Popular Post rjkclarke
It seems pretty unlikely that I'll hit a second completed card by the end of December, but you never know..... Stranger things have happened.... So this is after looking through all my other completions for this year, the colours that I think I can add to this new one. We've got..... Firewatch for Yellow LEGO: The Incredibles for Orange Blood Knights for Red Ape Escape 2 for Blue Initiation (DLC for Batman: Arkham Origins) for Light Blue We Were Here Too for Brown Batman: Arkham Origins for Grey The Order 1886 for Black
Popular Post Dezorak
coming in with shock of another horror game The Calisto Protocol.... for someone who hates them I completed a fair few (but then again when someone buys them me i cant refuse, and there good for tiktok/streaming content lol) will say The Calisto Protocol is a horrible game with jumpscares and monsters (if you like horror or dead space you will prob love it) and i will say for anyone considering complete it first then NG+ the harder difficulty as they can be a little unforgiving at times :D. Breakingthegreen
@DrBloodmoney Hey Doc, quick question, Say I play Inscryption on PS4 which was an orange game. Then some time later I played Spider-Man and all other games I was playing were falling short so I decided to play the PS5 version which would be maroon. Would I be able to to use both? DrBloodmoney
Just now, Breakingthegreen said: @DrBloodmoney Hey Doc, quick question, Say I Inscryption on PS4 which was an orange game. Yeah - that's no problem. In fact, I'm pretty sure I have the exact same situation - I have Outer Worlds PS4 version as one colour on one card, and PS5 version as another colour on a different one! If the two version use the same image, then they can be used on two cards, but they need to be for the same colour on both.... ...but If they use different images, (like Outer Worlds, or Inscryption) then it's basically treated as two completely different games for this event!

Popular Post PraiseTheFluppi
I completely forgot I started this challenge, and have not made an update since May 🤣 I've completed a few games since then (obviously lol), and I also changed one game: Gods Will Fall for Tan Monster Hunter Rise for Purple Ace of Seafood for Light Blue Ratchet & Clank 3 for Brown and I swapped 2Dark with Redeemer for Red I thought about using Gal*Gunvolt Burst for Pink, but that game tile has four different colors and they are pretty balanced, so I'm not sure if I want to use it. I'm still not satisfied with Yellow, but I haven't finished a game with a better fitting game tile, so KeyWe has to stay for a while longer
Popular Post Briste
Looks like I'm working on semi-annual updates here....My last update was in June and I've finished several games since then, but only a couple that would work here I think: New to my card is Battlefield: Bad Company, I'd love to be able to use it as yellow, but I'm pretty sure that smiley face isn't enough. Hopefully, the white lettering will do for white. I had started this game just before the announcement of the server closure and I did the vast majority of the work for this one back in March/April, but I wanted to pop that and Bad Company 2 consecutively so I held off on the platinum until last month. The game is 15 years old so I don't need to probably say anything here that hasn't already been said. Servers close in a month and if you haven't started it yet and you care about completion percentage, a month might be cutting it close. If you're nuts with a boosting group, it can be done, but if you're doing it alone, damn near impossible in that time. Next new color is Tan. For that I'm using the Genshin Impact DLC Trophy Pack 6 image. I didn't want to use a DLC, but my only other potentially tan game is Bioshock and I haven't popped that one yet. It took me about 10-12 hours to finish the DLC, which is more time than it took to beat both Pumpkin Jack (my orange) and Unpacking combined, so I feel ok using it here. I love Genshin, but it's the game that never ends...it goes on and on my friends....it's as visually beautiful as ever and I still log in every day for at least 15 minutes or so to do my dailies, but if they stopped making new content for this, I wouldn't be upset lol I swapped out Actual Sunlight for Pumpkin Jack since PJ has a platinum and took longer than an hour. It's a nice little 3D platformer. It's a visually well done game, but everything else is pretty basic. Basic combat, basic puzzles, basic story...I picked it up to play for Halloween and it was fun for what it was. My Brown game I went with Unpacking, which I could probably use as tan, but I think it's better as brown. I really enjoyed this short, little puzzle game. Every once in a while it's nice to play something laid back. Unpacking is much more fun when you don't have to do any heavy lifting. The game just follows a young, Jewish girl as she moves throughout the early stages of her life. The story is simply in the things she carries with her. I would recommend. My Black game is Madden