Popular Post Suicide_Tortuga
#117: Borderlands Borderlands Defender First platinum of the year, good way for me the start it by entering a new series I have never played. I enjoy the cel shaded graphics, the humor, reference, and just fucking shit up in Pandora. I was promised treasure from that vault but I never got it, so I'll be returning back in the sequel for it. But for now, time to chip away at those DLC trophies, cause I'm not having a platinum stay at 57%.
Popular Post themindisacity
#124: Goosebumps: The Game (PS4) Fun throwback to old-school Macventure-style graphic adventure games. Brought back memories of reading the entirety of the Goosebumps library in a single summer (I'm old; there weren't as many back when I was reading them). Glad I waited until it went on sale, though. Still, it's more silly than scary, which is exactly what the books were. #125: STEINS;GATE (Vita) Wow. I was so worried I wasn't going to like it, because it came so highly recommended and yet nearly three chapters in I just wasn't feeling it. But things picked up fast after that, and I enjoyed the ride. I'll join my voice with everyone else: you're doing yourself a disservice if you just text-skip for a 3-4 hour . I can easily see myself double-stacking this, and not even skipping through the text (much) when I do.

Popular Post Xel
#87 Sly 2 (PS Vita) Unlikely Bandit Unlock all Sly Cooper and the Band of Thieves Trophies Tedious, repetitive and just terrible game design. Popular Post Koori504
#85 - Overlord Fellowship of Evil the game is not bad considering it has a lot of farming to do in order to upgrade all the characters and minions whereas the online trophies were a bit easier as some can be obtained through local game.

Popular Post DamagingRob
#105- Metro: Last Light Redux Platinum Trophy Get all Trophies. Didn't think I'd have this done till today, at least, after the first playthrough took me 3 days. But night before last I kicked it into 2nd gear(don't think it was 3rd, 'cause I didn't turn into a child afterwards ;P), and finished a speedrun early the next morning. Then did the DLC missions, and that was that. And with that, I'm done with the Metro series. Wish there were more. :'( First Plat of 2016. Here's to another (hopefully) great year of trophy hunting! *Raises glass* Edited January 4, 2016 by DamagingRob

The sisters were fine but completely inferior to the original CPUs. Rebirth 1 story was much better too. i'll play Rebirth 3 but in a few months. Popular Post starcrunch061
A couple in the break: Ending 2015 (literally - I received the plat on December 31st) is PLAT #149: BLOODBORNE It took me a while to get into this one, but when I did, I liked it. Not as good as Dark Souls or Dark Souls 2, but I give it a pass, since it tries out a lot of new stuff. Anyway, adding to this today is PLAT #150: ALPHA PROTOCOL An underrated gem on the PS3. I put this in for about 5 minutes back in 2011, but decided to get serious in November of 2015. Finished my 3rd playthrough today (well, most of it), and got the plat.

Popular Post NetEntity
# 23: Rayman Legends – Legendary I'M SO GLAD IT'S FINALLY DONE. I loved Rayman Origins, so of course I was stoked to play Legends. More Rayman! What could possibly go wrong? Many things. Now, the Legends is as tight and polished as Origins, heck, maybe even better. I even liked 8-Bit levels. But the Invasion Paintings (mostly Dark Rayman ones) proved to be an even bigger pain than the second half of the Treasure Chest levels back in Origins. And, by the time I've reached 4000 points, the Awesomness grind started to drive me even more insane. Yes, I was playing the challenges since the very beginning and steadily getting better - my main cup income consisted of silvers with ocassional golds, and during the final six weeks it was mostly golds with rare silvers in between, but the grind is abysmally slow, the amount of points is miniscule and I wouldn't wish it upon my worst enemies (... on the second thought... I totally would've). *sigh* Oh, and Murray can go die in the fire.
Popular Post Flukedit
Platinum #12 One Piece: Pirate Warriorsking of the majestic oceans of the world This game has one of the worst trophies I have seen in a game. Anyone who has attempted this platinum will understand which I am talking about. End game time over 70 hours because of a stupid RNG system on the end of level coins/rewards. Everything else about the game is thoroughly enjoyable however
Popular Post hpknight
# 14 - Deus Ex: Human Revolution Platinum You unlocked every trophy in the game. This is probably one of the best looking games i've seen on PS3. It has so much detail and it actually runs at a decent frame rate. Plus it's a super fun game. It would have been even more fun if i wasn't going for the platinum.

