Popular Post Undead Wolf
Platinum #124 Resident Evil 5 RESIDENT EVIL 5 Platinum Trophy Congratulations! You've overcome all your fears in RESIDENT EVIL 5! There's a lot of mixed feelings about this game. It seems like most of the old school RE fans hate this game with a passion for bringing the series further away from survival horror, as it instead focuses on action and co-op. Then there's the other side, usually people who never got into the old RE games who think that RE5 is great and they love the introduction of co-op. I sit somewhere in the middle. I'm a huge fan of the old Resident Evil games, from RE1-RE4. They were some of my favourite games growing up, and this definitely isn't even close to being one of my favourite games in the series, but it's certainly not bad. It's a different kind of Resident Evil, and I think that's okay. I'll take fixed camera angles, ammo conservation and tank controls over this game any day of the week, but I can't deny that it's fun in its own right. I wasn't quite as forgiving to this game back in the day, but considering we live in a time where Resident Evil 2 Remake is a thing, I see now that the existence of this game doesn't make the classic experiences I love go away (they just went on a long hiatus). It's a damn fine co-op game, and while not the RE experience I crave for, there's still fun to be had. Assuming you bring along a partner that is... The AI can go burn in the fiery depths of hell. I'm sure the experience wouldn't of been anywhere near as enjoyable if not for my friend, Redgrave. Thanks for putting up with me! Popular Post Hertz
Another backlog done... Yay~~~ Anyway Platinum #19 Enjoyment: 8/10 Difficulty: 4/10 It's the third instalment of Koei's Warriors Orochi series. Well to sum it up. If Dynasty Warriors is about Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Samurai Warriors on the Warring States Period then Warriors Orochi is about mixing the two series and includes the fables/novels from both Chinese and Japanese literature. To name some, Journey to the West, Investiture of the Gods and The Tale of the Heike. They also included some characters from other games like Bladestorm, Ninja Gaiden and Zill O'll. You pretty much use 3 characters at a time switching between them. Though I love using Nu Wa most. (and she has a move which is dirt cheap if you get the weapon skills right) If you are a fan of the Warriors series then this is definitely a must have in your collection. Oh and there are too many waifu materials here Oh and the sequel, Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate is about a certain Nine-tailed fox......

Popular Post Redgrave
#72: Resident Evil 5 Another PS3 title I missed out on, so I'm glad I got to play it myself on a remastered version. It was a fun game, though it took me a while to get used to the controls. I actually found this Platinum tougher than RE6 because of Professional difficulty bosses (namely Jill) and how your partner never really gets a chance to revive/get revived if one of you goes down. It was really bad with the exploding enemies or parts where you had no choice but to be separated. Still I had fun, and of course I would like to thank Undead Wolf for helping me out It's a shame RE4 won't have co-op.

Popular Post SoapMacTavish222
#198 and #199. Deadpool for #198. Same as it was on PS3 but ran smoother. If you know anything about comics then you know I don't need to sell this game to you.....it's freaking deadpool! He sells himself. Dark Souls 3 for #199 and all I have to say is that I am happy I am finished with it. I love all the Souls games but they did something with this one I was not very happy about. They involved the covenants a lot more in this one which would be fine if they gave you an alternative means of getting certain things. All I have to say is if you start this, try to collect your proof of Concord kepts asap. It is a very very boring grind otherwise. Aside from the covenant garbage, I loved everything else about it.
Popular Post fabmorais_2011
Mortal Kombat XPlatinum TrophyAll Trophies Unlocked Not a hard plat, and the grind is nowhere near as crazy as MK9. Almost all online trophies are boostable, and the cloud save trick works for the 10 ranked wins in a row if you're having trouble. I really enjoyed the game and found it to be on par with MK9. I like where the story is going and found story mode to be short but fun. Kombat is very similar to MK9, but with a few additions. It did feel a bit samey, even with three fighting styles for each character, and I do hope they bring something new to the table on the next inevitable entry. (Maybe the weapons from Deception? That would be fun!). Anyway, Netherrealm is doing a great job keeping the series alive and I'm thrilled to see where they'll go from here.
Popular Post Wdjat Prinny Doods
#136-Castles King of Builders End the game Pretty fun little strategy game. In this game you match blocks of the same tool symbol or material that randomly fall from the sky to complete the given objectives on each floor to make the tower taller, if the 5 by 5 grid fills completely up then it is game over. The story mode has 50 floors with bosses every tenth floor. The bosses were pretty interesting and breaks from the norm of the game with each boss being unique from one another. As you get to higher floors the blocks begin to fall from the sky faster so you have to think quickly to prevent the board from filling up, The plat isn't too bad overall and the 2 player trophies can easily be done solo with another controller (although the "It's Over 9000" trophy is a bit of a pain solo). The hardest trophy in my opinion is surviving for 7 minutes in survival mode which has no objectives and you simply must match blocks and survive for as long as you can. Around the 5 minute mark on survival mode blocks begin to fall ridiculously fast so it can be tough to keep up. I actually lost right at the 7 minute mark when I got the trophy (shown below in the screenshot instead of the plat shot) All in all a fun game and I recommend it if you like strategy games as it is certainly worth its cheap price of $5 doods Edited July 17, 2016 by Wdjat Prinny Doods
Popular Post straysheep87
# 139 - Goosebumps the Game (PS4) The storyline is silly (it's Goosebumps series after all) but I enjoyed, and it's a 3h plat.

