Popular Post Platinum_Vice
End of April update: Two more campaigns completed for me: Last game acquired: Driver: San Francisco. This game is pretty good! The actual story is a bit middling and the dialogue is a bit cliche but it's still very fun. The driving mechanics are really good (might be the best arcade-y driving game that I've played from the PS3 era) which I think makes up for the awkward storytelling. My time with the game has been in three parts: 1) beating the story campaign, 2) hunting collectibles and cleaning up side quests and driving feats (the most enjoyable part of D:SF in my opinion, which is in itself a rare thing to say about side-content), and 3) an online grind. I'm still doing the online grind (about 60-70% through it) and it's a bit of a lengthy process but I'm still enjoying it. Oldest game in your backlog: a port of a 2002 PS2 game- Medal of Honor: Frontline. [2002! beat that!] I've enjoyed this game WAY more than I should because the controls are terrible. I played it when it first came out in 2002 so it's really been a great trip down memory lane. I doubt that many people who haven't played shooters from that time would enjoy it based purely on the lack of aim assist and other quality of life changes that have blessed the FPS genre in the 2000s, but if anyone enjoyed it at the time, or enjoyed shooters from that era, or enjoys WWII games, this one is a must-play if only to experience such a varied campaign. I've just started the Hard difficulty for another playthrough. Apparently it's the platinum-breaker. We'll see about that! I'm enjoying all of your updates! ?
Popular Post DrBloodmoney
Filling in another box, this time "Redeemed from PS+", with Slay the Spire! Still got a long road ahead of me if I end upping for the platinum, but after unlocking the The End?, for completing the final boss with all three characters, I think it meets the stipulation of completion for this event ? Great game so far - Not sure if I have the chops for the full platinum, as the ascension runs are no joke, but it's fun and satisfying when things go your way, and line up just right! Highly Recommended - this is my first deck builder game ever, so not sure where it ranks within that genre, but I can categorically state, it won't be my last! Popular Post Hurricane_Tanya
Two more games for me. I went with A King’s Tale: Final Fantasy XV for Free to Play. It took me by surprise actually, I’m not a huge final fantasy fan, although I have played a few games, but I was expecting the worst for a free game. Instead I got a retro style beat em up with a pretty good combat system. I thought the story of the King telling his son a bedtime story was nice and it didn’t try to drag it out too much. I’m looking forward to finishing the challenge levels too at some point. For Retro Remaster I went with Sly 2: Band of Thieves, There we’re quite a few changes in this game compared to the first. It went from being a Spyro type game with a hub world that you went off into different levels from, to having all of the hub world’s missions take place in that one huge area. I really liked that, the hub worlds were made much larger than the first game, with a lot more secrets to find. It meant that you really got to know the area and could figure out your own way around to complete the missions. They also added Bentley and Murray as playable characters which gave a nice change of pace to the missions. Although I could do without Bentleys helicopter missions in the third game please. Speaking of the third game, I actually started it straight after finishing this one and got a third of the way in in one sitting. I’m saving it to finish up for the Summer backlog event instead though. I didn’t play the Sly games growing up, I was really missing out.

