 4. But I've made a bit of progress ? I started the week by booting up the Claire A scenario, still on assisted mode, but managed to grab the hip pouches trophy and the no healing trophy on this run. Unfortunately still had some Mr Raccoons and Lore Files missing, not sure which ones though. Then I booted up the Leon B scenario in standard mode, getting the S Rank trophy and the <14,000 steps trophy. I found the final boss fight against Super Tyrant pretty difficult, I had no healing items left and it turns out I'm crap at dodging ?. At the end of that run I was still missing 2 files and 2 raccoons though ?. But now that I've done the steps trophy I'll do a big search for them on my next playthroughs. All I have left is to S Rank a Claire scenario, a hardcore run through Leon and Claire, and these last few collectables. Maybe I'll finish it by next update, but I'm taking my time this challenge to avoid the dreaded burnout. Happy hunting! Trophy progress: Resident Evil 2 - 56 -> 71%

Voice of Cards is easy enough to play and plat, perfect for playing with something in the background when you get bored of some repetitive parts like the fights. Picto Quest, I bought and started playing too quickly to add here. It is just a pictogram/nonogram game with some simple RPG elements like items and lives with enemies attacking you if you make mistakes or take too long without solving any rows or columns. Control was fun, not my favorite but absolutely a good game. I enjoyed the unique setting and accessibility options when I got tired of dying.

Aside from that I started Azur Lane: Crosswave and working on my 275 th. platinum: Lonely Mountains: Downhill (only 3 expert challenges left). Lego Marvel`s Avengers I know it`s a cliche to say that but: It`s a Lego game. No new innovative gameplay mechanics, only your standart Lego puzzle platformer hack `n slash with open world elements. This one does things better than Marvel Superheroes (Flying controlls, better performance/graphics, more hub worlds) and worse: vehicle controlls, unresponsive controlls in the QTE`s/ contextsensual button pressings - especially in the repair ones, fewer characters - no X-Men, Fantastic Four, Deadpool or Punisher (Spiderman was later implemented as DLC) and the story was hard to follow in my opinion, because every cutscene was action, action, techno babble, action (I never seen any of the Avengers movies, but I also never saw Punchline or Is it Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? before playing the games, and I got the stories in these ones). The gameplay was fun, especially the open world parts but I could do without the 2. playthrough for the levels/missions. For the 100% trophy completion there are 6 DLC sets, and I`m glad that I got the Marvel collection with all the DLC, because if I had to pay for them I think I would have felt scammed. Short levels and 2 of the DLCs are plain bad in my opinion (Captain Marvel - insufferable character and no real ending and Black Panther - the boss was a bit annoying and in most of his dialouges he praises his sister Shuri, who has no character and doesn`t say a word in the entire level). Disaster Report 4: Summer Memories To be absolutely honest, I only picked this game for this challenge because of the title and platinum having the word summer in it. I played the first game in the series (SOS The Final Escape) and loved it on the PS2. And I got many flashbacks to that game with this one. The game is an adventure, that plays in an japanese city after an earthquake. The protagonist (customisable - can be male or female) has to survive and to deal with other survivors and their problems. The game is definitly not for everyone, it plays slow and you have to search for triggerpoints to continue the story(which can be a bit infuriating at times) and the graphics look like something between Yakuza 1 (PS2) and Yakuze 3, but the story and characters makes it worth in my opinion. The story is more like an anthology of short stories of the people that your protagonist meets on his journey to the city, than one about him. Without spoiling to much, he must help finding an arsonist so that a pair of Romeo and Juliet can be together, is recruited by a sect, can make a jewel loving yandere fall in love with him, meets a scam artist and rapists and spends time with a young teacher and 3 of her students. And oh boy, some of this stories escalates quikly (espeacilly everything from Day 3 on to the endings). For the platinum a good trophy guide and walkthrough is a must (many missable trophies and the afforementioned story trigger search at some points). The guide I used was only semi-good, unfortunately, so I used a Youtube video walkthrough as complement. For the 100% trophy set, their is a epilouge to complete. This epilouge shows what the characters have done six months after the earthquake and how the city is rebuild.
