Popular Post No longer here
#119 - Control (PS5) 4/10 Difficulty 8.5/10 Fun PSNP Rarity: 32.98% PSN Rarity: 4.2% Honestly a very fun game with fun gameplay and story was interesting to get into. Will play DLC at some point. #120 - Resident Evil 3 3/10 Difficulty 8.5/10 Fun PSNP Rarity: 37.89% PSN Rarity: 8.3% Another fun resident evil game after RE2. This game is more combat driven and cinematic but overall a fun experience. I recommend this fully. #121 - Persona 5 Strikers 4/10 Difficulty 9/10 Fun PSNP Rarity: 21.24% PSN Rarity: 4.2% This game is a fun sequeal to the original Persona 5. The combat is different from the turn-based combat but overall plays well. The story and characters are still great including the new ones as well. Whether you played Persona 5 or Persona 5 Royal, this game is legitimate as a sequel and fan service all around. I now have the plats for P5, P5R and P5S!! #122 - Immortals: Fenyx Rising (PS5) 4/10 Difficulty 9/10 Fun PSNP Rarity: 32.13% PSN Rarity: 6.8% Definitely one of the better Ubisoft titles for sure. This game has surprised me with its combat, humorous story and puzzles, and I mean that in the best way possible! This is pretty much the closest we will get to Zelda, and I am glad we were given this instead because it is still really fun! Will play the DLC soon for sure! Some of these games were challenging in their own right when it came to their mechanics, but overall had fun in all of them! Proud to have these in my collection!

Eagle
Platinum #9 – Assassin's Creed: Revelations A nice closure to the Ezio trilogy. In my opinion, it's the weakest game of the three, as most people seem to agree, but that doesn't mean it's bad - it had a really strong competition. It amazes me that they managed to turn a 3DS game into this over the course of a year. Next for me is gonna be Resident Evil. My trophy checklist, if you wanna see a longer review. Omelette Paradise
#463 - Demon Hunter: Revelation Another Artifex Mundi game in the books and I'm back to having a complete set of their platinum trophies again. Another enjoyable one with the usual mix of HOP's, minigames and very nicely drawn scenes. Enjoyment: 8/10 Difficulty: 2/10
Popular Post voodoo_eyes
#538 - Hitman Blood Money (PS3) Gameplay-wise it still holds up pretty well. What doesn't hold up are the clunky controls, especially fiddling corpses so that they don't stop the door from closing. The series definitely has evolved since then, these games are still worth a playthrough though. Enjoyment: 7 Difficulty: 5

postofficebuddy
Platinum #146: Riddled Corpses Ex (PS4) Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 A very fun twin stick shooter. This is the most fun I’ve had with a game in this genre since ‘I ma3d a gam3 with Zombies in it’. Anyone remember that classic? It may seem overwhelming at first but as you level your characters up the stages get much much easier. Arcade mode can be quite difficult if you’re not using Erica but if you are just try to make it through the first 3 stages using as few special items as possible. At that point you should have enough money to buy the maximum number of health ups and special items for the last 3 stages and you can just spam them to get out of dangerous situations.
Popular Post Phoenix_argentea
Platinum trophy No. 216! 夜廻 (Yomawari: Night Alone) 夜廻 (The Night Alone) A nice and short survival horror game, where you are a little girl, who wanders at night in a town full of ghosts and mosters ready to kill you! The story is also nice (and in the sequel, Midnight Shadows, is even better!) and a single run requires 10-15 hours (even for reaching the 100%, which means pick up every single collectible scattered in the town). But there's a very stupid trophy, the Long Night trophy, where you have to play for 50 hours this short game! So, rub the stick of your Vita and wait patiently until this trophy pops up! What else? Even if the game is Japanese (so I can stack a double platinum! ), I had no problem, since I already knew what I had to do in every chapter. Finally, the platinum screenshot with cats! ?

Popular Post Undead Wolf
#350 - Star Ocean: Till The End Of Time Reach Transcendence Unlock all trophies. After 3 months, and somewhere in the ballpark of 150-200 hours in-game time, I finally have the platinum! I can safely say at this point that it's one of the best PS2-era JRPG's I've played with its great story (and really cool twists), loveable cast of characters, fun gameplay, etc. It really exemplifies why I'm so fond of the JRPG genre. While I think the battle system itself is a lot more refined in SO4, I did get a kick out of using the item creation system to deck out my party with crazy good gear to compliment their playstyles. You certainly need it for the post-game challenges. As for the trophy list itself, mercifully, you only need 80% of the BT's in this game, and there aren't as many/as grindy as the ones in SO4. But as you can see from my play time, it's not exactly a quick plat either. ? Most of that play time came from pretty much fully completing the game (including the post-game) two times over; once on Galaxy difficulty and the other on Universe. This was for BT-related reasons as there are difficulty-specific ones. A third playthrough is also needed on the 4D difficulty, but by this point, I knew the game like the back of my hand, so it went by pretty fast. There's also this incredibly tedious trophy for winning a certain amount from betting on the bunny races, but thanks to my turbo controller, this wasn't a big deal as I could just leave the game running for a couple of days to rack up the wins. This was a great experience overall and I look forward to playing the other Star Ocean games. ?

