Popular Post MStalker58
#106 ICO Didn't enjoy this as much as Shadow of the Colossus, but still a good game when you are in the mood for something different or a change of pace. The setting and environment is quite relaxing at times as you explore the castle and try solving puzzles in order to advance to the next area. There is no hand holding or a HUD display bombarding you with information. It's just you, your partner Yorda, and the world of ICO. The only hard trophy is the speedrun trophy for beating the game in 2 hours. ICO just isn't a game suited for speedruns and I was cursing Yorda the entire time while wishing she would die in every imaginable way. Who thought it would be a good idea to include a speedrun in a game where you have to constantly help and wait for an AI partner to do the most simple things? Can't tell you how many times Yorda would be climbing down a ladder, make it to the final couple of steps, and then just decide out of nowhere to start climbing back up. WTF? Wasn't like there were any enemies around that scared her either. Just bad design. It was stressful and frustrating but I finally finished with a time around 1 hour and 50 minutes. That was almost a perfect run for me though and included reloading saves several times until I got lucky in making it through The Graveyard and made both the piston and water wheel jumps on the first try. 2 hours is a pretty tight window but if you take the quickest route you can afford a few mistakes. Oh yeah, there are 10-15 minutes of cutscenes and credits at the end of the game that count against your time. Those were some long minutes. You have no idea if you made it in time and all you can do is sit and watch the credits go on and on while the clock keeps ticking away. What a helpless feeling. Glad that's over with. Popular Post Dark Layla
#60 - Orc Slayer A friend of mine recommended me the game and so I did, even though the game has problems of "lag" (especially when there is a large agglomeration of enemies) I even found it funny easy peasy platinum !At now i'm a orc slayer so watch out Edited August 3, 2016 by Rose_Dark
Popular Post Jennifayrie
Atelier Sophie: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Book #107 Yaaay! Since Sophie is the first in a new atelier trilogy and almost all characters are new, I was worried I wouldn't like this one as much, but nope! Had just as much fun with this game as any other Not too crazy about the new battle system, and having to wait for the right 'rumour' to appear to fight certain bosses is a bit of a pain, but nothing that bothered me too much. Can't wait for Firis next! *waits*

Popular Post Brawler
Platinum #51: Over 9000 (DBZ: Battle of Z) This one is a major love/hate for me. I really enjoy it in co-op, but outside of that it leaves something to be desired. Fairly simple plat that can be obtained fairly quickly, though you have to wait a few weeks to purchase the various premium cards. I didn't mind playing it again, though if you put it down for a while and go back the controls feel extremely goofy. Popular Post Kittens Are Awesome
Ok, first and foremost, I haven't posted the last 10 plats I've earned in this thread due to the shitty browser I was using. Luckily, chrome has a much better browser for mobile. Now, on to the reason we all read this thread... Platinum #70 & 100% Warhawk Supreme Achievement Warhawk I'll give the shoutouts first. Mrquiet3 for pushing me to start this game for the clan trophies 4 months ago. Then, my homie, friedeggsonanail, for some entertaining real matches with my honey and me. They weren't boosting matches, but we had a ton of fun with this game. Ok, about the game. Amazing. That's the perfect word for it. The fact that the servers are as busy as they are nearly 10 years after launch is a testament to how amazing this game is. How have they not brought a Warhawk game to the 8th gen is beyond me. I did a ton of real matches to start this Uber long road to platinum. The servers, although riddled with vet players who show no mercy, still had new and intermediate players to balance things out. Basically, you still have a fighting chance. The game itself has some of the best controls once you tweak the settings and figure things out. The gameplay is solid and the action is face paced. On larger maps, once you die, you can spawn all over the place. You can even spawn in a teammates vehicle. I thought that was a nice touch. As far as the trophies go, holy shit. Talk about a mega grindfest! All I can say is, I sure am happy somebody discovered the split-screen ranked match glitch. Even with that, it was probably the biggest grind out of all the games I've ever played...ever! Although it is a giant grind, the glitched rank room makes it much easier and much faster. Overall, this was a super interesting adventure for me. I highly recommend the game and only recommend going for the plat if you need a super zen event. Here's a bonus video to top it off.

Popular Post GoodbyeBread
- The Final Frontier (Dead Space 2)After exactly 165 deaths, of retrying again and again, it is finally over. I pass through Hardcore mode (Fuck that difficulty seriously).Well despite the hatred I have for this game, I'll give credit where credit is due.High points are the story, Space, Weapons. Story was alright. It didn't capture the horror as dead space 1 did, but it did have its moments. All the characters are well acted, but some of Isaac's lines feel off. Flying and falling from space was awesome. I had more fun with flying around. Weapons were cool. My saving graces throughout the game were the ripper, line gun, contact beam and stasis.Low points are Hardcore Mode (for obvious reasons), cheap deaths, and Ubermorph. There were times where I had full health and for whatever reason, one little attack takes 3/4 of my health and suddenly, I'm wearing my insides for the prom. I know Hardcore was difficult, but man this game has you on edge the whole time. One mistake and your dead. Back to the unskippable cutscenes for the next 5 minutes. Ubermorph took a ton of my supplies. Made getting to the final boss frustrating.Dead space 2 is a great game. For the sake of your sanity, don't play Hardcore mode. If you must, make every shot count and supply yourself up. Good luck Edited August 4, 2016 by GoodbyeBread

