Neither boring nor enjoyable. 2nd playthrough doesn't make really a difference you either kill or flip people.

Popular Post SoIidWoIf
#39 Assassins Creed Syndicate My rating 10/10 Difficulty 3/10 I love assassins creed, and unity disappointed me so much, but this game made me love it again, so lighthearted, the assassin characters were two of my fav yet, especially Evie, and there were so made fun gameplay mechanics, that made the game a lot of fun, even if a bit repetitive, so 10/10 from me for how much I enjoyed it
Popular Post Makilio
#44: Disgaea 4: A Promise Unforgotten Well, I finally got around to completing the console Disgaea games, and my love for the series keeps growing. Disgaea 4 is home to the grindiest platinum of the series, and there's quite a bit of RNG involved (I spent ~5 hours resetting just for a legendary R39 axe to finish my item collection). While I still have the Vita version to complete, I think I'll spend some time with other games before I go back to farm items and ship parts. For those wondering, my save file was at 375 hours, as I played quite a bit (~250) casually before I started trophy hunting. That efficiency

Popular Post Kishnabe
Platinum #127: Day of the Tentacle Remastered (Vita) OCD; Perfect Description of a Trophy Hunter Really thought I had screwed myself over for Mental Patience....since I taped the screen...and it skips a bit.....maybe that was just dialogue. Have not played any PC adventures till early 2010's, nice to see these older games get a remastered version for newer generation to experience. There should be more games like this....ala Demetrios. I enjoyed this a lot more than Broken Age but still can't beat Grim Fandango. Hoping to see Full Throttle soon.
Popular Post jaehyun1009
#78 - Saints Row IV: Re-Elected (PS4) Difficulty 3/10 Score 8/10 Ugh... that glitched trophy "where's my cape" required me to play through most of the game 2 times (second one being a no-upgrade run to MAKE SURE that the trophy didn't glitch on me AGAIN)... the solution over in the .org site did not work so I ended up searching for the clusters over all the map like a maniac THREE times. fuck. me. It's a good game and humorous at times but the aforementioned experience soured my perception of the game a bit.

Popular Post fabmorais_2011
Freedom Wars Joy and Prosperity Earn all trophies. This is a demanding platinum, I tell you. I'm proud of this plat, but also have quite a love/hate relationship with the game. There's so much to love, but so much to hate as well. The good: great setting and visuals; very satisfying combat once you finally master it; interesting story; FUN online. The bad: the most obnoxious weapon upgrade/modification system ever conceived; horrid RNG drops; game jumps from "I can get through 80% of it without even knowing how to play it properly" to "I have to master all aspects of the game completely to finish it". Really, this is a lesson for all developers on how NOT to handle a learning curve in a game. The game punishes you at end for not taking the time to learn its nuts and bolts, but makes no effort whatsoever to teach them seamlessly during your playthrough. Instead, you'll find yourself having to come to grips with an overcomplicated menu system and weapon upgrading mechanics too late in the game, and that takes dedication. Even so, the game is so unbalanced it hurts. If you want to solo the end game and post game, you'll need to spend A LOT of time farming pieces to upgrade your weapons/ create augmentations. And, once you've done that, there's only one strategy to overcome the last operations: set your AI members to Scatter, you accessory to Cover me and eventually Prioritize Revival and have Health packs, Ammo clips and Automatic Resucitation itens ready. Otherwise, you'll be taken down constantly from opponent Sinners, who will gang on you and kill you with one-two hits regardless of your augmentations. So the game turns into devising this strategy and repeating it. That's why the online is so much fun instead, because you can team up with strong players and take down big Abductors in other fun ways. But, anyway, since this was the very first Monster Hunter-like game I've ever finished, I had a lot of fun with it regardless and it feels nice to have conquered this beast Edited January 18, 2017 by fabmorais_2011

