Popular Post BlinkWinkel
#269 - Neptunia Game Maker R:Evolution (PS4) The PS4 game I was looking forward to the most this year, and it certainly did not disappoint! Neptunia games are always incredibly fun, and even after so many games, I'm always really hyped whenever a new one comes out. Really happy to add a new Neptunia game to my platinum trophy and physical game collection! As always, the story is a huge parody of the video game industry with lots of comedy, lovable characters, and the usual epic Japanese voice cast! The battle system is also incredibly fun in this one, and being able to drive a motorcycle in most dungeons was cool. Although we can't use it in the 100+ floor dungeons for some reason, and that's where I would have needed it the most, especially since there's a trophy for driving 300km with the motorcycle. Platinum was really easy though, and as far as I know there's no missable trophies. Enjoyment: 10/10 Difficulty: 2/10
Popular Post Leon Castle
#263 Assassin's Creed Mirage 24th May 2024 Prequel to AC: Valhalla. Fun but a bit annoying at times like Basim deciding to climb the side of stairs or use knives instead of blowdart etc. Only things I did that was not needed for the plat was finding the rest of the enigma treasures and the Forty Thieves DLC quest.
Popular Post Moridin83
#315 Cotton 2 Another day, another Cotton plat. I enjoyed this one a lot more than Panorama Cotton. It's back to being a sidescroller, which was already a huge step up. Unfortunately, this one isn't translated either, and there's no original vs remix mode, so there's nothing to stop you from cheesing it with rewind. I imagine it might be somewhat difficult if you couldn't do that. I'm also mixed on the addition of command shots, which are the central gimmick of the game. I appreciate the concept, but between the lack of rapid fire, and the fact that you need to stop shooting before initiating one, it's a bit of a mixed bag. Still, it was fun, and worth a shot if you see it on sale. Next up (probably), Cotton Boomerang!
Popular Post Viscera1900
#470 - Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Bye Bye, Xenoverse "Obtained all trophies!" -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Enjoyment: N/A Difficulty: N/A Completion time: 3 hours, 46 minutes ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Playstation 5 version of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 just got released yesterday and I auto popped this bad boy mostly using my old PS4 save file from 6 years ago 😳 There were about 6 trophies that did not auto pop using my PS4 save file and luckily those didn't take too time to achieve. I had to redo all Elder Kai's Challenge Quests for "We Better Use the Hyperbolic Time Chamber..." trophy and some of them are much harder than I remembered... Popular Post Spageos
#61 Uncharted 4: A Thief's End This was kind of a weird one for me, I played it pretty frequently in 2016-2017 for the multiplayer, I only finished the story once and never felt compelled to return. Once I started feeling up for actually platinuming games regularly, I went through my list and thought I'd revisit and actually finish it. I felt like the gameplay/story is probably some of Naughty Dog's finest work and I can at least say it might just be my favorite from the series. Although, this game is weirdly easier to platinum because you can pretty much breeze through crushing difficulty if you use the bonus points, the only hurdle I really dealt was chapter 19's exploding mummies, that part is painful. At the worst, the collectibles are a little tiresome but worth it for the sake of just completion in general. Also, despite it being 8 years old already, the game looks gorgeous still, I am not one who goes crazy over graphics but Uncharted 4's definitely caught my eye. This game is worthy of being the proper conclusion to the series. #62 Sword and Fairy 7: Together Forever Beautiful game. This is honestly one of the best games I've played in a while. The cast/story are so good and are very easy to get attached to. There's definitely some rather, emotionally stressing parts like, Sang Yo's childhood backstory, Bai Moqing's torn relationship with her family, and the ending scene with Yue Qingshu. You get as many as cutscenes as you do gameplay here, but it's well worth it. The action RPG style is smooth, not much jank at all, and every character is varied with unique abilities that come in handy per battle. There's also some goofy card mini game, and some little platforming trials you can do along with QTEs. There's just little bits of variety splashed in when traversing all these awesome looking areas you visit throughout the game. It takes about 30 hours to complete, so while it is rather short, it's still well worth playing entirely I'd say. Popular Post Whyfire
