Yes, you can start it right after booting up the game for the fist time and depending on the boss, you could be done within 3 hours altogether. I suggest you practice a bit with Raiden combo move for the 1000 hits on an alt account or something. I messed up as I was a deer in the headlight trying to pull it off. Yeah, I have 100% the game before, just making sure it will be safe for 100% trophies if a new invasion pops up, which I'm not optimistic about now. As i mentioned earlier, I just started playing a few days, so I got lucky with the timing, So this puts me on a position to shed light on the sequence of events, as I was playing most of the day on and off, because of the hourly towers. I got my first trophy of october 11th around 1AM, before going to bed, there was no invasion then. I got several trophies on october 11th during the day, from 11am onwards. I played once an hour for the Kombat modifiers rewarded by the hourly towers. The last hourly I played was around just before 6PM. I am not absolutely positive Invasion was not on then, but I am almost sure. I checked the PSNProfiles trophies after dinner, and saw new activity on forum, diszegi_mrk warning people invasion was on, that was around 8 PM, his post was just after 6 PM. I started playing again around 10 PM (Can't Stop This timestamp 10:06 PM), and it was around 4 hours left on the event. Last trophy I got was 30 min before end of event ( DIE WILL YOU timestamp Oct 12th 1:41 AM)TLDR: from my anedoctal experience, invasion event seemed to be on from 6PM to 2AM (GMT -3), only 8 hours. Could it be that event was going on longer and I didn't notice? Yes, maybe a couple of hours longer, but not terribly likely... Was it on for 24 hours? Definetely not, because I checked the menu several times throughout the day. PS.: As a warning + tips for people that will try the next event, it was brutal, but here are a few observations: I mostly used the Raiden's combo , , (hold), (hold) and X-Ray method. After 1 hour, I thought it would pop any minute, and started recording damage, to report back here. My average was around 19 per try, many attemps i would get just 1 or 2 damage in, some I would get more than 50, and can corroborate that damage has no correlation to hits. If you don't manage to hit after armor is gone, it is just a waste of time, it seems. Took me around 3 hours worth of attemps, my best guess would be around 130 retries. I’m guessing they turned it back on due to the 30th anniversary of the MK series. I had even checked around the weekend for any news since they posted a clip about the anniversary on social media. I’m just hoping it does reappear anytime this week or on the following days and not just a one time event. The timing of this invasion was unexpected. It's once a week this happens. I'm surprised it seems to be working again after 8 months of no invasion events. Last one was early March this year and just happened on Oct 11 recently. If you are still trying to get the invasions done be sure to check everyday. I've also stated this before in last post. Form a group on discord or ps app and alert each other when the invasion event does pop up so at least you will have a chance of knowing if it does pop up again. Also if the invasions are back I'm sure there will have more opportunities the next few weeks/months but be sure to check everyday. Its happened before when there was no invasions for a few months and then it shows up again. The events are limited time for 24 hours once a week if it does show up and working but when not working for months it can be sporadic so stay alert! This similar trick worked on Ghost Recon Future Soldier (RIP) by changing your date to when there was a double xp weekend back in 2012. F_G3oX Posted October 14, 2022 Share Posted October 14, 2022 Someone pointed out that the premier tower reseted on tuesday, which is odd cause it usually resets on saturday, so maybe they updated the game on tuesday and it started a random invasion right before it should have ended.
