Popular Post Carlver
#34 Day of the tentacle Enjoyment: 7/10 Difficulty: 4/10 Everything's being said about this game, with the "misterious" increase of plats in this threads since the beginning of June. All in all, I didn't find it to be "one the best point & clicks" as many websites say, but still very enjoyable. Some of the puzzles were very obscure, and I ended up starting it again since the beginning with a guide.
Popular Post Ayzic
Platinum #109: Mortal Kombat X Enjoyment: 8/10 Difficulty: 7/10 This platinum is a little bit different from MK9 on the PS3 and Vita, as this one is actually not entirely skill/luck dependent. MKX has a trophy list that encourages the player to explore the various game modes that are offered, and is fairly rewarding trophy-wise. The most potentially difficult trophy in the game: "Dropping Fools," tasks the player with having a 10 game win streak in Ranked Online Matches. This sounds daunting, and it is if attempted legitimately. This trophy is made fairly easy with the aid of a save-scumming technique that allows you to just win 10 games in ranked. I rate this game a 7 in difficulty because you do need some skill in the game to actually be able to win fights online. This platinum trophy is awarded to those that have more patience and determination over people that have raw talent, since there are quite a few trophies that require asinine amounts of grinding, which is okay with me. Popular Post yellowwindow7
Platinum / Oceanhorn Monster of the Uncharted Sea a really good indie game, sure it's a Zelda clone... the boy you play as clothes been taken from link casual blue dress from wind waker, navigating the sea with your boat also been taken from wind waker, the camera angle made the game felt more like the classic zelda games but in 3D, it looks more like fat princess adventure, also cutting grass will reveal some gold coins there's even a what's looks like a master sword that you'll get at the near end of the game and there's a medal with a three triangles, they just changed their looks a bit, though the evil genius you need to hunt down looks like one of those killzone's helghast. but all in all this game is really good, if you want a zelda-ish game for your ps4 this game is what you been looking for. the plat is really easy and in fact you can plat the game even before you finish it, if there's a trophy that'll stop you from earning the platinum then it have to be the one involving fishing " Fish Sticks " early four fishes are straight forward to catch, but the last two might be a pain to get them out of the water. the ghost fish will invert the controls, best way to deal with it is holding the controller upside down and trust me it works! the second fish is the botfish that'll keep shocking you as long as it hocked up, best way to deal with it is to get all the eight heart container and the extra one from the graveyard island and then start fishing with full health and if you fail just quit the game and load it again to get full health again. the graphics is really nice i personally likes it, but don't expect the witcher 3 or Uncharted 4 graphics here it's a tablet game been ported to ps4, XBONE and PC, weird it did not released on Vita, ps3, and Wii U though. i really loved the soundtracks, some of them are still feel like hearing them looping inside my head, the only thing i dislike in the game is the last boss fight, it's a bit cluncky especially the first encounter. my next plat whether gonna be X-men Origin Wolverine or R&C crack in time all on ps3, i don't think i'm going to plat any of two tale of symphonia games i'm currently playing anytime soon. Popular Post voodoo_eyes
#156 - The Escapists: The Walking Dead After spending over an hour searching for a broom to craft the last item I needed, I finally got the plat in this RNG mess of a game. Don't have many good things to say about this one, actually only the concept is interesting (although not original, as there is a predecessor for this). Apart from 3-4 crashes, the loading times are atrocious considering the areas are fairly small. The inventory being limited to 6 slots is an annoyance in a game where you need to constantly pick up and combine stuff. The items being randomly generated doesn't help, as sometimes you'll have to spend hours just to get the items you need. Those items change only when you go to sleep at midnight. The weapons for the most part are terrible, all the guns are useless, except the shotgun and as far as melee weapons goes, I haven't found or crafted anything that was better than the machete. Quest givers are also glitched as fuck, sometimes they won't accept the items they ask you to get and I had to reload the final mission 3 times, because either the disguise didn't work (good luck figuring out what's needed to craft that btw, without using a guide) or the NPC that was supposed to tag along, refused to follow. So do yourselves a favor and stay away from this crap. Enjoyment: 5 Difficulty: 3

Popular Post Sofa King
# 62 Punchtime Explosion Pro Cartoon Network Punchtime Explosion XL Similar to PlayStation All-stars Battle Royale but I had more fun with this. Really easy plat aside from a couple of tedious trophies. The biggest disappointment was the cutscenes and the lack of voiceovers. That just seemed lazy on the developer's part. On the plus side it was only 99 cents so the few negatives weren't a big issue.