#63 - Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order A New Hope Earn all trophies This game should've been called "How to get back to your ship?!" Well, i had to use google on several occasion where i just spent too much time without knowing how to get back, sigh.. Yeah, it could have been better in some areas and even after finishing the story i still had issues how to use a map properly 😅 Anyhow, if we skip this, game is really good and you know, its Star Wars. Story is engaging, Cal as a main character is okay, and the whole environment is nicely done. It has lots of collectibles, but there are really good guides, text or video, so its not a big problem to get them all. Popular Post Thrillhelm
#3626 Stumble Guys (PS5) I can imagine people hating this game for sheer existing, even read it in the threads of the game. A shameless ripoff from Fall Guys, same concept but cheaper, with its own flaws. Well I hate Fall Guys developer Mediatonic for their arrogance and incompetence, so its fun for me to see the copy performing better than their game. Mainly because its also on mobile and highly successful there. So instead of a five-round battle royale with 60 players you have three rounds with up to 32 players, the finale with eight, and basically everything is way faster than Fall Guys, with only seconds between rounds. Its not highly polished, with PS2 graphics, one single jingle and spongey controls, but if you fail you can instantly hop in and start over. Biggest problem is that the game is somewhat pay2win. While costumes are cosmetical, the emotes you can buy are not, some grant you special abilities, like punching, sliding, or grabbing. Even with a cooldown you will find yourself being constantly spammed by other players as the standard guy has no defense whatsoever. You can earn everything without spending money, it just takes forever. Same goes for the platinum - you buy emotes, costumes, animations, either directly or with the season pass. Or you grind forever. Platinum is, aside from a possible grind, nowhere near as difficult as the one from Fall Guys, less prestigious I guess, but nonetheless a fun experience. With all the collaborations going on (Mattel, MrBeast, Rabbids etc.) and mobile crossplay this game won't run out of updates any time soon. 12
Popular Post Viper
#355 Assassin's Creed: Mirage Master of his Fate People asked for a game that returned to classic Creed, but I think this game really highlights how backward thinking that really is. On one hand, the game is a fun return to the stealth gameplay of old...but it's built on the RPG foundations of Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla, and you end up getting this frustrating experience at times. Either it was oddly intentional, or going BACK to this gameplay style has a way of bringing up the worst of the classic style. The maneuvering problems from past games return almost like they never left. From Basim getting stuck in the tiniest of scenery (or walking up the SIDES of stairs instead of the stairs themselves), dedicated climbing areas bring back the crap with Basim either not going UP and jumping OFF or doing his own thing completely. The combat is this game is TERRIBLE. It's literally just you waiting to see what color the guards turn. Red means dodge, gold means parry...but it's so rapidly varied that it can be unpredictable as hell in the worst of times, and for whatever reason Basim takes like 3 hits and dies, so taking on entire hordes of enemies is unwise. How we went from an absolute badass in Ezio who could cripple armies in a simple flurry of offense to Basim having trouble with ONE guy, is crazy to me...and he's supposed to be our big bad going forward? The story was pretty good, though a bit tropic in the sense that Basim is a villain we're supposed to feel sorry for in this backstory. For those that don't know, Mirage was originally set as the final DLC for AC Valhalla before being made a stand-alone release...and it shows. It's not a big game at all, very linear and focused, it was just meant to give us some backstory on who Basim is, I guess they figured most people don't like the modern-day stuff, so there's no use sprinkling in those nuggets of information in future games. Trophies are all straightforward, apparently one is missable, where you have to find two disguises in separate missions...but you'd really have to be not paying attention to miss it, as using the disguise is a mission objective. I guess since you can approach some missions your own way, if you decide not to wear it, it could be missed. Everything else is the usual of finding all the lookout points, grabbing all collectibles, using the guard distraction services a certain number of times, upgrading everything, etc. One of the easiest AC games for sure. Overall it was a fun game, but it was nothing to write home about. I just think it's odd how they can bring back classic gameplay, on another genre's foundation, and it somehow brings BACK the issues that were actually solved with the Open World RPG approach.

