Difficulty = 2/10 Time = "2 hours" I would play this legit.... but the controls are clunky, no 60 fps, etc. Ill have an eye on the sequel tho, looks cool.
Popular Post sona_11
#111 PERSONA 5 STRIKERS True Phantom Thief Enjoyment : 3/10 Platinum : 5/10 Oh god, I have sooo many things I want to say about this game but I know my English is gonna fail me. First, the story of this game is nothing special or different than the last one. People do things "immorally" = PT change their hearts. The only chapter that piqued my interest just a little bit was the second for the writer. Since I'm a writer myself, I could understand the fear of that person. The fear that not many people would like to read your book no matter how hard you work on it. Aside from that, I didn't enjoy a single thing in this game. The game felt so shallow and empty and so liner. There is no mini-game, no confidence, no nothing. I mean it's not like they couldn't implement these things, but they didn't want to bother themselves because they know the game will sell. I mean in the second chapter they could let us play some mini-games at the festival. In the beach chapter, they could let us play maybe beach volley or smash a watermelon or something. I understand were their story is coming from. Like in the future people will stick to their phones and ask for help from an AI and all but I don't think they explain it or applied it in a way that makes it more interesting ?! that's what I think anyway. The final boss was just a duplicate of the previous one, story-wise. Also, Emma? Promised Land? *cough* Promised Neverland *cough* coincidence ? I don't think so Also, one of the thing that made my cringe so hard was the replicated scene of the hot spring they took from Persona 3. The scene was not exactly funny the first time, why did they think it would be funny this time !! There is also that scene when they didn't bother to show Makoto's sister, I was like "why? just why?" I should thank this game for making me hate musou game from the depth of my heart. Playing it was such a chore, there was no strategy, no tactics no nothing. And I HATE how they make a complete dialogue during an effing boss fight !! Like am I supposed to read the dialogue, focus on the boss or listen to Futaba's instructions ?? and the fact that the music's sound is higher than theirs doesn't help at all Every time I play a person 5 game I realize how naïve these kids are, and I don't like it. I hope they stop milking this part and start making P6 with maybe a college protagonist for a change.

Popular Post MissShake
#57: The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince My Truest Self You obtained all trophies! A fun little puzzle platformer! I enjoyed the storybook aesthetic, the story itself was really cute, and the ost was pretty good. To top it off, the trophy list is pretty simple. I did have some trouble with the trophies that required you to speedrun it or have you beat a level while killing no enemies, but with a bit of practice these become a lot easier. If you're looking for a filler game to have in between milestones, than I definitely think you could do worse than Liar Princess and Blind Prince!
Popular Post arcanehornet_
Platinum #331~ Zombie Army 4: Dead War This was a super fun zombie shooter to play in coop with friends. It’s made by the same people who made Sniper Elite, so if you liked those games and Zombie Army trilogy, you’re sure to love this. This game improves on basically everything from Zombie Army Trilogy, and mostly gives you more ways to murder more zombies It’s free on PS Plus right now, so if you got 3 other friends who like third person shooters, there’s no harm in trying this. About the plat: It’s easy, but slightly grindy. First off, I recommend finishing the campaign with 3 others on Hard while grabbing all collectibles. This takes cares of a lot of the trophies in this game. Getting mastery on 3 weapons is a bit grindy, but I recommend using the M1911 pistol, Thompson SMG, and M44 to make this essentially a piece of cake to complete. Then there’s horde mode, which was boring as hell. You need to survive till wave 12 on each map, and there is also a trophy for surviving 144 waves in total. Easy, but really boring. The big grindy trophy in this game is for reaching Rank 100, but this isn’t as bad as it sounds. Here’s an easy way to get this trophy: Select mission 1 chapter 2, easy difficulty, 4 player settings. There is a challenge in this mission for getting 