I still need to finish quite a bit of side content to 100% the latter though. Slowly but surely, I’m working my way to my first BINGO. Popular Post papert0wng1rl
Time for the April update! This time I am only adding two games to my bingo card, which is more or less on track with my desired pace. Nothing close to an actual bingo, but I'm thinking that'll come in May or June. I have some games on my shortlist that'll definitely fulfill the requirements. But so far, I give you: Last of Us Part II: for Hype! The first game is one of my favorite games of all time, so naturally I was very hyped to play the sequel. As did many people. It's a very divisive game, and much darker in tone than its predecessor. That said, I think it's nothing short of brilliant. Depressing, flawed - yes, - but brilliant nonetheless. The trophy list, at least, was much more manageable this time around. Heavenly Bodies: for the game released in my birth month. Heavenly Bodies was unleashed into this world in December, and so was I. Fantastic puzzler with clean, stylized graphics, and challenging but fair learning curve. The puzzles themselves are pretty straightforward: just follow the schematics you are given. The majority of the challenge lies in the mastering of movements in complete weightlessness. One of the most memorable games for me so far this year, but I'm also a sucker for space, so I might be biased Spoiler B1 - With gorgeous vistas - Horizon Forbidden WestI1 - In-game weather effects - Astro's Playroom N1 - That you started but didn't finishG1 - Redeemed from PS+ - Mortal Kombat X O1 - Cult favorite B2 - With player choices and multiple endings I2 - Has no platinum trophy N2 - DLC pack or standalone DLC G2 - Side-scrolling or bullet hell O2 - Oldest on your backlog B3 - Starts with the first letter of your PSNID I3 - Non-human sidekick N3 - Player choice G3 - Last game you acquiredO3 - Reboot or spiritual successor - Ratchet & Clank [2016] B4 - With player operated vehicles - Titanfall 2I4 - Main character has no facial hair - Rise of the Tomb Raider N4 - Overplayed (100,000+ owners)G4 - With mystery or detective themes - Beyond a Steel Sky O4 - Originally released in 2022 B5 - Released in your birth month - Heavenly BodiesI5 - Hype! - Last of Us Part IIN5 - Aliens or robots - Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order G5 - Non-violent O5 - With isometric view Edited May 1, 2022 by papert0wng1rl
Popular Post Briste
Finished a couple more games to add to my card. Langrisser I & II find its way to N2 and the 'Strategy, Simulation or Management' category. While I loved the game for its nostalgia, this version of the game dragged on forever and ended up feeling like a slog by the end of it. I love that style of game though and Warsong was a childhood favorite of mine so I will not speak ill of it here lol. The other entry is Team Sonic Racing which winds up in B5 and the 'No Jump Button' spot. While there are jumps in the game, they are done via ramps and such and there is no jump button. Since I feel like a lot of the games I play have a jump button, this seemed like the right landing spot for this one. I enjoyed the game quite a bit and the price was right so that never hurts. Horizon Forbidden West should be the next game I finish, however I'm easily distracted right now and it'll probably end up as something different. Looking at my bingo card....I have no rhyme or reason yet for getting an actual bingo lol Hoping to fill out the card by the end of the year regardless, but nothing close yet!
Popular Post MD_91
WWE 2K22 done for Non-Gaming IP (I guess WWE can count for this?) and Little Nightmares for Frightening/Horror Glad I finally got around to playing Little Nightmares and I can see why it gets so much praise, the gameplay side of it is pretty forgettable but the visuals/sound/atmosphere are so good, wish it was longer but at least I've still got the DLC to play and I'll definitely buy the second one at some point. Popular Post Xylobe
I've been chipping away at my card since the beginning of the year, telling myself that I'll post an update at the end of the month... sweet comforting lies. It's May and I've done nothing. Let's remedy that. Takes "Forever" to Beat - The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth - 2/2/2022 Spoiler I wasn't sure whether this one could be counted due to the "no DLC cleanup" rule, but given that a roguelike like Isaac doesn't really have a "story" to beat, and that the Repentance DLC released late last year more than doubled the game's content, I think it slips by. I started playing Isaac a full decade ago at this point, and enjoyed it enough that I managed to gaslight myself into thinking I liked roguelikes. I tried my hand at the other genre titans at the time - FTL, Dungeons of Dredmor, etc. - and it turned out that nope, Isaac was just the one for me (even now, ten