NFL 23. This game is probably my biggest ragret from a trophy hunting perspective in the last several years. The game is your typical, average Madden game, but the trophy list is atrocious. The Clean The Pile trophy is one of the worst I've ever had to get and the platinum requires you to beat the 'Face of the Franchise' mode, not 1 or 2 or 3 or even 4 times, but FIVE times. You have to get to level 30 as a QB, RB, WR, LB and CB....it takes about four full seasons to get to level 30 and it was the exact same thing each time. It was a brutal platinum to get folks. Do NOT recommend..... Looking at my game list, I have a few potentials for yellow, but I have my doubts. I could maybe switch Shiren The Wander to Yellow since the sky is Yellow and make Final Fantasy VI my Maroon and find a new Red, but that Shiren Maroon is like spot on...or maybe there's enough Yellow on Bioshock to count as Yellow. The Jurassic World Evolution 2 DLC image is trying super hard to be yellow, but seems almost gold/orange/bronze....I wish Actual Sunlight would count as Yellow since my guys in Pearl Jam sing about a 'Lemon Yellow Sun' and the game image has an actual Lemon Yellow Sun, however I think Orange is the dominant color there. Final Fantasy XVI goes from a deep Yellow through the rainbow until it gets to Deep Blue, but again, not sure there's enough there to count as Yellow. I'll probably have to go with a DLC image from the LEGO DC Super-Villains Shazam DLC, but we'll see what I come up with. So close, yet so far....unless of course my old eyes aren't seeing yellow like they used to 😛 Any recommendations? Popular Post MAUSZX
Finished. As I said before I had some games that fitted in more than one color, so I wanted to see where to put them after getting other colors. The last colors that I needed to report are the next ones: Tan: Dark Pictures Little Hope. If you have played Man of Medan, Until Dawn or those kinds of games, you know what this is, is basically a "play a horror movie" game, this is a step up from Man of Medan in my opinion, so I do recommend it. Orange: Deathloop. Half Dishonored, Half shooter with the story of Groudhog day... sounds awesome, it was just ok, nothing really bad, it feels like the devs tried to do a Hitman style of killing your targets but it seems like the ran out of time and it feels like something was missing. Purple: The Persistence Enhanced. So this game is the ps5 version of the ps4, is a Roguelite/survival horror kind of game, actually very good one imo. Some parts were hard as hell and of course some trophies full of RNG. Deep Purple: Planet of the eyes. I did this game a long time ago it fits with deep purple, purple and pink, so that's why I was waiting for it. A very easy platinum the game is a platformer kinda similar to Limbo. Green: The mummy Demastered. I bought this game a long time ago because I heard good things about it, I thought it was a hack n slash. Is a metrovania shooter, very surprised and actually very good, specially the music, also an easy game, easy platinum. Light Green: Gravity Rush DLC. (they all look the same) because I was moving from home I had some time without consoles so I got into the Vita a little bit. I didn't remember how hard some of the challenges were, and this dlc challenges were super hard, very good game still. Brown: Stubbs the Zombie. Stubbs the Zombie was a ps2 game, if you have played Destroy all humans it feels like that type of games era, basically open world games to just play around with a story and areas that increase difficulty. Hardest trophy the perfect dancing minigame.
Popular Post lady-reze
For tan, I played Call of the Sea. This is a pretty short game with a very easy platinum. There was a lot of missable trophies, but I found two great guides that helped me get all the trophies in one playthrough. Usually I don't expect much from short indie games with easy platinums because, in my experience, their narratives usually aren't the strongest. Call of the Sea, however, is nothing of the sort. Although initially uninterested in the story of this game, I grew to love it with each passing chapter. Very rarely in a game do I find myself reading all of the notes (even ones that didn't count towards the collectible trophy) because I wanted to unravel the mystery of this game. Each chapter includes around 1-3 puzzles, all of which are very fun to do. They're not too hard, but just enough challenge to make you think which is perfect in my opinion. I'm also surprised by how pretty this game looked. There's an underwater section of the game and it looked absolutely gorgeous. The music and voice acting was all super well done too. There are two endings in this game and only one is required for the platinum. After getting the platinum, I still went back and finished the other ending because I absolutely loved this story and wanted to see how both options would play out. This is definitely a game I'd recommend for anyone looking for a short/easy platinum, but still wanting to experience a great game.
