Popular Post igs63
Weekly Update #2! No platinums this week. I did hope to be able to report a plat on Guardians of the Galaxy (which is why I delayed my update by a day) but alas I did not have enough time to get that last episode in. No matter, as it will certainly be done for my next update. Otherwise I have been a little bit distracted by other games this week, I played Stranded Sails up to 20% trophy wise, although I think I am getting close to the end of the story. After that it will just be some clean up of different builds and collectibles, and levelling up my crew's happiness more or less. I've been really enjoying it, I love how 'alive' the crew feels. While I'm off adventuring the camp slowly changes, paths are built and their houses get decorated, there'll be more fires, chairs and tables, and lines with clothes hung up to dry. I mean they also start building stuff on their own and just asking for my help with small parts of it! It just feels like they're so real, actually doing things. It's cool, haha. In terms of non-event stuff, I've tried out Goat Simulator after hearing so much about flappy goat, and since it was free on plus. As well as that I have been boosting MP and finishing off the SP on some of the old Assassin's Creed games; Revelations, 3, 4. I'm trying to finish them off mainly because we're looking at ps3 servers being even more at risk with the PS5 on the horizon (at least I fear that may be the case). I also like to think it counts towards my overall progress for the event anyways as I did want to finish off a lot of the unfinished AC games on my profile before I launched into Odyssey, my A game. Here's my overall current progress on the list: Assassin’s Creed Odyssey PS4 - 0%Batman (Telltale) PS4 - 0%Cyberpunk 2077 PS4 - 0%Deus Ex: Human Revolution PS3 - 0%Erica PS4 - 100% Fallout 3 PS3 - 0%Guardians of the Galaxy PS4 - >80%How to Train Your Dragon PS3 - 0%Infamous PS3 - 0%Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy PS4 - 0%Kingdom Hearts PS4 - 0%Late Shift PS4 - 100% Minecraft: Story Mode PS4 - 0%NieR Automata PS4 - 0%Oxenfree PS4 - 0%Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight PS4 - 0%Q.U.B.E 2 PS4 - 0%Republique PS4 - 0%Stranded Sails: Explorers of the Cursed Islands PS4 - >20%Trüberbrook PS4 - 0%Unravel PS4 - 0%Vampyr PS4 - 0%Wonderbook: Diggs Nightcrawler PS3 - 0%XCOM 2 PS4 - 0%Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles PS4 - 0%Zero Escape: The Nonary Games VITA - 0% Until next week!
brejdak93
Another platinum, another update. This time Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception, really cool Visual novel combined with tactical missions (something like XCom). Still story didn't catch me and after about 3 hours of leaving I gave up and skipped story until the fights. This made a plat much faster. Witcher 3 is still in progress, about 50 hours in already and just done with Gwent cards, the rest is piece of cake. Han_the_Dragon
Weekly update: As I was suspecting last weekend, this time I didn't get any new plats, or games completed. Said that, I'm close to finish MHA, so, next weekend, I will at least clear the M. Other than that, I didn't played much for this event (trying to finish Guilty Gear Xrd SIGN, get FF8 plat ready, returned to Rainbow Skies to clean up, and watched EVO Japan..).

