Popular Post Shrooba
Finished my first game for the event, and also the first game I've ever done to have a bounty, Trackmania 2020! Just like Trackmania Turbo, the Trackmania series is a platforming and precision-based racing series made by the developers from Nadeo/Ubisoft. Whereas Turbo focused on four different vehicles through different environments, Trackmania 2020 instead opted to focus on just the Stadium (F1 looking) vehicle, instead having multiple different terrain types such as dirt, ice, grass, and plastic, which would each drastically change your turning, grip, and speed depending on how you drive on them... Well, just up until recently, with their addition of the Winter 2024 campaign, as they've now added the Snow Car 😅 The Snow Car's essentially got a greater turning angle, at the cost of overall speed. It's actually very interesting using the Snow Car, as whilst the speed you'd gain with the Stadium vehicle would sometimes force you to release the throttle or even brake mid-turn, the challenge of the Snow Car is to not turn too sharply, otherwise you'll lose speed-- so somewhat of an inverse! The main big challenge of this game is to earn a total of 290 author medals-- 200 from the official campaign tracks, and 90 from the user-submitted Track of the Days. I've gotta say, I do think they're about even in terms of difficulty, even now. The campaign tracks, made by Nadeo, feature 25 new tracks every season, ranging from 5 of each coloured tier, from White, Green, Blue, Red, and Black, each increasing in difficulty, and generally time as well. If anyone's played Turbo before, this'll all sound familiar, since these coloured tiers have been a long-standing staple of the series! The TOTD's by users, meanwhile, are a lot more expressive, featuring awesome sights and any ideas you can think of-- heck, even one track was based on a remade Sonic Adventure 2 boss in Sonic Generations. I'm not kidding, there's some great stuff in there. While you can reliably get some more doable author medals from the White, Green, and some Blue tracks in the official campaign, the TOTD's, while you only need less than half of what the campaign demands, is still a tough challenge. Generally speaking, the users' author medals for their tracks can be quite brutal! 😅 And while you're guaranteed around 12 or 13 doable campaign tracks every few months in the campaign, it isn't often now that an easy TOTD author medal comes around. Well, it's either something "easy", or absolutely insane like the fun LoL maps that arrive around the 1st of each month... Yeah, the users like to make troll maps, and there's somehow been a culture around them being highlighted at the beginning of each month, that's Trackmania alright! 😂 Speaking of user-made content, another in-game mode fueled by it is the multiplayer team-based Royal mode, which'll earn you the last tricky trophy, Blackbelt Champion. In Royal, you're tasked, with groups of three, to go as far as you can into user-made tracks built specifically for Royal, which feature dedicated coloured sections up to Black. Very recently, Nadeo made some big changes to it. Before (when I earned the trophy), you essentially had to beat each coloured section of a Royal track once to proceed to the next, from White, Green, Blue, Red and Black, with a time limit of about 2 and a half minutes. If your team can progress further, you earn more points to secure your position, otherwise being ranked low in points could risk your team of elimination. And if you were stuck on a coloured section, if a teammate managed to get ahead, then you could respawn to the next section. Now however, that's all been thrown out the window. 😅 How it works now, is that while you have 6 or so minutes for each track, you'll need to complete each coloured tier about 3-4 times to progress to the next, thanks to the new stars system. You'll have up to 10 stars to earn for each tier, which range from setting the fastest time, gold time, silver, and bronze, depending on what others set. More often than not, you'll get Gold, earning 3 stars, so it's been changed quite a bit! All in all, a great game (although there was pain and agony while doing so 😂) and I'm really happy to have this done so soon, and in only 103 hours! I suppose Turbo paid off-- actually, on that matter, I'd say that if you can finish either Trackmania game, then you've got what it takes to do the other one! Good luck to anyone else who dives into this great series! 🫡 Here's my tier right now! 1. Trackmania 2020 (PS5) - 1.10% - DONE 2. Grand Theft Auto IV (100%) - 0.49% 3. Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds - 1.79% 4. BlazBlue: Centralfiction - 3.15% 5. Red Dead Redemption 2 - 2.42% Edited January 11 by Shrooba

Before, I think you used to have access to all 25 campaign tracks each current season for free, which has now been limited to the 10 White and Green tracks. However, the user-submitted Track of the Days always required a subscription I believe (alongside allowing you to access all prior official campaign tracks). Luckily, this game's paid model is yearly rather than the usual monthly, so there's tons of time to get it done! You got this! 😎 Edited January 11 by Shrooba
OBSTINATIO
Does anyone keep track of the games everyone is completing? I think it would be nice if there would be a list of games at the end of the year showing the most popular games beyond the MW-Games. For example I noticed three fellow hunters completed Limbo if I counted correctly and two already Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime.

