Popular Post JAK-KRIEG
#642 - Desperados III Enjoyment: 8/10 Difficulty: 5/10 Time: 30-40 hours What a great game i really like it. Interesting story & good mix of characters. Good looking visuals & good variety of levels. I've always enjoyed stealth games and this game does not disappoint, with some occasional gunplay. I recommend it to people who enjoy the stealth genre.

Popular Post Undead Wolf
#420 - Medal of Honor Frontline What Do You Want, A Medal? Earn All Available Trophies in Medal of Honor Frontline I've only dabbled in the Medal of Honor series before this. I know I played Rising Sun back on PS2, but I think that's about as far as my experience with these games goes. I decided to check out Frontline since it's the only one from the glory days of the series that got remastered, and man, I'm sure glad I did. Right out of the gate you're hit with this awesome intro that really sets the tone. I love it when WW2 games incorporate real world historical footage, and this game makes heavy use of it for the cutscenes and mission briefings. Modern WW2 games seem to shy away from this now for some reason, probably because they're too scared of what people on social media would say if they showed The Bad Man™️ and some Nazi imagery. Nah, better to just boil it down to My Team vs Enemy Team (I'm looking at you Call of Duty). But anyway, mini-rant about the state of modern WW2 video games over. ? There are some fantastic missions in this game. I think my favourite one is Yard by Yard, where you go through the streets of this city, ducking in and out of houses and people's back yards. Second favourite probably goes to the mission Operation Repunzel where you infiltrate this giant manor. Hell, I can't say I disliked any of the missions in this game really. There's this one where you ride a minecart through a mine shaft while enemies are blasting at you which is a little bit annoying, but thankfully, it's over in just a couple of minutes. ? They definitely improved the controls in this remaster. There's a trophy for using the classic control scheme for one mission, and it was so horrendous to the point where I don't know how anyone put up with it back in the day. ? Speaking of trophies though, I was expecting the plat to be tougher given what I had read about it. Of course there are the misc trophies like getting X amount of kills with different weapons, getting 3 kills with 1 grenade, etc. Those are all simple enough. There are 2 big trophies though that require a playthrough each. The first one is getting a gold medal on every mission, which just boils down to killing 90% of the enemies and finishing the level with 75% health or above. The latter requirement isn't much of an issue when you play on Easy, and as for the former, it can be a little tricky depending on the mission, but you just need to be aware of what actions spawn more enemies. For instance, in a lot of levels, mounting an MG will make more spawn in - you won't get a gold medal without them. I only had to replay maybe like 1 or 2 levels which really isn't that bad considering how there's 19 in total. The other big trophy is for completing the game on the Hard difficulty. Obviously you take more damage on this difficulty, but you also carry over your current health to the next level, so finishing a level with only a sliver of health really isn't a good idea for the most part. There were a few tough missions for sure, but it's just a matter of learning the enemy positions and getting a shot on them before they do on you. It really wasn't that bad. I remember dying way more on Call of Duty Classic's Veteran mode than I did in this one. Great game. Too bad the series is pretty much dead now (thanks a lot EA). They don't make 'em like they used to.
Popular Post Viscera1900
#344 - The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles The Great Ace Attorney "For being awarded all other accolades" Enjoyment: 10/10 Difficulty: 1/10 Completion time: 98 hours / 2 months, 2 days (PSNProfiles) This game collection & trophy list consists of The Great Ace Attorney: Adventures and The Great Ace Attorney 2: Resolve. It was an absolute blast to play this collection, because I love me some visual novel games, especially Ace Attorney series. Both games are brilliant and enjoyable to play. The Great Ace Attorney 2: Resolve just became my favorite Ace Attorney game I've ever played; I own both Dual Destinies & Spirit of Justice for 3DS, but I haven't played them yet, because I'm hoping that both games will eventually make their ways to Playstation 4/5 system. Trophy wise it's really easy list to complete; complete both games' story mode and you'll have 90% of the trophies done. My completion time is very high, because there are atleast 15+ hours of idle time; I have tried to explore & read everything I can find, took long breaks to do other stuffs while leaving the game running background. The platinum image might be bit spoilery, so view it with caution if you're planning to play it yourself. Nauticus87
#665 - Super Daryl Deluxe Current platinum rarity: 23.39% A hidden gem with <500 owners here on PSNP. Currently on sale at 75% off until 22nd September. This is a hard one to describe. I'd recommend to go watch the trailer with the killer theme tune. Let's just start with that in general: The music in this game is an absolute highlight. It is at times rocking and at times funny. They have this habit of putting 'Daryl' in as the lyrics to the songs, which when it's trying to play a creepy song and whispering Daryl to you is so weird and hilarious. Other times you'll be pummelling bosses while trying not to sing along. The gameplay is best described as Guacamelee in school. The map is right out of a metroidvania, though more restrictive. Story progression tends to be the reason areas are blocked off, rather than attaining new skills. Combat is hack and slash with skills, a lot of which aren't too useful, though it does allow for a lot of variety in how you set yourself up in battle. What's cool is you can upgrade each skill and when you do they change in appearance. For example, late-game you get a spell to call a lightning storm. At first it's just a paltry one, but by the time you max it out you're momentarily turning into Thor as you call down a magnificent raging storm. Visuals could be pulled from Monty Python. I adored the absurdity. Although it's set in school, each classroom is actually something like an alternate reality. One minute you're helping Napoleon unite with Julius Caesar to wage a war in history, the next you're in literature in the shire talking to a disgruntled hobbit before going to a haunted house to help Scrooge with some angry ghosts, before stopping off in science class to help a robotic Einstein go around the world on holiday. That's only a snippet of the madness in this game, which took me 23 hours to platinum. The side-quests could be more varied, the amount of backtracking is horrendous at times, and the main quest itself can sometimes be confusing, with it being difficult to recall exactly where to go or what the game wants you to do, but overall I would highly recommend this game to some people. It really isn't for everyone, it's a niche game for sure, but I think to certain people it would be an amazing experience.
Popular Post No longer here
#176 - Cult of the Lamb (PS5) Enjoyment/Rating: 8/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Time: 20 Hours PSNP Rarity: 28.02% PSN Rarity: 4.0% I forgot to post this weeks ago.... but here it is!! Game is a rogue-like but it is also a life sim behind it all. The combat was simple to follow and can get boring fast. But the sim part of the game is what makes it shine amongst the other rogue-likes of its genre. It is very addicting in the beginning and you feel immersed with your cult! It is at the same time cute as it is weird, but it works. There are plentiful options on what to do with your cult which some are funny and some are brutal, but not too gruesome lol. You really are a leader in this game and you lead the way for your members, you must replenish them with food, clean the area and make sure their faith is always high so that no one betrays you! Yes the process and time for all this is really short but I really enjoyed it nonetheless. Other positive is that the boss fights were cool as well as the artstyle, game is very eye candy and it's another reason I couldn't put it down. I recommend this for fans of indies and rogue-likes alike!

