Popular Post slender_adrian
#104 Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 5/10 Grind: 1/10 Time: 13 Hours (20 Hours real time) Rarity: [Ultra Rare 2.2% / Rare 11.87%] "Yeah, let's go all the way to Hell." There are 3 things of DMC2 that I like; Its opening, Trish and the credits. I played with Lucia first, my main goal was to get this platinum as fast as possible so getting Lucia playthrough out of the way was my first move. This time I didn't even bother with the story, I don't have a clue was going on in this game, since I forgot all of its story ever since I platinum the ps3 version. This was the only playthrough I did with Lucia and it took 2:33 hours real time. Then it was time for Dante, and that means shooting everything! Nahhh it's way faster to use the sword, when it's not a gun fight you're in hahaha. I believe this game save the DMC franchise and I'm not kidding, imagine this game not being the mess it is then Itsuno wouldn't never get the chance to redeem the team and make justice for DMC, although not his fault, he created the masterpiece DMC3 is and saved the franchise due to DMC2. And what about the platinum? well... Guess who had infinite devil trigger this time haha. There's no way in hell I was going to suffer with the torture of doing bloody palace again legit, thankfully the PS4 version has the DT cheat, I was screwed back on the PS3 and I had to sit down for 6 hours doing that nonsense but this time it only took me less than a hour. Finally I can start DMC3 which is going to be the last easy dmc plat, that is if I don't play the reboot later. After DMC3 I going for DMC5 wish me luck hahaha. You know what's the best part of being done with dmc2 twice? Yep never playing the game again... (i had fun this time playing dmc2 but don't tell anyone shhh!) Popular Post Phantochi
#243 - Spiderman Miles Morales just got the plat for Spider-Man miles morales and i’m somewhat disappointed of it. They had a pretty bad writing in this DLC of a game, the story is just so lackluster with so many problems, a little too simple with no risks and bad character development, and it was super short. Also, why the residents of Harlem kept referring to Miles as "their Spiderman"? That's kinda insulting since Peter literally almost died multiple times, brought back peace to New York, and made a sacrifice for everyone. The original is way better, the only reason to play this one is if you want to see some more "swagger" when you're web-swinging around the city.
Popular Post StraightVege
Conqueror of The Eldest #307 - Ultra Rare 4.84% 7th Fastest Achiever (6 days, 8 hours) Somewhat surprising to learn that this game was largely well-received by critics and fans alike. It's not exactly unprecedented for me to differ from the consensus, but rarely do I disagree so strongly. I sincerely wish I could see whatever it is others see in Eldest Souls, but I can't say I experienced much in the way of enjoyment over the course of my 25 hour struggle (and it seemed much lengthier). Frankly, bashing my skull against obnoxiously random, screen-spamming bosses for literally hundreds of attempts was about as fun as taking repeated crotch kicks from Bas Rutten himself. I also fail to see what's really "Soulslike" about it, other than difficult bosses and a vague (honestly meager and lazy) narrative. The gist of it is that, in the past, moon fragments seeded the world with both gods and humans, who eventually ended up warring when the humans got tired of their mistreatment. Ultimately, this conflict led to one particularly malevolent god, Eksyll, coming out on top, so he decides to imprison and corrupt the remaining gods by experimenting on them... I think? Well, I guess the moon wasn't pleased with this outcome, thus it sends down one last shard of itself, which becomes the player character: a tiny humanoid warrior, wielding a massive obsidian sword, who exists only to correct matters by slaying the deranged gods, including the nefarious Eksyll. Obviously, the odds are not in your favor, but since you're an immortal being, perseverance has to result in success eventually, right? Prepare to suffer countless brutal deaths and destroy your thumbs, in the process of learning how these bastards tick! To me, playing Eldest Souls felt pretty similar to another genre title I didn't get along with, Jotun, in that it's a melee-focused boss rush, viewed from an isometric perspective. The visual style here is certainly edgier, though, and it somehow manages to feature even more questionable boss mechanics and hitboxes than Jotun's disgusting Valhalla Mode did. I'm pleading with developers to stop implementing damageless trophies against bosses that are 90% RNG! For probably the first 10 hours, I had one hell of a time reading many of their attacks, or even discerning precisely what had hit me. Until you finally come to grips with these hectic battles, it just appears to be a muddled mess of confusing detritus filling the screen, and it's tough to comprehend how you're intended to respond. The experience had me feeling quite disheartened initially, as if I wasn't truly learning anything or making real progress, but simply getting lucky enough to win. One especially luck-dependent encounter required 252 attempts to beat without taking a hit, and felt more akin to torture than gaming. However, I would be remiss not to compliment some of the game's rather interesting systems. Firstly, there's nothing comparable to a consumable healing item such as the estus flask in Eldest Souls. Instead, the only manner of healing is to imbue your sword with a reddish aura by holding the square button to deliver a charged strike, allowing it to then leech health from your adversaries for a limited time. Furthermore, this vampiric weapon state unlocks a