So, if anyone completed an UR already and still desires to sign up, the completed UR will count until the end of January. After that...only games completed after sign up will count

XCOM 2 0.87/0.39 rarity, 52% completed 4. The Forest 3,61 rarity, 50% completed --> replaced by Limbo (ps4 version) 2.31 rarity, 23% completed 5. Amnesia Collection 3,69/0.88, 48% completed --> replaced by Disco Elysium (ps4 version) 4.76/1.83 rarity, 27% completed Did do FIFA 21 as i only needed one trophy, which was playing all the skill mode games. Unfortunately, I had PTSD from FIFA 20, so I remembered that the trophy 'Perfection' was to complete the MP drill games, and therefore wasted an hour or 2 completing those only to find out that the trophy description was different in 21. Anyone familiar with FIFA 11, FIFA 14 or something similar knows what this game is about. Nothing much has changed except that the added the incredibly boring Volta mode in FIFA 19, which drains all the life out of you. This was the last FIFA i bought, as I have simply grown tired of it, both the games itself and the trophies involved in each game. I wished this was my last FIFA, but a divine intervention from Sony giving FIFA 22 for free last year means that I have one more FIFA to complete, but that will not be this year. Get lost EA. Difficulty: 5/10 or 2/10 for experienced FIFA players Enjoyment: 1.5/10 I have replaced Amnesia with Limbo as I don't see myself going through The Dark Descent again on hardcore mode, normal mode was enough for me, and Disco Elysium is in, since i originally though that a UR non-platinium trophy had to be earned for it to count, and the Forest is without a bounty, so it can wait. I will probably finish Limbo before the end of next week, just have to concentrate, as I die the most annoying places all the time being unfamiliar with platformer games. I think next time will be my 10th attempt.
Popular Post CabDK
Dangerous Golf, the 2nd game on my tier 1 list done. I thought the game would be fun, and it was for the first 20 out of the 197 medals you need to get. After getting 100 platinum medals in all single player levels, you have to do the exact same levels again earning gold medals in the entire co-op campaign with a second controller. The game isn't particularly difficult, it feels more like a huge buggy grind with horrible controls. In the game you control a golf ball and you need to destroy as much at possible to keep the ball going in each level, when you have depleted your "Smashbreaker" you have to putt the ball and bank your points. Popular Post Baker
Finished my first game so I will post my first list. 1. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II 2. Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time 3. Devil May Cry 5 4. Dirt Rally 2.0 5. Weird West Some of these game look very familiar.. Not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. I had my fun with it. I’m talking about Modern Warfare III ofcourse. All trophies are easy but there is a terrible 50k zombie kill grind to do. Now instead of farming kills which is just too boring for me I decided to do all calling card challenges, grab all crafting schematics and run through all the act missions solo. Which isn’t fast at all as I’ve now played zombie mode for 80 hours. I will still continue with this as I haven’t quite finished everything yet. I don’t know why but I had the strange urge to post my trophy card here. There must be a reason for it.. What could it be? Popular Post asdfghjkl95
Tier 1 1. FIFA 21 (ps4 version) 1.19 rarity, 100% completed 2. Slay the Spire 3.53/3.00 rarity, 38% completed 3. XCOM 2 0.87/0.39 rarity, 52% completed 4. Limbo (ps4 version) 2.31 rarity, 100% completed 5. Disco Elysium (ps4 version) 4.76/1.83 rarity, 27% completed Finished Limbo on the ps4. Very interesting game, and provides a very unique experience. It's actually unbeilable that a short game on minimal budget without any dialogue can create a much richer story and thematic resonance than a triple AAA Ubishit game that has endless dialogue. Limbo is a very visual experience that to great effect uses light, darkness and it's environment to guide the player through the journey. I especially liked how it managed to transition well from the cruel, barbaric and unpredictable nature filled with danger to a more cold, mechanised, complex but also predictable abandoned society dictated by technology, and is probably even more dangerous than seen previously. We also see this in the puzzles and challenges that become more complex and punishing, but it's also more systematic in it's rules and the approach you have to make. It's also a game