Hey guys! Just to let you know I'm still alive! 😂

 

Just a quick update, completed one more DLC and more are to come, I believe. I'm concentrating now on completing FFXV for my 225th platinum. The DLCs for this game are following. But for now:

The first 3 DLC here (and MW3) I enjoyed a lot, except from the anxiety of the game glitching and crashing out again with Tomb Raider. The BioShock 2 DLC however... my God why did I decide when I was younger to get the PS3 version of BioShock 2 instead of the PS4 remastered version 😬 - the DLC was to play on every DLC map and win on them, then get to level 50 in the multiplayer... so me and @rjkclarke just spent around 20hrs hacking turrets repeatedly, great fun, totally would recommend 😅. It's done now anyway, and that's a big PS3 multiplayer off my backlog.

 

Gunna be working on some more Borderlands DLC when I see Rob, and I'm working on Black Ops DLC every Monday with a group of friends I'm playing COD Zombies with, managed to pick up some trophies there so that should be another DLC pack coming soon!

Dirt 5 is definitely not the best (offroad) racing game I played but it was alright. All the DLCs are just more of what the main game is with a few different event types added. I've read some people were struggling with these but none of them gave me trouble.

Watch Dogs had a bit of online stuff, playing a bunch of story mission in 2 player co-op and a trophy to win 4 times in a row in 2v2 pvp mode.

Big thanks to @animenkna for asking me to join up for the online trophies which inspired me to actually clean up the rest of the stuff. Even tho we had 4 people ready to boost, randoms and not being able to connect didnt allow us to boost. But thanks to a very nice AFK person we had to fight against only 1 actual player so Ani and I kicked as as it was 2v1 Other than that there was another online trophy which included finishing around 8 coop missions and a 3 part mini storyline which shows up on the mission select at random, so that was nice exiting and entering the game hoping to get that mission. I ended up playing those with Ani and another fellow. Ended up being a pretty enjoyable experience as I like Watch Dogs as a franchise and doing simple co-op tends to be fun.

Crysis 3 PS3 had under 10 hours of boosting with a minimum of 6 people for base game and dlc. DLC was relatively short, under 2 hours for everything.

A bunch of misc trophies nothing important tbh.

*WARNING : CRYSIS 3 PS3 SERVERS ARE SHUTTING DOWN ON THE 7TH OF SEPTEMBER 2023, THATS IN A WEEK AND A HALF FROM NOW.

 

Annnnd Killing Floor 2, yea we all know the 1 trophy stuff each 6 months.

For those who dont know, basically each trophy requires you to collect 10 collectibles in a map. Developers just port community maps from PC to consoles every now and then and give 1 trophy each time. Not even a new DLC pack, just add a trophy to the existing one. So the whole community of completionist trophy hunters come back to Killing Floor 2 2 times each year to spend 10 minutes on that one new trophy.

35. Skatebird- Skate Heaven

 

It’s been a hot minute. The birth of my son this summer has killed a lot of my trophy hunting momentum in general, and I’ve shifted my focus lately to more casual games that are easy to pick up and put down in 20 min increments or so. 
 

I picked up Skatebird this week because it was on sale and extreme sports games are one of my favorite genres. Weirdly the included DLC maps were required for progress towards the platinum. The game was pretty easy, but due to the janky controls I felt like it really overstayed its welcome after a few levels

Hey guys, long time no update 😅 but I'm finally back with something to contribute to the event!

 

I've been working on cleaning up my profile, getting it to 100% by the time I get to plat 100. Yesterday I managed to platinum Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, and at the same time clearing the Margaret character DLC. Still need to finish up the other 2 DLC character combos, but for now I can add one to this event 😁. Happy hunting everyone!

Woke up to another Golf With Your Friends DLC being released. Not sure I am going to do it though as its horrendously over priced. For reference the previous 2 paid courses are $2.99 USD / $3.99 CAD for an 18 hole course, and $1.99 USD / $2.99 CAD for a 9 hole course.

 

The new 18 hole course? $8.99 USD / $11.99 CAD. Absolutely insane.

 

EDIT: Apparently they are planning to increase the price of the old DLC too. lol

Two Point Campus: Medical School: This one is a crossover between Two Point Hospital and Two Point Campus. I thought it worked surprisingly well, sometimes I wasn't even sure which game I was playing . The DLC returned to having the standard 3 new maps (the previous one only featured one). It was a great one and enjoyed my time with it just like everything Two Point puts out. The game still crashes from time to time but I don't think that's ever going to be fixed. I saw that this one was already added to the spreadsheet. 

 

Mafia III DLCs: I'm just going to group them together. All 3 of them were good. They are all separate mini stories within the main game with pretty much nothing to do with the main story. You get to unlock some cool new weapons and cars but a couple of the trophies require quite a lot of in-game money to spend on. They can be started any time after the first "sitdown", I believe. Personally I went with very late game, just before going after the final boss.

I just finished Hell Let Loose: DLC Pack 4, Basic Training, which requires one to jump into any, and then all classes in the practice range in the Training section of the game.  Wasn't difficult at all and took me about 15 minutes but could be done quicker. Not to bad for my 3rd DLC completion for this year's completion.
