The story mode was fine but way too short. The DLC was much better. The endgame grind was annoying and I actually injured my hand because of it. ?

Thank the Lord that is over. (I still have the PS4 version. Not sure if I want to redo the grind.)

This is the second time playing this, the first time didn't have a platinum, but there is something special about this game. Telling the story of family members and sometimes their tragic ends. I would love to play more games like. Certainly worth it.

Awesome, highly addicting game... with the worst postgame crafting grind in the entire series. If they ever remaster Kenzan as well, I hope they will relax when it comes to the blacksmithing crap.

 

That aside, though, it's been great to have another RgG game to enjoy. Can't wait for LaD Gaiden later this year.

In Babylon's Fall I really liked the combat and the looter mechanics. Sadly the game felt really unpolished with quite a few bugs and glitches. The graphics had an unique approach but I didn't really enjoy looking at them. It took some time to get used to it since a lot of objects got blended in by its surroundings due to the style of the graphics.

Overall I had more fun with this game than I orignally thought I would have. Totally not worth the launch price but for the 8€ that I paid I got my moneys worth.

Time: 49 hrs

 

Battle Princess of Arcadias can be compared with Odin Sphere, Dragon's Crown or Muramasa Rebirth. It's a 2D hack 'n slash with a level up and loot system. By following the story you unlock missions. These missions come in several variations. From a normal dungeon where you slash through mobs to a skirmish where you have a squadron that kills your enemies squadron or even helps you out with killing a boss. It was a nice extra touch which made this game unique on its own. A little gem for sure.

Here are my 3 most recent platinums:

 

Hogwarts Legacy 

I spent the bulk of February on this game and I deeply enjoyed it. The first 10-15 hours were absolutely magical getting to explore Hogwarts and basically living 12 year old me's fantasy. The collectibles and the southern part of the map dragged it out a bit longer than it needed but overall I had an excellent time.

 

Fallout: New Vegas 

After 7 years and some change, I finally finished this game. The DLC's were really enjoyable for the most part though the way this game runs on the PS3, it really put a damper on things occasionally. 

 

Ratchet and Clank: All 4 One

This game is Ratchet and Clank's worst outing hands down. The levels are super linear and might as well be on rails. The weapons only have paid upgrades and you don't even need to unlock the R.Y.N.O.! The gameplay in general was lousy and I cannot figure out why on Earth weapons, upgrades, and bolts, are not shared between characters. This might have had potential if some of the above was fixed. Almost scared to try Full Frontal Assault but I am determined to platinum all of the R&C games barring stacks.

Not much to say about this one. This is my first Lego platinum but not my first lego game. It's pretty standard for lego games. One thing I did appreciate though is that getting 100% isn't too much of a grind.

- Gear Master -

This was a pretty good indie shmup. It's main gimmick is that it gives you infinite rechargeable bombs that are needed to get past parts of the game. Once I got use to not hording my bombs I had a lot of fun with this. I kind of think it's a shame how easy the plat for this is. The game is actually pretty hard and think the trophies should have reflected that at bit more.

A very easy peasy Platinum

 

There are plenty of guides out there that make this one of the easy platinums I've ever gotten for its rarity, though I do agree with a lot of people it does feel like the game holds you hostage by making you play the game for 100 hours. or at least, have the game turned on for 100 hours. It's nice to have a platinum that looks like the trophy itself, a lot of them look really lame but this one looks really neat.