Popular Post DesmaBR
Platinum #133 True Phantom Thief Earned all trophies. In a way, this is basically a Persona 5 version of The Answer from Persona 3 It's a sequel to the events of the original game, and it doesn't have social links/confidants. They're also both similar as in they're a fucking disgrace, God, I haven't felt this angry about a game in years. Fuck this stupid ass game. It's kinda hard to really shit on a game like this because it's the kind of game that you're gonna know if you'd wanna play it or not. Personally, I wasn't that interested in the game, I was very bummed out by how the story turned out in Persona 4 Arena, and Atlus releasing a Persona 3 Dancing game of all things. Y'know, the game where that certain someone dies? haha look at them moooooves But knowing myself, I knew I would end up playing this eventually, so fuck it, I'll just buy it know lmao. ... First things first, this game is hideous. Here's a screenshot of Persona 5 Royal Now here's a screenshot of Strikers Like holy shit, I haven't played a game where I straight up did not wanna look at it. The whole game just feels off, everything you look look like shit compared to the original game. Eventually you do get used to it, but the first hours or so, yeesh. The game itself it's fine, it's an Action RPG made by people who make those Musou games. It's way more similar to P5 than you'd think ... Would've been better as a musou, honestly. But it's enjoyable I guess, not my cup of tea. All the P5 features feel tacked on here. But the real problem here is the story. It stinks, it makes me irrationally angry, but it's the kind of stuff that's hard to explain without giving spoilers. So I'll just focus on two things. 1º Problem: The game is weirdly concerned with not spoiling the events of the first game. Makes sense, y'know. Strikers is the only Persona 5 game on Switch and PC, so I can understand that they'd make it approachable to newcomers. Heck, good idea for those who wanted to play P5, but don't wanna play that stupid "turn based" game. ... But they done in a way that makes no sense. These are not your favorite characters from the hit videogame "Persona 5", these are aliens disguising as them. Ann does not mention Shiho once. That's fucking creepy. The characters being gross oversimplification of them in these Persona sequels, but at least they have their backstories on them. Everyone just feels wrong here. But that pales in comparison to the real issue 2º Problem: Persona 5 Royal did whatever this game tried to do so much better So apparently Royal and Strikers were developed at the same time, and apparently there was no communication between the two studios. Which is a bummer, but it's ok. I would've liked the new characters from that game to be here, but what can you do? ... But an interesting thing here is that the new story in Royal and the story in Strikers are very similar, they were both trying to make the antagonists more sympathetic. Which I think makes a lot of sense, the villains in Persona 5 were quite frankly, cartoon'y villains, they were irredeemably evil. And that was the point, you weren't supposed to care about them, because the game wasn't about them. Persona 5 is arguably one of the most cynical and depressing games out there, because it was so desperately calling for attention towards itself. And that was important for the game to convey it's message, a very important message in this day and age. Yes, there was some very contrived, baffling and stupid shit that happens in that game, but it was necessary for the game to hit those notes. Sure, you could definitely done that without being the most stupid game out there, but game development is haaaard. Especially for a game that was trying to convey THAT message. A very hard thing to convey... and still be in Super Smash Bros. So for a sequel, it'd make sense to make the villains more like sympathetic, that would be the natural evolution. And golly gee, doesn't the new semester hit you like a truck? The character traumas in that made a lot of sense, they felt like stuff that could really happen to your everyday person, and they tied nicely to their motivations and how the plot unfolded. Sure, there's lots wrong with it, but it was a great addition to the game. In Strikers, there's one character with a backstory so goddamn ridiculous that I've just started laughing when I saw that. The game really pulled a Sword Art Online on me, smh. And none of their backstories tie in to the main plot, they could've be as evil as last time and the plot would be the exact same. Which makes it that obnoxious when they just shove their trauma up your face. Why do I need to fight the ghost of their trauma!? Why is "they used my name to sell stuff" a trauma!? GROW THE FUCK UP The only reason for them to have sad backstories and shit is so the Phantom Thieves can say "They weren't as evil as last time". I swear, every time someone spoke in this game, I could hear that certain someone screaming SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP God, I wish he were here. Would make no sense, but would make it more enjoyable. Fuck this game. I actually ended up just skipping the cutscenes at the end. I try to watch the cutscenes of every game, no matter how boring they can be, but I couldn't stomach for this. I have a blast with this game from start to finish just like I did with Riddled Corpses EX, now I just need to try and beat the other game they have on the store Xenon Valkyrie+ without sucking so badly! Popular Post yellowwindow7