years later, the only other roguelike I've really enjoyed is Returnal). Wrath of the Lamb was excellent, Rebirth was even better, but unfortunately things started to go downhill with the Afterbirth DLC, filled to the brim with questionable design choices and dire balance issues. Afterbirth+ seemed to only make things worse, to the point that I didn't even bother picking it up. After Repentance, I can safely say that the game is better than it's ever been-- I'm happily working on a second stack after being content to let both lists languish half-finished on my profile for years. Has a Female Protagonist - Horizon Forbidden West - 2/24/2022 Spoiler "Has a female protagonist" describes a good majority of the games I've played this year, so this is something of a non-category for me. I regret picking up Horizon at launch, because releasing a week before Elden Ring meant I was sprinting to the finish line to get my schedule cleared (which I managed with about six hours to spare). It turns out that most open-world games aren't designed with the player hyper-fixating on main story quests in mind. I remember the story taking some unexpected turns, machine combat still being great, human combat still being bad, and most of the environments being disappointingly similar to the first game's... and that's about it. I give it a decisive blur/10. With Online Features - Elden Ring - 3/4/2022 Spoiler Conversely, I'm very glad I got Elden Ring at launch-- I think I would have enjoyed it significantly less if I'd been spoiled by online content creators, or strangely if I'd had access to a wiki with any information of substance. When I threw myself against Margit for 20 minutes without taking off a quarter of his health bar, decided to look elsewhere, and found a crumbling path north that skirted around Stormveil entirely, the all-too-rare feeling of "I'm not supposed to be here, but I'm going anyway" hit me like a freight train and I was hooked. When I think about starting another playthrough, I find myself thinking about item locations and optimal routes, which kills my interest almost as quickly as it came on. That first blind playthrough, with no information available even if I wanted it, was an experience I don't think I'll have again for a very long time. Furry Bait Anthropomorphized Animals - Kitaria Fables - 3/12/2022 Spoiler I feel like I can't fairly judge this game, because my expectations for it were so radically different than reality. I didn't expect another Stardew Valley, but I expected something in the same genre of "fantasy farming with some other bits tacked on." Instead, I ended up with "an unremarkable action-RPG... also there's a farm, but you won't use it." Basic combat mechanics coupled with the tiny world map and dearth of memorable characters end up creating a game that feels lacking on all fronts. The one thing it does quite well is check off one of the harder squares on my bingo card. In-Game Weather Effects - The Pathless - 3/14/2022 Spoiler I had this one in my backlog almost since the release of the PS5, so I was looking forward to finally playing it... and wow, I hated it. Everything from talismans receding into trees and cliffs to avoid your arrows, almost as if they aren't supposed to, to the teleporting storms that force you into tedious stealth sections, feels like it's there to interrupt the player and force them out of whatever "flow" state they managed to get into. Trying to keep track of which puzzles I had solved while solving another and keeping in mind that the storm on the opposite end of the plateau could teleport on top of me in an instant, yanking me out of whatever I was in the middle of, was some of the most miserable time I've spent playing a game in years. I can't say this is the worst (non-shovelware) game I've ever played as long as Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World exists, but there's no doubt it makes the shortlist in a major way. The nicest thing I can say about it is that, unlike another game it seems to have taken inspiration from, the weather effects don't lock you out of one of your basic movement options at inopportune moments. Developed in a Foreign Country - Ikenfell - 3/15/2022 Spoiler Developed in the far-off, mythical land of Vancouver (¿¿¿not even a real country??????), Ikenfell dares to ask the question: what if Harry Potter, except JK Rowling is instead a normal human being? Authentic queer representation is always better than lying about it for clout, and Ikenfell delivers what must be the most diverse cast I think I've seen in gaming. To illustrate, most examples of nonbinary characters in games are along the lines of the Knight from Hollow Knight-- i.e. not human, maybe not even characterized at all. Ikenfell has not one but three nonbinary real human beings? Unheard of. Also the battle mechanics are great. Like a combination of a