Popular Post Darghel
#215: Alisa Difficulty: tough beginning, but becomes easier later Time to Complete: about 13 hours Recommended: Yes despite its flaws Total score: 7.5/10 I remember watching a demo of this game a long ago on YouTube, and was surprised to see it on PSN later. I haven't been much on PC due to it becoming less and less powerful, so now I mostly play on console, and because of this, I had no idea this game came out on, let alone on console. And I'm happy to have played it! Alisa is yet another resident evil "clone" but without the zombies: it instead has killer dolls with a lot of variety in it. While many enemies don't return a second time, I was impressed by the variety of enemies and I quite enjoyed to see them around...most of the time! With that said, the game allows you to use tank control and modern controls, but this requires another mention later. So, we got killer dolls, in a dollhouse, with guns to use and...melee weapons? Yep, melee is actually viable - and I would say better than most weapons - and you can easily use it to save on ammo and kill enemies with ease, since each strike staggers the enemy. Not even joking when I say that the saber you get at the beginning IS the best melee weapon you have, even better than the sword and shield. Why? Because the sword can parry indefinitely while the shield doesn't! I didn't try the hammer but I'm not sure if it's any good anyway. As for the non-melee weapon, it's actually pretty varied but I really hardly used them due to lack of ammo. On top of that, we also have MANY dresses to use, many of which allow you to have different effects! My favorite is the Dark Nurse because it heals on every melee hit! Did I mention that melee is extremely viable? Now, what differs from old-school resident evil, is the ability to buy items from the store, like in resident evil 4, which helps mitigating the lack of ammo and items you find during the game. Even saving costs teethwheels (only 1 but still!) so it helps give you a sense of limitation without actually giving you a specific limit: as long as you have the currency, you can buy supplies and continue and also save. But once run out, you better find an enemy fast or else! As for the rest, there's a lot of variation in areas to explore, the puzzles are pretty good for the most part (except the trap door: easily the worst puzzle in the entire game) and the bosses are fun enough without being too frustrating. Overall, the game is extremely well varied, with 3 endings to boot, and a lot of replayability thanks to the roulette after the first ng+ (speaking of which, one of my trophies were bugged too). However, this is where I have to mention the many issues I had with the game, starting with the camera and controls. I mentioned that the game allows you to use tank controls, which I initially planned to use...until I realized that I couldn't use a d-pad with it, making moving with the stick a chore. This wouldn't be an issue IF the camera wouldn't stop shifting around while moving from area to area, which I get the whole "fixed camera" idea from the original Resident Evil, but sometimes it can change 3-4 times in the same area! And yes, I can often get stuck because of it, since a single twitch of the stick will make me change direction! If I could use tank controls it wouldn't be a problem, but the damn analog controls make it even worse! Next, the beginning is the hardest part of the game: right off the bat you'll have a room with 4 enemies to beat, one of which is crawling and fast and hard to hit with your gun - especially if you have manual aiming - then ANOTHER room full of enemies that are fast and hard to hit! And not soon after, you'll have an immortal enemy that will stalk you everywhere you go which will basically insta-kill you if she grabs you! And the worst part of this is that she can appear RIGHT OUTSIDE YOUR ROOM! I'm not kidding when I say, the first time I exited the room, she just appeared nearby and killed me! Come on, really?! Thankfully the saber you get at the start helps a ton for most enemies, and they usually don't take too many hits to go down, but it was seriously a struggle for the first hours...but then it becomes super easy, you suddenly get less and less enemies in a room (maybe 2 at best), the nemesis-clone disappears, and it just gets easier! It's incredible how tough it was just a few hours earlier! I wish it was the other way around! Another issue is also the bugs I had: I crashed twice while I was afk, returning with the ps5 telling me to report the bug, and then I had a few bugs where Alisa was stuck in animation, or the screen just froze so I couldn't understand where to go - thankfully after finding a door, it fixed itself. And while intentional and all, I wish the voice acting was a tad better. Resident evil voice acting was, but it had its charm at how bad it is. This one felt just bad... But despite the issues I had, I still REALLY enjoyed this game. I love old school resident evil and this one definitely scratches my itch for old school survival horror. It's not one of my favorites but it is still a very good one that I highly recommend. Sure the trophies can be annoying too, with a speedrun and pacifist trophy, but I'd still recommend to try it if you like old school resident evil games. It's flawed, but there's passion in it, and I could feel it when playing it.

