Another plat! I wanted to play this game for quite some time but I was waiting for a good sale, the game is not awesome but I've seen the movies and I wanted to plat the game even if it isn't the best video game in the market. I enjoyed the game, the trophy list is straight forward but there's a bit of a grind at the end but nothing too crazy, you will end up getting the platinum trophy in like 7-8 hours in-game time!

Popular Post KenjiCBZ
#92: Tearaway Perfectionist (20.99% - Uncommon) Collect all the other trophies Ah, if only the PsVita got some more love... Tearaway is a beautiful game, perfect for an handled console, and it's a solid showcase of the Vita features; I think that this game, along with Gravity Rush and Uncharted: Golden Abyss, is a must for every Vita owner. The game is not long to beat, but there a lot of collectables, including enemies, and it's very easy to forget some of them during your first run, so I had basically to replay the game a second time just to clean up the remaining collectables: thankfully, guides are out so it was easy to track them, but I got to say that some of these collectables were very well hidden and I likely would have never found them by myself. There are also three Trophies related to beating three levels without dying: it was a bit daunting at first, but with enough practice it wasn't so bad and I managed it without much trouble. Overall, a very good game and a satisfying Platinum to have.
Popular Post StraightVege
Platinum Trophy #322 The tale of a charming race of bird-like beings, whose lives are suddenly upended when a malevolent entity known as The Storm begins to engulf their humble community, manifesting as a terrifying amethyst cloud of grasping hands, tendrils, and gnashing teeth. In the distant past, The Storm was once successfully repelled, when the kind goddess Diva helped these songbird people build tremendous wind instruments to frighten it away. As the eponymous Shu, a brave young member of this tribe, it's up to you to jump and glide your way through six challenging worlds of precise 2D platforming, on a quest to activate the instruments and once again banish the destructive Storm. In the process of seeking these out, you'll be rescuing newly hatched "Babby" chicks (so cute!) and numerous villagers, both scattered by the encroaching Storm. Each world features two unique feathered friends to partner with, whom you'll then literally take by the wing and have running alongside you for the duration, lending their specific talents to the otherwise limited Shu. At the conclusion of that world, they'll depart to safety on a hot air balloon, forcing you to adapt to an entirely new set of skills in the next area. It's an ingenious way of approaching abilities, allowing ample time to master each skill and squeeze maximum value out of every mechanic, while simultaneously introducing new challenges at the perfect pace to avoid overwhelming players. I also enjoyed the endearing sounds your buddies make when they employ their tricks. No doubt about it, this game drips with charm. Since worlds focus on different obstacles and abilities every time, it keeps the experience feeling fresh throughout. One world has you teaming with an agile pair of birds to sprint over the surface of water, hitting switches that alter the depth level to reveal paths, while wall jumping back and forth through perilously placed spiky vines. In another, you're working with a burly dude to dash through stained glass barriers in midair, in tandem with a lady who can temporarily slow time to allow passage through a variety of dangerous traps, such as crushers. There's even several levels wherein a bull-bird hybrid creature is kind enough to let you ride on their back, smashing through crates at high speed. For the most part, it all works well and feels tight, with the exception of one infuriating mechanic I'll discuss later. Stages also feature streams of golden butterfly collectibles, which double as helpful trail markers to highlight the various routes and hint at secrets, most notably the locations of hidden tablets which reveal the history of Shu's world. The developers were smart about not requiring you to grab every last one of these for full completion of the level, too, so it's only necessary to find the majority of them. Generally, the game's collectibles are cleverly concealed, but totally reasonable to locate even without assistance from a guide, which I always appreciate as someone who usually detests collecting stuff. Replaying levels is encouraged, since you sometimes can't explore everywhere on the first run, and they offer optional challenges to finish them deathless or beat a par time. Fortunately, they're largely brief enough not to get on your nerves when you inevitably lose those five lives, and are forced to start over. The game is visually pleasing, as well, constructed