Popular Post zadorvp
PLATINUM #267: Rogue Galaxy A True Star King Unlock all trophies. Some comments/images in spoiler: Ah, I have this amazing platinum at last *_* I had always hoped to get a remaster of this, so when I read about one of my top 5 PS2 games getting a trophy supported emulation release on PS4, I was super excited. The trophy list came out shortly before release and it was awesome, just as I expected. Not perfect though, since it had some unnecessary trophies (level 99), and lacked some I wished had been there (complete Mio's logs, get all alternate outfits, get the final versions of all of Jaster's unique weapons, etc), but it was still something I never truly expected to see. I'd really recommend this game to anyone who likes JRPGs and/or Level-5 as it's not too tough and it's got more pros than cons. The game's storyline is not all that original overall and suffers from some issues with pacing and things being mentioned/shown moments before they're important and/or are resolved, but it's still charming, has interesting/lovable/funny/etc characters and features some great bosses, battle transitions (similiar to Final Fantasy XII's, but in a random encounter style), story moments, and playable characters that are all unique with their weapons, skills (both their individual and combination attacks), swimming styles (!), revelation flows (skill/buff learning system that's some kind of mix between the FFXII license board and X Sphere Grid), etc. It also has some interesting alien species resembling creatures and animals, but sadly only one of them is used for a party member (who is also my favourite party member) and the rest (apart from the below exception) are mostly unimportant NPCs/shopkeepers/Insectron opponents. In the usual JRPG style, this game also features post-game dungeons. Two of them, in fact, but they are basically the same setting-wise. One is the Ghost Ship where you go through some floors to fight old bosses, meet someone oddly familiar, and get the best outfit and weapon for Jaster. The second one is the Ghost Ship *again* but this time it's Xxtreme with 100 randomly generated floors, new bosses (some more or less palette swaps, some new) including the toughest boss fight in the game, tons of strong monsters (great for level grinding), and spirits who either know they're or dead or don't know they're dead. Some consider this version of the ghost ship tough, but I was in my later 70s with my main trio when I started on this playthrough (60 something on my PS2 one) and finished with level 96 (the remaining three levels I got by the time I reached level 31 of my second run of Ghost Ship Xxtreme by just fighting the opponents that attacked me) without running into any real problems along the way. Once I hit level 99 for Jaster, I just put on the Stealth Guard and ran the rest of the way up (as I had already completed all monster hunts) without having to fight anything except bosses again. Naturally this game also needed a mini-game system of its own, so Insectron (and the Factory) fills that spot with it's insect-based chess/turn-based RPG combat battle arena. I caught some bugs early on and made them adults to breed later with my actual team, then ignored the bugs until I was done with my first run of GSE. Each time you complete GSE, you get a Royal Fruit that can be used to catch the Dark Emperor, one of the best Insectors in the game. After I caught that, I went to the regular Ghost Ship and caught three Rock 'N' Rollers and then ran through the GSE again while capping their stats by feeding them. They all reached full maturity (meaning they could no longer level up or get stat increases) by the time I reached the top again, where I got my second Royal Fruit (and Simon's last outfit) and went to catch another Dark Emperor. I bred my first Dark Emperor and the three Rock 'N' Rollers with my original low rank Insectors as planned (they retain about 90% of their stats on the larva that is born, but can now be raised to their max stats) and turned those new ones (and the second Dark Emperor) into adults and then went to fight in the Tournament area with them, where they gained big stat increases from fighting and leveling up (I still fed them whenever their satiety was low to boost them further). They naturally got through all Tournaments quite easily (including S rank version 2, which is required to be won to get one of the alternate outfits in the game), so no problems there. Just for fun, I named them Palpatine (a dark green Dark Emperor who was always my King), Kefka (second, weaker unbred Dark Emperor), Zorn (red/blue Rock 'n' Roller), Thorn (green Rock 'n' Roller), and Exdeath (purple-ish Rock 'n' Roller). Finally, on to the stuff I did that didn't include trophies for all the effort it took to complete them (again, since I did all that stuff on PS2 too): Obtained all rare items (required for Mio's game completion checklist) Completed the hunting record (required for Mio's game completion checklist) Filled all of the slots on everyone's Revelation Flows (required for Mio's game completion checklist) Did a bunch of Frog Log combining (but nowhere near all 600+), mainly with my main trio Fully developed all of Jaster's unique weapons (the special weapons) to their final forms and mastered them Beat the second round of S rank in the Insectron Tournament right after beating the first one Collected all treasure (except the ones inside GSE since those are randomly placed) Completed a whole bunch of Hunter Coin challenges (it's a shame there's no use for them after you get the Platinum License, which for me was as soon as the licenses were available to purchase) Collected all the alternate outfits in the game As for the stuff I did NOT complete: The third round of S rank in the Insectron Tournament (I honestly did not want to deal with the 999 stat enemies on that final round again, just getting the last alternate outfit was enough for now) The entire frog log since that's ~600 combinations (76 weapons for everyone except for Jaster who has 96 combinations) with no reward of any kind given Get everyone to level 99 (since all but my main trio are levels 85+ ) Making ultimate weapons for everyone (I only made them for my main trio, the rest had to do with their earlier bought/found/combined ones) Get a full team of 5 Dark Emperors (it's just a lot of pointless effort) Max all stats for my Insectors (the Rollers had everything except health maxed, the Dark Emperors weren't quite maxed on the resistances) Man, that's a lot of pointless text I just typed (and didn't proofread). Sorry about that *_* I also seriously took a lot of screenshots that I didn't use for this post I just really love this game. P.S. Looking forward to seeing what Omar and PREDRAG-K's guide ends up looking like
Myu
92 Hakuoki: Stories of the Shinsengumi Fujoshi Got all the trophies. Well done! You're a beautiful person with your whole life ahead of you. oh yeah.. I am now a Fujoshi... My first Reverse Harem Visual Novel. I haven't watched the anime (and I don't have a plan to watch it anytime soon while on sane mind, yeah, I dislike Reverse Harem very much) ok, I really can't tell much about it's gameplay since it is your typical 100% Visual Novel games where you read wall of text, see CGs now and then and the story's ending is based on your choices, then choose other choices to get other endings... the trophies requirements are somehow a chore, since you need to unlock all the CGs, endings and encyclopedia entries... which requires you to replay the game (thank you chapter select) and then choose the other ending/choices you haven't picked... then after unlocking all story endings, dun dun dun... there's a Post Game story which is more like a filler on what happened in between the chapters... and guess what... more CGs/endings and encyclopedia entries... YAY!! oh what fun... I seriously don't blame you if you decided to press that Square button. Aside from repetitive chapter select, the trophy requirements are not hard... I could actually consider it has an easy plat... so... if you want an easy plat, this is of the Visual Novel you are looking for... but hopefully you still read it's wall of text since it has a great story to offer... oh lastly... just expect to do eyeroll now and then when witnessing "fan service" CGs... goodness.. seriously... can't these men drink/suck blood normally??? *facepalm* and *kyaa* my eyes... where the heck these these pink flowers come from that is popping now and then... that supposed to be best end though... *sob* Time to take a break from trophy hunting for now and start again collecting Stars of Destinies in Suikoden III~ (lol, it's kinda funny to think that last January 2015, I also took a break from trophy hunting and collected Stars of Destinies in Suikoden II ) once I finished Suikoden III... the journey to 100 begins/resumes As a girl, I can tell you that I absolutely loved this VN. I loved the CGs, I think the art is gorgeous. The story was amazingly well made (you discover different parts of the story depending on who you decide to follow). Hakuoki is classified as otoge (otome game = game for girls) and let's say reverse harem games are created to appeal to girls (just like classic harem games/animes are focused on what guys are more susceptible to like, eg massive boobs, striped pantsu and moe everywhere. The "drinking CGs" are the equivalent of all those girls who bend in a very awkward way for the sole purpose of showing their underwear to the player. Collecting CGs and glossary terms are not out of the ordinary in this particular genre either, just as much as the walls of text. You can't buy a horror game and resent it for being scary, that's the same thing here. The trophies unlock just by playing the game, so I didn't think it was that much of a chore. Maybe you didn't read the entries as soon as you got them and had to replay some parts of the game? Judging from your review, I can't really tell if you liked it or not.