Popular Post Fanatixa1
Hi everyone, I've completed Spider-Man 2 for red. What a great game! I had so much fun playing it. I added Narita Boy for black. I played this game some months ago, but never added it to the challenge. I have to say it was not really good. I was glad when I finished it. Popular Post Breakingthegreen
Hello again friends! Pro tip for this game, Play Lego Dimensions, it's been very useful for filling out sections of the chart that I couldn't be bothered with. I have now completed a 4th card and am fresh out of ideas, I just played a lot of games, notice I've nearly done a card, then go out of my way for the the last few. Could I do a 5th? I really don't wanna stress out in the last two months so this will likely be my final update. Card 4 Ranking Inscryption (PS5): I liked the game so much I played it again only two months later, and know how rare that is outside of very short games. You gotta play it. Something fun about this game, someone once messaged me for advice on the Grizzly wall. I felt powerful because at this point I have multiple strats for that obstacle. Marvel's Spider-Man 2: One could say it's a fairly safe game, another would say that it's a game with more refined mechanics, I say that I had a lot of fun. And I think that's all you need. Lego Dimensions: Here's a fun fact, when they announced the PS3 store would close, the first thing I did was claim all the level packs on the PS3 version. I do really enjoy this game, it's the only Toys to Life game that plays with being a toy as much as it does. It also has the best original story in a Lego game in my opinion. It also let's you buy a mini figure of Peter Capaldi, nothing but positives (except for the PS3's optimisation). We Were Here Expeditions: The FriendShip: This game was free for a short spell, I hope that a lot more folks played it because these co-op games are a delight, this one only has 3 levels but to get gold, you'll need to really be masters of communication. Rubber Bandits: Gang beasts-like? Kinda, but it's still a tonne of fun and if you have a friend to play it with you absolutely should. Lego Dimensions - Ghostbusters (2016) Story Pack: Did anyone else watch the movie, I did. It was fine, but in all honesty I preferred in in Lego it feels like there were a lot more opportunities for physical comedy that the movie didn't take advantage of that at explored in this DLC. Jumping Flash: I actually had done this one quite early on, but I didn't submit it since the trophy card looks different depending if you're viewing it on PS4 or PS5. Fortunately Robbit is white and he's on both cards. This is the first ever 3D Platformer, and it is genuinely still quite fun. (Play the PAL version it has more cutscenes for some reason.) Lego Dimensions - Midway Arcade Level Pack: You can play Rampage in this DLC, that's cool. AND KLAX! HELL YEAH! KLAX BABY! In all seriousness most of the arcade segments just get in the way of Lego game for me. Sam & Max: Beyond Space and Time: This game is so bizarre and funny in moments, but not enough moments to be honest. Still happy to get another Telltale series done. I'll go do series 3... later. Medevil Resurrection: A worse version of the PS4 remake. But this one does have Tom baker. But for the love of God play it on PS5, it got near unplayable in parts. Ultra Foodmess: An okay collection of party games that are only fun with friends. But there's much better party games out there with more content. Side Bullet: A 2D Battle Royale that I had no reason to finish until someone reached out to me for boosting. And now I have the Platinum. It's okay I guess. But I wanted to stop playing much worse than when I played Rumbleverse. A Building full of Cats: The knowledge that profits go to cat shelters is, in my opinion, the reason to play the game. It's an okay hidden object game and it's worse than it's sequel. Twogether: Project Indigo: Chapter One: I got this for 84p, could be worse I guess, but it felt like it needed more time in the oven, it's story heavy but the story is contained to talks in the Lift. The puzzles are alright, but the physics engine sometimes will soft lock you. The game also ends on a cliff hanger that doesn't look like is gonna get resolved. Frogger Returns: This was purely to fill out the card. I didn't have fun. It's only got four levels and it's quite glitchy. Halloween Puzzle: This is worse than Puzzle Journey because this one doesn't have a rabbit, and it's the year of the rabbit, so that's not on. Breakingthegreen's Unscientific Ranking of 57 Semi Randomly Selected Games (+ 6 Lego Dimensions Level Packs and 1 replayed game) It's got to the point where I'm gonna put my overall ranking in a spoiler box, otherwise I'd be a space hog Spoiler Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time I was a Teenage Exocolonist Persona 5 Royal (PS5) Inscryption (PS5) Inscryption (PS4) Humanity Marvel's Spider-Man 2 The Quarry (PS4) Moss Book II (PS4) Killer Frequency Chirocy: A Colorful Tale (PS4) Stray (PS4) Road 96: Mile 0 God of War: Ragnarok Sayonara Wild Hearts Remember Me Inside Lego Dimensions Unpacking Watch Dogs Legion F.I.S.T. Popular Post woggly4
Long time no update, but I finally finished my fifth game: "Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew" for purple! Not sure if I will be able to complete my card but it's the taking part that counts. 😁 Shadow Gambit is the spiritual successor of Desperados III (which is a fantastic RTT!) and the first self-published game by developer Mimimi Games. It builds onto the very fun mechanics of D3 and introduces very great additions. Normally I don't like heavily "unrealistic" or fantasy games but I'm very glad I played it, to be honest I only did because both Mimimi games that were released before are fantastic. There's a lot to do in Shadow Gambit and even though there aren't that many missions the fun of Mimimi games is always to replay them with different setups and earn the respective in-game badges that force you to play very different between missions, for some reason it never gets boring, at least for me. They also upgraded the storytelling and relationships between the characters, overall a very fun but also challenging game. Mimimi's games always make me play beyond trophies, which very few newer games accomplish. If you don't know Mimimi's games yet and love RTTs, definitely have a look! Unfortunately they decided that Shadow Gambit will be their last game and the studio will be closed soon after one last content drop for SG. Makes me very sad because a possible Desperados IV with the improvements of Shadow Gambit could have been the game of my dreams.