of 3D assets that remain stylistically congruent with the adorable, hand-drawn avian characters you control. Sounds like a good time, eh? Well, it is... mostly. Where I think Shu falters badly is in its overreliance on frustrating chase levels that have The Storm quite literally nipping at your heels, leaving very little room for error. This concept is reused far too frequently for my taste, to the point of sheer exhaustion. It's almost like the devs lost confidence in their ability to craft interesting levels without constantly pressuring the player. Compounding the issue is the game's most annoyingly inconsistent mechanic—air pipes controlled by an elderly villager, which rarely behave how you'd expect, and will certainly kill you repeatedly—that later becomes a component of these pursuits, pissing me off badly enough to stop playing the game for a week. Now, I'm really not one to rate games on a point scale, but if I was, those utterly garbage sections would've dropped it by several in my mind. By and large a good game, but it had the potential to be a masterpiece with smarter design decisions and additional playtesting, and sometimes that stings more than an outright terrible game, y'know? Picking it up on sale is likely still worthwhile for my fellow platforming enthusiasts out there, but be prepared to cope with some aggravating moments. The final main game level in particular brings together everything you've learned up to that point, demanding around six minutes of perfect play. Here's my successful deathless run, along with the platinum screenshot: Edited March 4, 2023 by StraightVege

Popular Post Sora9427
Platinum Trophy N.207 - Cities Skylines Ultimate City MayorAcquire all the other Trophies I Usually write down really long reviews with all the details about the game, trophies and time i had with them but this time i don't think there is going to be much to say So i Finally got the Platinum of Cities Skyline, one i'm really happy to see added to my profile! Cities Skyline is a "Managing" type of game where you have to build and manage your city, making it growing bigger and being able to develop it to its best while soliving the common real problem coming with a city (crime, Garbage and so on). Personally i love this kind of games! I played them in the past for hours and hours (Mostly Imperium Civitas and Sim City back on Pc) and i never get tired of building my new city in different ways and layouts and see how it goes :3 Let's say this is Kinda limited sadly in Cities skyline, at least working for the platinum. You have to build very specific building or areas or abusing stupid things like for the metro trophy or the Taxing one, which makes the experience less fun than being able to have complete freedom and build how or what you want or not in your city, still it was alwyas fun, evene the grinding trophy i have a good memory of them! I Use Memeory because it's actually being quite a while since i sat down and did 90% of the trophies required for the platinum, it was back in September/October that i so much into the game and did most of it getting so close to the plat only missing 1 trophy which was, weel impossible to get right away! I'm talking about the "1001" Nights trophy. For this you have to play actual 1001 nights in game for this you have to activate the Day/Night Cycle and then play, a Day is like 4-5? Maybe 3 anyway some months that have to pass so you basiclaly need around 350 In-Game years to pass for the trophy. Best way to do it is just create a new City don't build anything so you don't have to manage nothing and leave it there time passing. Thankfully the Trophy is Comulative so it count the Days from other save files and since i had a Save file with like 10-20 years and my main one with 110/120 years played in it i got it in my Idle file at the year 2220! I Could have actually got the trophy waaaay earlier but, last year i couldn't leav the Ps4 on for a long time or it would have seems like an airport was in my room. And on Ps5 i often forgot to just leave the console there on the game when i was elesewhere like i did today Anyway i'm Happy to finally have it! Mostly a really long Plat because of this trophy i wrote about rather than an hard one still another Super Rare Plat which is always great I Leave here the Platinum Screenshot, well it's the empty Idle city after all not that i coudl know when it was gonna pop. Spoiler Meanwhile 2 More DLCs came out for the game too! Plaza & Promenades which looks awesome and Financial district which i don't know anything about honestly. Maybe i'll get Plaza & Promenades now since it's on sale Edited March 4, 2023 by Sora9427

Popular Post MrGarland
