Popular Post Superbuu3
#185 Color Guardians Legendary Win all trophies in the game! This game was one of the PS plus line up and I even had previously made videos for it but I had a few trophies I hadn't done. This is definitely a game you want to play in one go, as the natural muscle memory you pick up on beating te earlier levels makes the later levels a lot easier. This has a genuinely annoying final boss, that requires very fast reactions times, took me a few tries but I managed to get it done and get the trophy for not dying on the final level. One of the trophies seems semi glitch where you have to beat a level with all characters seems you have to play all 4 characters back to back in one sitting or the trophy doesnt pop. I think this is more fun then you'd expect, it might look kiddy and easy, but at its core its just a fast paced game relying on reaction time. I personaly dont think games like that are ever really bad, I'd say this is mediocre overall just because ultimately despite some difficulty the game is still extremely simple. I definitely think some people will find this game nigh on impossible to platinum, if there reaction time is generally bad.
Popular Post Omelette Paradise
#174 Gravity Rush Remastered I played the Vita version of Gravity Rush way back in 2013 and it already feels like a lifetime ago. It was my 8th platinum in total and the 4th that I had earned on Vita (Virtua Tennis 4, Metal Gear Solid 3 and Motorstorm RC were the first three). To this day, Gravity Rush remains my favourite Vita game of all time. In terms of the game quality itself, my overall enjoyment of the game, and the way that the game utilised the capabilities of the handheld. There have been plenty of great games released on the handheld since then that I have enjoyed, but none of them have come close to Gravity Rush. So naturally when a PS4 remaster of the game was announced I was eager to play it ? Running through the game on PS4, the first thing I noticed was that the game felt a lot easier. The story missions were never that difficult to me on Vita but some of the challenge missions were tricky due to how the game demanded that you managed the handheld's motion camera. In particular, i'm looking at the sliding challenges. I remember those missions being a bit of a nightmare. Thankfully those are a lot easier on PS4 since you can disable the motion sensor entirely in the game settings. I enjoyed the story just as much as I did first time around. There were actually bits and pieces of it that I didn't even notice first time. On a side note, Kat is a very appealing and likeable character. A perfect protagonist for a game like this. Raven was an intriguing character and I'm looking forward to discovering more of her back story in Gravity Rush 2 which will be my next platinum ? If you've never played Gravity Rush because you don't own a Vita, I urge you to give it a try on PS4. More people need to discover this underrated gem ?
ArmoredSnowman
9 hours ago, TheLordBishop said: Just found out about this site and said to myself why not brag a bit? Here are my Platinums since I bought the PS4 8 months ago. Used to be an XBox player, but I'm loving PS4 even more (the trophy system is great and getting a Plat is sooo satisfying!). #1 Plat Horizon Zero Dawn Enjoyment: 9 Difficulty: 2 Still marveling at dem graphics o.o great story and background that needs to be explored in further titles! #2 Plat Nier: Automata Enjoyment: 9 Difficulty: 3 Loved the story, soundtrack (still listening to it after months) and the different types of gameplay. Didn't like the farming for rare items. But still a blast. #3 Plat Life Is Strange Enjoyment: 8 Difficulty: 1 Excellent story, maybe a bit too confusing in the last chapter. Got very emotional at the end of ch. 3. Waiting for the prequel to get a discount! #4 Plat Uncharted The Lost Legacy Enjoyment: 8 Difficulty: 3 Would have rated enjoyment higher but had to replay it three times, it was starting to get on my nerves. Chloe and Nadine have a great chemistry - and loved the addition of that third character #5 Plat Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back Enjoyment: 7,5 Difficulty: 7 Had really a hard time working some relics. The game is fantastic - I'm just a low-average platformer Literally jumped and hugged my friend as I finally beat Hangin' Out's gold time. F**k that level haha #6 Plat Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped Enjoyment: 8 Difficulty: 4 After completing the aforementioned CB2, I breezed through the game and did the relics almost always at first try. Not even trying to complete the first in the trilogy haha. #7 Plat Uncharted 4: A Thief's End Enjoyment: 9 Difficulty: 3,5 The game is magnificent. Tweaks come in handy, too. Loved it. Almost broke the controller whilst speedrunning haha. Proceeding now with some clean-up; my next Plat will probably be Tearaway Unfolded, let's see! I mean the Uncharted 4 speedrun takes like 5 minutes doing the glitch.