standard turn-based RPG and a little bit of SRPG, sort of along the lines of the second South Park game. Really enjoyable, and not something I see a lot of. Overworld puzzles can get tedious at times, but that's probably the worst I have to say about this one. Customizable Hats - Young Souls - 3/17/2022 Spoiler Great art style, especially during cutscenes, but unfortunately the rest of the game didn't live up to that level of quality. Competent enough beat-em-up gameplay with some obligatory RPG elements, but the lack of variety in its content comes through despite its short length, which isn't a good place to be. As an example, you can visit the gym in town to boost your stats in between rounds of dungeon crawling, and there are 3 workouts you can do: weightlifting to boost your strength, an ab workout to boost defense, or cardio to boost stamina. You'll do a brief minigame while your characters work out, something akin to Stardew Valley's fishing... but it's the exact same every single time. Regardless of which workout you pick. That lack of variety translates over to enemy and encounter variety as well. The villains are fun enough characters (though I'm genetically predisposed to liking goblins), but none of the other characters stood out to me, and the depth and weight that the story tries to have doesn't feel justified or earned. I'd really only recommend it if you're looking for a fine enough game that's nice to look at to keep you busy for a weekend. Play as an Antihero or Bad Guy - Paradise Killer - 3/20/2022 Spoiler I'd planned to use this one for my "mystery or detective" square, but for reasons I won't spoil (despite becoming apparent almost immediately), it fits much better here. If "open-world murder mystery in the world of vaporwave Bloodborne" sounds remotely interesting, buy Paradise Killer. I haven't stopped thinking about it (or listening to its soundtrack) since I finished it. It's a strong contender for my Game of the Year in a year that gave us Elden Ring. With Mystery or Detective Themes - The Forgotten City - 3/26/2022 Spoiler Jacob Geller's excellent video essay about The Forgotten City, despite being what sold me on the game to begin with, unfortunately ended up taking the wind out of the sails of what would otherwise have been the game's most striking moments. The ultimate resolution of the game's mystery didn't interest me as much as the act of solving it, and discovering that particular piece of the puzzle would have made much more of an impact if knowing about it wasn't the thing that made me buy the game in the first place. "This video spoils part of the game's mystery, here it is: __________" "Oh, that sounds interesting, let me play it for myself" "Huh, it's this part. Yep, that's what's going on here alright" I just don't know what I expected. I am not a clown, I'm the whole circus. With Player Choices or Multiple Endings - Life is Strange 2 - 3/30/2022 Spoiler I'm reminded of a postmortem presentation for the original Deus Ex that Warren Spector did several years ago at GDC: "Players do the cool stuff. NPCs watch the player do the cool stuff." It's not a hard-and-fast rule, of course, but I can't think about Life is Strange 2 without thinking about this quote. I understand what Dontnod was going for - rather than the player controlling their dialogue choices using their power like the first game, force them to control this power using their choices by giving it to a young and impressionable character - but by a certain point I felt like I was buckling in for episode after episode of Idiot Child Ruins Things While You Look On in Horror. Racing or Sports - Dodgeball Academia - 3/31/2022 Spoiler It's probably not in the spirit of the category to play yet another RPG for "Racing or Sports", but being the rare sports RPG I feel like it counts. I had a great time with this one. Fun Saturday Morning-style art direction, sizeable cast of unique characters, and above all a great job translating dodgeball into something resembling RPG combat. Bonus points for being the most aggressively Brazilian game I've ever played, to the extent that localization couldn't even hide it. You have acerola juice and guaraná, but those """"chicken croquettes"""" aren't coxinhas? Sure, and those """"chocolate truffles"""" aren't brigadeiros, either. I should probably have used this one for the "snacks that heal you" square, but I'm not gonna get another gimme for sports and racing, and there's no chance of me doing a real one. Aliens or Robots - Coffee Talk - 3/31/2022 Spoiler One of the game's cafe patrons, an old-timey astronaut named Niel, is a shape-shifting alien (this is not a spoiler). I had this one in my backlog for a little bit, and felt like I should play it after the game's writer and co-creator passed away unexpectedly. I really enjoy urban fantasy settings (Onward is one of my favorite Pixar