I finished some more games for this with Mafia, Man Eater + DLC and AI: The Somnium Files NirvanA Initiative.

 

 

 

Seeing AI besides the white it seems more grey so not sure if it would count for white. Compared to my grey game it looks white.

Update time! I finished Strategic Mind: The Pacific today for blue. I don't love that there's not a ton of it...but it's the only option so there it is. Strategic Mind: The Pacific is a super popular, AAA game that has brought enjoyment to thousands and thousands of gamers...just kidding. There are 35 owners on this site and I'm only the third person to platinum the game. It's a Turn Based Strategy game that takes place in the Pacific theater of World War 2 and had the potential to be amazing...but unfortunately it is a sloppy, bug ridden game that would only be enjoyed by TBS enthusiasts. The game crashed 30 times on the last level alone in the US campaign for me because the tank sprite decided to become a red question mark that flopped around the screen like a toddler that goes limp when it's bed time. I made a video of it since it was so bad lol

If I had let the recording go longer, the game literally crashed five seconds after I hit 'Stop Recording'...

 

I really, really wish I could recommend this game since I love the genre...but it is just not a good game :/...well it's a decent game behind several layers of pure trash that isn't worth putting up with for most gamers.

 

Next up for me will be the entire Final Fantasy Pixel Series being released tomorrow. It looks like I'll be able to get a lot of my rainbow complete from those games, so that's awesome. It'll be great to be able to add these games from my childhood to my profile. If you haven't played them before, I recommend playing VI at the minimum, but they are all great on some level with some being amazing.

I've completed my 10th game for this event.  Fallout: New Vegas for blue! 

 

Fallout: New Vegas is a glitchy, buggy, mess of a game....and I love every bit of it.  Fallout: New Vegas has been one of my favorite games since I first played it in 2012.  I love exploring the Mojave Wasteland, I love the different factions and how they interact with each other and their delightful Fallout quirkiness, I love the tension the different factions have created in the Mojave.  Just about every aspect of it is part of a power struggle and I love the feeling that every decision you make can shift the balance of power.  Every decision to me felt meaningful. 

 

When I first played this game I did just about everything...except the end game stuff.  I always saved endgame stuff in Bethesda games until I'm completely done.  Unfortunately, my file size got too big and New Vegas is notoriously laggy and buggy the larger your file size.  It got to the point where I was getting like 3 frames per minute whenever I got to a populated settlement and it became unplayable.  I have 3 Fallout: New Vegas copies, but unfortunately my PS3 will not play any of them, and I had to stream it.  Which means I don't think I'll be able to get the 100%.  The platinum trophy is good enough for now.  Of all my platinum trophies, this is probably the most meaningful to me and this event gave me the perfect opportunity to crack New Vegas open again and lose myself in the Mojave Wasteland.

Looking at the trophies I've earned this year to date, I'm currently sitting on a prismatic 12 colours! I guess that makes me a Rainbow Warrior with plenty of time left to try for the other colours this year.

I've stuck you down for 11 complete -Goat Simulator for green is a little tenuous, but still okay,  but I think Ticket to Ride as a red is a bit too far of a stretch ?

 

Best to save that one for Tan on a second card... ?

Thanks! I did think a couple of them were tenuous but wasn't sure how strictly. Gotta try these things though right? 

I've got Plague Inc on my maybe pile for this year anyway so hopefully I'll scoop up the red there.

Plague Inc could work for a red, though depending on what you have in the pipeline, you might consider it for Maroon - as that seems to be the colour most folks have the hardest time filling!

Finally, an update!  

 

For my Blue entry: The Raven: Legacy of a Master Thief.  Nice little heist game whereas you play each of the main characters, seeing the heist from their view.  Recommend it for a nice relaxing and entertaining game.

 

Brown: The Council.  Looked at a few of my competitor's lists and saw The Council.  As a member of a 1793 secret society, you live a tale of intrigue and manipulation on the hunt for your missing mother.  A bit wordy for me; I think I fell asleep a few times but actually a nice game if you could stay awake.

I've downloading the pixel remaster of Final Fantasy I, might nuke another attempt at a game to re-enter the second card. I'm assuming that all six Pixel Remasters might be considered White as their game images are mostly Amano art on white backgrounds(although VI could be black or red depending on who you ask ).

Ah, I've got Plague Inc planned for Maroon, so it's good to hear it's okay for that!

I finished up WRC 7 for my 11th game. I got this game when I first bought a ps4 and it only took me a bit over 4 years to finish those 1000 stages. That's around 700 stages after finishing the career and getting most of the other trophies. A big grind for no reason

Double update this time! For Black I'm adding Pinball Heroes. This one was short and sweet and I only really played it to get a break from my other game here, but it was good nonetheless. I feel like for the content that it offered the trophies and length both suited it very well, it was also a cool vibe of nostalgia from old IPs, some of which I've never played. The rewind function was very helpful too since I'm not amazing at pinball ?. Now onto Yellow, which is Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Extraction. I really don't have a lot to say about this one which is kinda surprising to me since Siege is one of if not my favorite game of all time, and this is a spin off of an event from Siege for anyone who didn't know that. It really got boring with the grind at the end, but the concept was cool and I enjoyed how faithful the gameplay was to the original game. It really didn't need a whole game for it since there weren't really any big upgrades made. I wouldn't have played it if not for Siege meaning (again) a lot to me, and I expected a little more. They could have done a lot better with it and I already didn't have great expectations going in because I've seen reviews from people who also play Siege a lot. So unless you really think you'll enjoy it and are familiar with the gameplay style I honestly don't recommend it lol. Also if I could get another opinion on if Pinball Heroes deserves black that'd be appreciated, I'm not really clear on how it would fall under the background rule.

Hello again friends, I've had a few days off, so I put the PS Plus Premium game list on the screen and threw a dart to select a game and I hit my 13th game which is "Toy Story Mania", after replacing my dart laden monitor, I discovered that my choice was an easy one and yellow. 

 

 

So review time, I watch children's movies, and loved the Toy Story movies growing up (with the exception of the Lightyear movie that came out last year which is "Ehhhh...") so you may expect that I'd have played this game already, but no. I don't own this game on PS3 so it was streamed without the use of a Move controller.

 

TSM is a shooting gallery game, with a 40 total levels, 30 of which are fairly standard and traditional affairs, and 10 which are often quite different and worse, (like catching eggs in a basket and tennis.) It's hard to be have strong feelings on the gameplay since it's simple and works, but is also very much a game that you usually only play in the fairground for only 2 minutes. I do have strong feelings on the voice acting, which commentated wherever you highlight in the menus, it was instantly annoying, and I turned the voice volume off because of it.

The trophies were mostly to do one side objective for each level, which meant I didn't really play it to it's fullest, as soon as I completed a trophy, I had a nap afterwards. So maybe my criticisms are unfair.

Another game done! Dust: An Elysian Tail is an awesome indie 2D RPG. I loved the art style, the combat, the pace of the game. Even the plot had its twists. If you have played Muramasa, this is the same style of game (but with an indie vibe). It's an affordable game, so give it a try!

 

The next game will be The Artful Escape, and then... I wanted to play Guardians of the Galaxy, but I'll probably need another monitor to check a collectible guide while I play. Kena just arrived on PS Plus extra, so I think I'm going to leave GOTG for later (when I have my second monitor), change my black to Kena, and play that!