Popular Post DiracMan42
Platinum #18 Furi Really enjoyed it - might not be for everyone though. If you really love Soulsborne (like I do), and other games that require you to practice and get better, I think you'll really enjoy it. And it's free on PS+ this month, so give it a chance!
Popular Post RedRodriguez87
Platinum And with that, I platinum another game that I was so utterly confident I would NEVER beat. You know, I can't find any real actual faults with the game; the combat is fun, the challenge fair, story interesting, all in all a solid game. And yet, I can't see myself ever returning to this series. While it doesn't help the trophies in this case are incredibly tedious, what kills my interest in this series is it's utterly bleak and joyless tone. Every line, every piece of dialogue is so deadpan serious, that it was hard for me to get invested. For all the combat and fun moments, the only time I ever cracked a smile playing this game was when I heard the different thug exchanges, and even then those are followed up by someone threatening to kill them, like the game is telling us "NO, NO LAUGHING." Ah well, let me wrap this up with something that this game could definitely have benefited from:
Popular Post ResidentScrub
Batman: Arkham City Same as RedRodriguez87 ^^ I thought I'd never platinum this game. I'd written it off ages ago because of the combat challenges, which I sucked at. However, a few months ago I took another stab at the Asylum challenges....completed them, by the skin of my teeth, and got the platinum. I decided to take another crack at the challenges for this as a result and found they were a walk in the park in comparison.....although I had forgotten about 2 of the advanced AR training missions that I'd given up on and were another big reason I'd written off the platinum. Thankfully they didn't take that long after a little more practice Still need to clean up on Origins & Knight at some point although not sure if I can be bothered with the MP grind of Origins.

Popular Post alexskill0714
38#: Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward It was fun. The story was interesting for the most part of the game, though a little bit confusing. For the puzzles, some were easy, others a little bit hard (based guides). I might play the third one in the future. My next Vita game will be Rebirth 3. Popular Post Suicide_Tortuga
#134. Hitman: Contracts Perfect Assassin Man I just love it when games from a PS2 HD collection all share the same platinum trophy image...[Looking at you both Ratchet & Clank, Jak & Daxter]I'm back at it again, taking assassin contracts, collecting weapons, and getting 47 all over again. But this time the AI is not as unfair as it used to be and disguises work better than before. Improvements that I welcome with open arms, since it makes my work much easier as a hitman.2/5 Hitman platinums taken down. Popular Post Griffon234
Plat #57: Furi I never thought I'd actually give another PS+ games which I've never heard of another go again after the awful experience of Ether One and how it was physically nauseating to play, but after watching some videos of this game, I could not pass it up. The game's advertising tagline I saw sums it up perfectly: "bullet hell meets bushido." You play as a character who has very little introduction, except as a prisoner trying to escape, and you fight boss fight after boss fight with no filler enemies in between in a very fast paced reaction time demanding combat system. I found it to be a blast, even though there were some bosses on Furier difficulty (the highest difficulty) that tilted me so badly. I suggest this game to anyone who wants to play a fast paced combat game, and I can safely say after such a long time: this month's PS+ lineup was GREAT. Difficulty: 7.5/10 (personal) Enjoyment: 9/10
Popular Post Adycakes
100% Complete - Little Big Planet KartingI honestly wasn't even going to touch this game after I heard how glitchy the online was. But when I heard the servers were going down in August I decided to give it a go & almost instantly regretted it as I found I couldn't match up with my second PS3 easily despite them being in the same room! But I stuck with it, made notes of the amount of games I won & played and finally got through it. It was actually quite a fun little game with some cool music, without the glitches & awful servers this game could have been fondly remembered, sadly it will be remembered for what a mess it was rather than the former.