that provides varied perceptions, ideas and theories on the nature of the games story. I took it literal and removed the title from my interpretation of the game, but I have seen in a video that the interpretation of the game is more likely to have more religious motives. In that way the game succeeded in it's ability to make the player wonder and think about more than just playing a game, offering different perspectives and conclussions. In terms of gameplay, it's obvious that platformers is not for me. It probably doesn't help that the first platformer besides Crash Bandicoot I choose to play is a fairly challenging game, not so much playing the game itself, but mostly the trophy of completing a game like this in less than 5 deaths. I didn't like how crucial it was pressing the cross button to jump correctly, I died many times unnecessarily due to unfamiliarity with the genre. I probably have more attempts than the average user here (I think there are 3 who have completed it already in this thread). The worst my last run, where I was so familiar with the entire game that I watched football on my PC. Alex Moreno for Aston Villa and I forget to jump having the parasite in my head leading to an early death. Got so mad, especially since it was an offside and it didn't even count, almost uninstalled. Luckily I managed to beat it anyway with 4 deaths. Lastly on the puzzles, I think they strike the perfect balance between hard and intuitive. I think we have all gone to YT at least once to get a solution to a puzzle, but I managed to go through the game without it, because while hard it manages to make all it's puzzles intuitive Difficulty 8/10 due to my inexperience with the genre, but probably a 5/10 Enjoyment 8.5/10 for story and 5/10 for gameplay A few months will probably pass by without anything from me, as tLoU part II and FFVII Rebirth is on the horizon, the only two new games I have intention of buying and playing this year. Au Revoir for now.

Popular Post dieselmanchild
Tier 1 Slender: The Arrival - (2.19% 💯) Battlefield 3 - (2.74%/0.89%) Vessel - (2.67%) OlliOlli World Ziggurat ===== Vessel - (2.67%) This one really surprised me. It looked interesting, but I can’t lie, it was the bundle of URs and seemingly easy difficulty/short length that piqued my interest more than anything else. But it ended up being quite a pleasant surprise, and more challenging than I expected. Vessel is a 2D puzzle-platformer that leans far more into the puzzles than platforming. It has a nice hand drawn art style and an interesting steampunk-esque vibe as it’s set in a world full of warehouses, factories, and underground caverns that are all teeming with massive industrial machines powered by steams, gasses, and various liquids. Your character is some kind of mad scientist/inventor who wears a backpack device fitted with a hose and nozzle that allows you to collect, store, and spray these various liquids substances, and the gameplay and puzzles revolve around manipulating these liquids and combining them with different types of seeds to create “fluros”, which are little living liquid beings that run around and serve various functions. In the beginning the fluros you create are very basic, made only of water and serve only to carry out simple tasks like standing on pressure switches which are out of reach, but as you progress throughout the game you will eventually be able to make fluros out of a wide range of different liquids and to serve a range of different functions that can often play off one another in clever ways. Just like the fluros, the puzzles and machines also start out quite simple, but very rapidly scale in size and complexity, eventually requiring many different types of fluros to operate simultaneously and use their various abilities in tandem with one another. Part of the difficulty of the game is the large rng element of trying to get your fluros to do exactly what you want them to do and go where you want them to go, and so there can be a whole lot of trial and error involved. Thankfully the game has very frequent checkpoints and a handy menu option to reset your current puzzle at any point if you mess things up, so it really encourages you to experiment and try different things without fear of making a fatal mistake. ===== I’ve also been making progress in a couple other games since my last update: - OlliOlli World - 30% - Call of Duty: BlackOps - 67% - All main game and multiplayer stuff finished, just starting to work on the zombies and DLCs - Moto Racer 4 - 23%. Got all the big 10-player multiplayer trophies done so I’ll be chipping away at the single player stuff slowly from here on.