Popular Post StilRh
Hey guys. Hope it's been a good week. I've scored two platinums this week Outer Wilds this was a lovely indie game that I'm glad I allowed the time to grow on me during the awkward first few hours. I loved solving some of the mysteries and puzzles the game presented. I've not sprung for the DLC yet, but I'll likely get this if I have time towards the end of the this challenge peroid. On a mystery kick I next added The Forgotten City to my list. I absolutely loved this and got the platinum pretty quickly. I've also been chipping away at Atelier Sophie 2and Hitman 3 but no big trophy wins yet. This week I hope to play of my current picks but if I see a good mystery I may add that instead. Popular Post rjkclarke
Update #1 Stick it to the Man (PS4) 0%>100% ✅ God of War (2018) (PS4) 0% Lone Survivor (PS4) 0% The Vanishing of Ethan Carter (PS4) 0%> 100% ✅ Black Mirror (PS4) 0% Games Completed 2/5 So I thought I'd better actually make an update, as I've actually made a little progress for the challenge now! I'm hoping to make a whole lot more soon, as I'm lining myself up to play both Lone Survivor and Black Mirror this week so that should leave just God of War before I can start adding another few games! I've been reading along the whole time. I seem to have had my rep points mugged on a daily basis whenever I've been in here the last week, and there was no Spider-Man to save me, and bring them back. So I'm going to have to try and throw some well deserved rep points all of you awesome folks way over the coming days! So what did I think of the games I've been playing? Thoughts on The Vanishing of Ethan Carter! This game is very short, but it's a really good time if you're open to walking simulators, or games that are quite minimalistic as far as gameplay goes, but heavy on story. I thought it was very good for the short time that I spent with it. There is some genuinely great gameplay in there though, and it keeps itself pretty fresh over its short length. As it's so short, it feels a bit redundant for me to just list everything that I enjoyed about it. I'll do what I usually do and post a link to my review of it. You probably don't need to read it though, but feel free to. I'm just going to post a specific paragraph from it that has a story that seems too funny not to share. of a trick my Dad played on me when I was very young. "Do you want to read something funny? Actually you don’t get a choice, you’re here now haha. The final trophy you’re likely to get in this game is for finding a sniper rifle. On the way to doing that you’ll pick up a pine cone. The thing is – for some reason, a memory came flooding into my head as I saw it, of my Dad playing a pretty funny (in hindsight at least) trick on me when I was younger. We’d recently been on holiday in Spain, when we came back, I’d somehow found some giant pine cones somewhere, and I wanted to take them to school (because apparently a big pine cone, and they were big, was exciting in the mid 90’s haha). I also wanted to know what the word for Pine Cone in Spanish was... you’re wondering why I found this funny, right? Well he told me they were called Penis Conus, to which I go into school the next day with MY BIG PENIS CONUS’ in my bag, and tell everyone who would listen about them. I audibly laughed out loud when I picked up that pine cone in the game just remembering that." Parents sure can be cruel can't they? ? Thoughts on Stick It To the Man This game was so great - it's another one that's very short, but it doesn't mean that it isn't absolutely worth your time. Humour can be a really tricky thing to nail sometimes in video game form, or any form come to that, but thankfully Stick It To the Man does a fantastic job of doing that well. At times it feels like as Smevz rightly pointed out actually, a fever dream. It's just completely wild and if the game was any longer than it is I don't think it would quite work so well! I absolutely loved how the game seems to share a lot of DNA with point-and-click adventure titles, which are, as some of you might know by now, one of my favourite genres ever! (More specifically Ron Gilbert and Tim Schafer's efforts.) Yet it also has none of the rigidity, that comes along with that genre. I'll leave a link to that review too just in case anyone wants to read more about it. I tend to write a lot, which is why I usually just leave links, to avoid having a huge block of my ramblings If you've yet