Popular Post Masamune
Ultimate Fencer Obtained all the trophies."No one decides my fate except me!" Even more enjoyable that the original (& that was pretty good), I really regret canceling my pre-order when this first came out (especially considering what I swapped it to... FFXV). When I heard it was just a re-release with a couple different endings, I lost most of my interest in it... huge mistake, it's not just different endings (2 main ones, & multiple character endings), but 2 new storylines (different enough to feel like a completely different game). It also had some new playable characters & a better battle system too. Hard to say which of the 3 stories I liked best, they all have their pros/cons... but if I had to pick one (click at your own risk): Spoiler I'd probably go with the Evil Goddess ending, that seems like the most "True" type ending. Sherman still ends up a villain (unlike in the Vile God version), however he's not as... bat-shit crazy as he is in the original. The worst thing about it is that Apollonius dies in this version, & Galdo also gets the crap beat out of him & becomes unavailable for most of the game (he does live though, which is better than what happens to him in the Vile God version). As for the good stuff, you get Marianna as a party member (as well as some guy who I didn't even bother to learn his name ). For the Vile/Evil endings, you can also get character endings too, which is a huge plus. This ending pretty much says there's going to be a sequel too (which I will definitely pre-order if/when that happens)! I highly recommend playing this, both if you have or haven't played the original back on PS3. I still need to go back & beat the original again on this account, it's going to feel like a demo now compared to this one. Difficulty: 3/10 (free DLC makes it a cake-walk) Enjoyment: 10/10 Time Played: 40:00:00 (4 days, 11 hours, 6 minutes) Technically it only took me about 37 hours, but I had to let it sit for the 40 hour trophy (& I even got all my characters to Lv999, & learned all their abilities/skills too). Screenshot: Spoiler Some of you may remember my last Platinum I posted from FFIX & how it was affected by that damn icon glitch (that was the second time it happened to a plat of mine... the first was Berseria), which really ticked me off... Well you know what? Here's number #*%^!?$ three! I obviously already fixed the above one, but what the hell? That icon glitch only happened one other time throughout the whole game, & then it just decided to show it's ugly generic face for my Platinum again?! *sigh* Mustn't give into anger, think happy thoughts... happy thoughts...
Popular Post Jounochi
Platinum #111 - Horizon Zero Dawn (PS4) Wow... this one was a mixed bag for me... I really liked and disliked this game. One of the only things in this game that I really enjoyed was the story. It is really well written and I was super addicted to learning everything about the world that Aloy was in. I was blown away by the beginning and ending, but the middle felt a little drawn out.The combat felt great and setting traps, especially on the tougher difficulties, was a lot of fun. Stealth kills are almost like mini-puzzles and really helped shed some of the pack before engagement. If you attack someone on the outside of a camp and are unable to kill them EVERYONE within a square mile will be alerted which was very annoying. The story and combat though were overshadowed by all of things I struggled with. In parkour segments I would jump to a very obvious ledge that I very obviously should be able to jump to, but the game jumps in and is like, "nah, you wanted this peg waaaaaaaaaayyyy down here." I fought the fucking game almost EVERY FUCKING TIME THERE WAS A CLIMBING SECTION!!!Frame rate was fairly consistent but I had moments that I'm pretty sure I hit single digit frames.VO was all over the place from really good to very bad, and when you talk to people the camera fixes on the character that is talking and really they should have opted for a third person adjustable camera (Like in Witcher). Because the camera is fixed I found myself, for some reason, feeling less connected to the characters I was interacting with.I really wanted to enjoy this game as much as everyone else, but I come out of this experience bitter.Game Rating: 5/10Platinum Difficulty: 2/10