movies), and Coffee Talk does a great job incorporating all of these different fantasy races into a coherent modern setting. The drink-mixing minigame (I'm not really sure if I should call it that) is also a great way of breaking up long dialogue sections that VNs are known for, while providing more interactivity than a typical "A or B" dialogue choice. I even had fun in the endless challenge mode, which is something I never thought I'd say about anything arcadey. Award-Winning - Life is Strange: True Colors - 4/3/2022 Spoiler This one took home the gold for "Best Sequel" and the bronze for "Best Narrative/Writing" in the Good Doctor's 2021 ceremony, so it's the best fit for this category. More than anything with True Colors, I was disappointed by how little impact the "empathy" power seemed to have. The scene that introduced it had the player lose control of Alex when she was around someone angry, but by the end of episode 1 the power became "the world gets a slight colored tint" in most scenarios. I can think of one scene outside of the first episode in which Alex (and by extension, we the player) get a profound look at another character's feelings-- most other times she uses her power, Alex remains nonplussed throughout, even when dealing with characters with deep sadness or anger. Outside of that, most of the game's twists were foreshadowed quite well, but there was one near the end of the game that I really disliked. I don't want to spoil anything, but it wasn't foreshadowed, added nothing to the story, and at least from my perspective actively undermined one character's otherwise raw and valid feelings. Overall I wouldn't say I disliked the game by any stretch of the imagination, but I'd give it a modest third place victory in the "2021 games that use color as a metaphor for emotions" awards. That Gives You the Feels - Rainbow Billy - 4/5/2022 Spoiler Our second place victor in the "2021 games that use color as a metaphor for emotions" awards, Rainbow Billy is not even close to being a Paper Mario clone like its art style led me to believe. The "combat" system, if you can really call it that, is as convoluted as it is difficult to explain, but it involves reassuring the opponent about whatever their problem is (in a frankly kind of oversimplified way), then using the friends you've made on your journey in an almost deckbuilder fashion to color them in... I can't explain it in a way that makes sense. At all. But it works well enough once you get used to it, and there are clever ideas that keep encounters varied and interesting. One basic example would be an opponent that struggles with feelings of inadequacy preventing you from using friends that you've leveled up... like I said, I can't explain it. I promise it makes sense when you're playing it. Even if it borders at times on toxic positivity, it has enough care and passion poured in that you can generally push past it. Redeemed from PS Plus - SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom - 4/6/2022 Spoiler You played it too. Sci-Fi or Fantasy Themes - Ara Fell: Enhanced Edition - 4/8/2022 Spoiler Ara Fell wasn't made in RPG Maker. But out of all the games that could have been made in RPG Maker (that also aren't called Lisa), Ara Fell is probably the best that I've played. It puts emphasis on careful exploration for skill and class progression in ways I don't typically see, and it's rare to see a turn-based battle system executed this well. The cast is small by RPG standards, but the characters are well defined and have good chemistry, though the story is nothing to write home about. I had a great time with this one. Spawned an Expanded Universe - Final Fantasy XIII - 4/23/2022 Spoiler My copy of XIII-2 has some kind of novella bundled with it? I'm not really sure what's going on with that, but if the game has some print media then I guess it counts. I really didn't enjoy this one at all. The battle system is entirely quick menu navigation (my least favorite kind), the story goes nowhere very slowly before switching gears near the end to go nowhere very quickly, and the characters spend most of the game's run time being varying shades of angry and upset at anyone and anything in their vicinity (I can't recall how many times Lightning punched Snow unprovoked during cutscenes, but it was more than once). Even if I had nice things to say about the story, killing turtles for 25 hours after finishing it would have soured the experience regardless. That said, I do plan on playing XIII-2 at some point, so either I'll learn to at least enjoy the combat system or I'm simply the dumbest human alive. Cult Favorite - 3D Dot Game Heroes - 5/2/2022 Spoiler Anyone who had a hand in making the Dash Circuit minigame needs to go to jail, and that jail needs to be fired out of a cannon into the sun. My tendons have calluses and my calluses are speaking in tongues.
