Popular Post Zach
#118 Spyro the Dragon Enjoyment: 8.5/10 Difficulty: 2/10 Time: 7hrs 15min Wow, what a great game. I was a little too young when this game was released so I never got to play this game. I only got to play the third game all the way through. I also got halfway through the second game before getting the Original Xbox. Anyways, even though there wasn't much of a story in this game, it was still super fun! The gameplay is fantastic and I LOVE the new graphics in this "reignited" version of the game, I was really surprised all how short the game actually is. I've heard the following two games are slightly longer though. Doesn't seem by too much though lol. I have really missed Spyro so this has been an amazing first part of his journey. Up next: AC Odyssey new DLC (Seems to have made "woke" people upset. Lmao) and Spyro 2
Popular Post madbuk
#298 - Marvel's Spider-Man The web swinging here was better and more involved than it was in Amazing Spider-Man, and the story was better, and there were a lot more options during combat, with gadgets and special moves and suit mods etc... but overall despite being a better game than the Spider-Man games I've played before, it still doesn't quite strike me as anything special or noteworthy. The biggest problem for me was the side content - none of it was fun or interesting, and there was a lot of it. Amazing had awful side content too, but idk, it felt like there was less in Amazing which led to it not being as tedious. The main missions themselves were fun and I like this version of the characters. My only exposure to Spider-Man is via games, and this introduced me to new characters and villains. The story still isn't anything overly special but it is a step up from what came before, although I don't know why I even bothered reading the prequel novel. It provided some good background for Peter and Mary Jane's relationship, and it introduced Yuri and Fisk, but other than that nothing really seemed relevant. Certain characters in the book I was hoping to see here are completely absent, like Maya and Bingham - maybe they're saving them for a sequel? This was a good game but I do think it's slightly overrated. If they can add some more variety to the side content and make it far more interesting in the sequel, then they have the basics for a great game here, they nailed the swinging and the additions to combat compared to previous games were nice. Still need to do the DLC but I hear that's worse so I don't have high hopes for it.

Popular Post Ac3dUd3-
#107 - Portal Knights Enjoyment: 8/10 Difficulty: 2/10 I enjoyed the game a lot, it is not a very difficult game, just a little grindy at the end for 3 trophies. Overall I would recommend it to anyone, especially as it is the PS+ free game this month!

Popular Post Eli_bloodthirst
#78 - The Crew II You're THE driver baby - 21.16% Well first actual decent game I've platinumed this year and honestly it was just one in my backlog that my friends had been egging me on to complete. It was actually a really fun game once I got into it but I guess I'm one of those weird guys who rather just fly a plane than drive a car. Enjoyment: 8/10 - Stress free platinum, my only gripe though is that when you respawn to get "back on track" it'll often throw you into a gitgud loop, particularly grand prix which I absolutely hated. Everything else had its up and downs though Difficulty: 3/10 - I think the only real hard aspects to this game is the mini grinds to complete certain aspects of this game and the long races. Honestly piece of cake, only took so long because I decided to binge 10 games last month (which sorry I failed to include some like Life is Strange Before the storm but oh well.)

Popular Post zizimonster
#60 Wolfenstein: The Old Blood Well...well...well... nothing short of incredible has been said about MachineGames' Wolfenstein: The Old Blood. From the atmospheric setting to the sublime featured characters in it -- though Blazko is still the best of the bunch. You have probably heard people say it is not as great as The New Order, but The Old Blood has challenge maps, which make the overall experience as great. The challenge maps are fun -- as fun as Rise of the Tomb Raider's score attack mode if you have played it -- but a bit less frustrating with video guides. If you are still on the fence about picking it up, worry not, you will find joy playing it. And if you are on the fence because you are not good at playing first-person shooters, believe me, The New Order was the first-person shooter I have played with a DualShock -- though I once played the first Killzone more than 10 years ago.
Popular Post StiffTripple_X
Plat #40 Went back this this week and finally finished off the not dying trophies and ghost trophies. This was a fun plat to get seeing as it is Ms.Pac-Man. It isn’t a really hard plat to get since you can upload saves to the cloud and redownload them every time you mess up but if you are not very good at Pac-Man games you’ll probably have to do that a lot which can be time consuming. Difficulty: 4/10 and Enjoyment: 8/10.