Popular Post Nihiris-
#72 - Odin Sphere Leifthrasir Odin Sphere Obtained all trophies! Very fun game and platinum! Nothing annoying and only two trophies are slightly grindy. I found the combat to be so fun that I loved going through the game a bunch of times with the different characters. I only played a little of the original game, but after playing this one through, I think this is the best Vanillaware game. The game looks gorgeous as well. Highly recommended!

Popular Post Masamune
The Platinum Prinny All that work for this, dood? And there's Platinum #50, doods! Now I can get back to my Christmas backlog (& hopefully stop talking like a Prinny too). The game was just as fun as last time, it was a little more grindy than I remember though... Just getting random dungeons to spawn can be a pain, sometimes you can get 2 in a day, & others it'll take weeks. When I needed my last 300K Evaluation points, I forgot about looking for dungeons & just kept doing the 4th level of the Castle over & over (probably 80-90 times) for the Lurker. You may only get about half as many points since there's no Gravity Core bonus, but it's still quicker than sleeping at the inn waiting for a dungeon to appear. I need to play Ar Tonelico now, I wonder where I'm gonna get a PS2 to do so. Yeah, I thought that was pretty cool too. & all the "Ar" games do have a pretty good soundtrack, that's one thing I always liked about them. I'd definitely recommend trying to play the other 3 "Tonelico" games too, Nosurge was okay, but those were so much better imo.

It was an absolute pleasure playing this game as well as earning most of the trophies (some of the kill x enemies with a certain method did require a little bit of grinding). All that's left is the Blood & Wine DLC for my 100%. I'll probably even pick up the complete edition in the future just to go for the platinum again and relive this amazing game. Popular Post Sofa King
# 63 Okay, you can sell the game now Deadpool (PS3) I thought this was a pretty good game. Aside from a pretty meh story and severe lack of enemy variety they did the Merc with the mouth justice with the humor and fourth wall breakage. Combat was fun, mixing melee and gunplay with upgradeable weapons from swords to laser rifles. Not too difficult, but there were a few parts toward the end where the difficulty spike was a bit brutal. Worth playing for Deadpool fans. This was also my second plat of the day, which is the first time I've ever done that

Popular Post lsroom__
#56: Severed Made Whole Obtain every trophy in the game. 43.18% (Uncommon) This was a really enjoyable game. I liked how you could employ different strategies, depending on your play style, to kill the enemies. I heard that the last boss fight was difficult for many people, but I beat it on my first try without any difficulty. You can get this platinum on just one play through if you get all three mementoes of your family members before the final boss fight. The only thing I disliked was the backtracking after you got all the abilities you needed. Some of the secrets were difficult to figure out, and I was left scratching my head trying to figure out how to solve them, so I ended up looking to the Internet for answers. Overall, however, the touch-based combat was fun, kept you on your toes and looting severed monster parts for upgrades felt rewarding and non-monotonous. Definitely recommend for any Vita owners out there. And one more thing, you might feel awkward holding the Vita with one hand to navigate while swiping the touchscreen with the other. I found the best way to play well is to put the Vita on a flat surface like a table so you can swipe and kill enemies faster and better.

Dead Space 3 is a mixed bag overall, in my opinion. I'll start off and say I enjoyed the game and had fun, which is the most important thing. With that said, it wasn't as enjoyable as Dead Space 1 or 2, because the horror element was just not there. However, a coop element was added so I could play with my girlfriend thru the entire thing which was nice. Since there are coop trophies, and since there's no matchmaking I can see this as a frustration for some. I'm looking forward to seeing a Dead Space 4, and hope it's created. The horror element was there - Dead Space 3 is still a horror game with a still terrifying atomsphere - it was just simply nerfed/corrupted by the increased action element. No matchmaking? The game has drop in/drop out coop, tied to its SP campaign. Doesnt need "matchmaking" with that feature and an invite feature.