Popular Post X_Wizi_X
#73 Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eaten Collect all trophies Speaking of trophies, Snake: all the trophies can be obtained while playing on very easy difficulty, making the game difficulty really low (for example you can use the EZ Pistol from start to put asleep 99% of enemies). If you want some kind of challenge you have to play at least at Normal difficulty. The game has a lot of missable trophies, but using some (good) guide you should have no problem. The trickiest parts were Spoiler hitting the Kerotans during the bike chase, but using the RPG made 4 of 7 Kerotans challenge easier. Speaking about the mission, "John": MGS3 story and Snake Eater song make this a 10/10 game. The ending moments were sublime. Personal Enjoyment: 9/10 Personal Difficulty: 3/10 (if played on very easy) Edited November 4, 2017 by X_Wizi_X

Popular Post Superbuu3
#186 Destroy All Humans! 2 Make War, Not Love Unlock all other trophies. This game is an easy although somewhat time consuming platinum. A bunch of people would have this from the Humble Bundle. Its significantly better tahn its predecessor, but the difficulty randomly spikes, which can lead to frustration. It has defence and escort missions, out of the 3 escort missions the first two are stupidly long and difficult, whereas the third the AI character can two shot the toughest villains in the game. I genuinely thought this was horrid design as by the last one you have decent weapons to fight your way through. Thankfully you gain radars for the collectibles as you progress through the game although you will likely have most just while running around doing missions. This game might annoy some people as there's lot of people imitating foreign accents and its horrible, also its kinda offensive to everyone, but the MC is an alien who wants to kill everyone so it fits with him. I personally didnt like the humour but some people will love it i'm sure, the package joke gets old by the first time it was mentioned in the game for me. This is already my third platinum for november so i seem to be on a roll.

Popular Post Beyondthegrave07
#59 Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Difficulty: 2/10 Fun: 8/10 Recommend: Yes Favorite quote; "Don't worry! You'll be back in time for a B.J. and a bologna sandwich." - Mike Toreno Spoiler In the words of Ice Cube, "I can't believe today was a good day." This platinum was a lot easier than I expected especially considering that I was never able to beat it as a teenager without using cheats. Yet, here I am, nearly 10 years older and 10X smarter... well at least when it comes to GTA games. Things like 1. Body armor will save your tits 2.The quickest way isn't always the easiest way. 3. Just follow your targets... don't worry about killing them. They'll eventually do it to themselves. 4. Have ammo... Lots of ammo 5. The turtle wins the race because the hare will without a doubt get wasted. (You learn a lot in 10 years) My favorite part of the game though, had to be the beat the cock triathlon. There's a hilarious method where you start the triathlon, grab a nearby helicopter (or use a jetpack) and skip all the checkpoints and go straight to the biking section. Essentially, you grab every single bike except 1 and ride it straight into the water. Stay on the last bike (your bike) until all the contestants reach the shore after the swimming section. They will sit there with a thumb up their bum trying to grab the bikes in the water. Then, you go back to the beginning and pretty much just do the race and you end up just racing by yourself. I cracked up laughing as I passed those fools! The game is fantastic, but it still has it's flaws. The aiming system is still a mess and encountered several glitches. Some worked to my advantage and others to my utter disadvantage. Oh well, you win some. You lose some.