Popular Post pelagia14
Time for another update on Card #3! Red: Marvel's Spider-Man 2 If you played the first Spider-Man game and liked it at all, you should definitely get around to playing this one at some point. The gameplay improvements are fantastic, you no longer need to do a bunch of street crimes to 100% each district, and goddamn the constant ray-tracing without performance issues is just wild. Pink: Killer Frequency I discovered this game thanks to @Breakingthegreen's post over here, and really enjoyed the game! The game is dialogue-heavy with a little bit of puzzle-solving thrown in, and is a great choice if you're looking for something interesting to platinum in a weekend.

Popular Post Penguin_boy18
Haven't updated mine individually since I've been busy, but I've been able to fully complete it with the completion of Night in the Woods, I think. Feel like it's sorta a stretch for it, but I'll see what some people here have to say about it and change if needed :). I enjoyed seeing a ton of different games that implement different colors and notice that a TON do red lol. A very good new event! Games: White: Assassin's Creed 2 Yellow: Cyberpunk 2077 Tan: We Were Here Expeditions: The FriendShip Orange: Creature in the Well Red: Far Cry 6 Pink: Unpacking Maroon: Night in the Woods Purple: Saints Row The Third: Remastered (PS5) Deep Purple: I Was a Teenage Exocolonist (Amazing game! Popular Post pelagia14
Alright, Card #3 is not yet complete but my fourth card is already starting to fill up. CARD #3 - IN PROGRESS Spoiler OVIVO Chants of Sennaar Serial Cleaner Mass Effect 3: Legendary Edition Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Killer Frequency Divination Paradise Killer Mass Effect 1: Legendary Edition Untitled Goose Game Man of Medan (Dark Pictures Anthology) Mass Effect 2: Legendary Edition The Mooseman Hades CARD #4 Tempus Saltsea Chronicles Little Hope Assassin's Creed: Mirage Ratchet & Clank Call of the Sea The Quarry Tempus I played much earlier this year. It was okay as a short puzzler platinum, but the game didn't at all take advantage of its premise for narrative or even puzzle purposes. Saltsea Chronicles is a recent indie adventure game that focuses on a community of people searching for their missing captain. It's a mixture of Point-and-Click and Visual Novel, and I actually enjoyed the game so much that I decided to make a PSNP Guide for it! Little Hope is the second game in The Dark Pictures Anthology of "interactive cinematic horror games". At first, I found it to be better than the first DPA game (Man of Medan) but I found the ending to be really terrible. I get what the developers were *trying* to do, but it didn't work at all for me. Assassin's Creed: Mirage was a nostalgic return to some of the more classic game mechanics of the early Assassin's Creed franchise. The game initially was supposed to be a DLC for Valhalla, and in terms of narrative it never really escapes that vibe. Getting to play a new AC game that is centered on a single city and refocused on stealth mechanics was a delight, though, so it's definitely worth checking out - just probably once it goes on sale. Ratchet & Clank - I had never played previous games in the franchise, as I'm not quite the target demographic, but it was a nice change of pace to play something not quite in my wheelhouse. Definitely took me a while to get used to a game where you are intended to just go nuts with all your bombastic, over-the-top weapons, instead of focusing on conserving ammunition! Call of the Sea - I went into this game almost completely blind, just knowing that it was a mystery adventure game, people enjoyed it, and it is currently available on the PS+ Catalog. I ended up really enjoying my time with where the story went! The Quarry was a game I was super excited to play, since it was Supermassive Games' spiritual successor to their breakout game Until Dawn. It was definitely nostalgic of campy 80s teen slasher movies and I was super impressed by the details in facial and body animations from the mocap performances. Sadly the game has a terrible 'Chapter Select' system that makes getting the Platinum a much longer and less fun experience compared to Until Dawn, especially if you don't take a break with other games between playthroughs. BeefzoneListener
Hello everyone, I've been working on my last 2 colours and I'll definitely post an update soon, but I'm really split on this game - It's clearly meant to be golden, so I guess that would make it fall under tan, but at the same time the colour is really... light, maybe too light for tan and more like yellow, what do you all think, would you be fine with this taking tan (under assumption that it's meant to be gold) or is it too light?