Platinum #150 Final Fantasy X HD Difficulty: 5/10 Playtime: 140 hours Enjoyment: 10/10 To begin with, I can't call myself a Final Fantasy guy. What I mean by that is that I haven't played all the games in the main series. I would play some of them, but there's only one problem. I don't have that much time these days for those, due to my job and multiple hobbies which already take a huge amount of time in my daily life. That being said, I'll try some of them in the future, but more about that later. Anyway, I've played a few games in the series before this in the past, with the previous one being Final Fantasy XV, but what about the first one? Final Fantasy XIII (and the sequels). Sure, it has its flaws, but I actually enjoyed the first game. I wish I could say the same about the sequels it had, but I'll leave it to that. As for the former one, it's good, but it's not that good in my book. Then there's Final Fantasy X. Oh boy, how long have I been planning to start that. In fact, I think it's as early as 2009 when I first discovered it. How exactly? I remember seeing a video about Top 20 boss battle themes, with one of the songs in that video being Fight With Seymour. That is how I first discovered the game, and it slowly sparked my interest towards it. I also remember seeing the copy of PS3 version of the HD collection several years ago, but I missed my chance of buying it. However, I did manage to find a brand new copy of PS4 version at some point, and that's when I planned to start it. Before I begin to talk about my journey, allow me to point out the positives. Starting with the collection itself. While there's not much to say about it, I thought I'd mention a couple of things. One, the game looks glorious in HD. In fact, I'd say it's the best HD remaster I've played, and I've played plenty of them. Not only that, but since I played the PS4 version, there's also an option to switch between the original and arranged soundtrack. Because this was my first time playing the game, I did myself a favor and selected the original because why not. As for the game, it was great. Better than I thought. The characters, the gameplay, the story. It all worked for me. Even the voice acting was good, though some might say otherwise. Actually, the only character whose voice took me some time to get used to was Seymour’s. Other than that, it was pretty solid. It was the first game that had it, so I’ll cut it some slack. Not to mention, Wakka’s habit of saying “ya” never got boring. And yes, I think Tidus is a cool guy. He may not be the most popular Final Fantasy protagonist, but I had no problem with him. However, the thing that stands out in this game (at least to me) was the soundtrack. The Final Fantasy series is known to have great music, and this one is no exception. After playing the game for a while, the soundtrack quickly became one of my all-time favorites, and I've listened to some of the songs plenty of times. Some of these include Otherworld, Yuna’s Theme and A Fleeting Dream. Also, in case it wasn't obvious, I'm talking about the original, not the arranged soundtrack the collection has. The latter one is good, but it's nowhere as memorable. Many of the arranged songs don't sound that great at all, while a few of them sound almost the same as the original. Which is why I'm going to say that the option to switch between the two in the PS4 version was a smart move. Since I played this game for the first time, it only made sense to switch to the original. Not to mention, that feature is something I’ve always appreciated in remakes/remasters. Developers should use that more often. When it comes to my journey, there’s not much to say. I explored all there’s to it, while learning about the world and such. However, I had one major rule I sticked to, for the most part. No using cheap strategies against bosses. This meant that no Summoning Yojimbo, for one obvious reason. The only time I had to Summon him was when I fought Dark Valefor, and that's because I had some business in the Besaid Village. Since my party wasn't strong enough, I decided to take the quickest route and just get over with it. If there’s anything I like about Summoning him, it’s the way he enters the battle. Watch a video about it, and you’ll know why. As for negatives, I really don’t have too much to complain, other than the ones listed below. You can’t skip cutscenes. It’s not that bothersome, but it really turns into that whenever you lose in a boss battle. For example, before you fight Yunalesca, you have to watch a cutscene that lasts about five minutes or so. It’s also a somewhat long battle, so whenever you fail like I did, you must watch it again before getting another shot. I lost a total of four times in that battle, and I had to watch the same cutscene every single time. Needless to say, that wasn’t fun a all. It felt like I was reliving my first days of playing the original Kingdom Hearts. That game also had the same problem when it first came out (looking at you, Riku battle 2), but at least they corrected that in 