Popular Post Biscoito18
#271 - Stellar Blade EVE Protocol Enjoyment: 8/10 Difficulty: 4/10 In addition to the gorgeous protagonist, breathtaking outfits and good enemy design, "Stellar Blade" also has a great combat system full of different options that never let the fights get boring. Unfortunately the constant platform sessions are very annoying. Eve is too light for precise jumps and it's amazing how no one noticed this during development. Furthermore, the locations are uninspired and are always in daylight. I know it makes sense story-wise, but two deserts are too many. Thankfully, the final part of the last location has a more modern/high tech style. And I really liked the plot, the various revelations and how they managed to blur the line between villains and good guys. The game built a very interesting world that I hope continues to be developed as it has a lot of potential, especially with the "Making New Memories" ending, which I think will be considered canon. Overall, I had a great time with "Stellar Blade". Edited May 25 by Biscoito18
Popular Post Valzentia
#210 - South Park: Snow Day! Difficulty: 3/10 Fun: 8.5/10 Surprisingly enough, my first South Park platinum. It's not as bad as the reviews make it out to be; the style of the show translates surprisingly well to 3D this time around and the hack and slash combat is surprisingly more enjoyable than it seems. My biggest issue with it is that it's short as hell; only five missions total to complete and not many side activities, which is a bummer considering both The Stick of Truth and The Fractured But Whole had a ton of side quests, collectibles, and all that jazz. My guess is that development was hectic and a lot of stuff they envisioned got cut, and switching from Ubisoft to THQ Nordic probably didn't help matters. It's a real shame. Also, the AI teammates they force on you WILL make some trophies harder than they should be, mostly because they'll get the kill an enemy that you're trying to kill in a specific way. And you can't turn them off. They're also very stupid. Hopefully that will be an option added in a patch, because there is no reason this couldn't have been a solo experience.

Popular Post yellowwindow7
A True Hero / Xenon Valkyrie+ ( ps4 ) i already knows that there's cheatcode to become OP, at first i never used it at all and got almost all of the trophies in the game, many people said this game is very hard, to me personally i never found the game difficult exept the Deftos boss fight which is straight up BS! it's a shoot,em up bullet hell fight which bullet hell is already not my favorite genre, plus that he can kill you in one freaking hit. i have reached him way too many times and died and back to the start of the game again before i totally gave up and used the cheatcodes, even with the cheatcodes is on i still played the game carefully like normal and i ronically once i reached him i managed to perfectly dodge his attacks and beat him without getting touched and i was like WTF? then why did i used the cheatcodes then? 😑 i heard with the cheatcodes you can take few hits from him but i never did got hit a single time this time around. the BlackStorm Lab is tough as well but moving very carefully and think before doing any action really paid off, at least there's no bullet hell one shot kill BS in there. funny how after i beat Deftos the God Killer trophy never unlocked until halfway while playing as the dude with the wip, some of the trophies are very buggy in this game.
Popular Post MidnightDragon
#121 Catlateral Damage Remeowstered If you played the original Catlateral Damage, you pretty much know what to expect. You play as a naughty cat causing mayhem by destroying and knocking over objects. It's a fun game, especially if you want to do something kind of mindless. The trophies are pretty straightforward, but there are two grinds (getting all the photos and knocking over a total of 20,000 objects), but neither of them are too difficult to do. If you liked the original game, you'll probably enjoy this as well. Platinum shot Edited May 25 by MidnightDragon
Popular Post Elvick_
Platinum #353 XIII (PS5) Ultimate XIII Obtain all the trophies of the game. i was very bummed when the remake came out with so many problems. Picked this up for $9 or something on Woot, and I’m glad it got vastly improved with patches. it still has some issues, but it was fun to play which is all I can ask for after such a launch. This is another tortured platinum, I think 4th? I’m way behind lol. but it ended up being fine. Even cleanup wasn’t that bad. The kill cam is outright broken. It shows the same image in each box which kind of defeats the purpose of it. So that was annoying/disappointing. I feel like the art design is a step down. I’m not sure if they changed that over time I feel like they probably did because the cutscenes look way different than the ingame graphics. I think the more thick outlines of the original game looks more striking and interesting. It’s not a bad looking game but it just doesn’t live up to the OG for me. I had some input glitches where shooting it puts wouldn’t be registered right after reloading sometimes/it wouldn’t register if you were holding the button in anticipation for it to be done reloading which is akward. one time my weapon model was