Knack: The Ultimate Invention / KNACK 2 BAAABYYYYYYY! i was having this game on my PS Plus Library for quite a while and decided to give it a shot and i likes it. i never played the first game before i heard it was one of the worst ps4 exclusive... don't shoot me, i just heard this from my friends and people online but i have to play it myself one day to judge it, though i heard Knack 2 was a better game it didn't set the world on fire and still rated kinda lower than any ps4 exclusives but it did rated higher than the first game. they did say it was inspired by the classic crash bandicoot and such but gameplay wise it felt more like being a kiddie god of war game than a crash bandicoot, heck they even brought the god of war writer to do the story, the human characters and the goblins are kinda boring and uninteresting to me but knack himself is a very interesting character, i like how the goblin enemies think they're so tough when they seen little knack, but get on the defense when he's about their size and tries to run for their lives when knack is giant, but the robot type don't have feelings and fight knack till the end regardless his size, that's a good touch. i can't speak about the difficulty if it's harder than the already insanely difficult first game or not as i played Knack 2 at the highest difficulty possible across the entire game from start to finish, and i can't say stuff like the game is cheap and you get killed in two hit's most of the time since i choose the highest difficulty myself. graphically from what i saw it was a bit downgraded in comparison to the first game, Knack 1 used to show knack's reflections on glasses and glossy surfaces and walls and it was so colorful, in knack 2 they got rid of the reflections ( i believe it was called screen spacing? ) and the graphics looks slightly bland, but i like the effect of all of knack's parts filled the ground when you switched to little knack, it was so cool to look at all the parts scattered all over the place as you kick the parts all over the floors without any of them disappearing. remember that old ps4 teach demo where it shows millions of small blue polygonic cubes fall on a 3D environment and cover it? it seems someone decided to add that tech into the knack games and it shows, though the downgraded graphics is probably to play it safe due to the mixed receptions toward the first game, they don't want to waste too much resources into a new graphics and works on improving the gameplay instead. trophies wise you really don't even need a guide, if you're collecting the parts through the game you will gonna make a scanner that will tell you the location of the treasure boxes as the game is very linear so you don't need to get worrying exploring a huge areas for secrets or anything like that, and you don't even need to get all the challenge medals, you just need 70 medal out of 143 or something and move on, the time attack and the coliseum is far too easy especially with the saber knack. now that sadly Japan Studio is no more, thanks a lot new Sony ? the possibility for KNACK 3 BABYYY!!! is no more... seriously, no one have asked for a knack 2 in the first place but it happen, and i actually likes it. Knack is Love! Knack is Life!
Popular Post Ode2Destruxion
The Last of Us Part II (PS4) #43 Every Last One of Them The Last of Us Part II was truly incredible. You will have no doubt read a lot about it so I won't go on much but I was just absolutely astonished as to the amount of detail that went into the game. In my opinion it pushed the PS4 as far as it can be pushed, and utilised its capability to its complete maximum. So I played through it on very light difficulty but with no gameplay modifiers on so that I still got the full experience - just an easier one. I have no shame in that, I'm not usually a horror gamer so I didn't want to be needlessly shitting my pants throughout - more so than what was necessary anyway. I had played through the first one remastered and loved it so when I saw this on sale for £15 I couldn't really refuse it. After one playthrough I was still short on all of the collectibles and upgrades (which is normal) so I knew there was a second playthrough on the horizon. Luckily I joined the party late and the extra DLC (including new trophies) came out last year so I could integrate them into further playthroughs. Much to my dismay though I noticed the DLC trophies were to complete the game on Permadeath and a separate one for completing the game on the added 'Grounded' difficulty. Cripes. The platinum isn't really good enough without the 100% so I was going to have to really give this a good go. I needn't have worried. I don't mind bending the rules to collect the trophies if I need to, as long as I've completed the game legit first. So I did some research looking for help and found out that along with the DLC came added Cheats that you could unlock after the game for a bit of extra fun (one hit kills, unlimited supplies etc.) - only catch is they were locked on Permadeath and Grounded. Well someone had found a way to pick the lock and all is explained in a YouTube video... Bish bash bosh - cheats activated and trophies gained as easy as pie. Even if very time consuming gathering all of the many collectibles and completing the playthroughs. 9/10
Popular Post BlackSnake1435
Platinum #55 Mass Effect 2 Enjoy: 10/10 Difficulty: 5/10 As I said before, I enjoyed the first one way too much, but this one was even better. I liked most of the characters on how the paragon and renegade points work, as well as the choices. Also, I liked that you could import data from the first game and continue the story as it was, sadly, I couldn't see Ashley again, and I guess it will be the same for the third one. Besides, the optimization in this installment was much, much better, and didn't like the optimization in ME1, it ran way too slow at times. Now, lets move on to ME3.