75 explosive kills, so try to get close to that while you advance the level. Once you reach the objective which tells you to clear platform 2 of zombies, you’ll be in front of a massive horde of zombies, and will get a checkpoint. Now all you have to do is chuck a grenade in the horde, which simultaneously should complete the challenge I mentioned earlier and net you 1000 XP. Now all you have to do is reload the checkpoint, and keep completing the challenge over and over again. By the time you’re done with everything else, you’ll probably be around level 50, so from that point it will probably take 6-7 hours to reach Rank 100. Good luck! Put a video on in the background and you’ll get through it no problem. Fun: 8/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Time: 30-40 hours
Popular Post preciseRNG
#50 Final Fantasy VII Remake Master of Fate 18.93% Rare Like a lot of people I feel this game has a lot of pros and also cons. It's a remake, yeah and therefore I like they do not stick 100% to the path of the original. The graphics look decent, the flashbacks of the old soundtracks are there and the fights are a lot of fun. It did not feel as nostalgic as I hope it would. I am not a huge fan of playing chapter by chapter and still prefer random encounters overall (but I understand why this isn't a thing). Also having to play the story twice (even if you can skip cutscenes) feels a bit boring and hard difficulty was indeed a real challenge at some points. Also disabling items on hard and the tedious MP management is a bit dull since you can saveload MP boxes if you need to. At this point I want to shoutout to @Optinooby for some great explained guides and boss strategies on his YT, keep it up!

Popular Post Conor
#98- SAINTS ROW: GAT OUT OF HELL [PS3] Scorched Savior Collect all other Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell trophies Enjoyment: 7/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Playthroughs: 1 Time: 1 month, 1 week, 6 days / 23 hours in-game Rarity: 1.3% Ultra Rare (PSN) / 14.85% Rare (PSNProfiles) Challenge: The King of Hell- Complete ALL of the Challenges I do love the Saints Row series, having started with the original GTA clone back in 2006 on the Xbox 360. The series has changed a lot over the years, becoming more zany and even obviating the need for cars entirely from Saints Row IV. Having stopped the Zin menace in the previous title, the Boss/ President gets sucked into Hell itself by Alistair Crowley's ouija board, prompting Johnny Gat and Kinzie Kensington to follow their leader and free him from Satan's grip and prevent his forced marriage to Jezebel. Along the way, the pair encounter deceased characters starting with Dane Vogel, the nefarious Ultor executive and the deWinter sisters, alongside William Shakespeare, Blackbeard and Vlad Tepes. There are many great ideas here both narratively and gameplay-wise, but I don't think they were properly developed. I get that this was a smaller-scale title but there are some things that really bring it a step or two down from the last few games. Retaining the super sprint from the previous game, Johnny and Kinzie can also fly and use various supernatural powers to combat the forces of Satan. Hell itself bears a passing resemblance to Stillwater of the first two games. Instead of regular story missions, you complete challenges and side missions to progressively enrage Satan before incurring his wrath and attacking his palace. It is not a very interesting way to advance the story but mercifully it is very short. The dowside is that post-story there are a lot of challenges to grind including weapon and power kills, spawning certain powerful enemies and killing them as well as getting golds in all activities. Nothing is too taxing but it takes up the bulk of your play time. One very annoying trophy in particular requires you to hit five vehicles in a row in Fraud without touching the ground which is extremely luck based; it only took me about a half hour of practice but I also got very lucky with how some trucks aligned. Overall a decent experience but not exactly on par with Saints Row: The Third or even IV. With rival gangs, evil corporations, an alien invasion and the Devil himself conquered, I'm not sure where there is to go for future installments. I know that Agents of Mayhem is a sort-of sequel but not a true Saints Row game. Still, good to have all of the PS3 platinums. I'll get around to the PS4 remasters at some point in the future.