Popular Post D-Tron
#130 - Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony Harmony's Last Reward Holy hell I finally beat all of those extra modes fiusdbnvjfhuiasydbfkjadsygkljasdbgfakjlbgybichdcusdgsfgt4839e789dycvuifvhfu thank god!!! Danganronpa V3's base game was better than the first two. They finally got rid of that shitty, confusing absorb bullet in class trials (I can't even remember what it's called other than really annoying and stupid) and replaced it with lie bullets which is a great system that encourages the player to explore different routes and change the truth. Debate Scrums were also really fun (albeit really easy) and it's the closest thing you're ever going to get to shooting truth bullets as other characters. The story and class trials were intense and awesome just like the first two games. But overall this platinum trophy was a PAIN!!! Just when I thought playing school mode and island mode was stupid enough, these devs throw in not only another school mode but TWO more modes. One of which is actually longer than school mode and a full playthrough of this game COMBINED! I love Danganronpa but just no more... game modes... Danganronpa V3's platinum can be summarized with a video from one of my favorite youtuber's ProZD: I also couldn't get a screenshot because Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: (Actual game: 9/10) (Platinum: 3/10) Edited November 5, 2017 by Blue Flare

Popular Post Eyjabria
Yomawari: Midnight Shadows (PS4) Shadows at Midnight Earned all other trophies I really enjoyed Yomawari: Midnight Shadows. The cute visuals create a stark contrast with the disturbing events presented in the game. The atmosphere is quite terrifying and the creature designs are creepy. Brilliant audio design and the game mechanics which make you lose stamina fast when you're near threats kept a constant pressure and uneasiness in the gameplay. My husband was watching me play and he was very tense just seeing the horrors unfold. In addition to outdoor spaces we get a taste of survival horror in indoor settings like a library, an empty building and a train car. The dark story about two friends' strong bond is very good and you get to piece things together based on notes you find. At some point I was wondering what the hell is going on and even after clearing the main story everything was not fully explained and you get to make your own deductions and interpretations, which I think is a very positive thing. The sequel caters to fans of Yomawari: Night Alone as the majority of the nearby town (which is the town from the first game) can be explored and you get to meet the first game's protagonist - as well as some familiar spirits. The game isn't difficult but there are lots of trial and error type of situations which are sometimes quite frustrating. I had died over 80 times before I was halfway through the story chapters. Thankfully save points are aplenty so you get back to action quickly. If survival horror genre is your thing, do yourself a favor and try Yomawari. And play it in the dark like the game asks you in the beginning. Fittingly this platinum took me to PSN lv 13 on All Saints' Day.
Popular Post YuuMonMu
Final Fantasy X: HD Remaster Completion "Obtain all available trophies." Wow, this was an adventure for sure. This is my hardest game I ever had to platinum. The game itself is fun, never got why most disliked it besides the laughing scene everyone keeps bringing up. But I digress. Many of the trophies did get on my nerves like the Lightning Dancer where I had to DODGE 200 lightning strikes in a row, playing lots of Blitzhball just to get Wakka's weapon, items and overdrives, which made me dislike the mini-game. And the Dark Aeons with the overpower damaging, 1-hit OKs, and bad status effects, which I had to grind and farm items to build up the character stats and protection against awful status effects. OH THAT alone added 10+ hours! But when I finally beat the game and filled the last sphere, I cried. I actually cried tears of joy. Love the game, but not 100%ing this again! Popular Post Dragon-Archon
#166 and #8,000: Valkyrie Drive Bhikkhuni Another series from the creator of Senran Kagura. It's easy to see the similarities in characters and controls. The story is interesting and while the game is entertaining, it also has its flaws. There are only 7 playable characters and most range from great to likable, with the exception of Mana and Manpukumaru. Mana is a backstabbing bitch who only looks out for her own interests and Manpukumaru is annoying and also reminded me a lot of Hibari from Senran Kagura, which is an instant dislike. Some of the controls are a bit buggy, most notable is the Phantom Delude, where players dash towards a target, then dodge right before an enemy attack hits. The idea behind this move is great, but the move hardly ever works and the timing seems way off. And worst of all: there's a challenge that requires 2 successful consecutive Phantom Deludes. There's also an extremely pointless exp grind. To put things into comparison: completing story mode, survival mode, and challenge mode yields about 1.5 million exp. So that means another 3.5 million needs to be grinded. Also all characters can be fully maxed out with 1.9 million exp. If there's ever a sequel, I hope these flaws are fixed.
Popular Post Superbuu3
#187 The Deadly Tower of Monsters Laundry list Complete all other missions My 4th plat of the month, I'm clearing out backlog so I'm just going through the smaller games on my hard drive. This is one from PS Plus and is insanely short, I think this could easily be done in 3-4 hours. I wouldn't recommend purchasing this, as the game seems over priced. For a freebie on PS plus it is entertaining though. I liked how the game is presented as a DVD commentary by the director of the movie (which is the game you are playing). The game has bad graphics or low budget effects to basically rip it out of old B-movies. It was these aspects of the game that kept me playing. Plus at how short it is the basic gameplay and the novelty of the commentary last just about long enough for you to finish the game just about I was curious how the ending was going to play out so I enjoyed it throughout. Even if you do things like idle the director makes comments about it. I just thought the whole thing was a really cool idea. Man I wish Stanley Parable was on consoles.
