Popular Post StewartBros
#133 - Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath Shiny Moolah Get all other Trophies I've been a fan of the Oddworld series ever since Abe's Odyssee was released on PS1, so I'm honestly amazed that it's taken me until now to get around to playing Stranger's Wrath for the first time. I've heard many good things about it, yet there always seemed to be something more pressing to play, so Stranger's Wrath kept being relegated to the proverbial back seat. But, now that I'm finishing up my PS3 backlog, I finally decided to go for it. I did my first run on Hard, to get the 3 difficulty-related trophies and all story-related trophies out of the way, and then replayed it on Easy to get Mo Moolah and Free the Meat!, since I missed a few barrels during my Hard run. The game was a lot of fun from start to finish, with the only truly frustrating part being the fight against D Caste Raider and his goons on Hard... at least until I learned about the trick to making it much easier. Now I'm tempted to go back to Munch's Odyssee and replay that before I start trying to take down New N Tasty. Hopefully it won't be too much longer until the LONG-awaited Oddworld Soulstorm is upon us.

Popular Post Charizarzar
#88 Red Dead Redemption Legend of the West Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 Ignoring the time it's been sitting unfinished in my backlog, this didn't take as long as I thought even though I was also going for all DLC trophies. That was mainly thanks to boosting with a good group of people and a session leader who wanted us to make at least some progress every day. I was a bit worried about the poker trophies since I'm no good but even that wasn't too bad. The long list is a little daunting but this was pretty fun to 100%. I knew this game had a reputation for glitched or problematic servers but I had no issues other than occasional endless loading screens. I kinda rushed to get to rank 50 though, sat through more podcasts than I think I've ever listened to in my life. ? #89 Onrush ONRUSH Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 6/10 This got a bit repetitive towards the end because there were a lot of matches to get through, but was still pretty fun, especially 'switch' mode when playing online (have to survive for as long as you can while trying to take out enemy lives). Don't think I've played a racing type game post-PS2 so this made a nice change to the stuff I normally go for. It's an easy plat though there's one challenge that's frustrating when doing on your own, but really easy in co op (12 takedowns in one match). Definitely check this one out if you think it's something you might be into.
Popular Post PooPooBlast
# 116 Nier Automata EDIT: My write up spazzed out because I tried to be fancy by adding letters in square brackets like in the game LOL XD. One thing I learnt now after playing this and Steins;Gate is that when the title has a semicolon or colon you know it's going to be good . I remember playing the demo back when it just came out and all I can say is that, that demo was absolute garbage imo. Because of it, the game flew under my radar since then until I heard many recommendations about it and that's when I decided to buy it and give it a real shot and I am thankful to those who pushed me to try it because the demo doesn't do it justice. The story starts off convoluted as hell but it makes sense as you start to play and uncover new details and especially when you remember what a character said at a specific moment which really has no meaning until the plot detail unfolds as it sounds like normal dialogue and then you have that OoooooOOOHh AHAAA moment. . That was one thing I loved about this game. However, I don't know if this may have played a role but the moment I walked into the game and I knew that I had to sympathize with androids/ machines on an emotional level that's when it started to be a miss a little for me. I just cant bring myself to anthropomorphize non sentient beings or develop feelings towards them. I mean I was a little moved but imo it made me feel a little underwhelmed at times but I suppose that's just my personality. However, I attempted to focus on the underlying theme of the whole story rather or the bigger picture or the message they're trying to display and not so much on the androids/ machines themselves which brought me back into the game. Spoiler The entire story left me at the end with more to be desired tbh and I felt that I wasn't completely fulfilled but I respect this approach or these type of endings that not everything has to be 100% happy or not everything needs to feel like you accomplished something because literally after beating the game you're back to repeat the entire cycle so you didn't learn much besides humans are screwed and those androids and machines are just stuck in this cycle of life and death. Also honestly could've just been me hyping it inside of me too when I was nearing the ending due to the numerous religious name references and what have you so I was expecting sorta of a large reveal but there wasn't any real reveals. I felt that the story more or less finished when they told me that humanity was dead and that everything was a lie. I felt no real reason to continue besides learning why are the machines acting a certain way and to learn more about 9S and 2B. I was also low-key hoping for more twists and that there are humans in some form after all but there wasn't besides supposedly their genome being locked up somewhere. So what was left of the story was just about the androids which once again as above I couldn't really bring myself to invest emotionally that much because they're a hunk of metal, albeit sophiscated metals with feelings