Dragon-Archon
Drifters Synopsis Quote Toyohisa Shimazu is a fierce samurai who, in the aftermath of a fight with the Tokugawa regiment, suddenly finds himself in a strange corridor far from the bloodied grasslands of the battlefield. Before he can ask any questions, the shocked fighter finds himself sucked through a door in the wall and promptly lands in an unfamiliar place populated by kindly elves. There he meets with two infamous warriors, Oda Nobunaga and Nasu no Yoichi, who have met the same fate as him. However, not all is well in this new world as the brutal Black King aims to destroy everything. Now, with a battle raging between the fiercest warriors from throughout history, could this trio of Japanese Samurai be the only ray of hope in a land threatened by darkness? This anime has some excessive violence once in a while that I felt could be toned down. The story is good and there are some interesting and funny characters. Nobunaga is a great character with him scheming things all the time and being found out by Toyohisa. I liked how Toyohisa mentioned that he's finding it difficult to determine the gender of certain characters. For a long time I thought Yoichi was a female . I'm looking forward to season 2. 7 hours ago, JaM said: Occultic;Nine The characters are somehow below ok for me... The story is the only thing tbh that makes me watch this one... I thought that psychic agent was a good character, but the rest was indeed pretty meh, except for Ryoka who was so annoying. Dragon-Archon
Shuumatsu no Izetta Synopsis Quote The time is pre World War II that looks like Europe in an imaginary world. A large scale war abrupts and bloody battles are taking place through out the world. Eylstadt is a small country without a strong military force or natural resources. Finé who is the crown queen of Eylstadt decides to use a secret weapon against larger countries which was unheard of at that time to battle against larger countries. The secret weapon was using a witch named Izetta and her magical force to fight the war. Izetta is young (same age as Finé) and the last surviving witch with burning red hair. I'm glad that this anime didn't turn out to be serious and gloomy all the time and liked the funny moments with Bianca and Finé. That ending was unexpected, I thought for sure that Izetta would die .

Neputyunu
KODOMO NO JIKAN A very very touching love story, that really triggered my empathy... and I can somehow relate... //////////// CONTAINS HEAVY SPOILERS! /////////////// The show is mostly about the 3rd grader Rin Kokonoe (She's a 4th grader in the OVAs), her two friends Kuro Kagami and Mimi Usa, and their teacher, Aoki Daisuke (23). Rin is living in a... not normal situation. Her father was alcoholic and died in a car accident, while her mother died because of cancer before she was even at the 1st grade. And because things can't be worse enough, Rin was even with her at that moment... She's living with her cousin, Reiji, who also had a love story with her mother, Aki. Reiji is an adult child. He had a very sad past, was left all alone, lacks in social experiences... Basicly, Rin gave him a reason to live, and she was just like 5 as she did it. A simple hug can move emotional mountains... With a bit of empathy, the real world could be so nice... However, he doesn't like Aoki and thinks he's just an usual "grown up", and pervert. He's so overprotective over Rin, that he decided somewhen to simply lock her into her room. Aoki on the other hand was a newbie teacher and this was his first class. At first Rin tried to sexual blackmail him and to bully him out of school, because the previous teacher was very mean to Mimi and she left school. But Aoki dealt with that and even went at Mimi's house to talk with her, and he's believing her version of the story. Because of that, Rin, who is hating "grown ups", began to trust Aoki and because he is a really supernice and caring guy, she even started to love him. She tried multiple times to make him do something sexual to her, because she really wanted to be with him, being his wife. The only thing that successfully happened was a kiss on the lips. ...What an akward moment, when you get a surprise kiss from a 8 year old girl, and it's also your first kiss ever... Not sure if "...wow " or "wow! ". Kuro is calling him Virgin all over the show... ha... But probably she's just jelly, because she has a crush on Rin. However, Aoki, who got over the show some penalities (for example he got punched by Reiji, or a lession from a senior teacher about "sexual harassment"... because Rin was hugging him, in public) never did anything wrong, and actually he was just like a father for Rin, because he does know she doesn't have parents... And Reiji was very busy... ...He was caring about her that much. That was so... cute... I guess, Rin just wanted an adult that was caring about her, but, she felt in love with him for real... and Aoki was perfect, because he's really social. Nothing wrong with that show! All in all, this picture sums it up pretty good:

Neputyunu
1 hour ago, Satoshi Ookami said: Did we watch the same anime? xDDD Or maybe I'm actually affected by manga... that could be it. Or I'm watching anime not for the ecchi... Like, seriously. I'm watching anime for the story, the characters, the atmosphere, setting, soundtrack, ...everything. Not for drawn oversized bewbs or anything like that. For example, the first half of the Hyperdimension Neptunia anime is imo pure shit, because they used too much ecchi. (...And Vert is so damn "ugly"), and that's one of the reason why I'm not telling (anymore) that I liked it. Because people would get the wrong picture about me. (Well, guess it's too late anyway.) I saw in Kodomo no Jikan an anime about a seriously lonely girl (that also wanted to protect her friends), an overprotective slightly mentaly ill cousin that promised to protect Rin and took that to literally, and a very social teacher that actually gives a fuck about other people and wants to understand them... Seriously, I just blocked yesterday someone on PSN because he was annoying me for months... ALWAYS talking about traps, and ecchi or H content in PS4 groups or that he's afraid of Sony banning him for collecting all that pics, and ecchi here, ecchi there, ohh look he found H content again!... blah blah blah... Like ALL that anime/manga/J-game stuff would be purely about porn... Or as I said I'm watching Kodomo no Jikan currently he said he never watched it because it would be too ecchi for America and probably he couldn't buy it there, but he would recommend me something different, because that other show, he also never watched, would be better... I said then that there is no "better", because it depends on how and for what you are rating stuff. And that Kodomo no Jikan is triggering my empathy and I can relate... I understand Rin, and Reiji...I realy do, by my heart... And everytime I tried to make someone liking me (in a not sexual way of course) they hated me instead... female teachers for being "pre mature", male teachers for "gaying around"... Always that loneliness and rejection... All I wanted was someone, as kid an adult, who does care about me... Because nobody ever did... It would feel wrong by common sense to call this show "good" or something else "better", because it contains, as said, people with issues. Is it good, when people have issues? And he was then just babling about ecchi. The other show would be better because there would be way more ecchi, he heard... FUCK OFF! God damnit. EVERY FUCKING TIME he's writing me it's just about ecchi, H content, his trap H manga, etc etc... (And he's writing way, way, WAY more and more frequent than I'm writing you! And still, you're putting yourself to busy after two messages a month or something... Onii-chan is a baka meanie! *feels lonely and rejected*) As I asked him if he's watching anime just for the ecchi, and if he's ten years old (that was a rhetoric quesion, I know he's 38... dafuq!) he said that he isn't technically watching anime, because he's specifically looking for the ecchi and H stuff. He also got instant defensive about that it is his stuff and I don't need to care about it... Such a creep... I hate people that watch, or "technically not watch", anime just for the ecchi... Because people like him the whole world is hating us and believes we would be just some bunch of perverts who see women as an object for sexual things or whatever... Most of them even believe anime would be purely about raping women and school girls... That's so laaame!
Dragon-Archon
Lostorage Incited WIXOSS Synopsis: Quote High school student Homura Suzuko has returned to Ikebukuro, the town where she grew up. But when she gets to school, she finds she has trouble fitting in with the rest of the class. One day, she decides that if she learns to play the card game Wixoss, she might be able to make some friends. She buys a deck set, and when she opens it, the girl on one of the cards begins to move, and speak. "Welcome, Selector." Selectors must battle for control of the five coins that hold all their memories. If they can retake all the coins, they win, and can leave the game. But if they lose, as a penalty they cease to exist. This was the first Wixoss anime I saw and it was pretty good. The story was interesting and had some unexpected twists here and there. AFAIK it's not necessary to watch the previous ones as I could understand everything that happened. The last episode teased a new Wixoss anime. 19 hours ago, Dav9834 said: Guess it's time to hold up my end of the bargain with @Dragon-Archon to watch Fairytale Season 1 if he watches all of K-ON!