overlapped with the 3-shot crossbow’s image which was kind of funny. After I switched back to the crossbow it fixed itself. I fell through the geometry once when cleaning up collectibles. the difficulty trophies now stack which is great. there were a lot of audio glitches where audio from the previous instance (reloading a checkpoint for example) would continue to play. In the hospital there’s a signing woman and she was singing two times for me and it was kind of funny. disregarding the remake stuff, the game’s AI isn’t exactly great. You can open a door in front of them and that doesn’t trigger them into being alert. I think this is a positive because it would be annoying to me but I can see some not like that. all in all I’m happy with how it was patched up, even if I’d prefer to be able to just buy the PS2 version on PSN or something. I enjoy the story, the world, the music. Level design is a bit straight forward for the most part, but I still find it fun to play through. Shame the game didn’t launch this way and then they could’ve fixed the issues it had now. But at least they did update it to a point where it’s fun. That’s more than a lot do (sadly). I heard a lot of people hating this game and after playing it, I don't get what there's to hate. You have the ability to switch each girl's class via dress spheres you find on your journey even in the middle of a fight. If you just focus on the story and non of the side quests, the game can be beaten pretty fast, however there is a trophy that requires you to see 100% of the story which there is some leeway as there's 110% worth of story to see so if you don't get it first time around and you're really close, there are story choices you can make to see the other scenes. I wish Square would use this battle system again, it was nearly perfect! There's a new part of the story called last mission which ditches the traditional turn based combat and becomes a rogue like. Even if you're bad at it, you can cheese it by getting certain equipment and level up the samurai dress sphere a lot. *Re Battle system.: SE sort of did use the battle system again with Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy 13. * Re battle system: They sort of did with Lightning Returns.

Popular Post dj_lalle
The Walking Dead: Destinies for me, the game was not good and not that bad, it was a ‘worse’ experience than I remembered. The story was for the most part what I remembered from the show, BUT they did change/remove some of the more important characters (Andrea fx) and some of the Cannon fodder from the show, one thing I wish they would have done was to make story cut-scenes instead of a picture slideshow-ish thing, they also changed some of the scenarios so you were forced to choose between killing off fan-favorite characters instead of the unknown character to die. Some times the camera was a little over the place and sometimes the aim for the weapons were irratating, this is the biggest BUT, the aiming was horrible and so hard to do some of the trophies because of how bad it was. I had an okay-ish time with the game, the combat was fine-ish, but damn the revolver were OP like there is a sniper rifle there, no thanks I’ll just use my revolver, but they have nerfed it from what I Can see, but still i’d rather have that than any other weapon in the game. Boss fight were fine-ish nothing spectacular and nothing groundbreaking, but they are superhumans in this game, like how they take bullets to the face like its nothing or getting a fireaxe swing straight in the face. Overall experience is actually worse than I remember from the first time I platted it, but I also went straight from like a dragon infinte wealth which is freaking amazing experience to this. only experienced one crash so that a ‘win’ but if they would have done a better job with the game it could have been a fantastic experience with the what if type of scenarios. Fun:4/10 Plat diff: 2-3/10, there are some missables just keep and eye Out for them and you’re golden, I missed one and had to do a quick second playthrough until chapter three. Popular Post Moridin83
# 316 Source of Madness Here's another perfect example of a decent game let down by its trophies. The game is a Cthulhu inspired roguelite, and it's actually decently atmospheric the first couple times you play it. It is a short game though, and once you figure out that certain weapons are incredibly superior, not very difficult. As a brief aside, allowing each projectile of a multi launch attack to have an individual crit chance completely breaks the meta of what weapons are best. I can forgive the trophies for all unlocks, as that's rather standard, even if the content doesn't necessarily support it, but by the time you're done literally everything else on the list, you will probably not be even halfway to the 10,000 kills needed. Kills aren't super plentiful playing normally, so you'll probably farm one of the infinite spawners, while trying to make sure you don't run into the bug where it crashes the game after too many kills(on PS4). That's not particularly fun, and just doesn't respect the player's time. If not for that trophy, this would be a much easier recommendation for trophy hunters. As is, it turns into a slog, since there's no content to support that last boring ass trophy.