to play it though, I think it's totally worth peoples time. It's really nice to start actually making progress with the challenge, so onwards and upwards from here. As always it's great to see you all making wonderful progress too! This website has a great guide on how to get all 45 signs. Just one or two are tricky. The thing that did take me an extra 2 hours was killing MegaBrno on Hardboiled difficulty. Eventually I found the trick to keep him under attack so he couldn't hit me. Last quarter of his health was a game of patience. Started Habroxia plus Old Man's Journey and made little progress with Gorogoa. Rayman Legends will be the game you will see me playing the entire period unless I find a way to score Diamond Cups on the challenges. @Metal Slime King I have the Platinum Trophy for Rayman Legends on the Vita, so I know how long it takes without Diamond Cups. I should be able to come close. Other distractions: In the previous update I forgot to mention that I completed all online Trophies for UFC Undisputed 2009. I couldn't have done it without @x_xDarthAndyx_x. Thanks a lot. I do admit that I had some luck with the Flash KO, getting it at the 2nd attempt. The 1 hit knockout gave me more issues Besides that I completed 3 other games (not on the list and one was allready above 70% completion). I will mention Bird Game+. Relaxing game that I could have finished faster if the easiest boss spawned sooner on Endless Mode. Maybe I should add it to the list above. ? Thinking about swapping or entering the new Turtles game as well. Oh well, maybe in the next update.

Popular Post Darling Baphomet
So unfortunately landlord drama has escalated (see my last status) and now we have no wifi whatsoever at my place, and I'm going to be leaving to stay with friends at the end of the month. Said friends live out in the boonies and only have a generator for power, so I probably won't be able to game while out there, which will likely be until August at the very least. So yeah, not likely to get much more done this event.
Popular Post Crispy_Oglop
Update 3 - Progress is crawling along with a small nudge in Dark Souls 3 with a couple more bosses being taken out of commission. From an art and environment design point of view, there are definitely some spots in this game that make it feel very much like Bloodborne, which I love even though it's slightly distracting at times. In general progress news - The construction company is still working in my house so it's been difficult to get much done at all. It was a two week job and it's now moving towards a full month of my house being part home, part building site. I'm anticipating them being done this week though so I will (hopefully) get back to a normal gaming schedule in the evenings. As soon as they are done, i'm going to crack open TMNT too! Popular Post Fanatixa1
Hi everyone, Here’s my update for the week. I’ve played a lot of Lego The Hobbit this week and I should be able to complete it this week. I got 100% on all the levels and I’m finishing up the open world now. Ive also played some Pic-a-pix Classic here and there. I like these kind of puzzles especially in between bigger games. Super Perils Of Baking is a pretty enjoyable platformer so far. It reminds me a bit of older Mario games. I’ve started a Survivor play through of the Last of Us remastered. What a great game! So far no new trophies, but getting all the collectibles and just enjoying the story once more. Next week I’m traveling to the Netherlands (I’m in Spain now) to go to a festival. I won’t be taking my PS4 but will take my Vita. I’ll probably add Danganronpa 2 to my list, but not sure yet for which game I’ll change it. Have a good week everyone! Popular Post TalesofGaming
Update 3: 1. Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life - 51% -> 100% 6/14/22 2. Maneater - 0% -> 93% 6/20/22 3. NieR - 1% 4. SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom - Rehydrated - 0% 5. LEGO Harry Potter Collection: Years 1-4 - 0% Made a ton of progress since last week! I finally got that cow "nice" scene to show up in Harvest Moon. It was pretty straightforward after that getting the platinum. I enjoyed the game up to about Chapter 3. After that it was pretty boring. I started Maneater and got the platinum within a few days! Started the Truth Quest DLC and should be able to finish it later today or tomorrow. It's a pretty decent game. I can't ever say no to more collectible trophies. ?
