Popular Post DamagingRob
#366- Star Wars Battlefront II Platinum Trophy Obtain all trophies Well, here it is. The game that had such a disgusting microtransaction/lootbox system, gamers rose up and told EA "NO." But I love Star Wars and the first game was fun, so I decided to get it on Black Friday. For only $8, I'm fairly satisfied with my purchase. The campaign was pretty fun, as was Heroes vs. Villains in the online multiplayer. I didn't enjoy the shooter portion of the online as much this time, though. Part of that may have been because I was being forced to play a certain way for trophies, but it also felt kind of unbalanced. And the spaceship combat was the same way. If you are a new player, you are very likely to get wrecked by players with powered up star cards. And a lot of the stuff in the trophy guide is outdated. You can no longer buy upgrades with credits. The only way is to slowly grind and level up, which takes an incredibly long time without triple XP. That's what helped me fully level up my Heroes and Villains quicky, and become somewhat decent at that mode. But the rest? I was pretty much screwed.. Heroes vs Villains isn't perfect, either. Certain characters will annoy the crap out of you, depending on how they are used. Boba Fett players, in particular, will fly to where no one else can easily reach and keep a round going for a long time, until your team usually loses it. And what I thought was an odd glitch, is apparently a flaw in the game's design, and another way players use cheap tactics to win. In a match I played, Chewbacca had glitched into the wall, and couldn't be killed. Until l finally got lucky and did, while standing next to it and swinging my light saber. The trophy list is also horrible. Everyone probably knows about the Rank 50 one, and it taking a very long time to get. But that's not the only thing that is a pain in the ass.. Let's go over all the trophies that may make you want to stick a fork in your eye. Or the dev's. Choose Your Path. Sure, let's try to kill the marked Hero/Villain, while we are also marked, and everyone is trying to kill you. And then your teammates may get credit for the actual kill, depending on who lands the finishing blow. And do it 50 times. I ended up boosting some of these, but would have gotten them all eventually, as I was well over half. But what a relief it was to no longer have to do them, and just play how I wanted. Not All Miss. 3 kills with one time limited weapon usage. Not fun. And I never got to a high enough level to buy the skill that would have made it last longer, so even less fun. This is probably a huge part of the problem, actually. All of the trophies I'm listing after the first could have been made easier, had they not removed the option to buy skills with credits. Credits are basically useless now, after you buy a couple of locked heroes and one spaceship. Sentry Mode Engaged. 150 kills with this thing really sucked, and took forever. And again, never was able to buy the card that would have helped, because I never reached the required level. But the real kicker with this one is, most of these are in-game challenges. But the challenge is only 50 kills. They have you do three times as many, for no real reason. I'm convinced they hate trophy hunters, and just wanted to make us squirm.. Multi-tasking. Fuck. This. Trophy. ._. The first game had a trophy like this, but you only had to destroy 2 Hero ships. Why increase it to 25? This is similar to the Choose Your Path trophy, where you must get the last hit in. And my God, did it suck.. The best mode to try for it, is in Hero Starfighters. Crash your ship at the start, and respawn in a fighter. Then attempt to take some down before the round ends. No more waiting for them to spawn in in other modes, but this probably handicaps your team.. The Force Is Strong With This One. Guess I gotta mention it. But it wasn't really that bad with triple XP. Too bad it's not the norm.. So yeah, the trophy list was kinda shit, and made me hate playing this game. To the point I'll likely never play it again. Whereas, with the first Battlefront, I actually wanted to play post Plat.. So, in that regard, I guess this one isn't as good as the first. At least they didn't have difficulty trophies, I guess. Seeing the amount of enemies they throw at you, I can imagine the hardest difficulty would have caused me to rage even more. :/ Was nice to finish with a stress free segment, after all the stressful multiplayer stuff. Platinum image: Spoiler @Franciscoo- Lol. I hope to someday.. Too many games to play, not enough time. :/ Still need to buy Margaret, as well. Popular Post JoeApsey00
#70 - Darksiders Warmastered Edition Pretty simple platinum, if a little grindy. However, I had a good time especially seeing as I went in with no expectations. On to Darksiders 2!