Popular Post Zvetiki
Two more tiles filled:With # or punctuation in the title: Valkyria Chronicles 4 VC2 was one of the best PSP games -- and in fact, the emulated version is probably the most played game on my Vita. Compared to that, VC1 was a major step back, regarding the mechanics, but also the main cast, which led me wondering why the protagonist should even want to interact friendly with several key personnel. VC4 brings back the charm and likeable cast of VC2, and the mechanics are enjoyable as usual. I like those tactical RPGs with small sized, tactical battles. Cult Favorite: The Secret of Monkey Island The recent fuss about the upcoming new addition to the series by Ron Gilbert confirms the status of Monkey Island as a cult classic. The Special Edition modernises the graphics and the interface; though it's not always an improvement, especially regarding the character portraits. Popular Post Beyondthegrave07
On 3/7/2022 at 10:34 PM, Beyondthegrave07 said: I totally didn't forget about this event and now just decided to post my January and February update. O1 - Hades O5 - Guilty Gear Strive I think Hades was a bit overhyped for me. It was still a good game, but I really didn't care for the RNG nonsense of trophies I had to deal with. Made it feel like a chore late in the game which is something I hate doing in video games. It's an isometric game so there's literally no jump button. As for Guilty Gear Strive, it was probably one of the best fighting games I've played in a long time. The sound track is an absolute banger and learning how to play the system and do absurd amount of damage was really fun. Aside from beating arcade mode on the extreme route, this was a very chill and easy platinum. Sol Badguy is the definition of anti-hero and his name has Bad Guy in it so it has to count! Next: My next finished game/platinum will likely either be TLOU 2 or Dead Nation (PS3). One of my overall goals for 2022 gaming wise is going back and finishing 5 old PS3 games and being on the zombie kick with TLOU 2, seems like a good game to mix in every now and then. Holy shit I should really learn to update this more. MARCH-APRIL UPDATE ENGAGED! N1 - Persona 4 Arena Ultimax (because what's more HYPE than that?) N2 - Dead Nation (PS3) N4 - The Last of Us 2 O1 - Hades O3 - Mugen Souls Z O5 - Guilty Gear Strive So, lots of updates since my early March update. I finished P4AU which getting the plat in itself is HYPE! as fuck. I also finished Dead Nation platinum shortly after that and it only took me 10+ years to plat! I think it's definitely frightening/horror, especially when it's super dark, your character is grunting in pain, and you're not sure why your health bar is dropping. Then, I finally finished Mugen Souls Z after not touching it for several months because another UR plat sounded nice so why not. I'm not sure where the line falls for "forever to beat", but I'm going to say 143 hours of Mugen Souls Z is more than forever. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. Lastly, I finished TLOU 2 yesterday and decided to put it Main Character doesn't have facial hair because to my knowledge, I don't believe she has any... Do not correct me on this one if I'm wrong. NEXT: Not entirely sure where I'm going with this since my next games will probably be Trigger Witch, The Adventure Pals, and KoF collection. I don't know much about any of the games so it'll be fun to finagle these games to get me a bingo. lmao.