heavy attack on the circle button, called a Bloodburst, which is your primary means of doing significant damage and breaking the enemy's guard. It reminded me slightly of Bloodborne's rally mechanic, in how it encourages aggressive play—you simply must take risks if you want to recover; no retreating to sip on HP juice in relative safety. This makes tanking certain attacks a far more rewarding prospect than dodging through them with dashes, because it sets you up to cleave huge chunks out of your foe's life bar, while simultaneously restoring your own. It's probably the best aspect of Eldest Souls, and one of the few positive things I can think to say about it. I also liked the boss shard system, wherein each boss you defeat drops a shard with unique properties, which can be "infused" into various slots on your chosen fighting style's skill tree. Depending on where you decide to attach it, the effects it has on your attacks are often substantially different, providing some fairly deep build customization. For example, one causes your Bloodburst to inflict extra damage, at the cost of placing a burning status effect on you, while another very useful one will bestow the ability to instantly grapple into bosses from across the room, if placed in the active slot. As for the fighting styles themselves, you're offered the choice of three: Windslide, Berserker Slash, or Counter. Windslide conjures air magic projectiles and tornadoes; Berserker is all about doing as many Bloodburst attacks as possible, while buffing your damage; Counter is more defensive, letting you parry attacks and materialize a force field around yourself. Combined with the shards, the number of character build options afforded to you is impressive, although the Berserker class easily outperforms its competition by a wide margin, and seemingly everyone uses it to platinum the game. I assume the others are only worthwhile if you desire to challenge yourself to an even greater degree, for some masochistic reason. Of course, I did consider what changes could have improved my opinion of Eldest Souls, and landed on a few simple things: clearly telegraphed, readable attacks; a more pattern-based design approach/reduced randomness; inherent infinite dashes, rather than being limited to three until you acquire the Deer God's shard later on. As is, I found it to be an altogether frustrating slog, albeit one with several compelling ideas I wouldn't mind seeing reused and expanded upon in a future title, preferably by different developers. I should be feeling accomplished at overcoming such a punishing experience, yet I feel only relief that it's mercifully over—never a good sign, that. I really found myself longing for superior boss rush games like Furi and Titan Souls the whole while. To conclude, here's my recording of the three worst hitless fights, along with the platinum screenshot: Edited September 24, 2022 by StraightVege
Popular Post MakotoKaCun
Platinum # 115 Lapis x Labyrinth Abyssal Conqueror Finally after a long long grind the platinum trophy of this game is mine. It it really a very long grind as the RNG is bad. The overall story is rather simple, cause is just a simple hack n Slash rougue like game. But the more you play you will notice ithat most level are actually are pre make. Just you spawn location is difference. But anyway I will say it a fund game to play, but to get the platinum. Getting all the rare drop is very hard work. I was actually plan to do a guide for it, but feel like maybe best stay away from this game if you want your time to be use wisely haha. reaperveteran86
Platinum #294 Wailing Heights All Trophies obtained - 74,62% A fun but short musical adventure, where you can possess diferrent monsters, like a hipster vampire or the werwolf version of Larry Laffer. Sometimes hard to follow because every character speaks with a thic accent (I think it is irish, because the logo of Northern Ireland Screen pops up when you start the game, but I can be mistaken). Platinum #295 Chess Knights: Viking Lands Ragnarok - 59,63% I`m not a chess player, which doesn`t matter, because this is not a chess game. It borrows the chess figures and their movements and puts them in some sort of turn based strategy/stealth game, wich sounds cooler than it is, because most of the time the best strategy is to sacrifice most of your figures to get more space to move for the remaining ones. Platinum #296 TMNT: The Cowabunga Collection Splinter`s Favorite - 39,51% A collection of all Turtles games from Konami for the Nes, SNES, Mega Drive, Gameboy and the Arcades, with a ton of bonus material like packshots, manuals (man I miss those), concept illustrations and other things. Has cheat menus (which i didn`t use) and a rewind option (which I used a lot) for every game. My personal Top 3 from this collection: 1.Turtles in Time (SNES) 2.Turtles 3: The Manhattan Project (NES) 3. Fall of the Foot Clan (GB) or The Hyperstone Heist (MD)

Moridin83
# 229 Alwa's Awakening This was a fun relatively short retro style metroidvania. Not overly complicated, but with enough content that it wasn't just a beeline for the finish. The audio was well done, and the graphics were charmingly old-school. It does however, have a couple of trophies that would be a real pain without a guide. 2 individual trophies require some significant sequence breaking and usage of hidden mechanics, and then there's a full-game speedrun. Thankfully, @coldhardcrash_ has a very good guide up on this site(thanks for wiring that btw!), which makes all 3 of these readily achievable, but trying to do them on your own would be endlessly frustrating. The actual game difficulty is well balanced, but definitely doesn't coddle you, and with only 3 hits, some getting gud is in order. Definitely recommended.

