What are your favourite single player experiences, this gen?

I actually haven't had an extended amount of time playing single-player on the PS4 yet, by favorites so far:

1. Ratchet and Clank 2016

2. inFAMOUS: Second Son

3. WipEout Omega Collection

4. Grand Theft Auto V

I´m not that long in console gaming or gaming in general (2 years on playstation) and until now I have not played so many big games, but here is my list.

 

1. Persona 5

2. God of War

3. The Last of us

4. Horizon Zero Dawn

5. Uncharted Series (3,4, lost legacy)

6. Last Guardian

7. Bloodborne

8. Witcher 3

9. Gravity Rush 1 & 2

10. ALL the LEGO Games ^^

 

I try to play as much genres as possible and there are a lot of indie games that are also very good.

If The Last of Us Remastered is considered current gen then it's definitely my #1 pick if not then

God of War

Batman : Arkham Knight

Life is Strange

The Witcher 3

Firewatch

 

 

Worth mentioning :

Titanfall 2 (short but really fun campaign that really surprised me, had a lot of fun)

Horizon Zero Dawn : Great gameplay, really fun to play but felt like there was something missing. Still a realy good game and a must play for PS4 owners.

These are the single player games that make me think purchasing my PS4 was worth it, there are others, but especially these five. Honourable mentions to Oxenfree and Transistor, I've actually really enjoyed some of these smaller downloadable single player games this gen.

Wow feel weird to see Ryse Son of Rome so high on your list, sure it's ahead of most of your unfinished game but still.

I imagine it would be pretty high on the list regardless.  Great graphics, solid story, underappreciated setting, visceral combat.  The only wrinkles against it is that it's a little on the short side and the combat isn't very deep, but for what it was, solid all the way around IMO.  I enjoyed it a lot.

 

EDIT: Most of the unfinished games have a solid amount of time in them, either on the Playstation or elsewhere (where applicable).  As much as people love games like The Witcher III, Persona 5 and Bloodborne... I have some problems that dropped them, and they'll probably stay lower even when I do finish them.

This is just the first five that came to mind. There are tons of great single player experiences out there. We are definitely not hurting for choices.