lol. And I mean this seems like a setback for them to be programmed with feelings as evidenced by how 9S just keeps finding the truth over and over and 2B having to kill him everytime and let me tell you, putting emotions into 2B just doesn't make sense if that's her job.. and it doesn't make sense from a resource perspective to keep building new models every time they're destroyed. One thing I do love though is how their blindfolds are a symbolic way of saying that they're living a lie because they can't see the truth and as for the operators their mouth are covered to show that they always spew lies to cover up the secret. And the ending credits were just fantastic! Spoiler lol my end message was like. "I bet you're having a tough time right now. If so, put your back into it you little #&$&# " Finally, story aside, I really loved the different environments and the music which brought them even more alive. The forest area, the desert ( unpopular opinion but I really hated the vocals in the desert because the same two 3 lyrics were like on repeat nonstop) and my favourite: the amusement park are just on point! As usual here's a selection of my favourite soundtracks! Also beware if you plan to visit the youtube page and read the comments for a reason as they're extremely spoilery so be aware! Spoiler I could listen to this on repeat and never get bored! One of the best moments seeing those robots twirl every second and throwing confetti around Here's the instrumental version if you just want the beat. lol couldn't find a better video Fits really well with the village. The manly voices tho! The become as gods and This cannot continue versions were just hilarious One of the best moments scaling that castle. That's a real spoiler here lol so be careful Spoiler 9S: sees 2B getting stabbed by A2. *Emil's song plays in the background* And this video here I managed to capture was favourite moment in the game Overall, had an incredible time with this one and those 54 or so hours were really well-spent. Journey was fantastic but the conclusion was just a little underwhelming. Edited December 27, 2018 by PooPooBlast

Popular Post rusty1027
Platinum #46 Eiyuu*Senki: The World Conquest The Master of the World I just kinda caved in and finally bought this game that I wanted because it's become clear that it will never, ever be discounted. It's the first time this year I've used my PS3, which will now rest for probably another year. I finished the game's true ending tonight after 100%'ing the game and obtaining all other trophies. This is an eroge, but all the porn was cut for the PS3 and Steam releases. But it's one of those eroge where you become so interested in the "ge" that you stop caring about the "ero". It's like Sengoku Rance or Kamidori in this way. The plot really picks up halfway through, and that's probably because, as one of its many similarities with Rance VII, the main plot takes a backseat to the side stories for a significant portion of the game. I think it's a real hidden gem for those who like anime JRPGs. Nobody ever mentions this game anywhere.

Popular Post FOOTBALLNUT
Sorry cause this is gonna be a very loooooooooong post #106 Evolve Platinum Trophy Obtain all other Trophies. Platinum on 18th December 2018 (3 months, 4 weeks, 18 hours) **********My Personal Gaming Enjoyment Experience********** "Evolve" is free on PlayStation Plus (S.E.Asia) this year and it is one of the Instant Games Collection line-up in February while I heard and saw the gameplay footage a few years back and I also know this is basically a 4 versus 1 multiplayer with either active players or A.I bots other than that I knew nothing about "Evolve". So I went in blind don't know what to expect cause the only thing I knew is I need to earn a few trophies before the servers shutdown on 3rd September. If not I'll probably won't bother take a second look at this game because there is no storyline and it's not my type of game I'll normally play but one thing I do know this game can be boosted in private match and that is why I came in for few "easy" ultra rare trophies. Where to start my gaming experience, hmm...since there is no story involve in this game but... Hey!...actually they do have a short clips showing how those hunters gathered together inside a spacecraft for debriefing before they been dispatch to some unknown planet to evacuate some colonies that station there cause for some unknown reason the planet is flooded with dangerous big monsters... I mean very, very, very big monster! Although "Evolve" doesn't have a plot but they do have some pretty cool gameplay...ugh, I mean soft of. Well...it started fresh cause I don't often play this kind of game then it became repetitive and later it became a grinding fest so it was no surprise that the ranking servers last just 3+ years. Since it's not my kind of game why I still play "Evolve"? "Ultra Rare Platinum Trophy" on "PSNProfile.com" is the reason behind my motive. Base on "PSNProfile.com" the percentage is at 1:38% over 100k owners as on "27th December 2018" and on PlayStation Network the percentage is even lower. Actually in my opinion, "Evolve" is time consuming rather than difficult cause all trophies can be earn in private match with minimum of 2 active player except few others trophies that require 3 to 4 player. Anyway I don't earn my trophy as it should be earn instead I join a gaming session from "PSNProfile.com" that is close to my gaming timing and we knock off most of the trophy that requires maximum player then the next session we knock off those requirements that is hard to do it "Alone" and for the rest of miscellaneous trophy that is not needed another active player I just grinds it through by myself. Besides boosting