JoeTootell
On a peruvian bus i decided when i get back from england i should purchase plus.
allenbird
I don't really remember when exactly I got it. The reason I decided to get it was because my PS3 had just YLOD on me and I lost alot of save files for a bunch of games I hadn't finished. PS+ gave me the ability to save my files online therefore if YLOD happens again or my PS3 blows up or something, I will be secure knowing I can continue games from where I had previously left off. blkburn123
I decided to get it after sony gave us a free trial after the psn hack in 2011. I loved it and have had it ever since.
Technatorium
Back when I got my PS3 in December of 2011 and never looked back
Yir-Ca
Summer 2012 - I just wanted something new to play and PS+ had some great games that month. I subbed for 3 months only. Later on I did not have time to play games at all so I just cancelled it. Then, earlier this year I got back to gaming and immediately subscribed for 15 months, PS+ has some great deals that I just can't ignore.
Wavergray
The week after the IGC was announced in 2012. Because 4-5 new games a month for $50 a year is one of the best deals I had ever heard of. Edited August 16, 2013 by soultaker655
zadorvp
When: Launch Day Why: I'm bad with money. It ended up being a great use of my money though once IGC and cloud storage kicked in
drummerklg
I still haven't. The games that they offer I either already played months before hand, or I just simply have no interest in at all. I can see why people get it, it's just not worth it to me.
BigPete7978
I've been a member of PS Plus since it began back in 2010. It's a great service IMO that offers tons of free games for a small yearly fee. You also have the great sales that come with it as well. Definitely worth it for any PlayStation gamer. xzero4812
got it for the welcome back program as most people on this topic will say but the fact i was getting free sega classic games and ps1 titles at the time it blew my stupid mind at the time and decided to stick with it, and it just got better from there Edited August 16, 2013 by xzero4812
Brawler
Shortly after signing up a month or two ago I got plus. Deals, freebies and the fact that you can set up the automatic updates were big sellers for me. The cloud saves also come in handy if something were ever to happen to your console. Wdjat Prinny Doods
I got it when I bought my ps3 June 2012. I bought because of the free games but I didn't know about the great discounts and the cloud service. I haven't regretted my decision since. dontrustme_
In the beginning of 2012. Got it mainly because it has good free games and cloud storage.
GilgaMax305
To save money! What I'm really suppose to say is this..."Free games, free games... oh wow free games, oh look MORE free games! DAMN they just keep showering me with free games! Oooooo I wonder what's free next month?" This is what I'm like every month now lol Edited August 25, 2013 by DEVILKIDGAME15
DEMON
I signed up whenever I could get the year membership for £29.. and I don't know why I didn't do this sooner! Great service!

VenlafaxineHead
I remember purchasing it for 3-months back when "Stacking" came out in the PSN store. It was $9.99 to purchase or I could get PS+ for $9.99 and Stacking for free. It was a no-brainer, and I've been a member ever since. Awesome service, tremendous deals! NashXXIII
I got it just over a month ago because I know it's needed to play online on the PS4 plus the quality in games that it comes with has really improved since it started.
SirTrigalot
I got mine the day it came out mainly due to the cloud saves for copyprotected saves (lost a lot due to YLOD) as well as automated updates and free games
CactusFantastic
For me I bought it because the year subscription card was on sale for like $30...but now I'll always have it because of the instant game collection, regardless of the price. Aexuz
Like 2 years ago and it was because of the cloud save. My old PS3 was dying and I was getting close to the SO4 platinum so I was afraid of losing all my progress.
MacJunegrand
Can't remember the date, but it was when the PSN started to offer complete game bundles. They were cheaper for Plus, and there were some good free games offered at the time (such as inFamous 2) so I decided to try the service and never looked back.