Popular Post Deadly_Ha_Ha
/ 100% # 43 - Borderlands 2 Difficulty - 4/10 Enjoyment - 9/10 First I have to start by giving a major, major shoutout to @Keyser Soze for being an absolute legend and helping me with the raid bosses and giving me some important loot. But as for the game itself, I don't even really know where to start. I played BL2 on PC years ago with my friends and it was a blast. I have a really specific short-term plan for my account and I decided that I'd add BL2 to the front of my queue honestly because it has 76 trophies and I'm trying to make a certain plat my 2,000th trophy so I needed the boost. Anyway, I started playing it and I just could not believe how much fun I was having with it. It legit took me time to realize that I haven't loved playing a non-Kingdom-Hearts game to such a degree in a long time. I haven't played Borderlands 3 yet, but having played the original on PS3 and the Pre-Sequel on PC, I can safely say that this game is so far ahead of the other games in this series it's insane. The humor, the gunplay, the characters, the story, everything fits in the most uniquely perfect way that just very few other games can claim to do. Between the main game plat and the whatever four or five dlc lists, I just never got tired of it. I'll admit that Hammerlock's dlc and the Fight for Sanctuary especially did not jive with me though. Hammerlock's which is the third dlc just felt stale and like their hearts really weren't in it, and it also had two of the most awful quests in the entirety of the experience. The Fight for Sanctuary dlc which is the last one and was released alongside BL3 really tanked the experience, but I don't hold it against BL2 for that, I more associate it with BL3. The story and some of the voice acting didn't do it for me and I wished they'd have just left well enough alone with the game after the Tiny Tina dlc which is perfect and surprisingly emotionally impactful. Borderlands 2 really does a good job of being that funny game that it presents itself as, but contains a depth of character which makes poignant moments feel justified. Anyway, the best I can say for the experience is that, after a month and a day of a base plat and five dlc's, I am just not done with the game. I'll still be playing this, either on PS4 with my friends or on PC for better patches and performance, as well as easier builds. No other game that I've done on this account except for Kingdom Hearts games, no matter how much I enjoyed them, lasted any longer than that last trophy pop; BL2 will though.

Popular Post Undead Wolf
#353 - Killzone Platinum Collect all trophies in Killzone This is one of those PlayStation exclusive franchises I've known about forever but never got around to playing... until now. I was under the impression that these games took themselves super seriously, so I was surprised to find this game was full of cheesy dialogue and characters who made it feel like a borderline parody. Not that it's a bad thing mind you, because I did quite enjoy the story for what it was. It's a game that's definitely a bit rough around the edges. I would like to play the sequels just to see how much things were improved, but unfortunately those platinums aren't obtainable, so it looks like this will be my only exposure to the series for now. I'm still hoping for some PS4/PS5 remasters at some point. The platinum for this one was quite easy, although there definitely were a few annoying sections on the hard difficulty, made worse due to the poor checkpoint system. Nothing I'd really call difficult though. It was a bit tedious/repetitive having to do 4 playthroughs (1 as each character), but thankfully the levels are quite short when you know what you're doing.

Popular Post rjkclarke
Platinum #317 The Bard's Tale (PS4) Master Bard Unlocked all Trophies! I'm going to paraphrase a line from one of my favourite TV shows to describe the hidden gem aspect of this game which is "I'm going to unearth you, for the world to see." Wow, that probably comes across very pretentious, so apologies in advance haha, I'm not suggesting I have power over the world or influence over what anybody sees or reads obviously, just the notion that this game truly is a hidden gem that absolutely deserves to be unearthed. I mean this game has under 5,000 owners, which seems a shame to me The Bard's Tale or perhaps I should give it its full title The Bard's Tale: Remastered and Resnarkled is a game I never expected to get the remaster treatment, I would have thought that even in 2004 this game was fairly niche. This is probably why the Original Xbox version is the only remaining Original Xbox game left on my shelf whilst all the others live in the loft, I always really loved how much this game is absolutely brimming with charm! (Also Remastered and Resnarkled sounds better to be honest but I have a theory as to why it isn't listed like that.) I was actually fairly apprehensive about playing this because I was a little worried that the passage of time would have changed my view on this game. It didn't for the most part, I just found this time around the gameplay was perhaps a little more repetitive