Popular Post Dinkus83
So, it's been a couple months since my original post here and I haven't posted an update yet. I've been playing games for a backlog event and random things from checking out PSNow, so I figured I'd see where games fit after finishing them. I just hadn't taken the time to go through them yet, but I think it's definitely time to get some things on the board here. Spoiler B1 - That You Started but Didn't Finish - *King's Quest* 3D Dot Game Heroes* ? B2 - Favorite Genre - Car Mechanic Simulator - I love sims and cars, so I think this fits the bill very well! B3 - Released the Year You Joined PSNP (2017) - Seasons After Fall B4 - Non-human sidekick - Hotel Transylvania 3: Monsters Overboard - Almost everyone in this was non-human, including all the Pikmin-like guys that I considered my sidekicks. B5 - With Gorgeous Vistas I1 - Play as an Antihero or Bad Guy I2 - With Player Operated Vehicles - *some racing game, I'm sure* I3 - That You Can Beat in One Sitting - Unmechanical Extended - I didn't, but the game only takes an hour or two, so one definitely could. I4 - Cooperative Game - *Operation: Tango* I5 - Arcade, Rhythm, or Puzzle - Maquette N1 - Retro Re-release (Originally w/o Trophies) - *Final Fantasy X-2 HD* N2 - In-game Weather Effects - Astro's Playroom - I remember there being a rainy and windy bit in there somewhere N3 - Player's Choice - Castle Crashers Remaster - One of the first games I bought on my PS3, so the remaster is an excellent choice for this spot. N4 - Developed in a Foreign Country - Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons - I'm in the US and this was developed by Starbreeze Studios in Sweden. N5 - That Gives You the Feels - Final Fantasy X HD - I played the original of this sooo much, the first Final Fantasy game that I got to sink loads of time into, and I loved it. Still love it. G1 - Non-Violent - Little Big Workshop - While Nemesis is quite mean and rude over the phone when you're doing well, it never turns to violence G2 - Recommended by a PSNP Member G3 - In a Series New to You - *Monster Hunter* ? G4 - Has no platinum trophy - *The UnderGarden* ? G5 - No jump button - Doki-Doki Universe O1 - With an Isometric View - Torchlight 2 O2 - Anthropomorphized Animals - *Bakugan* ? O3 - With Player Choices or Multiple Endings - *Beyond: Two Souls* O4 - Adventure - Voodoo Chronicles O5 - That Takes "Forever" to Beat - *Two Point Hospital* .hack ? I've also penciled a few things in for possibilities in some empty spots. There are a couple of those that I'm sure of, but most of them were just thoughts while scrolling through my backlog. I could use some recommendations for the square that needs one. Also, In a series new to you, I really struggled to come up with an idea. Monster Hunter World I did play a bit of a couple years ago, but other than that I've never played one, so I'm not sure if going back to finish the story of that one would qualify? Or, if anyone has ideas for a series that I've never touched that would be helpful too Also, thoughts from anyone who is familiar with Bakugan as to whether they would count as anthropomorphized animals? I watched it with my son a bunch when he was younger, but I have a horrible memory. They are more like robots, though, right? Not really animals? (So far in the game, I have a dragon and a froggy girl that are animal-ish.) I dunno, I could use a ruling on whether that would work there or not lol. I'm playing through it now regardless, but I'll have to look for something else there if that doesn't really work. It's been good reading everyone else's progress on their cards. I have no idea how I've filled in that many squares and still no Bingo in sight, but hopefully I'll do better at keeping my card updated now that I've gone through my list of games so far this year at least.

Since you don't seem to mind RPG's, a simple option is the Adivine series. Not too complicated or difficult either for one you have not played. My recommended game is Maneater. Most of the glitches have been fixed and what I played was fun just chomping things up.

Thanks for the recommendations! I will look into Adivine. Is that a series that should be played in order, or are they separate stories?

Popular Post Evil_Joker88
2 new entries but still no Bingo yet ? Rise of the Tomb Raider is among the Reboot category to a very famous Adventurer going through some icy part of Siberia to find an old artifact before an evil cult gets it. I think this game has a good balance with hub areas to explore and collectibles to find but for that reason i kinda forgot exactly what the story was about ? I like this way more than the predecessor (Tomb Raider 2013) because it's more adventure and less shooting and they seem to continue to go that way in the latest game (Shadow of the Tomb Raider).... Besides that i'm really happy that PS NOW has a game on the list that was released just this year ? Shadow Warrior 3 is a fast paced action game in which you run around and shoot demons. And try to kill a giant dragon. With lots of small jokes to pop culture thrown in between.

