Kyl542
Well if i had to mention it probable wouldn't be about the games that i hate because before i spend money on a game a see a slight gameplay/walkthough to see if i like it...but if i had to mention the most tedious and annoying trophy games it would be: Kingdom hearts Birth By Sleep - Seriously doing a 100% completetion on each story mode was very and very repetitive. I really hated BBS minigames especially the command boards, god i hated those. Plus i didn't start the game on competitor mode so i had to redo ALL 3 story modes, basically i had to do 6 BLOODY playthrough Kingdom hearts Re:Chain of memories - This didn't have any hard trophies, but unfortunatly difficulty trophies did not stack so i had to do another 6 BLOODY playthrough and this game was the worst imo, too repetitive. Tekyumeeee
Mercenary Kings. I just wanted all of those ultra rare trophies, to be perfectly honest.
slash
It's not the worst game out there but I begrudgingly forced myself to platinum Assassin's Creed Unity before selling it. I personally felt insulted by that game by its buggy state, stupid story, and the microtransactions. However, I got it as a gift so I felt bad about selling it, but I figured I could get the most I possibly could have out of it before doing so. Most games I don't enjoy I don't bother going for the platinum, like Knack.

SnowxSakura
Walking Dead Survival Instinct: The game was fun for about 30 minutes and then it just got incredibly boring and having to play through it twice to get all of the routes was a chore LA Noire: Was my second time playing it and knowing everything already made it a boring run, plus getting all of the cars was extremely frustrating Chronicles of Riddick: MP not having voice chat drove me crazy, love the single player though Alpha Protocol: I had to play through this 4 times to get some of the buggy trophies, that game is only fun once and that's it Knights Contract: F those quick time events from hades itself Neverdead: The MP sucked and the harder difficulties made me want to throw my controller out the window Prototype 2: You play as a stereotypical cursing character, the story was awful, the controls were pretty bad, and overall it was nowhere near as good as the first game Destiny: Boring. Defiance: I love the game but it's just so bad, the servers barely work, a lot of the trophies are glitched, and the MP is way unbalanced
DrasticAutomatic
It's a toss up between Assassin's Creed III & Assassin's Creed Unity. I guess it's safe to say I won't be getting Assassin's Creed Syndicate. I was really excited for Assassin's Creed Syndicate because its set in my city, but that combat system looks horrendous. sp483
Transistor. Luckily it's short and you only have to play it twice. Have no idea why it's a highly regarded game. Boring and pretentious, imo.
Jay
I was really excited for Assassin's Creed Syndicate because its set in my city, but that combat system looks horrendous. The setting is interesting I will admit I was intrigued at 1st, they should have stuck with the "Victory" name for the Victorian era, but the setting won't save the game from being terrible.
MMDE
I don't know if there's a "worst" one... I mean I've plat games like Ride to Hell: Retribution, Magus, Brink, Disney Universe, Terminator Salvation, Happy Feet Two, Bakugan Battle Brawlers, Motionsports Adrenaline, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1 etc etc. Which turd reeks the most? :\ Edited August 11, 2015 by MMDE
MagicSandwych
Neverdead. It had a weird trainwreck kinda charm, and despite being terrible, had some entertainment value to it. I revisited it on a whim and at the same time saw a couple guys trying to boost it. After 2 playthroughs and mp, I still had to kill the first boss another 200 times for the last upgrade. Ugggg! I think Arkham Origins would also qualify, that mp was an absolute pain.

KhajiitWerewolf
There are two I can think of at the moment: Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution. I love the Naruto franchise but I should have learned my lesson from Generations- I don't much care for the games without a story. I disliked the new fighting mechanics in Revolution and it felt like a major grind. My dislike was ulintensified because I forced myself to complete it in under 7 days since gamestop had a return policy on used games where you could get all your money back for any reason within that timeframe- even if you just didn't like it. The other game that comes to mind is Xblaze Code Embryo. My sole reason for buying this is that I love visual novels. I am not familiar with the BlazBlue series (or whatever it's based off of). The trophies were annoying and required you to interrupt the game, the characters were shallow and cliched, the writing was poor, the story was bland and unexciting, the villain's motivation was vague and the ending felt like a letdown. I actually had much more fun playing through the spoofed "pursuit of curry ingredients" mini story contained within the game over the actual main visual novel. I bought that day one and it was painful to sell it back for practically nothing.