Popular Post Valyrious
#42 - Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus (PS3) Very enjoyable game. Took a while though. I started it with my six year old nephew, and had to wait two weeks for him to stay over again in order to complete it. He wanted to play two playthroughs on easy, which was fine but made it longer than it needed to be. Yesterday I mopped up the rest of the trophies and finished it on hard today. Very fun game. Reminded me a lot of the 2016 PS4 Ratchet and Clank game, but on a smaller scope.

Popular Post voodoo_eyes
#128 - WRC 5 Not much of a racing fan, but this game was enjoyable for the most part. It looks great, the driving feels good and there is decent enough variation in tracks. The latter doesn't prevent it to become a tad repetitive though as throughout the 3 careers the stages get recycled quite a bit. The final career section drags on a bit as there are over 80 races, that need to be completed. Overall I disliked 3 things about this game. Races at foggy dusk, in which you basically can't see shit. Getting penalised on occasion without knowing what for. The audio/visual cues for the turns don't appear at times Enjoyment: 7 Difficulty: 2
Popular Post minh2t
Platinum #81: Gemini: Heroes Reborn Not much to say about this game, watched Heroes and liked it. This game was an easy platinum at a low price so I went for it. Game was pretty average; short enough not to get bored by it. Easy platinum if that's what you're looking for! Platinum #82: Day of the Tentacle Remastered I never played the original before, some friends told me it's a great game so I went for it when I saw it was on sale. The plot and the 3 characters were definitely interesting. I'm also glad the game included an arcade of Maniac Mansion. Great game for any fans of Point-and-click games. I admit I'm not very very good with some of the puzzles for these though, had to look up some walkthrough for some parts!

Popular Post AJC3317
Gravity Rush Remastered - It's all Relative gravity rush remastered is the updated version of the popular gravity rush game on psvita. i don't own a vita so i was excited to get the chance to experience this game first hand. you play as kat, a girl from a special race known as shifters with the ability to control and change her own gravitational field. at least i think it's a special race, it's never explained where she came from or how/why she has these powers. i personally like to think she is a prostitute on a really good ecstasy and cocaine high and the game takes place in her dream state. she runs around in her lingerie, which no one seems to question what so ever, and she is immune to all fall damage so i think the theory holds up pretty well. you even meet another shifter along the way, and she's dressed in even skimpier lingerie than kat, so it seems all the prostitutes in the city have teamed up to fight crime. but i digress. kat also will not be confused for a brainiac. early in the game she falls into a sewer and instead of being disgusted like most normal folks would be, she decides to build a home out of the biggest pipe she can find. but she certainly has a big heart, as she decides straight away to help out the city that she finds herself in without knowing anything about it. the story is pretty cliched. kat wakes up with amnesia and finds the city of hekseville has been split into four parts and has been overrun by nevi, which are the evil cousins of link's annoying helper in the ocarina of time. the nevi are apparently being controlled by an evil villain. however, you fully reunite the city and dispose of the evil villain about half way through the game, and the game then spends the rest of the time contriving more reasons for nevi to still be in the city. a new evil villain is even introduced towards the very end of the game, but there's not enough time for you to get invested on why you should care about him. there are more than a handful of funny dialogue lines, so it's still worth it to not simply skip through all the cutscenes the gravity manipulation, which is the core feature of the game, works well most of the time. it's not as disorienting as you might think when you're floating mid air and have the ability to move in 360 degrees. kat does get hung up on small things like lamp posts too often however. part of this can certainly be attributed to user error, but i feel as though if i'm flying through the air at close to the speed of sound i should be able to break down a few of the relatively skinny things the city throws up in your way. the gravity field you manipulate can affect pedestrians in your immediate vicinity as well. it's always funny to hear the screams of the mere mortals as you take off to fly around and take a few passers-by with you. combat consists of boringly kicking enemies, not-so-boringly gravity kicking enemies, and somewhat boring special moves. the gravity kick is where you will spend most of your combat time as it is by far the most effective and fun way to dispatch your enemies. it's somewhat annoying against flying enemies however, as the tracker that it uses can be a fickle mistress, and if the flying enemy you're trying to hit moves a quarter of an inch you will most likely send kat flying right past it gravity rush is certainly worth your time to play, either on vita or ps4. as long as you don't mind the cliched and unfocused story, the gravity manipulation is an interesting gameplay mechanic that, after a little practice, makes for fun times sailing all across the city, and kat is a likeable character who, while she doesn't fully understand what it is she's doing, understands that she's in a position to help people who need it and will do so whenever necessary