Popular Post rcrharvick
Update for 6/21: Angry Video Game Nerd I & II Deluxe - 26% Ratchet and Clank 2: Going Commando (Vita) - 5% The Last of Us: Remastered - 32% Assassins's Creed 2 - 0% LEGO Batman 3 (PS3) - 100 % Sly 3 (PS3) - 0% The Saboteur - 100% Dirt 5 (PS4) - 23% LEGO Incredibles - 0% The Walking Dead Season 1 (PS4) - 0% Finished the Saboteur this weekend. Great game, but was really tired of the freeplay items by the end of it lol. Started Dirt 5 next and have been powering thru it so far. Didn't play as much Ratchet and Clank on my trip as I had hoped. But I'll make sure it doesn't get forgotten about. Popular Post gruffiiti
Once again I seem to be chasing trophies in games that are getting online servers shut down soon. Everybody's Golf is scheduled to go down in September and Tera (possibly?) at the end of June. Nothing like a little pressure to finally clear up games you been meaning to get to for years. Switching out AC: Origins for Tera right now as Im making a push to get that completed this week. I may add it back to my list though if I have time later this summer. Everybody's Golf Haven't played too much lately but am slowly working on ranking up so I can unlock the VS characters. I will make a push to get that done in early July so I have plenty of time to get those daily VS matches done before shut down in September. Tera I started this game with @Man of Inaction back in 2018 and we quickly lost interest as it wasn't as interesting at it looked. We did come back to it a few times over the years but it never really clicked with us. When it was announced that the PC servers were scheduled to be taken offline at the end of June we figured we better get it done in case the console servers went down at the same time. When I relaunched the game I found out that my near max level character was no where to be found. I don't know what happened to it but it was either shell out roughly $40cdn to buy a max level scroll or grind out the levels again from scratch. So many times I almost bit the bullet and bought the scroll but Im determined to beat this F2P game without paying to win. We did bust out the 2 platinum gatekeeper trophies by hunting all the World Bosses so I think I will be able to knock out the rest of it this week if I stay focused. Everybody's Golf - 21% --> 44% Assassin's Creed : Origins - 2% Tera - 28% --> 46% South Park: The Fractured But Whole - 1% Deliver Us The Moon - 0% Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep - 0% Elden Ring - 100% Swaps (1/3) Complete (1/6)
Popular Post Zvetiki
Three weeks already? Slow progress here, was busy on the PC. I started Song of Memories one and a half years ago, but abandonded it due to time constraints and just never got around to finish it. When the (excellent!) guide arrived here, it triggered me to revisit and finally finish it. And it's a good VN; on the list of Best VNs which are not Steins;Gate certainly near the top. All the girls are likeable, and the male protagonist is not a complete doofus. (In some games (Muv-Luv!!) I felt genuinely sorry for the girls that I had to hook them up with the protagonist.) Interesting Sci-Fi/catastrophy story, though it is advisable to tune your suspension of disbelief to 11. PS: Natsume best girl. I consider FF XIII and XIII-2 among the best games on the X360, but Lightning Returns a disastrous ending to the series. The decision to have an open world game with an intransparent time limit is just fundamentally broken, fighting feels too much like button mashing in contrast to the more tactical fights in XIII, and the visuals are a step backwards as well. I tried it two or three times on the X360, and now for the second time on the PS3; nope, I am not forcing myself to the Platinum only for this contest. Replacement: The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles * Song of Memories PS4 (38% → 100%) * Flatland Prologue PS4 (24% → 32%) * The Tower of Beatrice PSV (12%) * Final Fantasy XIII-3: Lightning Returns PS3 (5% → 10%) * Tamashii PS4 (1%) * Code: Realize ~Future Blessings~ PSV (0%) * The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles PS4 (0%) Swaps used: 1/3. MidnightDragon
13 hours ago, Darling Baphomet said: So unfortunately landlord drama has escalated (see my last status) and now we have no wifi whatsoever at my place, and I'm going to be leaving to stay with friends at the end of the month. Said friends live out in the boonies and only have a generator for power, so I probably won't be able to game while out there, which will likely be until August at the very least. So yeah, not likely to get much more done this event. Just do what you can. You can always do it again in the fall.