Popular Post stuthesheep
Another line marked off with I4 and Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime. A super-cutesy couch co-op game with several fairly straightforward ultra rare trophies if you're looking to inflate your profile slightly. Only two trophies presented any kind of challenge even in single-player, which is pretty useful if you're a miserable old bugger with no friends like me. Spoiler B1 (Reboot) Ratchet & Clank 21/4 I1 (No Jump Button) Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice 26/1 N1 (Weeb) Shenmue 28/3 G1 (Antihero) God of War III 8/3 O1 (Punctuation) Mass Effect: Andromeda 1/3 I2 (SciFi/Fantasy) Rime 1/2 N2 (No Humans) Spy Chameleon 24/3 I3 (DLC) Rise of the Tomb Raider: Endurance 7/2 O3 (Crafting) Assassin's Creed: Origins 12/1 B4 (Free) Kitten Squad 20/1 I4 (Cooperative) Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime 10/5 I5 (Non-Human Sidekick) 2064: Read-Only Memories 27/4 G5 (Underplayed) The Forgotten City 3/1 (109 players at time of completion)

Popular Post MAUSZX
BINGO BANGO lol First Bingo in this event, sorry it took me a lot of time to even do one. So I already talked about GOAT SIMULATOR, Trover, MASS EFFECT and SHALNOR, time for the new ones. Again most of this games I just play and get the platinum and then realized it fitted a category here, so this is why it takes me longer than expected, because I don't really plan on most games. A series new to you. FarCry4. Yes, I never played a farcry before, I always had the intention but never happened, and after completing this games I was like "wait this fits A new series to me, so here you go, nothing really to explain, open world, fps, kinda chaotic, random with wild animals potentially helping you or ruin you, is fun, it takes some time to really get into the game, but once you do is like second nature. The bad guy is a well develop character even with the little time you interact with him. Sci-fi or Fantasy, Ghostrunner. This is clearly Sci-fi, a fast pace, kinda platformer kinda action game, a ninja robot in a super apocalyptic future trying to stop the bad guys, which in this case is Mara basically doing whatever possible to make "everything better" even by killing a lot of innocent people. That gives you the feels. Lost Ember. This is an indie game, about a Spirit that wants to reach the afterlife but can't, so he finds a wolf and ask for help, turns out the wolf also has a spirit of a person that can't go into the afterlife, so you basically go towards that by learning what you both did in your life, it is a super touching game in almost every aspect I can think of, this game put me almost to tears, super good, I really recommend this one. No human Sidekick. Ratchet and Clank 2. Clank is the sidekick of Ratchet and is not human, or you can say Ratchet is the sidekick of Clank, also not human, is the classic ps2 game that was remastered for the ps3 game, super solid game, kinda weird the way the platinum is, since is all about the challenges and not beating the game the way you get trophies, I am glad I am done with this game and now I am one game away to get the entire first trilogy done. Ultra Rare Platinum. Hood Outlaws and Legends. (ps5). To this day this game has an UltraRare Platinum 3.81%. This is a multiplayer game, where you can play as a Robin Hood, John, Marianne, Tooke and or Eida, you need to steal a chest from the State. It has a PVE mode, where is only 4 of you against the State. Then there is the PVP which is 4 v 4 v State. The game is fun, the potential is huge, sadly is more potential than anything, again the game can be fun, but there is a lot of bad design in the game that sometimes it makes it frustrating, every map is super similar so it also feels repetitive, there is a lot of balance issues. I think this game should lock on that a team can only have 1 of each character, so it can potentially be more balanced, but that's just me. Still I had my fun with it, at the end I was more frustrated than anything, so I am glad that I finish this one. And that is all, this is my first Bingo, it will take me a little bit of time to get the next one since, I am balancing stuff in this event and others, but I do have an idea of what games to do next.