than I remembered it being. That might be my fault though to be fair, I was often playing this for quite long periods of time. I know on the cover image it still says The Bard's Tale: Remastered and Resnarkled, but in the trophy list it doesn't, I wonder if that was done because the game isn't really a remaster? I thought might have been to avoid backlash because whilst it has been polished in places this really is more like a port than a remaster, in a similar manner to how Jedi Knight II and Jedi Academy are more or less just ports. Just a theory though, I can live with it, after all to be able to play games that you used to love and stick them on your trophy list is awesome! You would have to be pretty miserable to poke too many holes in that, its still better than having none at all I think. I'll not mention the story because it is genuinely really funny, and although this game is nearing eighteen years old now, I'm sure some people might like it to remain spoiler free in case it is in their backlog or something, if it is you should experience it for yourself. I will mention a few storyish things though, like character and voice performances. The actual writing of the characters and the voice performances of this game are one of the areas where it really shines very brightly. I suppose they had to, back in 2004 you couldn't rely on cutscenes that have detailed facial animations so the voice performances and how the characters themselves are written had to be really memorable. I think this is one of the reasons David Hayter has garnered such a huge fanbase for his portrayal of Solid Snake. I actually mentioned Legacy of Kain in my last post in this thread, this game actually features a cast reunion of sorts with Simon Templeman (Kain) Tony Jay (The Elder God) and Michael Bell (Raziel) in various roles. Tony Jay is the Bard's Tales narrator and he is an outstanding actor anyway, whether that was live action or voiced but he really sounds as if he's having fun with the dialogue here. ( I think sometimes you ABSOLUTELY CAN tell when the actors are doing it just for a payday.) If you can't quite think of the name immediately he was Frolo in the Disney Hunchback of Notre Dame film, ironically his voice is something I more associate with sternness and rigidity, but a lot of his sarcastic and sardonic line deliveries genuinely made me crack up and laugh out loud more than once. The Bard, is voiced by Cary Elwes who I guess most of us know from The Princess Bride and also does a very good job considering he's playing an arsehead as far as characters go. I actually think The Bard skating a line between likeable and unlikeable is actually realised quite well here, because of its light hearted and comedic tone you never really question his actions too much. You could maybe make the argument that he behaves a bit like a horny teenager, but then this game also came out on the same console generation that had a Playboy Mansion game so y'know maybe they were playing off of that, the game does slip into being very self referential and meta-textual so perhaps it was a deliberate decision. There actually isn't a whole lot that I can really say about the gameplay to this game. In a way its beautifully simplistic, but I think probably too simplistic. Its one of those things where you get into an almost mindless routine of doing almost all of the game a specific way, with the same few summons, because they often turn out to be the best ones. The loot system however, is honestly one of the more interesting ones I have seen, just because of how ridiculously addictive it gets seeing your weird and innocuous loot like seashells, underwear and diaries get transformed immediately into silver. I found myself picking up loot, long after I needed silver in the game just to see what it was and hear that satisfying sound as it became money straight away. I don't personally have a Vita, not yet anyway, I might get one at some point. Bard's Tale is available on Vita though and part of me thinks playing it in a pick up and play sort of fashion might be one of the more enjoyable ways to play this. The game itself is like I mentioned previously very simple so it would probably be a nice chilled out experience to just play for an hour or two after a hard day for some light relief. In a game where a musical focus is very prominent you would expect the OST and Sound Design elements to stand out, and yes they really, REALLY do! There is a really hilarious reoccurring element with the music where a group of Trow's periodically show up and sing hilarious songs about where The Bard has been or where he is going next in the style of the Oompa Loompa's from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Those have always been one of the things I remembered most fondly about this game, there are plenty of similarly funny songs in the tavern, it truly is one of the reasons this game is just brimming with charm. I had an absolute blast getting the platinum in this even if I did have the odd criticism about repetitive gameplay, its still fun gameplay nonetheless. Bard's Tale however, is one of those games where it