Popular Post scarishbal
Games Completed The Amazing Spider-man (VITA) - I love Spider-man games because of the web slinging. It was amazing being able to swing around fancy free. I never watched the movie so I really didn't know how the game and the movie tie together but that really didn't matter. I did like the story and overall gameplay but it did get frustrating at some parts playing on the highest difficulty. As a person who likes collectibles - getting the 700 comic book pages was a little rough. It was fun swinging around and web slinging to the pages but it was a grind to get it down until the pages showed up on the map. Then it only showed up in proximity to you. LEGO DC Super-Villians (PS4) - Strangely enough this game made me nostalgic for the first Lego Batman game for the DS. The simple sets, no voice acting, and disappearing studs when there were too many on screen. It's crazy how far the LEGO games have come. I wasn't too fond of the story but ,at least, I thought it was neat. The free play world was fun to run around as all the major cities (Gotham and Metropolis) and noteworthy buildings (ACE and Arkham) were all on the same map and you can seamlessly visit each location. Plus there is Captain Clown which is always a win. Life is Strange : Before the Storm (PS4) - I really didn't know what to expect with this game as I found the first game to be a little cringe at certain points. But I was pleasantly surprised at the story. It built up the characters and made them seem real and the struggles they faced before the events of the first game. Oddly it was nice seeing Joyce and David interact without Chloe driving a wedge into the relationship. It also seems like there was a new voice actor for Chloe in the second game which also may have an effect on why I like this game. But towards the last episode, the game hit a little too close to home and made it a little difficult to play on and especially watch the end. Drowning (PS4) - A simple walking sim about depression. You walk along a linear path as text appears in front of you. It runs smoothly as you can read everything without stopping. There are multiple endings depending how you choose to deal with depression. The part I liked most about it was once to starting going down a path at the end the dialogue switch from the player talking to themselves to a conversation between the player and the depression. It was pretty powerful where you have the two voices pleading with each other during the darkest ending. The Council (PS4) - This game was a blast. It was fun having to do skill checks for dialogue options and having to keep an eye open to pick stuff up from the environment. Plus there are other things to do during the episodes besides the main quest objectives. So it's not as passive as TellTale. The character designs were very nice and everything seemed to belong with the time period. I did like Louie but I think my favorite character design was Holm. Some plot points you could see coming but they didn't appear where I thought they would and there was usually a twist with it. I would highly recommend it. Works in Progress - I tried playing AC Chronicles but I just hate the game. I haven't played past China so I'm not sure if its just that part I don't like or the whole gameplay change. I'm trying to make space on my PS3 but I decided to play Beyond Good and Evil, its been on my system for 2 years, to make room but now I'm stuck on that. On the PS4, I started Darksiders and I'm currently at the Straga bossfight. I also played Queen's Quest but I didn't realize I used a hint and have to replay the game. DreamingSnoozles
Update Week 4 My first weekly update. I know I just started but I wanted to get going as I have finished my list. Regarding the list, I have noticed that I already had one trophy of 198X, so I have swapped it out with one of my back up title: Battle Chasers: Nightwar. I have started my journey with on the past weekend with Crash Bandicoot. I was super excited to get my hands on nice jump-and run and I was not disappointed. It took sometime to get all the jump timings right, since I never played a crash game but I'm getting better now. I got through a fair few levels and made it to 6% completion. I look forward to more time with the sassy bandicoot. The second game I started was Spider-Man. And oh my god it is so much fun just moving through the city. and the combat feels nicely dynamic and flowing without robing you of a feeling of having control about what you are doing. I'm doing a somewhat casual playthrough on normal at the moment without looking anything up in particular and just playing as I naturally play, which is what I always tend to do when I play a game the first time. For me that does mean thoroughly exploring the word and doing all activities and side missions, but not necessarily with an eye on trophies. I will have a look at what trophies are left after and then play for them more directly. I so far got up 10% and am super excited to continue. iXanon
F1 2017 is taking much longer to finish up than I anticipated, so I have still yet to make a solid start on my list.. Oops! ? 10 hours ago, piualan90 said: Finally starting this one, also decide to change my R to Rocksmith, since I dont have much time to play music or games anymore, I can do both, so yeah. Sorry, as it was not declared as a backup - you can't since you've declared a list past the event start date. Please revert back to Ratchet & Clank (PS4).
freddie1989
Finished the story on God of War. Truly a great game from start to finish, the story is excellent, the combat is superb and an awesome final boss battle to finish it all off. Easily one of the best games of any generation.
FFHannibal
Still distracted by MHW, so haven't made a lot of progress. I did finish Infamous and I started Infamous 2, but I already felt burned out after those 2 playthroughs so I don't know if I'll manage to play and finish it just yet. I might just get the online trophies out of the way and switch over to something else. The same will probably happen with Fallout, cause I intend to finish 3 before I start New Vegas. I hope to finish up Papers, Please this week and I might look into doing a few of the shorter games I have on my list. Letters finished: H, T
Kristycism
Almost-the-end-of-the-month update: I've barely made any progress since the first week! >_< The only game I've completed remains as Atari Flashback Classics Vol. 1. I have, however, started Hitman and made some decent progress (got the trophies for the prologue episode, which is the base game trophies, and two more episodes (out of 6), along with one of the three bonus episodes). And I've got the online trophies done for Batman: Arkham Origins at least so I don't need to worry about those - haven't done much in the main game so far though. But I'll get to it. I've mainly been using this month to try and clear the remainder of the games I had left from 2019, though I've still got more to do on that. But I don't like starting too many new games when older ones are still incomplete, so they've been getting my priority. And because my next plat is a milestone, I had been waiting for Mercenaries Wings to arrive from LRG so that I could use that as the milestone plat - it's here now and I'm working on it, though I've still got a ways to go. Once that's out the way, I can plat games more freely, so I'll hopefully make better progress from next month, and try and clear some of the quicker games on my list so I feel as though I've made some progress...
Popular Post GraniteSnake
Third game survived! Got the platinum for this a while back, but I needed to run through the first game again on hard difficulty in order to pick up the final trophy. Aside from the overabundance of collectables, this was an enjoyable collection of games, with 'The Dark Descent' being my favourite one. The game was pretty daunting at first, especially with headphones on, but became a lot less scary once I realised that dying had next to no ramifications. Most of the time it made the enemies despawn, taking away most of the fear factor the game instilled in me from the offset. There is an amazing platinum video guide on YouTube that is especially useful if you're having trouble with the games many puzzles - I definitely would not have made it through the three games without it! I've already started and made a bit of progress in my next game, Killzone: Shadow Fall. It's been an okay experience, a little boring for a FPS though. Too much downtime, not enough action. Hard difficulty hasn't been too difficult, with the only spike coming at the end of chapter 7. I still need to buy the season pass, so I mightn't bother with the multiplayer until I pick it up.

I believe you can't do normal searching anymore. You have to open/be invited to a custom game, I believe. It means the only way to do it is with a pre-established group, but those trophies are specific enough that I don't see any other way to do it anyway.

I don't think that it degraded further, but when I boosted, it would randomly stop working (people getting connection errors), and when that happened, we would simply gave up for the day (the first time we continued to try for a while, a few were able to play, others weren't). All this cases happened during EXP boost, the main boost (Predator, and thr the other trophies that require 4+ players), we more smooth on where connection is concerned.

Usually the second attempt would connect for all of us, but sometimes it took more. It does connect eventually though. But sometimes during a boosting session we’d all get kicked and would struggle to reconnect, so we’d just end the session for that day. As for times, we were all in the UK, but we didn’t have a set boosting time, it was mostly a “when we’re all free” kind of thing. But it was always between 10am - 10pm UTC, and we’d suffer less connection issues when we connected early-midday than later on. All in all, it’s still possible to do the online, but it’s a pain. So if you go for it, make sure you find reliable boosting partners who aren’t going to be annoyed by the constant connection issues and decide to just give up and drop it. The trophies themselves aren’t bad if you can put up with the connection errors, though.