Popular Post DrBloodmoney
Adding one to my 4th Card, courtesy of Alan Wake II (PS5)! An amazing follow up to the original Alan Wake - takes the Stephen King influence down a notch, but ratchets up the David Lynch and the Twilight Zone influence to 11, and wraps it in literally the best amalgamation of videogame graphics and live-action I've ever seen! It's hard to know where to start with heaping praise on this one - it's a detective story that works, a meta-writing story that works, a survival horror game that works... ...and had me consistently saying "holy shit, I've never seen anything like that before" all the way through! Takes a hell of a game for me to get a game-breaking glitch 90% of the way through, that meant I couldn't continue, and not even be mad... ...because it gave me an excuse to start over (with MsBloodmoney watching the whole thing like a movie that time)! Wasn't quite sure about this one for Maroon when I looked at it on the site, but tried slotting it in, and I think it actually works pretty well as part of a rainbow! Popular Post lady-reze
For light green, I played Yuppie Psycho. Wow, what a great game! It quickly became a favorite of mine. I love horror games, but I am a bit picky with them so I wasn't sure what to expect with this game. The best way I can describe this game is black comedy. It can be creepy at times, but a large majority of this game is so eccentric and quirky that its hard to take it seriously. The game follows a corporate worker whose assignment on his first day is to kill the "witch", an entity that has been corrupting the company for years and is responsible for all the weird things happening around the building. I found it very fun, and all of the characters have their own charm about them. Any fans of VA-11 Hall-A would be pleased to know Garoad also does the music for this game so my ears were blessed as I was playing this haha. Onto the most important part though.. the trophies. This game definitely makes you work for the platinum. There's a few story-based trophies but the large majority of them were missable. I had to do two full playthroughs and reload a bunch of previous saves to get all of them. I didn't mind though because this game rocks and it was a blast to play. I recommend it!
Popular Post PotrikBerger
A little update for my 2nd Card which is close to completion. Pink - Unpacking Maroon - Killer Frequency White - Atomic Heart Purple - Humanity Tan - Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion Red - Tales of Iron Light Blue - Final Fantasy XV Orange - Montgomery Fox and the Revenge of Victor Draven Light Green - Clash: Artifacts of Chaos Sorry - I meant to also suggest this possibility - Could Pirates of the Enchiridion pass for Blue? (it does have Blue in the middle of the tile, honest!) If so I could squeeze BG3 in for the tan slot and complete this card?

I got Deep Purple with a 100% in Wheel of Fortune. Not really worth a mini review, it is what it is pretty much. So this just leaves me with needing Blue to complete my 2nd card......so @DrBloodmoney........is there anyway I could use Baulder's Gate 3 or Robocop: Rogue City as my blue entry? Both aren't really Blue I know (taking the piss alert!), but BG3 took so long to platinum that I jut want it in there somewhere lol and Robocop will be completed soon enough Thanks again for a great event, and indeed the only event I've ever taken part in here on PSN and its been good fun. I think both Baldur's Gate III and Robocop as blue would be a bridge too far! I think Baldur's Gate can only realistically be a grey or a Tan, and Robocop only really a Grey.... ...however, I actually think Sherlock Holmes: Chapter One is a much more obvious blue than it is a green, so I'd use that for blue.... ...and so maybe with a little shuffling around, you might find some other colour is free, that might be easier to fill?

Instead, I'm adding in Grindstone, which is a much better choice. For Black, I'm swapping out The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth for Callisto Protocol. To be fair, I was pretty happy with Isaac. It was a great game, and the platinum took me over 150 hours. But in Rainbow World, I think Callisto Protocol's game image is pretty tough to be beat for black. Still working on a couple of things for Yellow, so that I can finish up my card. I'll probably have a ton of leftover games for follow-up cards, but still haven't decided whether or not I'll do that.