does have console commands which can quicken your time to platinum the game, but honestly, I wouldn't use them because you'll end up probably skipping whole dungeons, quests, area's and most importantly DIALOGUE. But if anybody decided to grab a quick platinum that way, they would at least have a load of absolutely gorgeous looking trophy tiles though, that's always nice right? I don't think that's just me haha. Bard's Tale's story really is quite a joy, its simple but its always very funny. There is a slight caveat to that though, I guess the humour might not be universal though, it has quite British humour, some of the Scottish and Irish accents are just straight up stereotypes though, which could potentially be grating for people from that neck of the woods, I'd usually say whether or not I would recommend this its patently obvious I loved it. But I'm just one person, so yes I would, but if anybody were to play it, go in with the right mindset and don't expect it to be something that it isn't. If you like very old school RPG's this would probably be right up your street, Baldur's Gate fans might enjoy it too, but they probably will have played this version already back in 2004 like I did. If you wanted a very relaxing light-hearted 15ish hours Platinum this might be your thing too, its one I think you have to have at least some vested interest in already, so I feel like its a bit tough to recommend it. I'm sure in one of the Metal Gear Solid games Snake describes himself as a "Relic from a bygone era" I might be completely misremembering that, but I feel like "Relic from a bygone era" is almost the perfect way to describe this game. Popular Post madbuk
#416 - Dynasty Warriors 6 Empires After playing multiple Warriors spin-offs (One Piece 1/2, DQH1/2, Persona 5 Strikers), I figured it was about time to finally try out a main entry, and this one was the earliest with trophies so I figured it'd be the best starting point. A short way into it, someone told me that... Empires was not in fact a great representation of the regular DW games, because it has a heavy emphasis on strategy and simulation and making your own story, whereas apparently the normal ones are more linear and more story-focused. So perhaps I'll try 7 sometime in the future as well. This game does an awful job at being approachable for complete newcomers. There were no tutorials anywhere to be found, and I had no idea what I was doing for the first few hours, even with the trophy guides. Eventually I figured out how simulating it works, and someone taught me that the game has a block button - would've been nice if the game had told me that - so the early missions became so much easier once armed with that knowledge. After the initial hurdle of the first few events you become so overpowered that blocking becomes a waste of time though. One big thing I liked about this game compared to One Piece and Dragon Quest is that there was nothing literally gating your progress through a stage. So many times in DQH/OPPW (especially OPPW) you'd be standing still in front of a door waiting for all the dialogue to end just so it'll open and let you advance. Overall I wasn't a fan of the strategy/simulation/random events nature of this game, so I don't think I'll ever be playing 7 Empires or 8 Empires, because that seems to be the main core of the Empires games. I hope regular 7 will be more to my tastes.
Popular Post Cal
#49 Zombie Army 4: Dead War This was a fun little game needed something a bit more straight forward as I have been playing a lot of games with open world aspects in them. Fun game but can get a bit repetitive best off playing with a group of people, wasn't a fan of how some guns you have to pay for instead of you know...playing the game and unlocking them remember when games did that? I did really like how each campaign had it's own little movie poster inspired by the late 70s and early 80s style, would hang them up on my wall if I could and the trophies titles are full of references to zombie films. Shooting a zombie in the head or nuts never got old.
Popular Post JourneySilvers
Atelier Firis ~The Alchemist and the Mysterious Journey~ ~ The Alchemist's Mysterious Journey ~ ~ ~ I love the Atelier franchise to death and I'm going to try plat-ing all the games. Now, Atelier Firis is NOT one of the more fun games in the franchise. I actually feel like they took out a lot of what I enjoy about the franchise in order to experiment with the game, which is fine, since it was just for this one entry. All of the games have a bit of a twist or gimmick to them, this one just happened to be... an open world, which was more tedious to travel than it was exciting. Unlocking the airship (which provides actual fast travel) should've been done way before post game. Going back and forth across entire maps for quests made the game such a slow slog to get through. That being said, I do love Firis and the rest of the characters. Seeing all the character endings was easily the best part of the game for me. I don't regret playing the game at all, but I'm definitely looking forward to spending more time on the other franchise entries. ?