1.5 HD Remix. If only they could've done the same with this game. While you can fast travel to any location after the Airship becomes available, you can't select the specific landing point. This means that whenever you want to go to specific area (Monster Arena, for example), you must take the longest route. Blitzball. The first time I heard that word, I thought it would be something awesome. Instead, I got the opposite. It would’ve been great, but it suffers from a couple of different flaws that made it less fun to play. Also, the sheer amount of effort I had to go through, in order to acquire everything, was agonizing. Great Malboro. All I can say about this monster, screw it. When I was monster hunting in the Omega Ruins, I encountered these monsters occasionally. Whenever that happened, I got ambushed. Every. Single. Time. This wouldn’t be a problem, except that it uses an attack that inflicts multiple status ailments, with Confusion being the worst. To make it even worse, there’s a chance that the Confused character might either hit himself/herself or allies, which always resulted in KO whenever that happened. Because of this, I saw the game over screen several times, and it didn’t take me long till I started to save more frequently. Well, I suppose that covers it. Bottom line, if I don't count the grinding and such, this is a great game. I haven't played too many games in the series, and even though this was my first time playing it, I can say that this is my personal favorite in the series. Sure, it has some flaws, but it's still a great entry in the main series. For anyone who hasn't experienced it yet, do it at some point. It's worth it. And that's how I experienced this wonderful game. The journey was long and even though I had to do a ton of grinding in several things, I'd say getting the platinum was still worth it, as I got to experience a game with lots of great moments, like that "Underwater Date" scene which was beautiful. I also had to do a ton of research, in multiple different ways, like watching videos, reading walkthroughs, strategy guides and of course, this excellent guide from @The_Kopite. The latter one was huge assistance towards the end of my journey, and I highly recommend for anyone to check it out whenever going for the game’s platinum. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this. I had my expectation towards this game, but it managed to exceed them. I also think that I made the right choice for this milestone, even though it took me a long time to finish it. As for whenever I'm going to play the other games in this series, I'll do that someday. The ones I'm planning to try are VII, VIII and IX, as well as XII. I might try XVI sometime after its release, but it remains to be seen. I only hope that they won't release too many DLC episodes, like they did with XV. Also, no multiplayer, please. It was an unnecessary addition, and to make the trophies in that DLC unobtainable after a certain patch is the worst thing I’ve seen. I know that you can downgrade it, but I’m saving that for later, as it’s not important right now. Next project: It probably goes without saying that the sequel is next. As for what I've planned after that remains to be seen. Edited May 16, 2023 by MrGarland

Popular Post Jermster_91
#123 Mafia: Definitive Edition This was my first time playing any Mafia game with it being available through PS Plus this month. If you like movies like Goodfellas or the Godfather, this game will be right up your alley. Set in 1930s America, a Taxi Driver named Tommy just happens to be in the wrong place at the wrong time and becomes a member of a crime family. The trophies for this game are doable, however, doing the race in Chapter 5 on Classic is a SOB. It can be very infuriating from the car being hit by other racers to spinning out. That is the most challenge part of the game honestly. A lot of trophy guides give this game a 6 out of 10, but feel it is more like a 4.5 or 5 when it comes to difficulty. If you want to play as a member of a crime family, then this game is right up your alley.

Popular Post Kirilianov
Platinum Trophy #9 - Just Cause 3 King of Medici I am the true King of Medici now and finally got this Platinum! Since I started playing this 2016 on my test profile, Just Cause 3 became one of my most favourite games I played on the PS4. And it didn't change over all those years. The most time consuming trophy was the one for 5 gears in all challenges. I already did it on my test profile and now I had more trouble than I thought but it wasn't too bad! Of course I 100%-ed it by getting all the DLC trophies, I could have made it much faster but sadly I had to restart the game from the beginning, but yeah ... Just happy, that I finally got it! And the fun with Rico Rodriguez doesn't end here! In my backlog I have Just Cause 4 and newly added Just Cause 2!

