Popular Post Jounochi
Platinum #69 - Tales from the Borderlands (PS4) This game is seriously Tell Tale's best game to date!! The story was awesome with almost every single character being memorable, the QTEs were pretty fun at some points, and it was just so damn funny! This was also their most polished game that I've played. In TWD, TWAU, and GoT there were frame rate drops but there were no noticeable drops in this game! Also, decisions in this game felt like they actually mattered which is something that, until GoT, I hadn't noticed much of. Enjoyment: 10/10 Difficulty: 1/10 Gets my seal of approval! Popular Post Juzota
#42 - Grim Fandango Remastered (PS4) Number Nine Ticket Get all other trophies in the game. Without a guide this would've been impossible Plat for me because most of the puzzles were so absurd. With a guide this was one of my easiest Platinums. The story was okay, but nothing too amazing. Some of the characters were pretty funny and so on. Nice experience and nice add to my collection. Best part of this Platinum was that it was "free" thanks to PS+. Never would've bought this game by myself. "Oh, all right then, lift those knees, stick close to my light, and try to sing in key! This little light of mine, I'm gonna let it shine. Popular Post TheYuriG
#206 Ratchet and Clank: Full Frontal Assault Pure coop fun with ChipsyBoy! Highly recommend cooping the whole way through this game, I found it more boring and harder when playing by myself. and #207 Ratchet and Clank: Into The Nexus This game was incredible, but short. Requiring 4 playthroughs for bolts to buy RYNO VII and the last armor is bullshit, but I used a backup save and saved myself one playthrough. Couldn't care less. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ This was my last RNC game and now I have all the platinums! Popular Post Mcbeanstr
#74 Broken Age Finally managed to pop this plat. That scumbag spoon was a pain in the ass. Gotta say I really enjoyed playing this game just because of its retro take on point and click games. This is how it should be done (Telltale are you listening?) as far as I am concerned. I particularly enjoyed those wiring sequences and was glad the solutions changed in every playthrough. I had so much fun jotting down the symbols and finding the correct combinations To sum things up if you like Point and Click games that don't take themselves too seriously you will definitely enjoy this game. Plat difficulty 3/10 Overall enjoyment 9/10. Edited January 10, 2016 by Mcbeanstr
Popular Post Saltyie
Platinum 80 - SAWCompletion Time - 6 Hours 25 Minutes (#38 on the Fastest Achievers list!) Overall a pretty fun game. Probably a 6/10, enjoyable enough but has flawed combat and repetitive puzzles. It kept me intrigued enough to go on to the end and since it's a few years old you're bound to get a good price on it, so I'd recommend it for a quick Sunday completion I've heard the sequel improves on this so I'm looking forward to starting it! Now back to FFXIII :-) Edited January 11, 2016 by Saltyie
Popular Post Floriiss
#121: Resident Evil Revelations Eye on the Trophy Obtain all trophies. First off let me start with saying that platinum image is cool! Haha, alright, now on topic! Revelations wasn’t as good as RE5, but definitely better than RE6. As with most RE’s the story was enjoyable, but sadly it didn’t contain Co-op. Getting a total of 150 bonuses was a bit annoying and getting to level 50 and getting 10,000 kills was quite a grind, but luckily it wasn’t that bad. Looking forward to play RE:R2. Heard it was less grindy, which is definitely a positive thing #122: LA Cops Platinum Badge Only the best of the best earn the right to wear a platinum cop badge. Only the best of the best earn the right to wear a platinum cop badge… really? The best of the best? Seems like it doesn’t take much to be the best of the best haha. This game was really easy and fun aswel. The auto-aim made this game a joke. You can literally walk in a room and mash the auto-aim and shoot button and everyone is dead. Nightmare difficulty disabled the auto-aim function, which made it a little bit more challenging, but despite that it was still very easy lmao. What surprised me the most is the amount of golden trophies this game has. Not complaining though.. I mean.. who doesn’t like golden trophies?! Popular Post Priere
#58 Grim Fandango Remastered "Number Nine Ticket" I...am not good at spanish. Honestly, i never tried the original version of Grim Fandango, and please forgive me for this, but i do not intend to play it again either. But, i did like the game and the story....what i didn't like though...the puzzles that make zero pepperoni sense, and maybe the interactivity system, oh and most importanly, myself for not figuring out that there is a running button....so i had to do Year 1 & 2 walking....WALKING!! Overall, i liked the game, but it was flawed a lot, maybe that was why it's good? I don't know, this is my opinion so you should not be entitled to it if you want to try it. Oh and i also liked that the trophy titles are voiced dialogues in the game...makes it a little spicy So i got my Number Nine Ticket, i have no further need to talk. If you got this game either by purchase or through PS+, go ahead and try it for yourselves, it might be worth it
Popular Post Ala-Arska
Sorcery Saga: Curse of the Great Curry God Master of the Way of Curry Obtained all the trophies! Yay, you! Seems like the burden was more than she could curry Such loveliness, it actually says 'yay' on the Platinum description. And the image itself is quite charming as well What started out as a cutesy roguelike dungeon crawler, soon escalated into a 100+ hour Nightmare of Grinds. You pretty much have to find every item available, and there's over 700 of those buggers. Thanks to the randomness that goes with the territory, I spent 2 whole days searching for one, last goddamn weapon. Frustration level --> through the roof As I was making my way across the final, 256 floors high, dungeon for the fourth time, I had to turn off the music and sounds. Enemies started to annoy the crap out of me with their whining death screams, music became an abstract fart in my surrealistic mind. I was lost in insanity, I still may be. I did manage to nab the 4th Fastest Achiever position. Less than 50 achievers on that list, but seeing my name there always puts a stupid grin on my face All this makes the game seem like a huge pile of donkey manure, but it actually isn't. Just don't go for the Platinum. Believe me, it's not worth the agony. As for recommending SS: CotGCG, I'd say it's a decent buy for fans of said roguelike games. It's not hard, but extremely tedious. Beware, you have been warned! ABANDON ALL HOPE, YE WHO ENTER HERE A new year, and I'm still indecisive what to play next. Therefore my RNG is back with a vengeance...The Order: 1886 is the lucky SOB this time Edited January 10, 2016 by Ala-Arska
Popular Post MStalker58
#87 Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time A fairly easy platinum and a decent game although the combat can get a little repetitive and boring after a while. Had to do a 2nd playthrough since I missed one damn sand cloud. Luckily the game wasn't very long so it only added a few hours. Time to start on Warrior Within next and then try to finish off the trilogy.