Popular Post Gumby114
Overcooked 2 My wife and I played together over the Christmas period. A fun game to play with you S/O on the couch with a few cold ones. We had a great time and bought the DLC the moment we finished the main games. Popular Post Redgrave
#142: Platinum - Rise of the Tomb Raider I never really played nor was I really into Tomb Raider before and I get that this one probably wasn't the best way to introduce myself into the series but I thought the game itself was fine for the most part. I think the only things I didn't really like about it were how collectibles were annoying to get because of the way the levels are structured and how you're only allowed to go through certain ways (e.g. if you can crawl under something to get to another area, you for some reason can't crawl back through the same hole) and I didn't really care for the Score Attack mode since it just felt like a cheap way to get another playthrough in. Otherwise there's the DLC and I really didn't like the generic zombie one, but the others were alright for the most part, especially the co-op ones that I want to give a thanks to @Undead Wolf for helping me get. Over all the game was just fine.

It's my favorite of the trilogy even though it has some missable trophies.
Popular Post Baker
#205 + 100% Assassin’s Creed Origins Earn Them All! Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 Total Playtime: ~60 hours As always I’m late to the party. I have some mixed feelings about this game. I really missed the freerunning sections or some good hidden tombs as in the old AC games, and with Egypt as setting this was THE oportunity to give us some good challenging tombs. Instead they’re a complete joke. The story isn’t great either and some sync challenges would’ve been nice too as this game is laughably easy. I only played it on normal difficulty though, but still... But wow, the open world and atmosphere were amazing and those were the main reasons I still liked this game. I really love ancient Egypt mythology, or any mythology whatsoever, so I’m already looking forward to AC: Odyssey as I’m reading good things about it. Overal a fun game but it should have been much better.

Popular Post Katt
Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet Trophy Hunter Acquire all trophies. Such a great game, I was waiting a GGO game for quite sometime. But I'm a little disappointed. Let's see, good music, mediocre designs for all characters, I like big maps but, SBC Glocken map was unnecessarily large, a trip to the governor's office was a pain, (there is quick travel but...), It felt like the ladder scene in Snake Eater, everytime. The design of the different maps on the world was... not good. Almost empty. Boring dungeons. Something I really liked was the story. If you watched the anime you will know that the anime is for dark stuff and the games are for happy endings. This time, the dark stuff was featured on the game with the return of Death Gun. If the animated scenes from the anime were placed instead still images, that would be amazing. Now, regarding to events, they are boring. The characters perform different animations that can be found emote menu. There are like 3 or 4 movies in real time. More like those would have been great. In the other hand, the gameplay is amazing, the shooting, the skills, the weapons, everything is amazing. The true ending leaves the door open to a another game, so if someone involved in the development of these games reads this, take everything I said into consideration. I want give my thanks to @BurnI_CoCo for helping me to get the online trophies for this game. Edited January 10, 2019 by Katt

I was really surprised by how much heart they incorporated into the game, both Peter/Spider man segments are both equally fun and rewarding. Popular Post Desmuria
#140 - NORN9 Var Commons NORN9VC Completionist You have unlocked all trophies! Enjoyment: 7/10 Difficulty: 2/10 Another day, yet another VN completed and I quite enjoyed this one. The character design and background sceneries were gorgeous. It was very visually appealing. This otome game has three girls and nine guys, which mixed things up a little. The story was good (not the best) but it wasn't awful. There's a cute hidden mini-game that you have to play to get the platinum too. After the horrific experience with the mini-game in Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness, I was pleasantly surprised with how easy this one was. It's an 8-bit "adventure" game, entirely random, and you have to earn a certain amount of points. All pretty straight-forward. For VN lovers, I recommend this one. Popular Post Arceus130
#143-147: Kingdom Hearts 1.5+2.5 (and Spider-Man) KH Difficulty: 8/10, Spider-Man Difficulty: 3/10 KH Enjoyment: 8.5/10, Spider-Man Enjoyment: 9.5/10 Ready for KH3! This was the second time I've platted these collections and the millionth time that I've replayed some of them. I really did want to go through them without any interruptions, but I was getting drained by length of each game, hence Spider-Man serving as a break. The most exhausting part of the KH games was probably the grinding (here's looking at you, level 99 trophies in CoM >_>). The second-most exhausting part is the lack of mobility at the start of each game. Having had all of the growth abilities at the end of 2 makes Sora at the start of 1 feel like snail. However, the combat is still a blast (especially in KH2, IMO), and the story, despite being presented in the most convoluted fashion possible, is still (Disney-branded) fun. Spider-Man also deserves its own paragraph, but there's not much to say here besides: it's great. The characters and story are spectacular, the traversal is fun, and the combat is really good. If you haven't played it, please give it a shot. It's not a perfect game by any means. I wasn't a huge fan of specific stealth sections, and I also felt like certain characters didn't get a lot of great closure. However, the first issue is a matter of taste, and the second one was addressed through DLC (which some people may think is sufficient, but I sure as hell don't) or could become a non-issue in a sequel.
