Games That You Wish Had 100 Trophies Or More

The infamous games. One of my favorite series and it seems I never get bored with them.

 

A couple I wish had more trophies. Maybe not 100.

Killzone Shadowfall.

 

I was kind of dissapointed with the KZ Shadow Fall list. Some of the typical Killzone trophies weren't there.

While I kinda agree that having 100 trophies would be a chore...as long as the trophies are NOT MP/Online or DLC related?

These games in particular are ones I wouldn't mind slaving over.

 

Uncharted (any of them would suffice as I love each game)

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag (any reason to spend hours on the sea or more intricate stealth/assassination scenes would be great)

Dragon's Dogma (I own the Dark Arisen edition and I had my doubts at first...but I've come to really enjoy the game and know they could have easily added a few dozen more trophies.)

Must disagree with this, in some cases. In a topic from long ago, there was a discussion on multiplayer trophies. I say games based on multiplayer could use about 100. I would love to dive back into Modern Warfare 3 in order to complete all of the challenges for a gun of your choice.

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn.  It has 39 already so I have 61 to add.  I'll refer to the release version, as typically trophies don't get added with patches.  Here goes;

 

One for getting each job to level 50 (the cap), and then one for all at level 50.  That's an extra 20.  Up to 59.  One for each relic weapon being created, that's 20 more to 79.  One more to upgrade one relic to it's Zenith (at the time +1) iteration.  80.

 

One for a complete set of darklight, mythology and coil gear each.  83.

 

One for completing each of the crafting, gathering and fishing logs.  11 more for 94.

 

One for getting to Second Lieutenant for each Grand Company. + 3 for 97.

 

One for having a total gil of 1,000,000. 98.

 

One for racing from a starting city to Mor Dhona in X amount of time without teleporting.  99.

 

The big 1-0-0;  stand naked in the cold and kill Svara in Coerthas.

If a game is going to feature MP/Online then they should be DLC that comes with your purchase.(Basically the same as they are now it just separates the BASE GAME and ONLINE gaming trophy lists.) I personally despise those kinds of trophies because I hate playing online so I replied to the topic based off my preference. 

 

When it comes to online, as I've stated in other threads, I would prefer if MP/online DIDN'T have anything to do with the base game.

 

Most people who don't like online trophies wouldn't want a game to have an additional 40-50 trophies dedicated to the online keeping them from obtaining a platinum or in some people's cases ruining percentages. (idc about percentages ruined by online/dlc but I have a special hatred for games forcing you to play with others for a platinum, but that's a discussion for another thread.)

Going back to Dragon's Dogma...I really think they could have added trophies spanning across the different vocations. Or at least making you maxing out the vocation rank for multiple classes. I don't know too much about the difference between the original and Dark Arisen but you figure Bitterblack Isle would have had some sort of trophy...I'm not there yet but I'm betting Daimon is harder than Grigori.

 

EDIT: There isn't even a trophy for maxing out your character's level, but there is for hiring pawns.

100 trophies for most games would require vast amounts of unnecessary padding.  And it would start a domino effect where other games would start adding trophies just to "keep up with the Joneses".  The current status quo is fine.

 

Do any games even have over 100 trophies? D;

 

Zen Pinball 2 is up to 108 and slowly rising with each new table that ZenStudios releases.

I can't really think of one. The risk of adding extra Trophies can be laziness of the developer who just adds some easy ones. I would rather see some extra to encourage me to get more out of the same game.

I would have to say akiba's trip could have had 100  trophies for that game made you do nearly everything in the game, just wish there could of been some dlc.

-Reason it should have trophies (this is an extra from the topic): who wouldn't want one of the best rpgs and games of all time platted? Almost 0% if we're talking about the people who like it (and no, i'm not being a fanboy here).

 

-Why should it have more then 100: there's a lot to do if you want to 100% the game (including secrets, ultimate weapons, etc.), even more so if were talking about DS version. Still, I would prefer most of the 'extra' trophies (from no.60 onwards, hypothetically speaking) to be simple and definitely not "overly-grindy", with some challenging ones added.

I could got for skate 2 and 3 having over 100 trophies. Certainly was not challenging enough or at times I felt like there's more challenges that could have easily been added.

Zen pinball 2 has 108 trophies and soon to be more! I'm pretty happy with that and hope to maintain my 100% on that game

I think Red Dead Redemption has somewhere in the region of 90 or so trophies (?), so another dozen or so wouldn't have hurt.  Maybe another DLC campaign, or an expansion upon the Undead Nightmare?
