Popular Post BlueFireReaper
Platinum #59: inFAMOUS Second Son Was definitely one to enjoy as my first PS4 platinum, considering the original inFAMOUS game was one of my first platinums I ever got. Though I felt that the Expert difficulty was much easier this time around compared to 1 and 2 (though this may be simply going through the game by experience). I did like the mechanic of using more than one type of power in full (compared to inFAMOUS 2, where it was primarily electricity and what you could do with fire/ice was quite limited). I didn't like however that you couldn't just switch them freely on the fly (though this did slightly add difficulty and was needed when the game introduced you to a new power). With my PS+ subscription, I'll be tackling First Light next.
Popular Post Lord_of_Ra
You Win- 1.07% URGain all trophies. What a blast! Except for the fact that the port is mediocre, but still! The game is hard to pick on at first, with so many stuff to do and having to manage it constantly. One mistake and it's over. Even so, I'd argue that the hardest part of the entire game is the first time you experience it. After you form your own strategy you can safely assume it will carry over the next difficulties. That is, if it works on Classic, if not, then you better aim to change it before Ironman mode. I was tempted to stamp a 7 on this game due to impossible difficulty, but after the first three months, the game is much much easier, almost as if you're back to a mix between Normal and Classic. Overall, great game, poor performance. No wonder it didn't sell well on consoles. Even so, I HIGHLY recommend this game to anyone. It's gameplay is freaking awesome! Difficulty: 6/10 Enjoyment: 8.5/10 due to the need of 5 playthroughs.

VitalFury
Rocket League with 100% a few seconds later. It was fun-ish, but I didn't enjoy it as much as a lot of others did/do (I'm not invested in many, if any, online games so that side doesn't appeal) Hit 5th fastest achiever with it too which was a surprise tbh. Popular Post voodoo_eyes
#108 - WWE Legends of Wrestlemania I'm not much of a Wrestling fan, I used to enjoy it in the 90s though. So this was way better than I expected, because it pretty much features wrestlers from the 90s which is great. I didn't expect much from it to be honest. The graphics were poor, the character models were action figure like, and even the wrestlers who were just plain fat, were all buff in this game. I ended up having a lot more fun, than I thought I would, The inclusion of video highlights from the original "fights" was pretty neat as well. The only thing kind of annoying were the controls for getting stuff from under the ring, which almost never worked. Other than that quite the good game. Popular Post linksbanePS
Platinum Trophy The Kenway trilogy has had a weird way of making the Templar seem much more rational than the Assassins at nearly every turn. I guess this game was inevitable in that case. There was a misbalance of too little story and way too many collectibles here. Shay's character was alright. Nothing to really distinguish him except that he really mourned having to kill people he cared for. That probably would have had more emotional impact if those relationships had been founded at all. Instead, the other main characters are met in the tutorial and that's it. The gameplay is a copy/paste of IV so I guess that can be good or bad depending on you opinions of that game. The locations are just as forgettable as in IV. Remember Halifax? I sure don't! The only touch I really liked was the pumpkins placed all over Sleepy Hollow. smellslikejavier
Alright, so getting the platinum might have affected my overall enjoyment of the game, but I still didn't like Until Dawn all that much. It might be because I started it expecting something awesome because of how positives all the reviews were. The story was really meh to me and it didn't intrigue me at all. Getting the platinum wasn't hard but frustrated me because of a bug that I encountered while on my 'This Is THE End' playthrough. I had to uninstall the game and when I did, I had to restart the playthrough. I won't say it wasn't good because I did enjoy it, to an extent. well the whole game was made as a parody/homage/satire of every horror movie, that's why is full of cliches and references of every thing that you find in the horror movie genre, so the story was just a combination of a typical slasher story + a monster story + a ghost/spirit story and the way they succeeded to combine them all in just 1 story was awesome, so you shouldn't have expected to see a masterpiece script of something that wasn't trying to be taken seriously to begin with, and that was aimed to truly horror movie fans who would also have fun spotting all the movie references made through the game like me. Popular Post J2V89
#101 Bully Platinum Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 9 Personal Rating: 87 Recommend: Yes For my #2 PS2 platinum I chose Bully. Long ago I played the scholarship edition on 360 which was a bit more longer. On that version it had many more new things added that the PS2 version didn't have such as new classes but unfortunately it was very glitchy and crashed a lot. 100% completion was required and I did that. For this version there was no need for 100% completion so I didn't mind. Story was great and done well. It has that GTA feeling but in a school setting. I recommend this game and it's very fun. If there is a sequel someday I would be happy but if not it's ok with me. Liked using the go-kart a lot.

Popular Post Bartolomeus
A week ago I got the following two platinums. -- 9th platinum Game of Thrones (PS4) Difficulty 6 Enjoyment 8 Now, the game was not very difficult at all. To be frank, had it not been for a few combat instances I could simply have left the room and the game would've finished itself. But all the decision-making. The game really caught the books' atmosphere; I really felt that every decision I made fucked everything up a little bit more. And when I occasionally did something that the right people seemed to like, that good feeling lasted for about two minutes until I made a bad choice again. I spoke to a friend about the choices I made, and it seems that the choices I made have less impact than I first thought which removed some of the constant fear I was under during the first two episodes where I thought that every third decision could possibly kill off the entire family (EDIT: Which I find to be negative, as this fear was the most intriguing about the two first episodes I played). All in all a fun game, and I'm looking forward to season two. -- 10th platinum Assassin's Creed: Revelations Difficulty 4 Enjoyment 8 I did not plan to plat this game at all, I started playing it after talking about it with a friend, and my plan was to finish the story and do some of the quick'n'easy trophies, but as I progressed through the story and discovered how much I liked the gameplay and the setting, I decided to go for it. The toughest offline trophy was getting 100% sync on all main story missions, where a few of them was a bit tedious. The rest of them were fun and easy, and I generally had a great time getting all the offline trophies. Online, however, was a different story. There's a trophy for finishing a game in all game modes, which was hard considering how few players played the game, but after sending messages to a bunch of folks asking them to vote for a particular game mode, so it worked out. The multiplayer was fun enough, but I haven't looked back since I reached level 20. Once again, a great game. All in all a fun game, and I'm looking forward to season two. that's something that happens in every Telltale's game: thousands of choices and only a very few of them have a slight impact on the game, that's why i always said that only games like heavy rain and until dawn have the most impactful choices of the whole "choice based game" genre (not saying that every little choice affects the rest of the game of those two, but comparing them to all the other similar games they have way more impactful choices, since everyone can die or live in those two and there are many different alternative scenes that can happen), the first the walking dead from telltale was a joke when it was advertised as a game where every little choice matters and in the end it didn't mattered what you chose, the ending was always the same, only people that never had a ps3 and therefore never played heavy rain would have been surprised with the walking dead's choice mechanics.