trophy with others gamer's most of my time is spend on grinding through 12 different hunters and 3 monsters mastery. Each individual Hunters and Monsters have 3 level of theirs own mastery challenges and each level have 3 different challenge to complete and I had to clear each Level mastery before moving to the next level. The 1st & 2nd level is pretty easy and can be done within 1 to 3 hours while some level 2 challenge can also took longer then expected but most of the level 3 mastery challenges took me 2 to 3 days to complete. Funny enough when I grinding through those challenges I did somehow begin to enjoy the game and it's challenges. Another obstruct path to my shiny platinum is to "Earn Gold in the Hunter and Monster Tutorial". Damn, monster time trial is the toughest of all in this game but I was lucky on my second try. Sadly, the platinum is unobtainable now due to closing of leaderboard servers and it doesn't affect all others trophies cause all can still be earn in private match except..."Instant Artist", that is to create and save the badge after customize in profile.from main menu. Dammit "2K", feel kind of suck when there is nothing to do with the gameplay in multiplayer. Well...that the way it is nowadays and thank you very much PlayStation Plus (S.E.Asia). Evolve Platinum Video #107 Ye've Done It “This day, you reach the end of a story,” she continues, “and the last of its paths.” Platinum on 18th December 2018 (3 weeks, 5 days, 18 hours) **********My Personal Gaming Enjoyment Experience********** YO AYE...same as everyone who is PlayStation Plus subscribers I also join in "Burly Men at Sea" bandwagon on November. It is pretty relaxing game as the story is short and can be completed in 10 to 15 minutes so are the platinum trophy that can also be easily achieved in 2 to 4 hours. The storyline is very simple and ordinary nothing exciting as the adventures with three bearded fishermen will set sail and go round and round until they find the true ending....."THE END"..... Wait! not so soon the adventures will still continue even the true ending have achieved. First time play a super damn short story and it has dozens of different path that will lead to different outcome but the ending is always same...pretty repetitive after few playthrough. There is no gameplay to share as this is basically a "Point & Click' game and there is only 3 to 4 button for me press during every playthrough less than any others "Telltale" game. True to be said, I don't buy games that have no replay value so honestly I won't even bother having a second look at this game on PlayStation Store unless it's is FREE. Can't said I enjoy this game but one thing I'm sure is I don't mind some easy trophy and most important without burning a hole my pocket. Popular Post Deadly_Ha_Ha
#17 - Kingdom Hearts It was my goal to achieve all the plats and 100%'s in the Kingdom Hearts series before Kingdom Hearts 3 comes out next month, and I saved the first for last and now have it done (0.2 and the cutscene games are on my other account because I want this one to only have games with plats). The game can be broken down into three parts for the platinum grind: Beginner mode for Unchanging Armor, Speedster, and Undefeated, post-game on that save for the actual grinding, and one quick Proud mode play through for the difficulty trophies. Infamously, when these collections first released on ps3 they did not have their difficulty trophies stack, so for every one that was a mandatory play through. Then they came to their senses and did away with that garbage on ps4 luckily. Difficulty - 6/10 Enjoyment - 8/10 I can't really ever hold much against this series, but Unchanging Armor is a trash requirement and makes the plat FAR less enjoyable. The grind on ps4 is way easier though than on ps3 which is nice, not like it would have mattered to me personally. Difficulty is up there for the Kingdom Hearts series, mostly because of Unchanging Armor making even Beginner mode kind of tough at the end, and Proud mode before you can get some significant level grinding in Halloween Town is also actually pretty demanding at times. Popular Post Conor
#16- SPYRO THE DRAGON (PS4) Gnasty's Demise Enjoyment: 7.5/10 Difficulty: 2/10 Time Taken: 1 Month, 2 Days, 23 Hours (8 hours of in-game time) Rarity: 9.8% Very Rare (PSN) / 54.36% Common (PSN Profiles) Hardest Trophy: Fly Like an Eagle (Gold)- Complete Icy Flight without touching the ground Here we go again... Since it was announced, I was very excited for the Reignited Trilogy. The old Spyro was a huge part of my early gaming days and I was always hoping he'd make a comeback one day. Thanks to Toys For Bob, Spyro has been gloriously brought back in a gorgeous update, complete with Tom Kenny voicing the scaly boy once more. I must admit that out of all the original Spyro games, I have the least amount of nostalgia for the very first one, simply because it was actually the last one out of the original trilogy that I played. It felt very simplistic and primitive compared to the following games so it was also my least favourite, although I did beat it once as a kid and then again on the PSP as a downloaded PSOne classic in the run-up to the Trilogy's release. Honestly, although I do like the update, the game is still decent but not spectacular in my opinion, but well worth playing all the same. My favourite part was the unique designs of all the dragons and how they were thematically linked to the world you were in. TFB's attention to detail is wonderful. My most major complaint would be the performance of the game- a wee bit of stuttering every now and then. Otherwise, although quick and easy, it was still a nice little game to plat in order to take a break from Kingdom Hearts.