Popular Post D-Tron
#87 - Legends of War: Patton Legend of War I feel like I'm alone when I say I like it when PS Plus offers games I would never play or pay for. Legends of War is definitely a hit or miss type of game that I would never pay $30 for (and yes, as far as I'm aware it never got a price drop). It's a war strategy game that is pretty awful in almost every aspect. The PSP quality visuals bothered me and I don't consider myself a graphics whore. If you can manage to look past the visuals which by the way are also hard too look at with the horrendous camera this game has, There's always your soldiers that say the same four lines of dialogue. "Awaiting orders Sir!" "Ready for battle Sir!" "All ready for battle Sir!" and just "Sir!" are literally the only lines your units will say. There's even a female unit from the French Resistance that you can recruit that doesn't say anything but when she's hit she still grunts like a dude, wtf? The redeeming factor (and biggest part) of this game is its formula. It's a strategy game unlike something I have ever played. It's turn based where you and the Germans take turns moving all of your units and attacking similar to Player and Enemy Turns in Disgaea and Fire Emblem. Unlike Disgaea and Fire Emblem though, You don't move your units on a grid based stage. Instead your units freely roam the battlefield and instead of number of spaces they can move they are limited to meters they can travel per turn. Just like a war you have to take advantage of the environment to take cover. Crouching, an ability that all of you know from FPS games also comes into play in this game and it's actually useful to utilize it as units can take cover behind smaller objects and also allow allied units to shoot over them instead of at them. It's far from a perfect formula though. Each unit has a special ability but they're so generic and often can't be used properly or are just too overpowered and used all the time. There is also this stupid "Fog of War" system where you and your enemies can't see each other unless unless you're within a certain distance from them. The tanks are practically useless for the player because sometimes the object of the mission is to travel somewhere and tanks are too fucking big to move between two trees sometimes. On the flipside, the Germans have too many tanks and they're placed in the worst places possible. You know those two trees and fog of war system I mentioned earlier? Well just put a German tank right after the two trees and since your tank can't fit thorugh them you decide "I'll just move an infantry unit there". With the fog of war preventing you from seeing a certain distance, it's not until you have moved said infantry unit through the trees and right in front of you is a fucking tank you were unable to see before. You can't undo the movements your units make either so that unit is practically dead since those two towers of lumber also limit your tank's combat ability to fight the other tank. The only other unit that can damage tanks are Bazookas so I took two or three of those in each mission because seriously, fuck tanks. It's not an awful game and if anything it's got an easy plat. If you love Strategy games, it may provide some amount of enjoyment until the Germans spam all those stupid, fucking tanks for a short amount of time, but I would approach this game with caution. Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 6.5/10
Popular Post Dragon-Archon
#129: Zombie Driver HD I'm so glad I got this game from a PSN sale for a few euros, because it's not worth more than that. A nameless city suddenly became infected with a mysterious disease and is now overrun by zombies. This is a very mediocre game, the story mode has 31 missions with a briefing and result screen. It's obvious the army is just using you to do their dirty work. The missions get really cheap later on when exploding zombies are almost everywhere. These deal massive damage when you're near one. The Railgun is handsdown the best weapon to deal with them, The races are terrible since the game has a top-down view, my attention was divided between watching the minimap and the screen for obstacles and invisible walls at corners. More than once I'd hit an invisible wall and end up losing the race. Slaughter mode is just a survival mode with endless zombies. Like in the story mode, exploding zombies will swarm you in the later waves. All in all a fun game if you like to kill zombies infinitely and want to race, but I wouldn't pay more than €2-€3. #130: Monster Monpiece This game reminds me a lot of Yugioh, which I enjoyed a lot. The goal is to hit your opponent's base to reduce their life points to zero. Monsters are divided in 4 categories (melee, ranged, buffer, and healer) and can be summoned using mana. Mana regenerates each turn and it's possible to get bonus mana when summoning monsters from the same colour 3 times in a row. Fusions are also possible to give the stats to another monster of the same type. A unique feature is upgrading cards by rubbing them. The mp trophies are easily boostable, because you can just forfeit the match. It took almost 2 hours to do 200 matches, but I didn't mind that because you get cards too. Some of these cards are exclusive to the mp, which sucks since the offline AI almost always starts with these to get lots of mana and reduce my mana. A few concept arts I liked are Red Dragon, Fia, and Ouroboros. Edited January 11, 2016 by Dragon-Archon
