Popular Post Umdytr
Just finished inFamous: First Light. Despite Second Son technically coming first, since this one is a prequel and shorter I decided to play it earlier and see if I liked it. And I did enjoy the game quite a bit. The abilities and movement kind of reminded me of Control, but even more hectic and freeform. The arenas were actually a lot of fun thanks to just how enjoyable the main character is to control. The whole thing was a tad too easy even playing on Expert, although it also never felt mindless. As for the 'open world' exploration it was very barebones, but from what I gather this game was kind of a standalone DLC for Second Son anyway, so that's understandable. Anyway, since I did like this one well enough, I'll probably commit a bit more and start Second Son tomorrow. Besides, as a big fan of Ghost of Tsushima I've always wanted to delve into Sucker Punch's earlier works.

Popular Post Kefka1986
#151 Blasphemous Difficulty: 5/10 Enjoyment: 6/10 My 151th platinum trophy, so I completed the Kanto pokedex! This game is a weird take (in a good way) of a metroidvania, mixing religious elements of the spanish culture with a dark ambience. I loved the combat system, the bosses were very very cool and the pixel art was really well done. My only complain would be the story, which could be told better IMO. Special award to the spanish dub, which usually makes you want to tear your ears appart, but for this game, it's nicely acted.
Popular Post Cellcrash1991
#67: Road 96 Border Master Discover Petria's fate A very short game, but I enjoyed it. In terms of gameplay, it felt somewhat like a Telltale game with Life Is Strange-vibes to it. So if you like any of those 2 I definitely recommend playing this.

Popular Post Ala-Arska
Ara Fell: Enhanced Edition All Trophies Unlock every trophy This review has been written with Nostalgia Goggles ON. To turn them OFF, press forward and stop clinging to the past. Ara Fell is a trip down the memory lane. A lane paved with such classics as Final Fantasy IV, V, VI and Chrono Trigger. A turn based, 16-bit, JRPG that captures the feel of Games of Old. Overall atmosphere has hints of Secret of Mana, I am Setsuna and Earthlock as well. Mainly because of sort of melancholic music. The game looks great, with colourful pixels and detailed environments. Music, as said before, is fitting and sets the mood perfectly. More songs would have been nice, though. Now there's only a handful of 'em. Gameplay is basic move-in-four-different-directions-when-exploring, take turns fighting the monsters. D-pad is recommended when exploring the world, with analog stick the character just bumps into walls and jumps into lakes Characters are awesome all around. They bicker with each other, make sarcastic remarks, and are a fun bunch even when facing peril. Trophy icons could have been nicer. Now they are plain butt-ugly with large texts ruining them. The icon for Platinum trophy is the exact same as the trophy icon for beating the game on Expert mode. Now that's just sad and lazy Difficulty-wise, on Expert difficulty the game definitely has its spikes, but praise be the miracle of Overleveling! All in all, Ara Fell is a blast from the past. Anyone still loving the times of SNES should definitely play this one "I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve."

Popular Post Trancexistence
#34 - Lollipop Chainsaw 1337 Trophy Milestone: I'd been hanging on to a physical copy of this game for a while and the announcement of the impending remake spurred me into action. I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to get this platinum after barely making it through the Prologue and the High School stage but I persevered with it, got better, and ended up really enjoying this game. By the end, it almost felt easy. As video games go, it's a bit of a hot mess but in a good way. I enjoyed the over the top combat but also totally understand why people might find it repetitive. That combat was, I thought, complemented pretty well by a chaotic story, likeable characters and some memorable boss battles along with a top notch voice cast. In particular, I enjoyed the amusing dialogue between Juliet and her bodyless jock boyfriend Nick which was one of the highlights for me. The only downsides I found were a pretty uncooperative camera that, at times, felt like trying to spin a tank turret, along with how easy it was to accidentally use Nick Tickets without meaning to. I'm quite a heavy handed gamer so having those mapped to whilst trying to move Juliet around made things feel a bit clumsy at times. Trophy wise, I had a bit of trouble with No Fear Of Heights (52 continues ) but the rest was straightforward and beating all of Dad's scores in Ranked mode wasn't nearly as bad as I expected it to be. I had to retry Stages 2 & 4 a couple of times but got all the others first time. I had a blast with this and will definitely be playing the remake. It's a shame Suda51 and James Gunn aren't involved and that the awesome soundtrack is going to be missing but I'm still looking forward to it Enjoyment: 9/10 Difficulty: 5/10 Total Game Time: Roughly 30 hours

Popular Post HansPatat050
#82 Stray Enjoyment: 9/10 Much has already been written about this game. It's a great short story, wonderful world and very nice gameplay. Somehow my cats got triggered as soon as the intro started, and so was I. Somehow the game makes it intense to follow. The music, sounds, colors, envoironment and story mix makes it a true gem. Difficulty: 3/10 The sprint trough the streets with the zurks trying to catch you was tricky and took me an hour at least. I messed up a few things during the speedrun and still managed to get 1:50 hours, so defintely doable. Time: 6 hours #83 Mothergunship Enjoyment: 9/10 Wow, what a game this is. I read a review some time ago and picked it up on sale via Amazon. The game is delisted for a few years now, so only 2.000 players own it according to PSNP. There is a bigger steam community, but still very small. The game is AWESOME! You are part of a resistance trying to take down alien ships (multiple ships and a mothergunship) who want destroy planet earth. You work from a headquarter where you can select missions, upgrade your armor, buy/sell parts and create guns. Yes, create guns, because a main element of the game is to build your own weapons. You'll have parts with sockets and per socket you can add a barrel (shotgun, machine, laser etc.) or a perk (multishot, less/more damage etc.). This element works great and adds a very nice layer of gameplay. You can make a different gun each run (depending on amount of slots) and see how it fits. Go guns blazing with machineguns, or equip a laser or railgun for some long shots. Great stuff and I enjoyed it very much. The game has a main campaign and after that there are additional sub-campaings and continuous side-missions. It's roguelike, so heavy RNG based. Each mission has 8-10 'rooms' to be cleared. Every room has a different layout and filled with enemies. This element is RNG, so it could be that room 8 only has a few enemies, where in other runs you get absolutely destroyed starting in room 1. If anyone has this game in their backlog and requires some help, let me know. Difficulty: 7/10 One of the elements of the game is that you'll lose whatever gunparts you used when you fail a mission. And you will lose and die a lot. After a few runs I started hitting a wall and lost a couple of runs... which caused me to lose all my barrels. There is side-mission where you start with fixed parts to build your guns, and if you complete that mission you can keep the parts and lose nothing. I had to run that mission over and over to get new parts and prepare for battle. It's like an RPG, where you just play side-missions to level up and prepare for a boss fight. If the RNG is in your favour you can speedrun certain rooms, which I did to build my armor and prepare for the fists-only nightmare mission. The gun losing element, plus the RNG plus the fists-only nightmare mission make it a difficult platinum. Time: 20 hours

Thanks to @ThatDrunkGuy, @FreshFromThaDeli and @BadAssMarine13 for the serious help and teamwork, this is your completion as well. Sorry for the horrible connection most of the time, Australia hasn't caught up to the rest of the world with internet connections. I blame it on our loss in the Emu War. Big Congrats Bloke! Was a pleasure to help. I'm still in awe how I got to only finish the camo grind and realistic difficulty to pop the Plat and bag the 100% since launch and you did all of that plus the Multiplayer and Zombies in like 2 days ? I promise I'll get it all done this year. Would be nice to finally say I have completed every Black Ops game to 100% trophies.
