Quaedam_Animae Posted March 21, 2015 Share Posted March 21, 2015 Kasumi Stolen Memories, Project Overlord and Lair of the Shadow Broker aren't technically DLC for the PS3 version, because you need those trophies to unlock the platinum trophy. So Mass Effect 2 has no GOTY edition with the Zaeed and Arrival DLC. That's why I said the DLC was INTEGRATED into the main game. What you were actually buying, and what you're always buying when content is already on the disc, is an unlock key. You'll know that you're just buying a key for content already on the disc if the download is only a few kilobytes. This is not always the case, though. It isn't always the case, sure, but more often than not it seems to be. Either way, seeing such a small download immediately raises a red flag for me, and if I find out that this content was already on the disc, I lose quite a bit of respect for the developer and publisher. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Same with the Uncharted 2 Game of The Year Edition Also the Mass Effect 2 Ultimate Edition is digital only. None of the Mass Effect games have retail complete editions.