Popular Post Sunflower
#64 - Steins;Gate 0 Great follow-up to the original Steins;Gate; new characters were great and I loved the interactions with the new and existing cast (Suzuha & Daru's banter was my absolute favourite). The story was still really interesting and convoluted as expected, but the ending came off as confusing and wasn't fully explained. I'm probably just being picky because of how great the first one was but I still enjoyed 0 regardless.
Popular Post Radebe78
#91 THE EVIL WITHIN Pure Evil Well this is first platinum for me this year, strong start as I would like to think of it.... Started this game precisely one year ago, but abandoned after some time, just felt at the time as I was not ready for the gory and bloody hell that I just went through. Eventually I picked it up again, one month ago..or little bit more...and been playing until now, still need to finish all of DLC. This is one more example of love and hate for the game. I love the genre, we need more of games like this, loved creatures, all the types of weapons, atmosphere, surviving the horrors on every corner on lowest of the low on everything. Hate the twisted mind of the creator, Shinji Mikami I believe, the sadistic bastard who placed all the things and shit that killed me 474 times on AKUMU difficulty playthrough. 474 TIMES....I knew I did die a lot, but when I saw this information on end screen I was truly surprised. Total play time around +50 hours. Akumu lasted for even 20h. Speedrun was doable but still tested your skills, and memory from previous playthrough. Nothing in this game, while on akumu, was remotely easy for me. Which means everything was very very difficult. Chapter 6 and 10 in particular. Who designed checkpoints on the akumu needs to be whooped seriously... One hit kill sucks, getting killed as you are trying to set on fire fallen haunted sucks even more (while he is on the ground haunted sways with his weapon and kills you....bravo SM), trying to hit anything with your weapons SUCKS ASS THE MOST. Swaying, wobbly moves...enemies taking enormous amount of damage, especially bosses...although the medicine for them is magnum with fully upgraded damage, maybe with the couple of upgrades on clip size and firing speed. But beware as ammo for magnum is scarce, use it wisely! I do recommend the game, especially if you are fan of survival horror, but few will have perseverance to prevail until the end, i.e platinum!
Popular Post markcavan
#126 -The Deadly Tower of Monsters on PS4 (3rd plat of 2017) - 36.38% UNCOMMON For a long time I've been looking forward to playing this game based on all the reviews and folks saying it was such a fun game. Well, I was massively underwhelmed. The best thing about this game is the director's commentary as you play but the game itself is boring with clunky controls and the graphics leave a lot to be desired. Don't get me wrong, its not awful just not a memorable game. Easy platinum however :-) Glad I got this free on PS+ as I would be even more disappointed if I'd spent €20 on this. Overall 3/10 enjoyment with a 3/10 for difficultly

Popular Post playdemos1
#88 - Table Top Racing: World Tour Enjoyment: 6/10 (Just because the music is awesome xD) Difficulty: 5/10 Second Plat of the year, glad I cleared this PS Plus tittle, was better than I expected to tell you the truth, the music is modern and electrifying what help towards the completion of the game. The game itself is fun, the only problems that I found was the number of tracks... there's just a few of them with 4 different routes for each one that consists in versions of the track that are bigger than the others and the AI... the AI is programmed to follow kind of a line in the entire track, if you touch them they will try to get back to their position, if they jump a platform and land more to the right or left they will instantly change their path... even if that means a 90º degree change in a straight line instead of moving left or right continually ... my English is not the best to explain this sh*t The trophies are "easy", some races though are pretty stupid, like some time attacks, hot laps and whatever the time is almost impossible, ohhh and 1M drift points... damn... devs sometimes like to give us a real challenge even though like I said they are considered easy you may find yourself struggling with 1 or 2 challenges... you can DO IT! JUST DO IT! You may want to boost the online races like I did in 2 hours+/-

I love Lego games so this is the game for me regardless of anything else! This has to be one of my favourite Lego games, next to Lego Dimensions, as I love Harry Potter as I have essentially grown up with the film series so I would jump at any chance to revisit and love this series again although it does make me feel old I love how it gets all of the story elements from the films and makes it light-hearted and covered in Lego! I will now be playing the next game: Lego Harry Potter Years 5-7 as you have probably guessed Edited January 18, 2017 by RizzleAbbey12