Popular Post Hemiak
It's been a while since my last update so I'll do my last three. #84 Carnival MasterAll Trophies Won! .80% This game was pretty fun. It's definitely a challenge but no where near as bad as I thought it was going to be. I enjoyed playing this with my kids for a couple days and had a good time pushing myself to finish all the challenges for each mini game. About 80% of the trophies are pretty much handed to you, one or two you have to do a little grinding for, and the rest are skill/luck based challenges. The two hardest challenges probably took me about 2 hours each to complete. All in all a challenging but fun game. The downside is that now my wife and kids don't let me play with them as I've mastered all the games :'( Difficulty: 8/10 Fun: 7/10 ------------------------------------------------------------------ #85 Congratulations! Congratulations! Thank you for playing this far! 3.77% I was expecting a recreation of the good times I used to have playing Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past on the SNES. And that's exactly what I got. The game requires 3 runs to complete, one of which is on Spelunker mode, where one hit (from anything) kills you. It's a challenge, but not as bad as I feared it would be. Most bosses are pretty predictable, and by leaving a screen and returning you can reset the enemies. Useful if you have three scorpions right on top of you after zoning in. You can block pretty much anything in the game, provided you take the time to upgrade your shield every time it's available. The tower defense mini games (of which there are 5) are tedious to complete, but pretty easy following a guide. The Dash Circuit has a bit of a learning curve, but also isn't as bad as people make it out to be. All in all I had a great time playing this gem and would recommend it to anyone. Difficulty: 7/10 Fun: 9.5/10 -------------------------------------------------------------- #86 A long hard road Received all trophies 3.17% I played this because Zajac added it to the game list for our platinum race. I had been interested in it before that, as I loved 8 - 32 bit RPGs, and was hoping for a similar experience. The problem was, the game just didn't have the greatness that a lot of the old games had. Sure, it had the basic feel, but the characters were uninspiring and I didn't really care for the plot. The plat isn't particularly difficult, other than the Eternal Slip mini-game, which is an exercise in patience and frustration. You have to buy every item in the game, which requires some grinding, and meticulously following a check sheet, since half the game can't be reached by back tracking. You have to do a 2nd play through to beat the game without fighting any optional battles. The good thing is all your gear from the first run carries over, and you can set the battle slider to 0x, so you don't have to worry about running from everything. All in all a decent homage to old school RPGs, but I wouldn't actually recommend it unless you really want that old school feel. Difficulty: Main game (3/10) , Eternal Slip (7.5/10) Fun: 5/10 Edited January 5, 2016 by Hemiak
