Another Ultra Rare Worms platinum that I started many years ago added to the collection. This one is harder than Worms Battlegrounds in both singleplayer and online trophies. 

 

Most of the time getting the singleplayer trophies will be spent in the campaign, beating the missions and doing all sub goals. Some of these are actually quite hard (special mention to the poison one) which is where the 6/10 difficulty comes from.

 

The online trophies can be boosted in 1.5-2 hours per person. The trophy for playing 50 online games glitched for me, but thankfully my boosting partner was willing to grind out private matches to see if it would pop. It finally did after a total of over 80 games were played.

 

Like most Worms games, it's great fun messing around with friends, I definitely recommend it for that. Not sure if I recommend it for trophy hunting, but it's an easy UR if you want it.

My 2nd platinum was the PS4 version of this game, so I came full circle. The PS4 version is the one to play. The FPS and resolution are better, and there's less load times and crashing.

One my my favourite titles I have played across multiple accounts and have had some great experiences playing with others over the years. My aim this time was to try and beat my previous record, however last time I didn't really plan anything and played the game during the working week, so this time with some planning I knew I could easily do it. I had a team this time to help me out with some of the troublesome trophies, including zombies and multiplayer specifically.

 

Multiplayer was completed in roughly 4 hours through some serious boosting, as the custom lobbies glitch just would not work for the life of me. I feel pretty guilty for unlocking a nuclear medal boosting when my one of my team mates sweated it out legitimately. A thought and a prayer goes out to the multiple alt accounts that were maimed in this process.

 

Campaign was pretty tough once again, although Realistic was beaten in just under 10 hours and thank goodness I got through Life unscathed. I was glad to see that Sarah Hall glitched out once again, zombies just wouldn't stop spawning and that enemies still shoot through walls. Only missing a few accolades along the way, the post game clean-up was short, including some challenges. Although the weapon camo grinding is still the same monotonous task it was previously, I watched a few Witcher episodes in the background whilst grinding, so it wasn't that bad I guess.

 

Zombies was the main fun of this completion, which took some planning before I even started the run. Spent over a month grinding Liquid Divinium on The Giant for some good gums beforehand, to make things a lot easier. The hardest part of zombies was not being able to play any other maps (due to the possibility of unlocking trophies) until all members of the team were ready to play at once, due to time zone differences and IRL commitments. Every Easter Egg completed with very minimal issues, I couldn't believe the box luck in Shangri La...

 

Thanks to @ThatDrunkGuy, @FreshFromThaDeli and @BadAssMarine13 for the serious help and teamwork, this is your completion as well. Sorry for the horrible connection most of the time, Australia hasn't caught up to the rest of the world with internet connections. I blame it on our loss in the Emu War.

Fairly easy platinum but it has a lot of missable trophies. The breach trophies are online only meaning you must have an internet connection. Most people say it was boring but I thought it was lowkey fun but got repetitive as I kept playing. I kept getting disconnected after first starting breach out but later did not disconnect me since.

And thus an end to my time with Uncharted, One last time...

I really enjoyed my time replaying these gems on my PS5 and 4K monitor in 60fps had an absolute blast. A bit sad that’s it’s over now tho but definitely enjoyed every bit of this one.

Plat #220: Yakuza 4 (PS4)

 

2nd plat of year and 2nd Yakuza game plat for this year. This one isn't terrible to plat since you don't have to go through 100% (aka all minigames). That fun comes in the next Yakuza game 

 

Anyways the only person I had real challenge to control was Tanimura. Maybe it was because I spammed triangle after every rush combo so I never had heat or his bosses was the worst out of the four (you mean I get to fight 30 guys with a suitcase strapped to my hand so I can't use any combos, what fun!).

 

Time to take a break from Yakuza for now and play some other games in the backlog, but at some point I'll be back at it with Yakuza 5.

Enjoyment: 10/10

 

This must be the 4th or 5th time I've played this game, but I guess I'll never tire from doing it again. Fantastic game, phenomenal music and thrilling story - even better now after I've read the books! Seeing all the little references to the books was great, and some side stories had quite a different tone to them with all the previous knowledge.

This game is a masterpiece, I hope to play it again on the PS6 someday