Popular Post Undead Wolf
#234 - God Eater 2: Rage Burst Paragon God Eater Collect all trophies. It has been a long time coming, but I finally got around to playing this game after finishing the first God Eater almost exactly 2 years ago. Just in time for God Eater 3 next month! I really enjoyed my time with this one, probably even more so than with the first game. I think a lot of that is down to me being familiar with the game mechanics and such this time around due to my prior experience with the series. One of my favourite things about this game is just how in-depth it is. There were multiple occasions where I spent 30+ minutes in one go browsing the menus, crafting weapons, equipping skills, modifying bullets, and all round min-maxing. I understand how that might not appeal to everyone, but I loved it. I just wish some of the menus were more streamlined and a search function would have been great to find specific items, but that's only a minor gripe really. While the map variety/size, enemies, and moment to moment gameplay pale in comparison to something like Monster Hunter: World, this game still has its own unique charm. What is up with that ending, though? But anyway, I'm really excited to see what they do with God Eater 3 considering how its being developed for much more powerful hardware. Thanks for the fun times, @Redgrave. Until we meet again...
Popular Post Sofa King
102-105 Lords of the Fallen I didn't hate it, didn't love it either. A Souls clone that doesn't stack up to its inspiration. Still I'll finish up the DLC for the 100%. Wolfenstein:The New Order This one I just forgot about for a long time and on a whim started playing again to get off the backlog. I won't lie, I just played the last chapter on Uber to get the plat and take a chip out of my backlog. Dog Gone Golfing A dog gone pain in the ass! I only paid something like $.47 for it and there's plenty of game, but it's a big grind for the plat. Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice Started this and didn't really get into it at first, but I kept hearing it was good so I gave it another chance. I ended up liking it quite a bit actually. A walking sim with some teeth and some bite to prove they're not for show. I'd recommend it for sure. Popular Post GraniteSnake
#105: Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker My third favourite entry in what is undeniably my favourite game series. Looking back through my trophy list, it's funny to see all of my failed attempts at completing the campaign. I first started this game in August of 2013, and it wasn't until that same month in 2015 when I had finally finished the story. Four different attempts over the course of the two years.. and I seem to remember me deleting a save file and restarting anew as I'd forgot the story. It's been an eventful journey to the platinum, taking me 5 years and 5 months! The worst part about this game is getting through the ridiculous amount of vehicle extra ops with less than ideal gear in order to unlock the gear that makes these missions a walk in the park.. I thought recruiting staff would be a grind but it was nothing compared to completing the 42 vehicle missions which got repetitive fast. Once you get through those missions and unlock the best gear (M47, Kampfpistole, Infinity Bandana & Carl Gustav FR) all that remains is for you to power through the rest of the missions and obtain an S rank in each of them. My final play time ending up being just short of 100 hours. Went out of my way in order to have this platinum as my 5000th trophy milestone and I'm glad I did so ?