Popular Post maisie666
Master of the Custodial Arts 0.56% First of all, this is a really good game about cleaning up dust with brooms, vacuum and pompoms. Its PSN 10 year anniversary is just around the corner, its an PS3 indie from 2014, around the time a lot of very good games were made. Soundtrack is excellent, Art style is very pleasing to me, and the platforming is pretty unique and for the most part very engaging. Its the perfect indie game. I was trying to decide on a platformer from backlog, and the title screen won me over. I did the online trophy(which takes about a minute), then waited a year before finally firing it up, then over the next couple weeks got the bronze, silver and gold levels finished. A very enjoyable experience. The apple collection is a total adventure. However after this point, my enjoyment of this game took a bit of a nosedive for a while. The final 8 levels are significantly more difficult, and there isn t much handholding. Most of these later levels are difficult, but still kind of fun. Zetta level might be the most fun a platformer can be. Giga is superb. Fucking Giga posts, how do they work? I still don t know. Hideout is great, and Abyss was best gold level imo. The Mega tunnel stands out as the worst part of this game for me. By the time i could do it after 8 hours for a 8 second section, i d erased 2 weeks of muscle memory, and was so frazzled i couldnt remember basic inputs. Here's a quote by the guide author at PST that spoke to me to me a little bit at the time. "This game is hellish and annoying to play and I definitely would never recommend it. Cloudberry was much more enjoyable than this one. Be ready to die over and over due to strict timings and super hard controls in one of the most frustrating games ever made. Best of luck to you." Lol, its got that quality. Anyway i started again in january trying to make a little progress on Yotta level each day. Yotta takes all the hardest parts of the hard levels and smashes them together into a massive super level where every input is a challenge. With a Mega mega tunnel at the start. Awesome. But i made progress, and finally cracked Yotta yesterday. It took 5 runs, and about 15hrs to get this one done. I messed up the glitch(theres a finesse glitch that is awesome), missed dust, got a crash, and just plain couldnt do the platforming, but finally got there. The final section has a bad reputation, but its just a skill check to see if you have air control. It might be my favorite part of the game, no time to think with inputs on autopilot, only a couple really tough moves, got to check the dust as you go. total focus. I did Exa last, couple reasons. First of all i couldnt previously make a dent in it. Second the trophy is bugged on 1.00 where you play because of the beneficial glitch. I figured if the trophy didnt pop i could reload a save, and replay EXA on 1.01 to possibly fix the problem. Exa with the Yotta training was easy, and took about an hour. Game is superb, but has some tough times getting skills to the required level. I dont play many platformers, and wasn t sure until a couple days ago it was going to work out in my favour. Happy to have this one in the bank and be the 24th achiever. Bit of a journey, and for the most part quite fun. I d also like to make a shoutout to Saint Mark who pioneered the Tera Skip. Couple resources i found useful if anyone has been looking for a good platformer. It takes some tenacity, but its a very doable trophy list(with finesse glitch of course) The PSNP trophy guide. https://psnprofiles.com/guide/2666-dustforce-trophy-guide The PST trophy guide has some detailed strats for the later levels. https://www.playstationtrophies.org/game/dustforce/guide/ Both PST and PSNP forums are informative. https://www.playstationtrophies.org/forum/forum/2627-dustforce/ tier 1. 1.