Going free and a ton of new players has drastically dropped that! I'm sure it will start to creep back up once more people complete it. The start of this is quite slow and I wasn't enjoying it too much. Once you get a few movement abilities and the world really opens up it becomes a lot more fun. As someone who is not artistic in the slightest, I wasn't too interested in trying to put in tons of effort to random paintings and making the world look good, but the sheer level of colouring an entire game was a cool concept. In return you have a save file that is absolutely massive at 500mb - biggest I've ever seen - and a ton of bugs/slowdown including multiple crashes. The story was a little heavy-handed at times but surprisingly heartfelt. The gameplay is simplistic for the most part but it has a decent amount of variety when it comes to puzzles and, as mentioned before, the movement becomes really fun once you have a few more abilities. The bosses are a particular highlight, one specifically I felt was incredible and will be in my memory for a while. Overall finished the platinum in 14 hours. Most trophies will come naturally if you make sure to explore thoroughly and help everyone out. The post-story grind was a bit dull because you have to keep going back to specific people who tell you an area you're missing something. On the one hand I appreciate that they put this into the game so I didn't need to reference guides, but on the other hand would it have been too much trouble to give them a phone or a magic way to contact you at any time? Recommended. I'd give this a 6/10 enjoyment and a 2/10 difficulty platinum, you can turn on accessibility options to skip bosses if you wanted so the only challenge is figuring out the puzzles. None of them are too taxing.
Popular Post SoapMacTavish222
#416 Demon's Souls for PS5. Already had earned the platinums for the US, European and Asian versions of the game on PS3 so I was extremely excited when they announced the remake. That being said, I burnt through the game pretty quickly in the beginning but then just put it on the back burner for awhile because of the multiple playthroughs required. It looks good and runs very smooth. The only thing I wish they would've left alone was the theme for the Maiden Astraea boss.

Popular Post Rias Gremory
Platinum #998 Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart First Platinum PS5 Common: 66.05% Difficulty: 2/10. Enjoyment: 10/10. Challenge: 10/10. Music: 9/10. Story Mode: 9/10. Favorite Character: Ratchet, Clank and Rivet. Favorite Weapon: The Bouncer, The Enforcer, Cold Snap, Lightning Rod and Void Repulser. Genre: Action, Adventure, Shooting, Platform, Science Fiction and Time Travel. Grind Difficulty: 5/10. Platinum Time: 1 day and 3 hours. Before I explained Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart guys. I'll tell you this: I have already bought my PS5 Disc Console and other accessories 2 weeks ago. My first thoughts about the PS5 Disc Console itself it was fantastic and almost perfect. I have also bought a extra crimson red controller but damn I seriously wanted a starlight blue controller and that would of been super badass but I'm fine with a crimson red controller nonetheless. I watch some YouTube videos and they're super smooth and much better refinement quality and 60 FPS or higher. Honestly I wasn't expecting that at all. Now that put a smile on my face. The download time for the PS5 games was super fast and very quick on the taking. I will eventually get a Seagate 530 2TB Gen4 NVMe SSD Heatsink for my PS5 Disc Console and that will unlock it's true potential power. The only downside I'm only concerned with is that Sony needs to update the PS5 Console customized background and soundtrack so that people can stared at their own background customization and listening music at the same time. Then again, they need to add the Internet support just like they did with the PS4 Console versions. I think I need to dig even deeper and do more crunching research so I can get the hanged of it. Now then back to what I was saying about Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart. Man the 1080p at 60 FPS was exactly what I needed to see and smooth gameplay in the making. Seeing things like this and hoo boy I was highly impressed. I have thoroughly enjoyed the game well enough and chewing everything up that I have seen everything immensely. I even played Rift Apart until my hearts content and like I said from before I was highly impressed. Damn I feel really ecstatic and poised ready for my next PS5 platinum marking. Sorry I was a tad off few weeks late due to my personal obligations. The Time Travel was like comparing to Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time with those highly graphics designs that I knew I was right all along. I didn't really wanna flatten down on my PS5 Disc Console just like my PS4 Pro otherwise it could damaged it so I chose to stand it up and it fit perfectly. I never heard of this new character named Rivet. My first thoughts about her and she's similar to Ratchet and Clank. But honestly she's nothing alike those two heroes. Similarity yes but also the opposite sides to it. I guess she is talented after all just like her female robot friend of hers. Sadly I won't be able to upload my PS5 Platinum Screenshot for Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart due to an error after upload screenshot and fuck me I was really angry by that but don't worry guys I will show you the other trophy screenshots in the meantime. Sartorial Steel Trophy! Spoiler It's So Fluffy Trophy! Spoiler Shiny Trophy! Spoiler Life of the Party Trophy! Spoiler UnBEARably Awesome Trophy! Spoiler I am very satisfied I have enjoyed what the PS5 Disc Console has to offer right now but I do have hidden unused games that I have up my sleeve and not the easy plats that I have received. Highly and strongly recommend this game! Next 999th Platinum Goal: Spiderman: Miles Morales PS5.
