My fat PS3 died on me because of the YLOD, that and it was pretty old to begin with since I bought it used back in 2013. And technically my original DS top screen isn't showing any picture, but it's still shows the bottom screen. So I may not play any of my DS games again, but I can still play some GBA games.

I currently have 5 consoles:

- GameBoy Advance SP

- Nintendo DSi XL

- PlayStation 2

- Playstation 3

I have two PS3s hooked up, one on my bedroom's TV and one of my living room's TV that is accompanied by my PS2.

Only two consoles have ever broken down on me: First was my PSP Slim, which was actually broken because of my brother (who takes no good care of anything). The other was my living room's PS3 Slim, it just stopped reading disks.

I find this is the case with most people, and hence why I hate lending stuff (especially since I really like stuff in perfect condition). Even in the few cases where I actually borrow stuff, I treat things better than the owners themselves.

 

My bother learned how to treat stuff better over the years, but still, I always feel a bit anxious.

• I have had 5 PS3s break on me with YLOD. It has been the most unreliable system I've ever owned. My 360 has never had issues. I see this as a statistical anomaly though.