Popular Post Jiano_Vera
Platinum 88 - Yakuza 0 What a ride. There is so much to this game, I don’t know where to begin! The story was interesting and had me hooked, it was like watching one of those crime shows you would binge on. The voice acting was excellent and most of the characters are memorable. I feel like the sub stories were on point and it never made you feel like it was a pointless story; it allowed players to see a goofier side of Kiryu, who throughout the main plot has nerves of steel and is stoic in demeanor. Gameplay wise, the game offers so much that you’re never bored in Kamurocho or Sotenbori. Though the map is small, it is jam packed with mini games and events. Not like other open world games, where there is vast fields of nothing. One of my few criticisms about this game is the combat. After playing games like Batman Arkham and Nier Automata where the combat is smooth and intuitive, Yakuza’s combat felt clunky and outdated. In addition, the camera would sometimes hinder your view and would mess up your combat rhythm. The combat and camera are minor gripes and don’t completely break the experience. Trophy wise, this game can be a nightmare for some. There are 3 main hurdles to get the platinum: -100% completion (where all the dreaded mini games fall under) -Legend (extra hard) playthrough -Climax battles All of them were challenging, and will push you to frustration, but keep at it! For me, the hardest part were some of the mini games (Outrun and Fantasy Zone can burn in Hell) and some climax battles require skill and even more luck. Aside from the minor gripes, this is still a game that should be experienced for its awesome story and all the side content. If I didn’t have such a huge backlog, I’d play Yakuza Kiwami next! Good luck on anyone wanting to get this platinum! Overall Score: 9/10 Platinum difficulty: 7/10 Time to plat: 170 hours

I never intended to ever play this game, but a friend of mine from an old boosting group convinced me and 8 other people to form a session together, claiming it was "easy and it should be done fast". As of March 2018 (we started in May), he was right except for one trophy, which earning probably took off a few years from my total life expectancy. Please do not download this game, I would not wish it upon even my worst trophy hunting enemies.
Popular Post Eli_bloodthirst
#79 - Call of Duty - Modern Warfare 3 All in - 4.66% Well I finally got MW3, this bad boy I've been so close to for so long and all I had to do was those missions, lost progress and I lost hope, til recently where I decided I'm just gonna do it. Difficulty: 9/10 - Honestly one of the hardest things I've done, so excruciating at times but so rewarding at the end. The last mission I completed, fire mission took me so long until this morning I did it first try, which is funny because it never was that hard. Enjoyment: 10/10 - Spewed so many hours in this game, so I can't fault it. Only bit that isn't enjoyable was the disgusting missions. MW2's was better.
Popular Post Ala-Arska
Reverie (PS4) Tai of New Zealand Collect all other trophies Does pineapple belong in a pizza? Discuss. Another run of this game (PS Vita was done last summer), another trip down the nostalgia lane. Since I've already done this once before, I won't go into details about what makes Reverie so awesome It's pretty much The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening with Earthbound visuals. Yup, that sums it up nicely. (I have mentioned TLoZ: LA several times before, but just because it's a superb game which everyone should experience ) Reverie copies Zelda pretty shamelessly, from the inventory usage (which is admittedly clumsy) to the tight package of island exploring. It's one of those titles that brings back my childhood memories of gaming. Those simpler NES times, how I long for thee The only critique I have is that I didn't enjoy watching it from the big screen much. Graphics like these are well more suited for PS Vita. Absolutely give Reverie a whirl, and if possible, in a handheld version. There's more to New Zealand than Hobbits, I'll give you that much
Popular Post TugaSonic
#108, #109, #110 - Tomb Raider Trilogy (PS3) Spoiler Master of Tomb Raider: Legend Earn all the trophies in Tomb Raider: Legend Master of Tomb Raider: Anniversary Earn all the trophies in Tomb Raider: Anniversary Master of Tomb Raider: Underworld Earn all the Trophies in Tomb Raider: Underworld Played the games on PC when they came out and now years later found a physical copy of the Trilogy on a second-hand store so I bought it to replay them. Anniversary is still my favourite from the 3 since there's more focus on the puzzles. The game barely has cutscenes, it made me realize how games now rely on cutscenes and dialogue to tell the story. I was scared of playing Underworld because of the reported bugs but I was happy that I only encountered one bug and it was at the beginning of the game, when jumping off the boat Lara got stuck under it, had to start all over since loading my save would always result in getting stuck, but apart from that the game run fine. When it came to bugs only Anniversary gave me a headache since there were two parts when doing the time trials that Lara just when through pillars that she needed to grab, lost a lot of minutes just because of that. The games are still fun so I still recommend to anyone that has a copy on their backlog. And now to decide on what to play next, maybe I'll go with MGS4, the platinum scares me a little with how high the difficulty, time and number of playthroughs one has to do but people really speak highly of the game so I'll try it out.