Popular Post viech54
Divinity: Original Sin 2 https://psnprofiles.com/trophies/7991-divinity-original-sin-2/viech54 A game that I started back in 2020 and finally got back to finishing it. It has so much more to offer than the plat, though, and I should go back and play it with the other characters, do their quests and immerse myself in the world by reading all books and whatever else the game has to offer that tells the story of the world, but my backlog doesn't allow that (or, well, I don't allow myself to do that due to my backlog. But I'd like to be able to do that again in the future) So I won't do that in the foreseeable future and instead work on my backlog. I had fun, though. Popular Post Elvick_
Platinum #243 Start the Party! I Love to Party! Collect all other trophies for Start the Party!™ Since I couldn't get Diggs Nightcrawler to work, RIP the dream (for now). I decided to check my other PS Move (Diggs is Wonderbook but still uses the camera obviously) games and between the four I decided to check this one looked the most doable as far as the platinum goes. An ultra rare platinum too. Given how tedious and frustrating aspects of this were... I am not surprised what so ever. :'D The art design is amazing. The idea is neat, I mean sure it's a minigame collection, but I find those fun (to an extent). I like that you can play with taking pictures of each player and even recording your voice (or other sounds) that call you out when it's your turn. That's a cool way to handle it and use the PS Camera at the time. I don't remember the music, I muted everything so I could watch YouTube and hear the trophies pop during the tedious parts. The main issue is how terribly a lot of the games controller. Especially the poke the blowfish, and alligator tooth brushing. The latter of which just outright doesn't work. And on hard that means you're fucked. And you have to play hard to get some of these trophies at all, like eating 5 flies with the frog. There's just not enough flies on easy and I didn't want to waste time trying normal (and the terrible guide for it given the age of the game and standards back then, didn't explain shit). The minigames are entirely randomly chosen and so getting the right things to even attempt the trophies is a pain in the ass. With the blowfish, that was by far the hardest in the game. You have to hit 70 fish in a row without hitting anything that's the wrong color. It was very hard because the game is design as if you, the living person behind the camera, do not move in a 3D space. So you have to try to work within a 2D plane in the real world to get it to work well. Because trying to thrust and pop them while at an angle is so difficult and barely works and when it does will often just misalign and screw you. I had confidence I could do it since I kept getting 50k consistently, and people said they got it around there, but I had to get over 65k iirc to get the trophy. (points that is) I ended up sitting pretty close, zooming the camera in [instead of the wide angle of the camera] and zooming the game in the settings. That helped but it was still stressful as hell when it finally popped it felt so sweet. I knew I could do the platinum then. There's also "Bonus King". Which I don't know how I got. I did the alleged requirement multiple times over and it didn't give it to me. Most of the minigames it kept giving me didn't HAVE bonus things. The time it finally popped is when I got an entire 5 round run that had zero minigames which gave the bonus. So I got them all, all being zero. What? Whatever, I was just happy it popped because it made no sense, the guide was of zero help, forum posts of people who struggled but got it were also no help (or confused themselves about how they got it). I thought that fairly common 60%+ trophy was going to stop me getting the platinum and it was making me kind of mad. Thankfully I got it and that made me feel better. Never thought I'd go back and platinum this. So that's nice to do. Would not recommend it. It's not a very fun game. Some of the minigames are okay, some are good in theory but not practice, but the fact that you can't just pick the exact game (for all games) and how you want to play it (there are things like strike 3, and such) is silly. I'm curious how the sequel improved, I see that plat is a lot more common. It's kind of a waste, because like I said the art design is really good. I really like how everything looks and how they incorporated you into the game. It's just the AR portion of it just doesn't work very well at all. That's why I'm kind of considering the sequel because maybe it fixed my issues with this one. Who knows, I'll have to research it beyond just the plat rarity... and see how much it goes for because I ain't paying much for it. Oh but given the great art design the trophy icons were a huge letdown. A bunch of reused icons based on grade. Lame. The plat icon itself isn't terrible to look at I suppose, but I'd have loved to get the cute Frog for getting the frog minigame related trophy instead of just some bland reused icon.

Popular Post The_Kopite
Ape Escape (PS5) Glad to have experienced it for the first time, and feel it's definitely worth playing once. Had good fun with it overall, but certainly the control scheme takes a while to get used to (the dingy and tank controls were horrible especially lol) and the ending part dragged on a little bit too much for my liking personally.