I took my time because I didn't want it to end up fast. I will definitely play the third one later this year. #158 - The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 Master of Unwritten Tales Platinum in 1 week, 1 day Rarity: 29.34% (Uncommon) Difficulty: 2.5/10 Enjoyment: 5/10 A charismatic point-and-click adventure that overstays its welcome. But I probably didn't like it so much because I was in a hurry to finish before it was removed from the PS Plus Extra catalog. #159 - Graveyard Keeper Collect All Trophies Platinum in 1 week, 3 days Rarity: 16.36% (Rare) Difficulty: 2.5/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 This game is quite additive. I was obsessed with it for a week, but it lacks more combat options and more interaction with NPCs. After getting the plat I wanted to keep playing but the game doesn't offer extra goals to pursue or random events that would change the routine. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted. The communist donkey is especially hilarious. #160 - The Quarry What Doesn't Kill You... Platinum in 1 week, 14 hours Rarity: 13.59% (Rare) Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 I expect more from Supermassive Games with a higher budget and top quality cast. All actors are excellent here, a pity that the large number of characters and the messy plot doesn't let them shine enough. Chapter 7 in particular is abysmal. It's torture to have to watch it several times during the various playthroughs needed for the platinum. Worst of all, the different choices don't change much in the end. It's like half the game is missing. The good side is that the graphics are beautiful, I loved the soundtrack, the design of the creatures is interesting and most characters are quite charismatic.

Popular Post slender_adrian
- Ratchet & Clank - #115 Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 Grind: 2/10 Time: ? Rarity: [Ultra Rare 2.4% / Uncommon 20.54% ] "Greetings new fish!" I used to play Ratchet and Clank back in the day on the ps2, possibly one of the very first videogames I played in my life and they are really close to my heart. But back in the ps3 days I saw how this franchise started going astray with games like All for One or Assault, hell even Nexus felt wrong to me, and that made me forget about this series. I remember having a lot of fun with Tools of Destruction which was one of the first ps3 game I played and which I still have the copy from those days with me, my favorite R&C is A Crack in time, which I'll say is one of the best. So seeing this remake or whatever I was very skeptical at first but after playing it for the first time some years ago I actually enjoyed it, it is an awesome game and a good comeback to the series. I watched the movie too which I recommend it for any fan, in my honest opinion this is a great game to start if you're new to the R&C games, not the best but it get's the job done! Trophies were simple like any other R&C game, but you must do a lot of misc stuff. The only trophy to watch out for is Death By the Disco, which can be easily missable requiring you to start a new playthrough and do everything again basically. Very few grind for weapon leveling but nothing special. Very casual, easy and enjoyable platinum trophy! As for me, is time to plat the original trilogy! Popular Post Moridin83
#257 IA/VT Colorful A Vita exclusive JP exclusive rhythm plat finished in 2023? Yup! This one's been kicking around for me since 2017, and I finally finished it up recently. I like most rhythm games, and this was no exception. I enjoyed most of the music, and thankfully, this one focuses on the gameplay. I have no problem with the project Diva games, but I'm completely uninterested in the Diva room stuff, so the absence of that type of feature was a real plus for me. Face button inputs and direction arrow inputs are not interchangeable, so you have 8 different buttons to manage on hard mode, but it's not too bad, and the lack of any touch features in gameplay is a positive. The multiple note tracks and the hit zone shifting repeatedly for the different note streams can be a little disorientating on harder songs, but you get used to it. The main music stages aren't excessively challenging, especially since you don't need full-chains on hard for any trophies, but the step up mode can present a significant challenge on certain steps for those not super rhythmically inclined (like myself). You are required to play every song on every difficulty, so enjoy those brain dead easy mode runs, but the only other grind is playing one song 20 times. All in all, a relatively straightforward plat, and if you like vocaloid outside of just Miku, a good play.
Popular Post Senbon Kaguya
#383 - Like A Dragon: Ishin! Bakamatsu Boss Collected all trophies. Been a while since I've done one of these, but I had to post this since it took a lot out of me lol. An amazing game as always from RGG studios, but the grind was real on my part and I had terrible luck. 175+ hours later and I managed to finish the Completion list finally, but the seal crafting and Yoshiyuki grinding were an absolute pain in the ass IMO. Either way, I enjoyed the hell out of it and can't wait to see what Gaiden has to offer later this year. I hope you have better luck than me if you plan on going for this platinum haha.