While a few spots were a little creepy, the overall game was just action. I wasn't afraid to walk around the corner like the first two games. The gaming community generally agrees with this opinion, since the game underperformed sales-wise since it veered away from its roots. And, it does need matchmaking. What happens when you get to one of the spots that requires two people in order to get all of the sidemissions / collectibles (for trophies) and you don't know anybody who owns the game? The game forces you to pick someone from your friends list or enter an online ID to drop in / out, or just start together. There's no search, you must already know who's ready to play with you. Sure you can boost, but my point is this game makes you literally dependent on setting up a gaming session or playing with a friend ahead of time, unlike normal online trophies. Popular Post Juzota
#57 - Broken Age 3.3 Unlock all Broken Age Trophies Why does a game like this have a speedrun trophy? It's so dumb in my opinion. Oh well, thanks to @zadorvp for the great speedrun guide. It was really helpful and made things quite easy. Broken Age wasn't very enjoyable experience to me. Story wasn't as good as in games like Grim Fandango and Day of the Tentacle. Also the voice acting was really bad which was a big surprise when I realized that there were actors like Elijah Wood and Jack Black in this game. Especially Wood as one of the main characters was surprisingly dull, which was sad. Most of the characters in this game was either stupid or just boring. I can't really pick any character that stands out from the rest. Oh wait, the Spoon was alright. I guess? So yeah, it took me over an year to finish this because I just couldn't really get into this. But finally it's done and I can play something else. Hopefully something better. Enjoyment: 4 Difficulty: 2

By default game design, its a fact DS3 was still a horror game, and it clearly retained some horrific elements. A lot of horror games are never going to be as scary as they are if you're not using headphones nor playing at night, fyi. (Company also entirely ruin the immersion and tension.) And its definitely an exaggeration to say the overall game was action. The game just increased the action, it isnt what made up most of DS3. Youre still fighting non-humans most of the time, and I doubt you wasnt afraid to walk around the corner on a blind PT basis, because you dont know what to expect on your first PT. This game and Until Dawn the community exaggerate on not being scary. Little scary =/= not scary. DS3 wasnt as scary as the other games, we all know that, but to not call it scary at all as if it was The Last of Us (which is horrific and terrifying, but not scary) or any horror game that doesnt do its job well in the scare department, is just false. I could have remembered the game actually does have MM, otherwise how else do you join random's games (something I did to get those trophies/colls)..... Popular Post helloiamniven
#55 World of Final Fantasy True Grymoirian 10.31% Rare Difficulty: 5/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 The trophy images were really disappointing for this game, but that platinum trophy is just the most gorgeous colour. Well, this game was fun. I'd heard that it got worse as it went on, but I disagree with that in one sense - I thought the story was weak and without impact at the start, and the more the story went on, the more I actually cared about what was going on. Voice acting (that for most of the game did my head in) was at certain late-game points very emotional and well-performed. There was little to no challenge in the game though. Really easy for the most part. The occasional boss/intervention quest was a smidge troublesome, but I'm not sure that I even died once in the game, and that isn't testament to my own abilities. The battle system, in which you stack enemies on top of yourself to combine abilities and stats, is good. It seems weird to start but it is actually good when you get the hang of it. It was a joy seeing a tonberry and a cactuar stacked on top one of the characters. There is a good amount of depth in the battle system, due to the variety of FF monsters you can imprism and train (which was great fun btw), yet the issue is that this depth rarely comes to the fore, as a result of the game's dearth of difficulty. The main reason I enjoyed this game is because I love Final Fantasy, and this game really plays with that, to the point it probably could have been called 'Fanservice: Final Fantasy Edition'. Just heading to Cornelia near the start and hearing the Town and Castle themes, man. I loved it. There were a lot of cool settings - Nibelheim, Besaid, and so on, but all touched up and chibi-fied. The game is good, and you will enjoy it if you like FF and don't take yourself too seriously. However, I have a few issues. Firstly, Lann says 'honk' as a subsititute for an expletive far too much: 'What the honk!?'. This sounds awful and it hurt my brain every single time he said it. I understand that he can hardly drop f-bombs all over, but oh my god this word was just a terrible choice. Tama. I loved her in battle, and had her in one of my stacks more or less the entire game. What I did not the-love was her stupid the-style of speaking. WHY ADD THE WORD 'THE' EXTRANEOUSLY!? UGGGGGGGGHHHHH. WHAT THE FUCK. It was infuriating. The chibi aspect was fine for the most part, but I have to warn you - if you finish this game, and don't want permanent mental scarring, don't watch the credits. The credits are actually the worst thing I've ever seen in my life. Legitimately horrifying. A last little note about the trophies: This game is grindy if you want the platinum trophy. Not as bad as FFX, but much worse than FFXV if you're coming off the back of that. Try to keep note of treasure chests, cause you have to collect them all. Luckily though, nothing in the game is missable as far as I remember. Anyway, platinum number 55!
