DyrekRacc
This game arrived on PS Plus on May 7th. And on the Playstation YT channel, many people are not happy with Playstation Plus including this game. It was a great game, but why on earth did everyone dissing on that game?

If they are "many peoples" that aren't happy with PS PLUS new games that means they are 100% from reddit.

Popular Post Trumpet_Boi_208
I think maybe people also believe that these offerings are not worth the increased price tag of PS Plus, expecting something more AAA in scope, like a God of War or something along those lines. Combine this with the past few months being viewed as weak, and you have a recipe for overwhelmingly negative sentiment towards the PS Plus Essential offerings that aren't critically acclaimed masterpieces.
Pots3k
6 hours ago, DrBloodmoney said: Tunic has about as much in common with Souls games as Fifa has with a Dating Sim. I gotta disagree there dude. Tunic is rife with, in my opinion, misguided soulslike design. Yes it gets great when it turns into Spoiler The Witness but as someone who is also pretty over the soulsy formula, 80% of that game either bored or annoyed me. I wish the combat mechanics would have felt closer to the original Zelda game it was so obviously inspired by. Also I think that if you add "assist" mode options into a game that extend to straight up invincilbity, that's just an admission that you designed your game badly (from a combat perspective). It's nothing like a souls game. Like Phantom Hourglass, Link Between Worlds, Spirit Tracks, etc. Edited May 4 by Sendai-Horatio
Popular Post TheDarkKratos
Why do so many people say Freebies or free with their subscription service? It's not free. You're paying for a subscription to play those particular games. I see it almost every day on YouTube, and here on this site. If you're paying for something, then how can it be free. More like included with a subscription. As for this game - I want to play it. Looks like fun I guess. And it seems to be the most popular title included with Essential this month. Hmm... Popular Post DizzyDavidson
Ummm... because not everyone's into the same games/genres. Disclaimer: I actually think the game is good. 6 hours ago, DrBloodmoney said: Tunic has about as much in common with Souls games as Fifa has with a Dating Sim. So a whole lot? Hey man, if that's what you're into, no judgement here Tunic is a wonderful little game. No game is for everybody but it does exactly what it sets out to do and I seriously enjoyed my time with it when I played it on Xbox.

Probably opening up a can of worms but... Some people are never happy. Plus is what $80-160/year? At the low end, it costs $6-7 a month? 13-14 at the top tier? You pay for online access, extra sales discounts, the alternating "free" games, and access to the games/movies libraries at the upper tier. Most people complaining have unrealistic expectations for what a few dollars a month should get you.

I get that this is supposed to be for comedic effect and I agree with the intention to snap back at the idea this game is 'soulsy' because it isn't but... Tunic does still have a lot in common with Souls to some extent. Both games have the exact same game series heavily inspiring a lot of aspects many of which apply to both, they've not went the same thematic route but you can see the link quite clearly between these games. Meanwhile FIFA and Dating Sims are very much completely unrelated, unless it turns out EA were inspired in their design of FUT by dating, dumping loads of money on packs (dates) hoping to pull that perfect (goal)keeper . 2