Smoosher_
Destiny: This game was alright but more so the RNG in this game really started to take a toll with my experience, and also maxing out one skill tree for all 3 jobs just got REALLY BORING!Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn: I mean I love this game to death but trying to get the platinum was a real life chore itself since all the trophies were about 2-10 hour grinds and one trophy take a minimum of 6 MONTHS to get, so ya, that about $70 of membership fees to get the platinum for this game. Would not recommend if you are just looking for a platinum, but would if you want a great MMO

Popular Post Dr_Mayus
Here is my review for Fairy Tale Fights So almost 4 years ago to the day (I miss the 4 year mark by 2 days ) I earned my first trophy for this game. I saw it on Kijiji for 5$ and looked at the trailer and it looked like a clever little beat 'em up so I decided "what the hell" and picked it up. I beat it for the first time in a couple of days and then decided to wait 2 years to play it again and then waited another 2 years to finish it Why did I finish it? Because I don't let crappy games beat me . Now let me tell you a Tale of horror This game is bad, in fact I would go so far as to say this is the worst game I have ever played (at least the worst game on PS3). It has beat out Tony Hawk Ride, Kung Fu Panda 2 and We Dare. Simply put it is BORING, it is repetitive, the trophies are stupid, it is repetitive, the controls are broken and it is repetitive. Allow me to go through the trophies in detail as to fully explain why this game just SUCKS. Difficulty doesn't stack and Awful controls Did I mention this game is repetitive So this game is probably the most bland game I have ever played. There is only one attack and that is done by pressing the Right Stick in any dirrection. There is no dodge or block button so on the harder difficulties you just get bum-rushed by enemies and have no way of defending yourself. There was a particular spot where there was a river you had to jump, on the other side of the river were two archers who just kept shooting you (there is no reload time) and every time they hit you you would fall in the river. The only way to get past was if you still had a weapon you could try throwing it or to jump far enough that you respawn on the other side. Another spot where there would be 6-8 knights all rushing you with archers in hard to reach spots taking pot-shots at you. All that would happen is you would die and hope that your respawn would stun enemies long enough to get a couple of shots on them (there is no recovery time either so once you get hit you get stuck in a damage loop). The game also plays like you are on a skating rink. It is very hard to walk normally so you end up missing gold and jewels you were trying to pick up or you perform a jump and just slide right off the platform you are standing on. Attacking launches you forward so if you are not careful you will be attacking an enemy and go flying off a cliff or stop attacking him because you have gone to the side and are now attacking a wall. So all of that sucks but even if you beat it on Hard you still have to beat it on Easy and Medium...but then you have to also beat it on Easy/Medium/Hard in Co-Op as well. That is 6 playthroughs of this boring game. Also for Co-OP you can play by yourself and just add the second player in at the end so it really just makes you play through each difficulty twice for no reason. Statue Upgrades Fine you have to play through 6 times but at least that will help work towards earning enough money to build the statue...except it doesn't. One I had beat the game 6 times I still had to grind out over 3 million in gold. The best level you can do is Chapter 9 which takes 15 minutes to beat and that only gives you 300,000 gold. So you need to grind that level 10-12 times to earn enough to buy the stupid statue Arena Battles Believe it or not but this game has multiplayer...you need to do 100 arena battles to get the trophy. 100 matches is a lot in good games, now imagine doing that in a piece of shit game . Luckily this is offline multiplayer so it can be boosted quickly with a second controller but that just makes it even more pointless. I've always said make your requirements for multiplayer low. If people like it they will keep playing it and if people don't like it then they aren't pissed off. Pointless Trophies Slide around in blood for 3 minutes (mess up at all and have to start over), Stand still for 15 minutes in the hub world, Randomly receive a trophy from a random wishing well, Drink 1000 potions (this took more than my 6 playthroughs as well) and so many more. Collectables + Checklists So you have to also use one of every weapon (161 in the game), open all chests (close to 400) and get an A in all levels. The thing is you have NO IDEA which ones you have done because it doesn't keep track. It also doesn't keep track which levels you have beaten on what difficulty. The fun thing as well is, if you know it is Chapter 10 you missed a chest on you have to collect every chest again in that level and not just the one you missed. There is also one chest/weapon you have to die in a specific spot to respawn in another part of the world. How you were supposed to figure that out is beyond me. I could keep going with how crap this game is but I am done. I am done playing crappy games for awhile and am glad that this game is finally out of my backlog. STAY AWAY FROM THIS GAME

audiopile
A third vote for Protoype 2. I will add that Saints Row Gat Out Of Hell is pretty crap (but I will finish it), a shame because I enjoyed Re-Elected quite a bit. Walking Dead S1 was also junk but I got it for free so I can't complain too much. IF I ever finish Sound Shapes I will also put that on this list.
